Ah, thanks for that! I had a strong recollection it was debunked but then saw it referenced in one of amoraltoâs posts and wondered if I remembered wrong.
I havenât gotten to Jan 10 in the Nagra reels yet, but it does seem highly unlikely given how passive aggressive everything is. Plus how easily they mock reports of it later.
Really weird bit for George Martin to make up though. Unless it was a bit of game of telephone. I guess if the walkout was following a closed Beatles only lunch, all kinds of speculation was running about that day.
10 January 1969
Today in 1969, George Harrison rehearsed until lunch time.

Sneaky Dragon Listening Party Ep. 13
Hello, our dear music loving listeners! This week on the show: TORTURE!
Thatâs right! Blame Dave for this weekâs show because he decided it would be great fun to make some mixtapes of novelty songs for a friend. Sure, great fun for Dave, but what about us???
Since he made three mixtapes of novelty songs, we thought it would be an unfortunate and painful pile-on to do all three of them over the course of the six shows in a row, so we are going to intersperse these novelty song mixtapes amidst the regular mixes to make the whole process less horrible.
We blame Dave!
Just kidding! Itâs all great!
But we still blame Dave.
Thanks for listening.
