#i went to the obgyn today and got formally diagnosed with PCOS 🥳🥳🥳#I just have to get back to a normal weight for myself and take some non estrogen b/c and things should even out#truly cannot state enough how fast and easy this process was with female healthcare providers who listen and know what PCOS is#I lost my period in October and had my first PCP appointment in December#had a second appointment in February and an ultrasound two days later and got into the obgyn today#crazy what’s possible when the healthcare system actually functions#I was a little nervous bc the reviews for this doc said she made people feel uncared for#but she just talks fast and is from New England lol#also my hottest and most cancellable take: losing weight to address hormonal conditions is evidence backed care#like half the negative reviews were about here mentioning weight#as a doctor who specializes in fertility and PCOS….my guy please be so for real right now
