against my will I am subjected to detailed news about the us American election. I wish I could simply not care, but regrettably the entire world is going to feel the consequences of it. And then I see endless posts encouraging people to vote for Democrats, begging them to not withhold their vote because they might not be fully behind either candidate.

You know what people here stereotypically expect Americans to be? Egoistical and fucking stupid. And that's what you fucking sound like. How can some of you seriously be there like "idk who to vote for it's so difficult on the one hand we have this guy who's political agenda seems to be pretty much centre, and on the other a literal fucking fascist who plans on taking away the rights of just about every marginalised group, hmmm ha hoo hmmm I cannot morally support either of them". Boohoo your current president/party did some things you very strongly disagree with. You're not fucking special, that's the case in every country on this goddamn planet. Trump would fuck up your already fucked up healthcare/education/political system even more than it already is and we all agree it's horrendous now. "Vote third party" are you fucking dumb. You do not have a political system like the French for example where that kind of tactical voting worked. Every vote not for (presumably) Harris is a vote for Trump and for the life of me I will never understand how you're not doing everything in your power to keep that man out of the white house.

But as I said in the beginning. Egoistical and stupid. Full offence. Go fucking vote Democrat so that you will have another election to complain about the candidates at all.
