at the end of the day it’s the Internet and people are gonna read and do as they please. for example, all of us chronically online growing up have read at least one smut before like everybody and they mama would be lying if they saw a minors dni and they read it anyone and now ended up like this (an absolute fein for fanfiction) because at the end of the day people are gonna do what they want.

don’t get me wrong, you SHOULD put that labeling because some minors may actually want to avoid that content. now, because you’re putting adults interact…lemme just tell you rn if a grown ass mf searched up the tag to find some x reader of a teenager then i promise you that a “adult dni” is gonna stop em💀💀 you should still put the adult dni, but no matter what an adult will interact with it because they gonna read what they wanna read.

my best advice is just to not stress about it. if you get backlash because an adult is offended to not interact with romantic content of a teenager, just block them. but besides that, there’s nothing really you can do and constantly blocking adults for viewing fics would be tiring and it’s never gonna end. ive been weirded out seeing 21 year olds like my fics of gwen, and when you notice it you can block them but it won’t stop them from viewing other content of that character. and those are accounts that actually put they age, most blogs are blank and you won’t even know. if you want to block accounts that shamelessly have their age but like content of minors, then do so, but im just saying not to stress about it because things like people interacting with content they aren’t supposed to is unfortunately UNAVOIDABLE…..it’s the internet 🤷‍♀️

Hello! Can I please know from where u played nameless? Did you get it on steam or any other way ?

Hi! Judging by your blog, I'm guessing that you are asking because you have never seen or played the game before yourself? If you are interested in playing this game, in my opinion it is Cheritz's best game and I can ensure you will enjoy it

After playing Mystic Messenger in 2017, I first of all played the Nameless demo from Steam, which shows you 2 scenes from the common route. I then purchased the full game for roughly £22 and it has been my biggest special interest since. That's roughly 7 years ago now, and I currently have over 720 hours in the game from playing it over and over again.

Sometimes it does go on sale, tho I'm not sure when. Usually at holidays. I think it is a fair price tbh, especially considering that there are no additional subscriptions or micro-transactions like with the other games

It is not a mobile game like Ssum and MM, but can only be played on Steam. If you don't want to pay but still want to enjoy the game, I recommend Melizbeauty's play through of the game on YouTube

It's an entire visual novel as well. No chat rooms, just visual novel. There are 2 mini games in the game but they aren't difficult and don't have big consequences for failing

I can't tell how much you know about Nameless already, so I'll just take this opportunity to infodump a bit anyway. Sorry if you expected a short answer for this, I'm a bit of a rambler. This post will not contain spoilers though

I'm going to be talking about Nameless in comparison to MysMes and Ssum, since that's the perspective I assume you're coming from - see below for a spoiler free review of Nameless the One Thing You Must Recall

The game has the same 5 love interests and 2 secret endings, just like MysMes, and it of course has a smiliar vibe, in which the game appears quite cutesy and innocent but can have a lot of dark themes

Mystic Messenger's general theme is mental health, and Nameless has themes of that too, but specifically leans into grief and abandonment as a core theme, as well as childhood and memory

It revolves around our main character, who has been living all on her own since her grandfather's passing in the last year. She has 2 best friends, but still keeps her own feelings and her hobby of doll-collecting to herself. When her dolls magically come to life one day, they begin to live with her, and she is no longer lonely or sad at home like she was before they came to life

Considering Dandelion as well as Nameless, I believe that Cheritz made the wrong decision by making games that had blank slate main characters. I don't think that it was the wrong idea to give blank MCs to MysMes or Ssum, since the games work better that way, but I'm not sure why they made such a decision when they've shown just how good they are at writing main characters. I am able to relate to the main character, Eri, throughout the entire game and she is one of my favourite characters I have ever seen

About the love interests, I can also see each of them as human as well, and I see how human all of their interactions with each other are as well. I believe that something Mystic Messenger wrote really well was the characters' relationships with each other. In both Nameless and Dandelion, the love interests are all stuck in their situation and really wouldn't rather be friends otherwise; whereas MysMes' characters' relationships are all intentional yet also quite nuanced and complicated. Nameless' relationships, I think, aren't quite as complex as MysMes', but they are still very complex in their own ways and incredibly interesting to explore, especially between that of Yuri and Tei

In terms of tone and rating, I'd say this game has lower stakes (takes place in a high school rather than in a cult) but the yanderes of this game are more obsessive and violent, even outside of bad endings. I'm not an expert on otome in general, so I don't know for full, but some people say that Nameless has more extreme yanderes, while other people say that the yanderes aren't bad enough? Idk, I'm not an otome fan, I'm just a hardcore Nameless/Cheritz fan so I can't say much. I just know that it's more yandere than MysMes, but not nearly as yan as Dead Wishes (which is also available on Steam and I do recommend)

The plot and story I'd say is God tier. Better than MysMes imo. I love how the plot comes to a climax in the last route, then we play the secret endings and resolve the main conflict. A lot of people say that the ending is way too abrupt and ambiguous, but I think it does wrap up the story really nicely. If you've got nothing else about the story to say, then why continue talking. The ending was perfect the way they left it, idk where else they could've gone with it. Plus, it leaves plenty of room for interpretation and plenty of room for theories and fanfics

The translation is fine with a couple inconsistencies. A few of them can take away from an emotional scene but it's never bothered me. The game is fully voice acted and I think that every single one of the voice actors put their entire soul into their performances in this game. I especially want to praise Lance's, Tei's and Red's voice actors. Even if you just listened to the audio without reading the translation, you can just hear the emotion so much. They all did so well

EXPERIENCE/HOW LONG: I think I’ve been writing on tumblr for the last ... lemme look at my first blog ... may 2013? i did a bit of writing on devART before moving here from 2011-2012, so roughly 10-11 years of RPing experience.

BEST EXPERIENCE: i’ve had so many good experiences!!!! and i’ve met a lot of dope friends thru tumblr (shoutout to @afacere​​​ for chugging along with me for so many years). it’s hard to pinpoint any specific experiences cause i value rlly everything and everyone that has helped me develop my muses (esp with sylvie) cause you guys helped to shape them into the muse they are today.

RP PET PEEVES: it’s funny cause i know i have them, but i’m blanking out so hard on what they are. thankfully it’s not as much of an issue any more (esp with the new dashboard view u can use on any blog so it mitigates it), but i remember the days super tiny container themes were the jam and everything was ant-sized and im like ... please. 11px or 12px sized font won't kill you or ruin your aesthetic, nor will 500/540px sized posts (or even 400+). i distinctly remember coming across a blog way back in the day where the container size was unironically like... 300x200 or something and i’m like ... why tho.

MUSE PREFERENCES FOR ANGST / FLUFF / SMUT: uhh, fluff? i do love me angst, but since my muses flow on their own, maintaining angst is hard and sylvie is very much not a muse that’s prone to any form of sadness or depression, so those threads are very few and far between. i enjoy more fluffy/silly stuff overall cause it makes me feel good!!!

Okay I’m a Billy Hargrove fan willing to make a cross tag post [which turned into a 5 part series ] discussing how to treat and respect fans in the strangers things community. I’m hoping to showcase behavior we shouldn’t engage in when we see someone who likes a character who we dislike. I’m also hoping to start a respectful discussion to help anyone on tumblr who doesn’t understand Billy fans but wants to understand them.Let’s hope this doesn’t become overwhelming 😳

Don’t worry I also want to be respectful to those who don’t like Billy because you have ur reasons to not like his character and connect to fiction however you want to connect to fiction. I want to make things clear I’m not trying to make a moral condemnation of anyone who has engaged in the behavior I critic in this post. There are much bigger problems in the world but I’m so passionate about this one because I’m a person of color who connects to Billy’s story arc and the way some antis treat Billy fans is just cruel. Billy fans are real people who exist and their stories have real life consequences. Online harassment in fandom is not excusable because it is still harassment.

Assumptions and cruel judgments of Billy fans

In this Twitter post someone makes the assertion that being a Billy Hargrove fan is a red flag. I’m aware that this is not a tumblr user but I have seen some of this sentiment on tumblr. I will begin by criticizing this post because someone being a fan of a fictional character doesn’t make them and inherent threat to anybody’s personhood. I get that the person who posted this may even agree with what I just argued, that Billy fans aren’t a real life threat, but that’s not what is being communicated at all when someone reads this especially when a fan of Billy reads this. And if someone out there does believe this for one reason or another I’m going to continue to dispute your claim. Some Billy fans might engage in problematic behavior but to hold a layer of apprehension towards all fans of a character because of this might be something you need to reevaluate. Making a moral judgment on real human beings because they like a character is not okay especially if you don’t even know the reasoning.

Just because someone likes a character that might be a mass murderer in fiction doesn’t mean that now they support massacres, correct? Same logic applies here if someone does interpret Billy as racist but still likes his character that does not mean they think racism in the real world is okay ( or bullying, harassment, or anti feminism either) and that does not mean they can’t organize against real world problems effectively.

As a Harringrove shipper I can only speak for myself and say I could give less of a fuck if Billy is “good” or “bad”. That’s doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to smash king Steve. That’s also doesn’t mean he can’t be queer and it doesn’t mean I can’t like the ship. And it doesn’t mean that I can’t connect to Billy on a disastrously queer level ( got that phrasing from a grade A post on this hell site)

Believing Billy can see the errors in his ways and can heal and become a “good” person… doesn’t have to be a byproduct of being a shipper. it can just be a read someone has of a character so “anon” no disrespect to ya but your thinking is wrong.

Fine some Billy fans ignore the shit he did… but that’s not inherently bad. Fans can headcannon Billy into a completely different portrayal than what we see on screen and love him I don’t see a problem with that especially when they aren’t excusing any abuse.

The Duffers brothers failed at exploring racism in their show if that was their intention. Point blank period since this is a form of art it can be interpreted in many different perspectives. Especially if it is not tied to any explicit themes on racism in the text. I interpret Billy’s actions as racist but no one has to do so if they connect to the story in a different manner. I felt the weight of Billy’s “ certain type of people” comment. However it was only and implication not a confirmation. Stop being mad at people for not interpreting something left up to interpretation.The writers didn’t explicitly tackle the issue they wanted to tackle.

This might be helpful 2 know …I interpret Billy as racist, I’m also black, I also Stan Billy Hargrove.

Okay here we go… no-one has to interpret Billy’s actions as being racist so why assume that if someone likes Billy it’s because they’re racist just like him… if they don’t even think he’s racist. I hope that makes sense

I think Billy is racist 4 sure the story flows better for me that way and it makes a lot of sense to me. Now let’s talk about racism in the real world … racism is something that is taught. Racism is a big large system we are all conditioned into. Racism is something we must all unlearn in the real world. So in the fictional world I think there is an entertaining plot line that Billy can go down and unlearn his racism +stop beating up on children Billy 🤦🏿‍♀️. Because I see that potential growth that is why I like his character. Oh and no one ever talks about this but I head cannon Billy as fat phobic because of the “lard- ass” comment so my version of Billy is working through that as well.

I don’t wanna sound all high and mighty I can understand why someone might express this sentiment. I’m not gonna demonize someone who is black like me (black people have dealt with that enough). I also get why you would not even like Billy if you interpret him as racist. [Someone could have the same analysis of Billy as me and still not like him because how we connect to fiction is somewhat irrational.] I would just ask that we don’t jump to conclusions about anyone’s politics because of how they like a fictional character. That we treat other members in our fandom with respect.

I can never and will never excuse racism because if I do I would be turning a blind eye on a system that kills my loved ones. Your allowed to not like Billy Hargrove honestly I don’t see any Billy fans who care? Stop making crude assumptions about people who do Stan Billy Hargrove ur “ joke” is a hurtful misrepresentation.

yes, I do. I cross-post on ao3 and wattpad. though, wattpad is very unkempt and i don't tend to favor it, so if you don't read tumblr fics, then you can most likely find it on my ao3- which i greatly prefer!

pfft, absolutely not.

i will always try and include in my m.list if a fic will be a series or not. if it's not listed as a series or doesn't have multiple chapters outlined on my m.list post, then chances are it will not contain any more parts than i map out (although chapters can fluctuate if i go overboard with a series, but i will always address and update the m.list if that is the case).

Will this one-shot/drabble be contined?

referring to above, if the story in question is listed as finished or there are no further update links mapped out on my m.list then the answer is no. there's always a chance i could do drabbles based on a past fic, but it is rare. so, if it's labeled as finished, then it is and i have no plans to continue. this also applies to any discontinued fics that may occur in the future.

Do you know when xxx will be updated?

point blank: the answer will always be no. even if i set a date i'd like for something to be done and finished and posted, scheduling for me never seems to properly work out. and do not- i repeat- do NOT demand updates from me. i've dropped fics in the past from people demanding continuations. if you're curious about the progress of a story, feel free to ask politely, but if you're going to demand or ask me 'when' it'll be up without so much of thinking about how i feel, i will not answer you. be patient , it will all come when it comes.

Do you write R-rated content? // will xx containt smut?

although i have written it in the past for other stories in other fandoms, i do not write smut frequently at all. i have written maybe 4 fics in the past including smut and i can say without a doubt i hated every moment of it lol. i'm simply not comfortable writing it. i do try and challenge myself to try on occasion, but even then it's not full-on raw dogging it- just suggestive content bc i just can't bring myself to write sex scenes- soz. any suggestive content will always be tagged in warning(s), but i will not write what i'm uncomfortable with

additionally: the only R-rated content I will usually include will be graphic violence/death or perhaps any future obsessive/yandere-like themes or brief nude scenes in fics. still no sex tho

what inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on): well i have like 10 muses currently on this blog, and i think i talked about my inspo for each of them in another dash game earlier. but um. lucius and íllra were inspired by various things, like the game ‘little hope’, norse myth, the devil, demons, etc. ryen were inspired by horizon: zero dawn, detroit: become human and other “human passing androids” stories. ciarán were inspired by horror / necromancy themes, mixed with pushing daisies, and just a need to write a muse that i could relate to in some ways. aaand my canon muses were all just me watching their respective movie(s) and/or shows, and going “yeah, i like this muse. i wanna write this muse.”

what are your favorite aspects of your current muse: for lucius, my favorite aspect is just his overall complexity. there’s just so much to explore, not only in regards to his traumas and how that’s affecting him, but also just him as a person and how much he’s changed and could still change. for michael, my favorite aspect is that he’s a moody dumbass adult teenager. lmao, no, but in all seriousness, my favorite aspect is that he’s such an ordinary lad that makes mistakes and gets involved with the wrong kinds of people, but really has a good heart and is very emotional behind the moody outbursts. he’s a good lad and he’s hilarious. for íllra, my favorite aspect is how he’s this very powerful, very ancient, evil deity who hides behind a very classy, professional facade of a psychiatrist, but once you get to know the real him, you’ll start to realize, he’s actually a mischievous little shit deep down for jackson, my favorite aspects is how he’s such a charming, manipulative, sly, selfish, greedy little bastard. for thomas, my favorite aspect is that he is such a pure, lost boi who just wants to find someone he can relate to ;-; for raymond, my favorite aspect is that he’s one of those characters who has all the potential to be a good person, but who keeps making the wrong decisions and letting his own fear stop him from doing what is right, and ends up becoming what he hates. for maximus, my favorite aspect is that he’s a villain with the ability to mind control, he could literally get pretty much whatever he wants, but 8/10 times, he decides not to use his powers because it’s “boring” lmao. gotta respect that even tho he’s a lil shit. also, he reminds me a lot of loki in like being mischievous and unpredictable for jonathan, my favorite aspect is that he is kind of very relatable to me, which i doubt is a good sign bc he’s a villain, but like... just the whole, growing up living in almost constant fear, and living with abuse is something i relate to a lot. for ciarán, my favorite aspect is the fact that he has these powers, and could use them (be it for good or evil,) but he decides not to 9/10 times because it’s exactly his powers that led to him losing both his parents, and he sees them more as a curse than anything. in a way, he keeps living in fear of himself and blames himself for something that was an accident and i hurt ;-; for ryen, my favorite aspect is that his personality develops based around what people he’s around. his programming is made to have him pick up habits and personality traits similar to how a child would develop their own personality traits as they grow up based on their surroundings. so, depending on each thread and interaction, ryen could act and behave vastly different to another thread and interaction. he’s a blank slate, basically!

favorite types of threads: plotted threads. plotted threads all around. especially the ones that allow us to explore the human mind and to shows different sides to our characters. i’ve always been a big fan of realism, or fantasy mixed with realism. when things become too cartoon-y and non-serious i kinda lose interest, idk, it’s just not my cup of tea ig.

hey bud!! i’m gonna bump my more in-depth response to this under a read more, just because in GENERAL we want to keep this blog more specifically focused on ambition rather than the Thinly Linked Source Material of yore. but i will say overall, i think you can tell how we felt about that storyline based on how the dynamics of AAA have panned out – that is to say, that love triangle does not at all exist, even a whiff, in aaa bc it never needed to exist… ever. lmao

so just quick, regardless of what ship you most prefer, i think everyone agrees the love triangle was not needed. for me, as a writer, it felt like a waste of story and screen time when there was so much other cool stuff to be building and focusing on (which is a shame this all happened like it did because triangle aside, i think mj and co. were doing some great work in S2. like that was the highest peak of the show for me… and yet, also included the lowest…)

i also agree that the texas stuff should have served to give backstory on lucas and zay, not… create… that. you may not know this if you’re just finding us through ambition, but i was an original hardcore lucas stan, and full disclosure my love for him (and then, by extension, rl) is honestly the reason i still even care about it to this day and why ambition even exists (in the sense that if i cared and loved lucas less, i would’ve stopped caring or thinking about this silly show, and es and i would have never been prompted to discuss what became ambition). so that was something i really wanted, more about him as a character outside of rm relation, and i totally understand that he was supporting and not The Main Character, but we could’ve gotten more. we could’ve. i basically filled in the blanks when i wrote my end of gmw master fic, gravity on the open road. (honestly, it’s really interesting to go back and skim through gotor and be here 3 years later and just see what seeds really blossomed… like the lucas dedication… my overall impression of what’s at the core of rl… the appearance of dylan and asher who 3 years later have grown into basically my own characters and now are my favorite people in the world… yeah)

overall, what i kind of thought mj was gonna do was dig deeper on the fear riley had of becoming jack and rachel and thus losing touch with lucas if they dared be romantic, and she didn’t want to lose him as a friend – and with her kinda pushing maya at him, that piece made sense to me in that context. i think there was a LOT they could’ve explored there that fits with mj’s common themes and also is helpful for like… young viewers to process as they’re starting to determine what their own feelings are in this crazy world. on the other side of that, i thought that maya’s Emotions towards lucas with the bull that she was confused about were gonna be like… feelings of genuine Care in terms of like friendship. because she had been clowning him for two years straight, so that would be a major moment for her of like oh wait shit i really do care about this nerd and that’s shocking when my whole world for so long has been farkle and riley and i’ve never let anyone else in… and i think the confusion around that made sense, but making it romantic, and THEN retconning and making it her turning into riley……, there was no sense to that GFJDKLG. like ships aside i think everyone agrees that the “i became riley” explanation made no sense LOLLLLLL. but also i really do think the fandom’s consumption and then spin on all this stuff made everything way worse, like just the story itself isn’t HORRIBLE, but how the fandom twisted everything in existence made it way more awful.

anyway, that’s basically what i thought it should’ve been like. back in my former existence, i wrote a post about how i would’ve ended the triangle in gm new years here (which i believe was the original plan until uriah was injured? to end it there, not like the way i wrote it lmao), and then here’s a general post about what i would’ve changed about the show that i wrote like… a year ago? so with a bit more distance than right after the show ended. hopefully that answers your question!

but yeah. we really don’t think of ambition as a replica of gmw at ALL, and that’s partially why lmao

Happy New Year 2019~!!

I was late to posting this in this blog but happy new year to each and every one of you! I sincerely hope you guys have an awesome year ahead! ♡

I know I don’t write as much as the other lovely blogs out there, but each time I post I get so much love and positive feedback from you all and I just hnggghnbvfdrtyujbv. Thank you so so much! I really don’t think my writing is good enough but it makes me happy to see so much love; only one of the reasons why I am fond of this fandom!

Now, one of my resolutions for 2019 is to write more often! My schedules and my penchant for procrastinating does not really help at all but for this year I will try my best! I revamped my masterlist that way so that I could look at it and have the urge to fill up the blanks haha. 

I am hyped to write more for Ikemen Revolution as well!  God knows what will happen to me once Ikemen Vampire comes out lmao. 

I have so much plans for this blog that I hope you guys will look forward to! 

First off, yes, I will continue From Death, With Love. I was really doubtful about the whole thing but then I received word that people like it so I will continue it! Now I regret stopping at the actual midpoint of the series but it’ll start moving again after I get used to the fatal attack of homework when classes start tomorrow HAHA.

Next up is kind of an apology but I will probably never stop writing angst. I’m starting to think that I’m incapable of writing anything else lmao. Due to this, I have already planned an angst theme-based individual fic series starring everyone. And yes, both Ikemen Sengoku and Ikemen Revolution. (two games = two different themes tho) That comes out sometime later after I finish FDWL.

Also, I barely have any idea about Ikemen Vampire but I’m sure af I will jump at it the moment it’s out and high chances it’s going to be another option on this blog AHAHAHAHA. I won’t guarantee anything just yet but knowing myself and my shitty self-control, well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have plenty more to say but I don’t want to make big ass promises and not do it because that’s what I usually do and I don’t want you guys to wait so much only to be disappointed lmao

But here’s a bit of bad news, I won’t be taking requests at the moment to give a little time to at least prepare for all this. I have one more coming up, and after that I won’t be writing requests for a while. Just want to have a little start up before being a normal writing blog and start taking requests lmao.  

Then again, thank you so much for sticking with me this past year! Even though I don’t respond as much, I see every like & comment and it always makes my day. I want you all to know that I appreciate you! Thank you so much!
