OK SO GET THIS

theres this one fic i found a while ago, beautifully written, 30+ chs of angsty goodness, SLOW BURN they dont even kiss until ch 19 (so there is a plot!!) man, BIG LOV for that fic but uhh i havent looked at it in like a few years, and i randomly had the urge to see it again yesterday at like 3/4am BUT guess what it was deleted i was so sad i thought i would never see it again BUT NOO i actually found some guy on reddit who ran a code for 18 MONTHS basically archiving the entirety of ff dot net (i was so shook this man living in 3027, doing GODS WORK) so i spent like 3 hrs downloading a 6.5gb zip file of ALL THE NARUTO FICS ON FF DOT NET AT THE POINT OF THE ARCHIVING i dont actually kno if this is slow or not my internet / computer is like uhhhh so well, it took 3 hrs

so its 7am im here unzipping this mf file and i have to stop like every 2% it uncompresses so i can look through the list looking for THE ONE™ and deleting everything else cuz i didnt want to fucc up my computer / use mad storage keeping like 354064106847086460510 naruto fics??? so it takes a few minutes every time i move like 10,000 .txt files to the recycling and another few mins to empty the trash can, dan is my computer slow, i did some MAJOR reading while waiting, i got like 126 pages further into 1q84 (good book but super weird uh) 

but anywhooo its like 8am i got no sleep, the zip file is ~20% unzipped yet i dont see it and im high key paranoid cuz WAT IF ITS NOT HERE anxiété killing me as i uncompress, pause, scan list, trash, empty trash, repeat, my grandma wakes up and is like bihh wtf u still up im like ya, its around 8 30 i make heart shaped onigiri while i wait trying to chill tf out, also did i mention i had cake also because STRESS

the file is 25% unzipped yet no sign of the fic im looking for im getting hella nervous, unzipping another 5%, scanning the list, and BAM I SEE IT OMG GOD IS REAL ITS THERE I ONLY HAD TO UNZIP 30% ITS HERE AAAAA

its 9am my heart is at peace i can read about my otp once again im so shook i cant believe that worked out for me wtf wtf moral of the story? never give up that is my ninja way dont let ur dreams be dreams OR dont be a dumb bihh (i never learn sigh kms) and BACK UP FICS BEFOREHAND WHILE THEYRE THERE FOR GODS SAKE
