im drawing ena and tsukasa as childhood lovers who ended up falling apart due to their respective mental illnesses. they meet each other one day and hang out a lot and get along well due to their shared ambitious natures and go out on cute little middle schooler dates but they eventually fall apart in an evil way due to tsukasa beinga little bit of a stuck-up baby and ena's increasing neurosis over the way people see her and her art. they think about how embarrassing it was to have done that sometimes but they completely lost contact after their breakup and don't keep in touch (they only were able to meet up for playdates cause their parents had each other's phone numbers. they didnt have instagram yet). i had this one idea where theyt did that tiktok meme on a date.

that's literally them. but like their parents make them take all their siblings with them (akito saki and toyas there too.) toya and akito kind of run away together (i'm imagining this as a festival date so ena and tsukasa aren;t that worried about them, they're too busy doing stuff together) and saki stays becuase shes super infatuated with ena as a big sister kind of figure but its kinda awkward cause she's thirdwheeling and stuff. toya and akito are prolly figuring something out about themselves behind the takoyaki stall togehter or something while tsukasa and ena are breaking up and when ena comes looking for akito to take him home cause the vibe is ruined toya and akito are staring into each others eyes and getting all romantical in a middle schooler kinda way. anyways she yanks him away and they never see each other again. it;s tragic. this marks the start of enas few years of being internally and externally homophobic.
