I know this may seem random, and that’s bc it is, but I was thinking about my aro journey and this blog played a bit of a part in me accepting my aro identity. I don’t think I had even followed any aro blogs beforehand (and i know no one irl that is aspec) that were so explicitly aromantic and seeing you be open about it with your fav media and just on the blog in general led me to want to tentatively try on the label for myself and now I can’t imagine not identifying as such. So thank you for being aro and proud lol, it really helped me. Your aro swag is real! and I hope this was okay to share

oh my god?? i can't emphasize enough how much this means to me 😭 just the other day, I was telling a friend how my first exposure to the idea of aromanticism was. not the best. and it resulted in me forming some really negative ideas about being aro that I had to work through before finally accepting myself. now I'm extremely proud of being aro, and that's thanks to the aro blogs I eventually found. the fact that I spared someone the same struggle I had means so much :') I'm so glad I was able to encourage you to try out the label for yourself! that's extremely meaningful to me! that's half the reason I'm so loudly aro on this blog tbh, and I'm glad I made a positive impact on you. thank you so much for sharing, this made my day :')
