yea danganronpa i love that series i mean yeah it's the scourge of the earth but it has kyoko kirigiri & like 5 other good characters
#i wish i had properly documented my experiences because in retrospect it is kind of hard to capture what i loved#dr1's atmosphere obviously also i'd argue it's surviving cast but only like half of them#idk they kinda just pulled out all the stops for that game#i mean the main villain#also they do endings so good besides the one that doesn't count#the general format plus the way they mix it up is also really cool even if i think all the changes tend to be worse#EXP system :(#but yeah I think like 1-6 was just crazy like you're begging to know what's going on all the locked areas are tantalizing#and then 2 actually made me uncertain about monomi's alignment#very mixed feelings on izuru kamakura#dr2 felt more like an experience i'd say like “woag that sure is happening”#might prefer the non-trial bits of 2-6 to 1-6 but the trial was kind of underwhelming even with the obvious parts#2's characters were... eh all around idk i was kind of struggling to figure out who i wanted to hang out with#the cases were great though. maybe. 2-1 is a very strong start but nothing really lives up#and then i've already talked excessively on 3 & v3 as have others but they're sure are game and anime irrespectively#i mean the themes carry hard until v3 grrrrr i should get back to writing that; got a bit stuck
