I started reading 16bit Sensation and there's this page where the characters are playing the oh-so wholesome Princess Maker (yup, the OG!) only for one of the guys to destroy the illusion with some computer artistry. Such is life \_(シ)_/

You see Gainax's DOS version of Princess Maker had this "secret" patched version where the clothes were replaced with nothing files, meaning your daughter would be in her birthday suit with all the details (Hello? Chris Hanson? Is that you?!) In the windows version, you could press "change clothes" and hold down a button and poof! A not very secret menu with an undress button! This was thankfully removed in the remake.

This means that Meiko here is either a) playing a patched version of PM without knowing it, b) is playing the windows version (my memory is fuzzy but she should be playing on a pc98 at this point in the story. If that's true, then this is a version mixup on the mangakas part TAKE THAT!!!!) or c) theres an exploit I don't know about.

Anyhow, in PM2 the stripping is even easier. You just have to delete a few files and/or edit the files to unlock a secret shop with a debug item. Obviously this was removed in the remake. When you hear people complain about PM being censored, this is what they're referring to (even if they don't know it)... Nudity isn't sexual by itself, but remember: Otaku are the scum of the earth and should never be trusted with anything.
