watching the 2011 tintin movie (i’m in my revisiting my childhood era) and damn this street painter gets to have a french accent, where the fuck is tintin’s !!! explodes
#like im not actually mad about it but . MISSED opportunity#to be completely honest if i knew nothing about tintin and u presented me with an image of him .#i would have immediately went oh that guy’s the britishest twink to ever british#but i do have prior context <\3 in my mind he has that belgian-sbe mix accent i was going on about earlier#this is my tintin and i get to choose the accent etc etc#jay liveblogs#heavier lean on brussels but there’s just enough outside influence that ur like. ? and occasionally u hear a sbe English pronunciation#and ur like oh is this guy southern english ? but then there’s the additional influence of other spoken english accents#he’s picked up over his travels and u just don’t know what this guy’s deal is#why did i add an extra english after sbe .
