Translation:
Jehan: "Revolution without the guillotine", how I've longed to hear that phrase!
Jehan: Had you been there for the French Revolution, the great poet André Chénier would not have been decapitated
Jehan: I wished to convey that splendor, so I wrote a poem.
Jehan: It is called "The Poppy: Blooming in the Snow"
Grantaire: You are all like the sons of the French Revolution
Grantaire: The rights of the people, the Republic, democracy, civilization, progress, religion, revolution
Grantaire: What's the point of such things?
Grantaire: There are other things to learn: The best coffee is to be had at the Cafe Lemblin, a wonderful chicken dish to be had at Mother Sauget's
Grantaire: Good lasses at the Ermitage on the Boulevard du Maine, that sort of thing.
Courfeyrac: Then why did you follow me?
Grantaire: ...ah... I don't know either
Grantaire: ....... hello~
Grantaire: My apologies for the mess
Grantaire: Forgive me, I am Grantaire
Grantaire, in whom writhed doubt, loved to watch faith soar in Enjolras.
He had need of Enjolras.
That chaste, healthy, firm, upright, hard, candid nature charmed him, without his being clearly aware of it,
and without the idea of explaining it to himself having occurred to him.

Happy New Year! I hope you had a great holiday season :)
I do think that recently there's been some frowning upon large chaptered work/short story collections à la Wishes, especially those with lots of tags, after the fiasco with "Sexy Times with WangXian" last year; AO3 has not forbidden it though -- just encouraged separately-posted works instead IIRC.
That said though, I like the idea of a collection (with chapters) for each pairing or some other kind of separation by concept, timeline/era, etc -- just some ideas here, I'm sure there are endless ways to categorize all the awesome fic you've written over the course of the past... decade? decade and a half? -- to help with organization and looking for fics. You've written so many vignettes in Wishes, which I love to just go through and binge read, but when looking for something specific... That's a bit much to sift through sometimes! 😅
I know also I've seen fics on AO3 listed as in multiple series simultaneously too, so you could definitely have larger collections (as in "series") of collections (one with chapters) or of fics/vignettes (if you choose to post them all separately) that are sequentially related in their own series too. ...I hope this paragraph wasn't too confusing! I'll be waiting to see whatever you decide, and hopefully it isn't too much work for you on the backend!
Yes, exactly. There are a bunch of pairings I can't tag because the tag limits. I totally understand, but it's not fair to people looking for that pairing.
I've decided to post the longish ones separately. I'm still deciding on the short ones. This way, individual pairings/warnings/summaries will be available. And readers could use the pairing filters on my works to only show what they're looking for.
It'll probably take quite a while, but I'll survive. 😊
And thank you, Yuki! My New Year went very well. 💖
