AG Cowgirl Outfits

Following in the footsteps of @enby-dollhouse and @doll-collecting-aerialist, who did posts on the variety of ballerina and tennis outfits respectively, I wanted to do my take on a section of AG outfits I love: cowgirls! Saddle up and let's head out!

Rootin', Tootin' Cowgirl (1998)

Okay, so maybe this is the outfit that inspired me to do this post in the first place. This is adorable. It's rootin'. It's tootin'. I love the bright blue color. It's advertised as a Halloween costume, but doubles just fine as a fancy rodeo outfit. I do like the idea that you can be the sheriff, or the bandit, or both at the same time! And lest we forget to mention that black cat trick-r-treat bucket!!

Molly's Dude Ranch Outfit (2004)

Is anybody doing it like Miss Molly? This outfit was not connected with any book but released as part of a "Summer Fun" collection. I like to imagine Molly went to a dude ranch near Yellowstone National Park, or maybe somewhere along her Route 66 Adventure. It's cute and pretty authentic to rodeo shows. Also, look at her little canteen!

Nicki's Ranch Outfit (2007)

Most cowgirls don't wear the fancy rodeo costumes like a lot of people think: those are for the shows and fairs! During her daily work, Nicki wears her own pink version of modern jeans, chaps, and boots. And of course her staw hat to protect her from the sun.

Rustic Ranch Outfit (2008)

Another practical outfit; it may look impractical to wear a skirt but I've seen girls who prefer it, if they are riding side-saddle. The vest is kind've plain, but it comes with a horse-themed scrapbook and a (faux) leather Western Hat.

Western Riding Outfit (2010)

Definitely a casual pick for our cowgirl. Fit for farm or school, everybody knows exactly what animal is this American Girl's favorite. Like Nicki, this girl wears a straw hat, but she'll need sunblock if she's going to ride all day with those short sleeves and skirt!

Western Plaid Outfit (2014)

I like to think of this as Abercrombie Horse Girl. I'm not sure how practical that dress is for horse riding, and I'm a bit worried about those loose band around her boots. Still, this girl has something not previously seen, even with Nicki, and that's the very important helmet! Always wear a helmet while horse riding!!

Pretty Pink Riding Outfit (2014)

Sold at the same time as the previous one, so you could choose which outfit you wanted with your life-saving helmet. This girl is wearing what I liked to call Gucci Horse Girl.

Blue-Ribbon Riding Outfit (1998)

I forgot this one so I'm adding it here to show you what I would consider an Ideal Horse Riding outfit. Helmet: check! Proper boots: check! The coat even comes with functional pockets and inner thigh padding. She certainly gets the blue ribbon from me for best dressed!

Maryellen's Cowgirl Outfit (2022)

Ah, a return to classics! This is about as stereotypical "cowgirl" as you can get. As far as I'm aware, this is meant to be her Halloween costume, which tracks with how popular cowgirls & cowboys were during the 1950s. Lookin' cute, Miss Maryellen!

Lila's Horseback Riding Outfit (2024)

I think when Glen Campbell sang "Rhinestone Cowboy" he wasn't talking about this. Still, maybe this is what horse girls these days wear? It's a shame to see a modern girl without a helmet, but you can't deny this fits Miss Lila's style to a tee!

Another favorite of mine is Subaru and it’s just because he’s actually so nice despite him having major anger issues, he’s game routes are my favorite out of everyone, I swear if he wasn’t a vampire he would be even nicer to Yui, And yes of course there were times that he was so cruel to her and it’s no excuse, but cut him some slack he got mommy and daddy issues 😾

3. It’s a tie between Shu and Reiji, I’m sorry I just can’t choose in my opinion they’re the prettiest along side Ayato, I’m just rlly into smart characters with mommy issues ( here referring to Reiji 👹 ) Also let’s talk about how much Shu describes my whole personality lol I also sleep and listen to music the whole time but I’m not cold like him and he’s actually really funny, their interaction together is really interesting / funny, I always love when they interact.

I don’t have any major opinion about him, I’m not really into pervert characters but he is hilarious, I know he has some severe trauma ( well like the rest of them ) yet again there’s no excuse to anything that they did to Yui. Now let me be honest and don’t come after me for this cuz I know a lot of people like Kanato but I hate him sm 💀, He is so annoying and my anger issues could never handle him, that one coffee scene with Yui in the Anime still pisses me off to this day, I swear if I was Yui I would start slapping the shit out of him, he acts like he either bullies or gets bullied by kids on Roblox. But I do like his aesthetic and his whole creepy vibe overall and maybe if he was taller I would’ve liked him more ^^ // Jk

how do think willow and hunter first talked about them being bi/pan? or do you think it's just so accepted on the boiling isles that they probably would never bring it up?

(This ask is from back when we got the bi/pan confirmation and I've been saving it, kinda thinking of putting effort into writing something cute and good quality. However I ended up waking up from a nap while the Q&A was happening and somebody told my confused disoriented ass that Zeno was talking about Hunter exploring his identity and going on dates while in the human realm. And I tapped out something very messy and stream of consciousness-y in my notes app in my sleepy state. So you're getting this instead. I don't feel like cleaning it up.)

Like like like it's. Luz putting together her little coming out slideshow for Camila. And the topic of sexualities comes up. And Amity and Willow puzzle out what theirs are nearly immediately. Gus doesn't but he's unfazed by it. While Hunter is like....I...can't say for certain and its bothering me. Like this is a THING that has a chance of helping him feel like more of a person. He wants his very own flag. He just doesn't know what it is yet. He'd like to know.

He likes Willow. He knows he likes Willow. But...there isn't a flag for liking Willow. (As far as he knows. He's thinking of making one. But for now he's stumped.)

There's a very specific route the kids take to the grocery store to collect stuff for Camila. Hunter likes to take the task because he likes feeling useful. Willow also likes to help but she'd be lying if she said another reason wasn't long walks with Hunter. Usually one of the other kids tags along too. Or more than one. But today it's just Hunter and Willow.

They always pass that damn statue but Hunter always averts his eyes and hopes Willow does too. He doesn't like to look at it. But maybe if he turned his gaze towards it every once in a while he'd notice the boy who always sits beneath the statue with a little handheld game console. The boy who always lifts his head when Hunter strolls by.

This is the day when the boy chooses to be brave. There's no gaggle of friends around him today. Just one girl. This is it. This is his chance. The boy marches up to Hunter and Willow in a way that Hunter immediately clocks as similar to his own Golden Guard body language. When he was trying to feel big but failing miserably.

The boy IS big tho. That's the weird thing. Tall with broad shoulders and chunky arms. A cluster of metal pierced into his left ear and a silver stud in his nose. He looks....so cool. So very very cool. Hunter misses the first words out of this dude's mouth cuz he was too busy looking at him and he needs to repeat himself.

So. Hm. Okay. Well. APPARENTLY. Piercings boy thinks Hunter is cute. Which is a staggering revelation that leaves Hunter a little speechless. And if that weren't surprising enough, he's now pushing a little piece of paper in Hunter's direction, babbling something about talking some time. Or maybe going out, whatever.

While all this is going down Willow just.....watches. Smiling. Nudging Hunter when it's his turn to speak and he's forgotten. It's cute. He gets like that with her sometimes too. It made her feel very cool and pretty that she made such a handsome boy nervous. But now....she's watching this little interaction play out and she's realizing....

Hunter's obvious little crush on her. Just how easy would it go away if he met somebody cooler. Somebody prettier. Somebody who's not clearly living a lie and hiding everything from everyone all the time. Somebody brave enough to actually ask him out.

It seems like just as she's getting comfortable in these kinds of situations, an Amity always sweeps in. And that's fine. She's used to it by now.

And also...she....she really cares about Hunter. He's been getting so much happier and experimental in the Human Realm. She wants him to try new things. She wants him to figure out who he really is. And....maybe that version of himself won't always have a little crush on Willow Park. Maybe he'll realize that there's better people out there. And that's okay. Whatever it takes for him to smile.

There's something very ugly writhing in her stomach and Willow pretends it's not there. Instead she yanks up her smile wider and as the mystery boy strides away, she pounces on Hunter. She teases him a little, she asks why he got so very shy. Is it because he liiiiiiiikes Mr Mystery Boy huh? And Hunter doesn't know what to say. He doesn't KNOW Mr Mystery Boy. Willow counters that's what the number is for. That's what dates are for. After a long back-and-forth discussion, its Willow that urges him to dial that number. They have to borrow Camila's phone. And Willow stands there as moral support as Hunter stumbles through the question.

Hunter has a date this Saturday. Which is very exciting. And also weird. And scary. He blushes whenever you bring it up. But Willow happily hypes him up for it every day leading up to it.

On Saturday, Hunter leaves the house at mid day and Willow sees him off, waving enthusiastically. He smiles softly and waves back at her, still twitchy with nerves. She gives a finger guns and assures him it's gonna go fine. He's a catch! This makes him giggle and she swells with pride.

The door clicks shut. Hunter is gone. It feels like a light has been sucked out of the household. Willow's smile slips.

She could head upstairs and hang out with the other girls. She could go down to the basement with Gus. But....right now she'd prefer to be alone.

Willow cleans the kitchen, which Camila is very grateful for once she gets home from work. And then she settles in the living room, snuggles up on the couch and throws something on the TV. Willow sits there and watches for hours. She barely processes any of it. And yet, she's simultaneously so wrapped up in the television that she doesn't hear the door click.

"Eyyyyy, I'm back," Hunter says in that awkward way he always announces his return. And just like that, a light switches and Willow is all zazzed again.

"Ooooooh Casanova has returned!!" She chirps. "A little.....earlier than I expected....?"

Hunter looks a little sheepish but doesn't comment on that. Willow thumps the couch cushion opposite her. "Cmere boy. Tell me everything."

Hunter sits down beside her and after turning to look at her huge grin, he smiles warmly.

"What?" She asks.

"Nothing."

"You gonna tell me how it went?"

"Fine. Um. Normal. For a date. I think? I dunno I've never been on one but I'm pretty sure I did an okay job."

Willow decides to rip the bandaid off immediately. "Any lip action?"

Hunter's reaction was a funny choking noise and a volatile flush across his neck "No!" He blurted. "Just...."

"Juuuuust?"

"Just hands! He held my hand! He held my hand and it was nice! I liked it!"

"Oh."

It's nice that Hunter got his hand held. He has such pretty hands. She's always thought they were very holdable. She's really happy. She's delighted. Just great.

She's a good person who is happy when good things happen to her friends, Titandamn it. And not a secretly ugly resentful person who wishes for selfish things.

"Yeah and. Uh..." He's scrubbing the back of his neck. "We...um. Ended up talking. A lot."

"About date number two, no doubt...." Willow sings.

"There's not going to be a date number two," Hunter answers immediately, knocking Willow out of her depth.

.....huh?

"I....thought you liked him?" She asks.

"I mean. Yeah. He's. He's nice but...but when I said we talked a lot...I might have told him that...." Hunter trails away.

"Told him what?"

There's a pause before Hunter speaks again, his voice a little higher pitched. "Oh! J-just. Just told him about a ton of stuff. Told him I like birds. And I like to read. And...and about Camila being a vet and....and I talked a lot about my friends. Gus. A-and Luz and Amity. And Vee. And uh. And you. And....we...we both decided that this probably wasn't gonna work out."

"Oh...." Willow....doesn't know how to feel about this. She doesn't have to pretend to be disappointed because she really is. Her friend had a chance to have a sweet little romance with somebody cute. And it just didn't work out. "I'm sorry, Hunter,"

But Hunter shakes his head. "I'm not disappointed. I actually....um. I liked it. I've never been on a date before and it....I dunno, it made me feel like a real teenager. Which is dumb to say because I know I AM a real teenager but..."

He perks up. "Oh! Oh and-and um...." His words tumble one over the other though there's a grin tugging at the corner of his lip. "Josh and I we....we figured it out. Me. We...we figured out me. I'm..."

He catches himself and clears his throat, extending a hand to her. "Hi, Willow! My name is bisexual!...Wait! Wait, no! Hunter! My name is....I'm bisexual and I'm Hunter! I...Agh!! Josh said I should come out to you in a smooth way but...."

Willow is grinning ear to ear, always transfixed by his frequent fumbles over the complicated act of putting words together. "You're bisexual!" She declares happily. "Hunter that's fantastic!"

Hunter's smile is soft but there's a hint of pride there too. "Yeah...thanks. I know it is...."

A pause.

"I have completely forgotten what bisexual means tho," Admits Willow.

"O-oh! Oh it's just um. I-I like multiple genders. Today I found out for certain that boys are....wow...."

Willow smirks. "Boys are wow?"

"Well.....arent they?"

She thinks about it for a moment, raking her eyes across the splotchy blush still clinging to his pretty face. Her insides are in a riot of fluttering flower petals.

"I guess they are," She agrees fondly.

"But also I...." He cuts himself off with a sudden bout of breathlessness. He inhales sharply. "Girls..."

"Girls," Repeats Willow expectantly.

"I see..." Willow is a little frustrated to find that she's also a little short of breath. "So maybe your next date will be with a girl then,"

There's some sort of internal battle raging on. She can see it in the violent twist and turns of his facial expressions. Finally, his throat bobs. "Nothing." He answers.

"Sorry...." He continues. "For coming home early. I just really wanted to...." Why does he keep trailing off? "It looks like you were trying to have some time to yourself. I can leave if...."

"You stay right here, Mr heartbreaker," Says Willow. "Stay here and watch weird human crystal ball shows with me."

A stiffness she didn't notice until now melts out of his shoulders. "Okay. I'd like that. A lot."

Hunter attempts to shuffle into a comfortable position, but what he's not prepared for is his friend Willow suddenly lunging and knocking him against the cushions in a tight tackle hug.

"Congratulations on your name being Bisexual," She mutters against the fabric of his shirt. "I like being the first one told,"

"N-no problem...." His voice cracks a little.

It takes maybe three minutes of comfortable silence and human realm TV babbling for Hunter to pipe up "And I'm not a heartbreaker. I didn't break anyone's heart."

"You could," Willow answers smoothly, not taking her eyes off the TV. "You have way more power over some people's hearts than you realize."

Sting not only is a hype man by nature, he loves your masculinity, your male-ness, and encourages it and your expression of it however you choose. You want tips on serving pure "dude" or just affirmation? He's the one you go to.

See, if Rogue were your boyfriend, he'd be the type to respond to you being addressed with the wrong pronoun by just talking about you casually and using the correct pronoun without drawing attention to it. Not Sting--he loudly and pointedly corrects people the second they make that mistake, just because he knows people don't be paying no fuccin attention half the time. It's embarrassing at first because of how gung-ho he is about it but it's something you end up liking about him.

Sting is the type of bisexual dude to call himself gay at literally every opportunity and endorse anything that allows him to feel more gay. oooooh this one's hard! i love the voices but while many of them have cute exchanges here and there, the overall dynamics tend to peter out as the route develops, as the focus (naturally) shifts to the princess or they devolve into mere arguing. which is fine but it makes choosing one to place over the others a bit hard.

for my money, it'll have to be hero's two boyfriends, of course. there's a good reason why contrahero and parahero are the biggest voice ships and it's because they're so cute.

leaving with stranger is my personal favorite ending because, while it breaks my heart to leave my boys, knowing for sure hero has contrarian by his side makes my heart warm. love love love their banter too ♡♡♡

(gosh, i would love to participate in that one contrahero kiss chain but mine don't have mouths so-)

voice of phantasia, a certified chuunibyou. a fool who wholeheartedly believes in the story the narrator has spun for them and is exceedingly confident in the long quiet's ability to defeat the world-ending princess, thus allowing them to make full use of the long quiet's perception abilities.

unfortunately, they're unable to be in the driver's seat most of the time as their grandiose, often wrong, ideas are immediately stamped out by the other voices and narrator before they can take foothold in the long quiet's mind.

- This is just subjective, but this wet mop of a man is also boring as shit which is why Cheritz kept him mostly vague and stuck to the background. If you want the fucked up relationship dynamics, just get one of the bad ends with Rika tbh, she at least serves lewks with her brand of crazy cunt.

- in short, you will never be in an equal partnership with this man and he won't be held accountable. The one time he tried, he said some pretty obviously triggering things to the crazy gf and got stabbed. He did not have the foresight to come with backup, announce where he would be, etc. He lived only because the gf that stabbed him calls you to come help him while she's still spiraling out of control.

Lmao when you pick Shu for the LI and Ayato says Yui has bad taste. LMAO at Yui trying her best to talk to Shu because he's so uninterested in anything and she asks him if he can turn into a vampire and fly😂😂😂 Yui kissing Shu on the cheek to get him to go to class was so cute. Shu is like lazy to a new level, who goes into the bath with their clothes on and sleeps there while sinking lmao. Like obviously he's not going to die but is it really comfortable?! HAHAHA, Shu was smiling at listening to women moaning on his earphones?! I am dead, legit died when he gave an earphone to Yui to let her listen, what a guy😂😂😂 I find it cute how much he teases Yui haha. It seems like the reason Shu is so "lazy" is actually because his butler and maid never let him do anything. His mother, Beatrix didn't want him exposed to the outside world so he was basically living like he was in gaol I assume, but even more restricted because he's not allowed out. I wonder if that's why he has a habit of sleeping all the time, it's because he literally can't do anything besides sleep and sleeping is the easiest way for time to pass. It's actually pretty cute how Shu insists on staying in the same room as Yui even if he's just sleeping there and his room is next door lmao. He's so fond of her and loves teasing her haha. Something I've always found amusing is that they all go to school and are third years lol, like haven't they been living for a while since they're vampires? He's really lazy to a new level to not bother taking baths and when he does, he doesn't take off his clothes lmao. Honestly, I'm lazy too but when it affects how comfortable you are, then it's definitely a problem! I guess the issue here is that according to him, nothing is really of issue so he just does nothing. It's actually pretty crazy how jealous Reiji is of Shu, he's so obsessed. I feel bad for Yui getting stabbed just because he can't hack that Shu has "everything" so he'll destroy it all instead. Considering how much of a villain Reiji is, it's crazy to think he's an LI. He burnt the village/forest leading to childhood Shu's best friend's death and kills Yui now, like omg, how am I supposed to feel for this guy in his route lol! I'm so glad Shu got his revenge on Reiji because he's been way too tolerant all this time, but I do feel bad that Yui had to die for something like this to occur. It was really sweet to see Shuu not even hesitate to cut himself and give his blood to Yui the moment he heard her heart thump. You can tell how desperate he is and how much he loves her. It's sad that even though she was revived as a vampire, the effects of the stabbing caused her to be in a state of frailty and be basically blind now but she lives because she wants to stay with Shu. OMG, Shu is the oldest brother??? I didn't realise lol! Very unexpected haha! I really didn't like the third ending though because Reiji and Shuu literally just killed each other and then it ended! I probably feel the worse for Yui though because it means she becomes the play toy for the rest of the brothers. It was such a random ending lmao.

Okay, Shu in the first ending saying he's okay with throwing everything else away except her just made me so happy haha! Yui looking pretty seductive and suggestive haha, it's nice to see her assert some dominance🤣 But I think the nicest thing is seeing Shu leave that house with the only thing he needs in his life, Yui. It was so sweet when he said his life has no meaning without her, but I think the sweetest thing he did was apologising to her and asking her not to cry, you could really feel his genuine concern and desire for her to smile and not cry when she's with him and I think that was the most sincere display of his love for her. I also genuinely love how Shu is okay with Yui killing him and can easily tell when it's not her. There's gotta be some fetish with having your enemy (Reiji) sucking Yui's blood and then having Shu disinfect it and drink her blood lol because I thought it was such a weird scenario haha. I honestly hate Reiji and his jealousy. Well, dang, Yui sure has become a wild girl to skip class, climb on top of Shuu and do lewd stuff with him in school! Not that I'm complaining since it was pretty hot. Having Laito spice up their bedroom game is kinda funny, especially when he couldn't get Yui as turned on as Shu could🤣 I mean, to be fair, she only likes Shu so that affects everything.

Overall, Shu is most likely the most "normal" guy in this game. I mean I haven't played Reiji and Subaru's routes yet but only Subaru has the chance to be more normal haha. Anyway, it seems like Shu is actually pretty popular so I'm actually disappointed that I didn't like his route as much as I thought! I actually wanted to know more about his mother and stuff which was barely explored, instead it focused on the death of his friend leading him into becoming the person he is that doesn't care for anyone which is understandable but why did they have to make Reiji such an ass? How do I do his route after this lol. I also wasn't really a fan of the extent his laziness went because omg, half the time I'm not sure if he's qualified as a body or a person in the first half of the route with the way Yui had to take care of him. However, I do admit that after he fell in love, I probably enjoyed their romantic gestures and interactions the most out of all the guys, mainly because Shu is very expressive with his words, actions and emotions so you can really see how much he loves Yui and cherishes her in a very sweet way. It was really sweet and heartwarming to see that Yui could be treated in such a humane way LOL, I was happy for her. The downside is that this route lacks depravity lmao, and also I feel like Shu's binaural audio lines were much more lacklustre compared to the others but I guess that's also because he doesn't say much sexy stuff lolll. But yeah, definitely a more bland, tame, sweet lazy cinnamon roll route, which isn't too bad haha but not what you sign up for when you play a game like this lmao, still good though.

Of all the kids I think it makes most sense for Raf to be the one who sets it all up. Maybe he's always wanted to play it but never had a large enough group of friends to do so till now. Jack likely knows about DnD but avoided it due to it being a nerd game (or perceived that way) and idk if Miko would've heard about it at all.

Optimus - Dragonborn Paladin. Dude is so paladin coded, I can't imagine him playing anything else. As for race, I think Optimus would be completely lost on what to choose and end up letting the kids choose for him. Went with dragonborn because I'm incredibly biased towards them. I can see his character being a silver dragonborn with spots of red and blue scales. I wanna draw that so bad now oml

Ratchet - Modified Construct (as in, a homebrew Construct race that's literally just a Cybertronian but human height) Cleric. Or maybe an artificer that leans more towards healing? Idk if one can make a healing artificer but I'm sure Ratchet would go that route. I imagine he would have the hardest time getting into the game at first. And then getting so absorbed into it, he ends up looking up all the game lore in his spare time and becoming the most obsessed with the game by the end of the campaign.

Bulkhead - Halfling, gnome, or dwarf, because I think it would be funny if Bulkhead played the small character while Miko played the giant one. I can see him being either a fighter or a bard, giving him an excuse to blast rock music whenever his character plays music in game

Bumblebee - Human rougue. Let him be fast and sneaky as a treat

Arcee - Human monk. She wants to punch and kick things real good

Jack - Feel like he'd end up defaulting to being the only magic based class user since everyone else would be so focused on physical type combat. I myself have a hard time playing magic based classes, but warlock is fairly easy to understand I think? Would be an interesting dynamic between Jack's and Optimus' characters, as one is powered by holy light and the other gains power from a demonic pact. Fairly sure he'd stick to human for race, maybe half elf

Miko - Goliath or half giant for race, as big as she can possibly make her character. Can't decide between barbarian or bard for her. Whichever Bulkhead goes with, she'd maybe go opposite? Whatever covers the bases of the other, as I'm sure they'd plan out their characters together

Rafael - No doubt in my mind that he'd be the DM. I think he'd be a very patient DM and be able to find ways to explain the game to the Autobots that the other two couldn't really do themselves. May even homebrew creatures in the game to look like native creatures of Cybertron after consulting Ratchet on them. If he was playing a character, I see him going with a wizard/sorceror elf. Probably in the event that Ratchet gets so into the game that he ends up DMing the next campaign jbjvjjd Which uhhh certainly becomes an experience for all involved

Most of the Tumblr fandom likes this guy but if you step outside this website then wham so many people say he got what he deserved as a kid and Batman can't be cool if he's a dad so it's important for Batman to trash-talk his dead child constantly so we can all agree what a bad idea it was. Also wanna highlight that a lot of the records we have from fans at the time were clear they disliked Robin for BEING a child. Like a lot of the little dude characters in this tournament are treated too harshly for making an ugly choice and the fans aren't being understanding or sympathetic that the choice is made by a child character who is immature and not developed and strong enough to make a good choice and stuff. But THIS little dude was specifically hated FOR being a child. People wanted tough loner guy Batman not Batdad and his little buddy. The first Robin would drive back from college and guest star sometimes and be advertised as the Teen Wonder and people were like yeah okay but then Batman actually starts being a single parent for a child with needs and people were like UGH not the BOY Wonder. Today pretty much everywhere you see Batman fans saying Batman is better solo, no kid, it's not realistic to have a kid, a kid shouldn't be in the movies blah. Even if the comics they always find a way to send away the new kid so that Batman never has to parent. So all the Robins are being excluded from the narrative but I think this one is THE symbol of Batman fans hating a child character just for being a child.

But to this day, many fans agree it was a good idea to kill off the other Robin so that his foolish death reminds other characters to never be childish and stupid again. Yess I encourage you guys to make ocs/ y/n(s) for this au, it’s suppose to be this fun lil story game type of situation. Also how you interact with the characters would affect your route/ journey :pp, the core situation being sun and moon (protagonists) who are in a toggle with finding who they are in this city. Especially sine they are almost done paying their debt, which means they get a choice of leaving the life of crime and try to live a normal life in this chaotic city, or give in to the chaos and bathe in the riches of being a higher class assassin.

“Game” rules under the cut:

Friends? Lovers? Rivals? (Relationships)

Friendship-You can just go the chill route of friends, its pretty self explanatory, befriend the two and choose a path together, hang out, visit one another, all that, the oc can be any age in this route. (Preferably over the age of 12 😂)

Romantic- For the simps yahoo! You can move in together, own a cat or something, idk. Eclipse, sun, moon and even 8ot are options. Poly relationships are available for sun moon and 8ot, but eclipse only wants u to himself if u want him 💀 (also oc has to be over 18 for obvious reasons)

Rivals- 😏 this would be interesting, depending on how evil you wanna be with it, but remember if the oc is going to physically fight em, these dudes are tough cookies and wont go down that easily

City environment: basically very chaotic, it’s a beautiful looking place with glass buildings that reach the clouds and vibrant hologram lights but the police system is even more corrupt than real life, and crime is everywhere. There is heavily armed flying tanks (basically police cars) that will not hesitate to shoot and kill anyone that disobeys them.

Citizens: there are two life forms, one being humans and the other being sentient robots. Cyborgs still fall into the human category. Most humans have some sort of cybernetic enhancement in this city. It’s hard for sentient robots without a human owner to find jobs so they usually get involved in crime and hide out in the shadows, scavenge to survive and all that.

Regarding this subject alone (P being a good person), there is a huge exaggeration about it all over the internet, not just LSA. Here on Tumblr, for example, the amount of posts I have read calling Pedro "perfect" and that no other man in the world can't match him it's ridiculous. All over the internet there are women that wether because of a difficult life, past relationship traumas, father issues or whatever choosed Pedro to be their "dream man".

They project a shit load of stuff on him and built a person that it's probably only 10% faithful to what he really is as a person. Dude has shown red flags, flaws, everything throughout these years, but some people are way too immersed on their dreamland to wake up and see him for what he really is: a normal man.

Also, I think it's important to point out that some older women of the fandom, women in their 40s, 50s and even 60s, that were raised in another time, constantly show signs of sexism. That old school mentality of "him, almighty man, me, submissive woman 🙇‍♀️" I literally have read fans saying they don't mind P being controlling because they would love to be "controlled" by him, having him deciding their lives up and down, like... 🤨😑 what 50's housewife shit is that?

But yeah, as I said, it's another generation, those people were probably raised by conservative parents, it's complicated, but it's important to bring that up 'cause young women might go through this same route thinking that older women "always know better" and then, voilà, we'll have yet another generation that think men are divine superior beings 🤷‍♀️

I think I kinda get what "addiction isn't a choice" means now.

Sure, people can choose to do drugs, but whether they become addicted or not is kinda unpredictable. While some drugs do have a higher risk of being addictive, there's always some people who could do it occasionally with little consequences. There's always some people who will find them unenjoyable. Yes, they are a small exception, but that just proves doing drugs isn't always some inevitable downfall. If "addiction is a choice" because "doing drugs is a choice", that would imply addiction is an absolute result (and it isn't).

Other than that, addiction is torture. People don't want to be addicted, people want relief, fun, or any other reason to do drugs. This could apply to anything. Even eating. Food is amazing, tasty, gives you nutrients, and can be a source of enjoyment. But nobody wants to voluntarily be obsessed with food to the point it absolutely wrecks your health and social life.

Okay, maybe doing shady controlled subtances from the black market isn't everyone's cup of tea. But addiction can also arise from legitimate medical use too. Many people can use drugs for medical reasons and not spiral down. I know a lot of people that are prescribed benzos and very responsible with them. But I also know people who end up suffering with substance abuse issues after being prescribed Xanax from their doctor (and for legitimate reasons). One ended up in the ER from withdrawals. Another cried begging their doctor to continue prescribing them xans and no, they weren't some random dude pretending to be sick just for a script. Another eventually abused them because it was their only comfort during mental illness. Many people don't go down this route but others do.

Smae with opioids. Some do get addicted from what was initially medical use but there's also a lot of people who can use them long-term with little consequences. We can always know what factors increase the possibility of getting addicted, but in the end you can't really predict it. You never know. This is also why posts trying to discredit/invalidate people's medical issues just because they got addicted to their meds never sit right with me. Many people with ADHD do use stimulants responsibly and they are indeed important for helping you function. But to say someone doesn't have ADHD because they got addicted to Vyvanse is a bit reductionist.

I agree nobody should be shamed for taking meds that help them, and no meds should be stigmatized. But like how people shouldn't assume everyone who takes [insert potentially addictive pharms here] to be addicts and talk shit about them, we shouldn't treat addicts like absolute scum or invalidate their problems either. Drug stigma is harmful.
