My best friend always makes fun of me because I would be the person to buy a fucking 9 in 1 shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, hand soap, deodorant, drain cleaner, motor oil, and rocket fuel

#i grew up with not a lot of money #and just recently i got a good job and got settled in a comfy financial situation #but old habits die hard and i still go to ridiculous lengths to save money #i still dont know how to spend it #i barely go grocery shopping and i barely know how to #my check engine and maintenance required lights have been on in my car since the day after i bought it #i have to pay to do laundry so i dont do laundry until im out of clothes and then ill give in and do a single load of essentials #i would 100% buy a 9in1 thing with this much in it #what a deal!!#im getting a little better at spending money though #im also learning that its okay to treat myself occasionally #that one was harder #im learning its okay to go to the art store instead of walmart for art supplies #its okay to rent or buy a movie i want to watch #and get some pretty decor for my room #or cute clothes #or another plant #as well as buying essentials #gotts learn balance #i aleo need to learn how to grocery shop because my parents never did so i never really learned how to properly grocery shop #it should be easy #but somehow ill go to target and spend $100 then somehow come home with nothing #its a learning process and im getting there #im super fortunate to have enough money to be comfy now #eternalky grateful to this good life i made #hell yeah #now i have to go figure out how to acquire a credit score so i can move out of this starter apartment into somewhere nicer with my bf and gf #being an adult away from my parents can be super spicy ngl
