#aka my male coworkers literally ripping difficult/heavy stuff out of my hands and leaving me to do the easiest possible jobs like washing up#and cleaning the handwashing sink#and i just kind of. let them. lol#like yeah; ya girl is absolutely capable of mopping a floor and carrying a ton of boxes and unpacking an enormous cup delivery#but if they’ve assumed i’m too incompetent and pretty to do it…. fuck it. who am i to disabuse them of that notion#it’s one of my older coworkers specifically…. there’s 100% an unconscious (or conscious) bias there.#like there was no other reason for him to take gerry off hot food and make him unpack the delivery LMAO#but what do i care. i have my period right now and straight up didn’t want to do it#i will 100% pull my weight if needed but anyone who can be bamboozled by me taking my hair down and going 🥺#can definitely mop a floor. idc#personal
