Standout moments from "Les Mis" recordings: 1988-1990
My Les Mis watch- and listen-through in honor of the musical's 40th anniversary continues. Now I've reached the end of the '80s and the beginning of the '90s.
Drawing inspiration from @professorspork's Wicked Punctum Project, I'm choosing specific moments from recordings (video or audio, official or bootleg) that stand out the most in my mind, and writing down my thoughts about them.
Complete Symphonic Recording
Tumblr media
Anthony Warlow and Michael Ball’s “One more day before the storm…”/“Do I follow where she goes?” in “One Day More."
The CSR was my first Les Mis recording and it’s still the “default” version I tend to hear in my head when I think of the songs. It was almost impossible for me to choose a single standout moment from this recording. But after much internal debate, I finally chose Marius and Enjolras’s counterpoint in “One Day More.” Anthony Warlow’s Enjolras sings his call to arms with such burnished, dignified, stentorian fervor – the spirit of revolution embodied in powerful sound. And in counterpoint is Michael Ball’s Marius, with his equally rich and powerful yet “syrupy” (in a good way) and oh-so-emotional voice, singing of his conflict between love and duty. Their contrasting voices capture the two characters’ contrasting personalities in a beautiful and thrilling way. The moment is only made more exciting by chorus entering behind Warlow’s voice with “The time is now! The day is here” at the end of the passage, and by the symphonic orchestrations.
Honorable Mentions:
*Philip Quast’s militaristic, staccato “You have no rights! Come with me, 24601!” in “Confrontation.” No other Javert has ever sung that line so perfectly, not even Quast himself in the 10th Anniversary Concert.
*Ross McCall’s little cries, gasps, and struggling, pained voice as the mortally wounded Gavroche.
*Barry James’ wild, psychotic laughter as Thénardier as the end of “Dog Eats Dog.”
Original Vienna Cast Recording
Tumblr media
Sona MacDonald’s sweet, gentle “Come to Me.”
If I weren’t specifying moments, I’d say that Sona MacDonald’s Fantine in general is the highlight of this recording. At age 27, she was younger than most other early Fantines, with a lighter, sweeter voice than was usually heard in the role at the time. This makes her capture the tragic youthfulness and vulnerability of Hugo’s Fantine, which more mature-voiced “leading lady” actresses can’t quite do. Of the specific moments in her performance, I finally settled on her death as the standout. Her voice is so gentle and tender, and of the Fantines I’ve heard so far, she’s the first Fantine from a replica production to sing the final note gently rather than belting it. (Riki Gal in the Israeli cast and Kútvölgyi Erzsébet in Hungary sang it gently too, but those were both non-replica productions.) In the musical’s early years, Fantine’s last moments seem to have typically been played as somewhat tortured – which admittedly is true to her death in the novel – but this version creates a sense of beautiful and well-deserved peace.
1989 Australia Day Concert
Tumblr media
Anthony Warlow's Enjolras in "The Final Battle."
I’m sure that Warlow’s Enjolras is one of the main draws to this filmed concert. We all know and love him from the Complete Symphonic Recording and here we get to see him! His whole performance is outstanding: so impassioned yet stately and dignified, a true “marble lover of liberty,” and of course his voice is magnificent. But I’d say that his standout moment is “The Final Battle,” where even in concert format, we can tell that this is where Enjolras snaps. Up to this point, his passion has been a contained fire, fierce yet not wild. But after seeing Gavroche die and knowing death is imminent for himself and all his friends too, the breaks come off, and he ferociously roars “LET US DIE FACING OUR FOES!!! MAKE THEM BLEED WHILE WE CAN!!” and “…until the earth IS FREEEEE!!!” This change at the end is much more effective than if he had spent the whole barricade sequence yelling and being unhinged (e.g. like David Burt in the OLC bootlegs).
Honorable mentions (good):
*Marina Prior’s facial expressions as Cosette, especially in “A Heart Full of Love” and as she fibs to Valjean in “Attack on Rue Plumet.” She’s just so adorable and seems so young and sweetly awkward. Even though she was 27, she’s the first Cosette so far whom I can fully believe is a teenage girl.
*The raw, anguished passion of Normie Rowe's "If I die, let me die!" in "Bring Him Home." I don't think I've ever heard another Valjean put as much into that line.
Honorable mentions (questionable):
*John Diedrich’s ghoulish face makeup as Javert.
*The fact that there are no costume changes for the ensemble, and the men all wear their student costumes, even in their earlier roles like the Bishop, the Foreman, or Bamatabois. As a result, it looks as if the Amis de l’ABC labor in a chain gang, buy Valjean’s soul for God, persecute Fantine, carouse at Thénardier's inn, etc.
*The fireworks in the sky that represent the gunfire at the end “The Final Battle” – that’s right, a brutal mass slaughter is represented by a display of fireworks, which inspire the audience to break into applause, as if they were applauding the revolutionaries’ deaths.
1989 London audio bootleg (Peter Karrie as Jean Valjean)
Tumblr media
Jacinta Whyte’s fierce, growly “JUUUST the old man and THE GIRL!!” in “Attack on Rue Plumet.”
With this bootleg, we hear the role of Éponine shifting decisively away from the original Frances Ruffelle model. Jacinta Whyte’s voice is clear, warm, and slightly brassy yet beautiful, without a trace of the “kittenish waif” sound that has defined most Éponine voices so far. And she doesn’t sound as if she’s playing the character as a kittenish waif either. While of course the previous Éponines have also been fierce and defiant in “Attack on Rue Plumet,” this performance takes that scene to a new level. As she belts out her defiance with a snarl in her voice (and follows it with an impressive scream too), it's clear that this Éponine is no broken bird, but a true fighter who can take care of herself on the streets. In the past I’ve head some fans credit Lea Salonga with being the first actress to make Éponine strong and feisty rather than waif-like, but they obviously never heard this one!
Honorable Mentions:
*Michael Cantwell’s annoyed, half-growled “Marius, you’re late!” as Enjolras in “The ABC Café.”
*A very young Mario Frangoulis as Marius just can’t get the lyrics to “A Heart Full of Love” quite right! First, he sings “A heart full of you” when it should have been “…of song,” which probably adds to the intense embarrassment with which he sings the next line, “I’m doing everything all wrong!” Then, much worse, he sings “Your name is Marius Pontmercy” instead of “My name…” :)
Original Stockholm Cast Recording
Tumblr media
Karin Glenmark’s urgency and Tommy Körberg’s gentleness in “Come to Me.”
This is just a 21-track highlights recording, but I still managed to find a small standout moment. In “Come to Me,” Karin Glenmark’s Fantine belts “Look M’sieur, where all the children play!” (or rather its Swedish equivalent) in such a delirious, desperate tone, but then Tommy Körberg’s Valjean soothes her by singing “Be at peace, be at peace evermore” (or rather its Swedish equivalent) with utter softness and gentleness. Their contrasting delivery of these two lines perfectly capture the torments of Fantine and Valjean’s compassionate efforts to comfort and help her. Incidentally, I’ve just learned that Tommy Körberg voiced the Beast in the Swedish dub of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. While this album doesn’t convey much of his capacity for the Beast’s initial rage and ferocity– it unfortunately cuts “Valjean’s Soliloquy” and “Confrontation” – it most definitely conveys how lovely he must have been as the gentle, selflessly loving Beast in the later part of the movie.

My dude. I have Many Thoughts about Sunset Boulevard and especially that prod with Sarah Brightman. And I have been looking for people to flail over it with. Ahahahaahah.
@phantomunmasked (ノ^_^)ノ Same dude, same! I'd love to hear your thoughts!
I'll start the ball rolling I guess! Hmm…where to start? Think I'll do this in bullet points, makes for quicker and easier reading! Heh!
Pros:
The set, the set, THE SET! Namely, Norma D.'s mansion, I was just gawking at and admiring the mansion a good amount! I think I was/am in love with the mansion set a little too much! (≧▽≦)
The music (but of course!), not just the showstopper songs, I like the entire soundtrack, pretty much!
“Sunset Boulevard” as performed by Tim Draxl; I've seen/heard several versions of SB (online) before, but I think I've found a new favourite in Tim's rendition! My opinion of some other SB performances thus far range from too saccharine sweet and totally wrong for the emotion/tone of the song, to overly harsh and overacted.
The overall strong supporting cast. (because the leading lady failed to impress me much)
Tim Draxl and Ashleigh Rubenach's onstage chemistry; to be frank, I usually don't pay too much attention to Joe and Betty scenes (even for the film version because well honestly, J & B's relationship is —designed to be— not as captivating as N & J's, as in the “can't take your eyes off a train wreck” level of captivating!), but I guess seeing live people on stage helped to draw a closer connection to these characters!
Sarah's at the perfect age to play Norma and considering her personal history, a near perfect casting choice for Norma Desmond, going solely on physical looks and aura alone. (now if only her acting & singing were as compatible…)
Cons:
Regrettably, Sarah Brightman herself, she has never been known for her acting (and in my opinion, her “acting” still hasn't changed much since her Phantom days) and her soprano-ish singing style (I felt, as have a lot of others it seems) is just not suitable for the role of Norma Desmond.
Admittedly, I went into this familiar enough with Sarah's unique style of “acting” and singing so I may not be able to give a fair opinion on her performance.
Let me tell you what my cousin —whom I went to watch with— who had until then never watched any version of Sunset Boulevard, and had only heard of Sarah by reputation but otherwise completely new to witnessing a Sarah Brightman performance, felt about Sarah and her Norma Desmond:
Cousin: She sure moves her hands around a lot!
(in regards to Sarah's tendency to wave her hands —in typical Sarah fashion— each time she sings)
Cousin: I don't quite get what she was singing at times?
(regarding Sarah's often unclear enunciation during her songs, if I wasn't already familiarised with Norma Desmond's numbers, I wouldn't have gotten what Sarah was singing at times either!)
Cousin: Her gaze is kind of scary! [in her exact words if you can read Chinese, 「她的眼神有點恐怖!」]
(regarding Sarah's “acting” style, which is a tendency to stare unblinkingly, like a deer caught in the headlights, even in moments that did not call for that look!)
Cousin: She's very pitiful! [「她好可憐喔!」]
(regarding Sarah's Norma, remarking this one time during the Norma at Paramount Studios scene cutting a lonesome figure seated at Cecil B. DeMille's director's chair while quite ignored by everyone around her, and again at the end when Norma went completely off the rails)
So yeah, I think my cousin's sentiments are about as unbiased as can be (unlike me, whose views may be clouded having at least seen the original 1950 film and also bootlegs of SB —referring to both Sunset and Sarah! Heh!— performances online over the years) and even she couldn't help noticing Sarah's inability to sing without distractingly waving her hands about, and her less than stellar acting (and singing, enunciation wise) ability…heh!
Well to be fair, Sarah did manage to make my cousin (and I) feel sorry for Norma Desmond in the end, which I'd consider a success for Sarah! Because we are supposed to feel somewhat sorry for Norma Desmond, aren't we?
Can't say the same for the guy who sat a couple of rows behind us though, who laughed really obnoxiously loudly, sometimes inappropriately as well, at scenes where no one else was! 🙄
All in all, we enjoyed ourselves very much (my cousin a little more than me, because she went in with zero expectations! :D) and despite my seemingly dismissal of Sarah Brightman, I'd like to emphasize that I don't hate her (not as a person nor as a performer) even though I'd have preferred someone else as Norma, Sarah is still very watchable and has a natural charisma that holds her performance together in the end. I guess I can say Sarah is an acquired taste! Heh!
And if not for her name, I doubt this production would have been greenlit at all (I've read that each time a full staging of Sunset Boulevard is revived, it often ends up losing money —unless really big names are attached to it that may give it a chance, but even then, no guarantees, as it seems to be with this run— because it's just that expensive to produce and bring on tour) so, very grateful for her joining and making this production possible!
My cousin and I were lucky enough to see this staging twice too (first was when it just opened here not long, and the second time was the day after you did) so we can say we feel Sarah did improve a bit in-between the times we went to see her! (◔‿◔)
So how did you feel about this production and Sarah Brightman? (≧▽≦)

These are hilarious and so true. I hope it's okay if I add some of my own funny little things from when I was a baby Pink Floyd fan:
• The way I first got into them was kind of funny. My mom bought me a DSOtM shirt because it looked cool, but I was very serious about the idea that I had to be a fan of a band to wear one of their T-shirts. So I decided to search up their music on my school Chromebook so I would be able to name at least a few songs. This literal interpretation of a shirt was the canon event that lead to my most intense, long-lived, and iconic special interest.
•My very first song was Wish You Were Here. For some reason, upon listening to it, I thought they sounded like "the Beatles but American."
•Listened to most of their songs for the first time on Scratch, a coding website, because my school Chromebook had YouTube and all music sites blocked and I didn't have a phone yet.
•Drew the DSOtM cover (or "Pink Floyd triangle," as I called it) on absolutely everything.
•Found a hot GIF of David Gilmour (the one from Saucerful of Secrets) on my school Chromebook and turned the brightness all the way down so nobody would see what I was watching.
•Creepily whispered the full names of all the band members to myself as I was falling asleep so I would remember them.
•Creepily whispered the lyrics to Comfortably Numb on the playground while trying to memorize it.
•Wrote down all the album names from memory and drilled it until I could rattle them all off in order.
•Shipped David and Syd, for some reason.
•Did my big 7th grade history project about Pink Floyd and embarrassingly mispronounced the name of one of their songs in front of 2 separate judges.
•Played DSOtM and Meddle nearly every day on my crappy suitcase record player.
•Literally cried and prayed while watching the P.U.L.S.E. DVD for the first time because it was so good. I think it actually made me more religious.
•Listened to Pink Floyd while watching those 10 hour fractal zoom ins. I would do this whenever I wanted to zone out. It probably looked weird.
•Downloaded Pink Floyd smut from Deviantart ON MY FAMILY COMPUTER. My mom found it and I tried to claim i did it on accident.
•After that little incident, I discovered incognito mode so I could read all the Pink Floyd fanfiction I wanted on the family computer early in the morning.
•Downloaded crunchy bootleg recordings on my mp3 player and listened to them constantly. One of them was an alternate version of Keep Talking that I've never been able to find again.
•When I finally did get a phone, I filled up half the storage space with Pink Floyd photos.
•Wanted to draw the band members, but couldn't draw humans, so I traced and copied drawings from a popular Pink Floyd artist and tried to pass them off as my own. Thankfully, I never posted any of them and they remained imprisoned in my tiny Pusheen journal.
•Wrote Pink Floyd lyrics on my edgy Wings of Fire fanart to make it even edgier.
•Wrote David Gilmour x Michael Jackson fanfiction with my friend on - you guessed it - my school Chromebook.
•Skipped around the Live at Pompeii recording to find the shirtless David parts, screen recorded them, and posted them in a privated YouTube video.
•Cried about how Rick and Syd were dead so many times.
•On a very different note, cried about how horny I was for David.
•Made the most boomerific YouTube comments about kids these days with their pop music and how Pink Floyd was so much better. I then made friends with another "cultured" Pink Floyd fan in the comments section until we had a falling out over the fact that they wouldn't stop posting Five Nights at Freddy's content.
•Found a recording of Oenone, aka the moaning session, on Tumblr and listened to it at 4 am while giggling in shock.
•Searched up Pink Floyd porn on my SCHOOL IPAD to see if I could find any actual, real-life NSFW videos of them. I don't know why I thought they existed or could be found, but I sure tried.
•Googled David's address on my school Chromebook and actually found one of his residences.
•Screenshotted the most atrocious Pink Floyd memes on Pinterest.
•Started beef with someone on Pink Floyd Amino because they were trying to get me into other bands and I refused. They were literally all I wanted to listen to.
•Had a phase of obsession with Ummagumma where I tried to get everyone I knew to listen to it.
I think that's everything that comes to mind. Your post made me feel so nostalgic for the good old days where I was discovering this band and having incredible brainrot about them for the first time. Thank you so much.
Calling my younger self out for all the embarrassing things they thought/did when I first started getting into Pink Floyd (I just think I was endearing albeit annoying)
Initially confused them with LED Zeppelin because for some reason my brain put them on a similar tier
Went to watch the Pulse tour DVD … promptly realised it was post-Waters, cried, shut it off immediately, and haven’t seen it since (I actually own a DVD and a VHS tape of the film…both of which were gifts actually)
Saw that Live at Pompeii gif of Roger blowing the smoke rings and just stared at it for a long while promptly falling in love
Didn’t know the Wall was a double album and just assumed the second disc was demos so I never listened to it and would only listen to half the album. Eventually I decided to play the second disc and realised how stupid I was (In the Flesh confused me)
Had an entire wall in my room dedicated to The Wall (I painted out the brick design and had these posters)
Didn’t really care much for the WYWH album (and now it’s my favourite Pink Floyd album..)
FUCKING GAVE AWAY THE IN THE PINK NICK SEDGWICK BOOK BECAUSE I WAS GOING THROUGH SOME SHIT AND ROGER WAS MAKING ME FEEL GUILTY AND HORRIBLE
Would listen to the Wall at least once a day for months on end especially while sitting alone at lunch
Used the fact that my mum desperately wanted me to make friends to go to a Roger Waters concert with this boy who had a crush on me and then promptly started trying to convert me to Catholicism once he found out I’m atheist, bisexual, and non-binary. Roger Played the Gunner’s Dream for the encore so no regrets there
Had a long and unhealthy obsession with The Final Cut and would play my LP of it at least once a day
Read something about Roger calling the rest of the band “the muffins” and promptly dubbed David “greasy muffin”…and got the rest of my online friends to join in
Wrote endless HCs with a friend about Watershend (Roger Waters x Pete Townshend)… I stand by this one. Sorry
Did a 10 minute presentation on the Wall for a history class when I was…14
Called in sick to school even though my teachers knew I was going to watch Roger Waters in concert
Found a copy of Rick Wright’s Wet Dream on vinyl at a market… had no cash in the moment … asked my friend if they could give me cash and then I’d pay them back later… my friend agreed thinking it was for food (I wasn’t trying to deceive them I promise I just didn’t communicate what that money was for as clearly as I thought I did… but I did pay them back plus a bit extra!) I did get my record tho
Went to Battersea Station…. DIDN’T REALISE IT WAS A FUCKING SHOPPING MALL ON THE INSIDE BECAUSE I FAILED TO DO MY RESEARCH AND DIDN’T EVEN ATTEMPT TO GO INSIDE BECAUSE I AM AWKWARD AS HELL… so instead I opted to awkwardly stand around the outside and check out the nearby shops (this is recent ;-;)
I used to draw and would just fill my notebook up with drawing of Pink Floyd (mostly just Roger…)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am just now remembering how much of my fanart was nose-centric
You know that common trans experience of “trying desperately to live as your assigned gender one last time so you overcompensate before you come out”… well that overlapped with my “ukulele and Syd Barrett let’s dress psychedelic” phase
Have bought way too many pieces of clothing because they remind me of something Roger wore once (I think I’ll make this into it’s own post perhaps)
That’s all I can remember for now. Just feeling nostalgic. I could make a second part of all the most recent cringe shit I’ve done. I’m not laughing at myself I’m laughing with myself. Honestly my younger self was iconic, gotta love her

no pressure at all but if you’re looking to draw more of the lihn girls I’d love to see Judith!
Tumblr media
Here's Judith Ramone!! Thanks for the request <3 I drew this while watching the lihn bootleg and guys,,, I love this musical.
This drawing is dedicated Tatiana Wechsler’s solo in the opening of Revolution Song, especially the “take a stand / hold my hand” part. It sounds so good.

The Art Process of My Header Image!
Here’s the process-post of my header image that nobody asked for. I suppose this also doubles as an insight into my art process. Enjoy!
youtube
This metal cover of the Plagues is what originally inspired the piece. Like, “This was our home, all this pain and devastation, how it tortures me inside,” You who I called brother, how could you have come to hate me so,” just really reminded me of the Drake brothers.
I came up with an entire AU where Malistaire unleashes plague after plague in order to reap enough souls to revive Sylvia. The 7 plagues would all correspond to the 7 schools of magic. Maybe I’ll type up more about that later, and if I get really good at art and learn animation, I’ll make a music video. One can dream...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the original concept sketch of the scene I was imagining in my head. I knew I wanted the Dragon Titan in there, and I also wanted the battle to take place in the nondescript destroyed colosseum that’s used in the very misleading game trailers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Those were pictures of the initial and final sketch. I wasn’t happy with the composition in the first one. There was too much emphasis on the dragon and not enough emphasis on the conflict between Cyrus and Malistaire. The Dragon Titan isn’t the immediate threat here; it’s the fact that Cyrus’s own brother hates his guts and he’ll probably have to kill him.
Tumblr media
You can’t see it in the photo, but I was watching a bootleg of Six: The Musical on my laptop while I was painting this. I was very big into Six then. While we’re on the subject, isn’t Heart of Stone oddly reminiscent of Sylvia Drake? Like, Sylvia couldn’t have been on board with Malistaire’s attempted resurrection, but she put up with it because she loved him and knew he had good intentions. Just a concept, of course.
Anyways, the bootleg was taken down due to copyright claims the next morning-I was working on this until midnight-so I felt really lucky that I got to watch it.
Tumblr media
Let’s talk materials while we’re at it! (please ignore my super nasty desk) I used a sheet of Canson XL Watercolor paper, and a set of 16-pan Sonnet watercolors. I’d just received both of them in the mail, and I honestly wasn’t sure what I was doing.
Amateur tips: use a scrap sheet of paper to test out colors before you actually paint with them, and use two jars of water; one for cleaning your brush and another for grabbing clean water to mix colors with.
I’ve seen most watercolor artists only using a few brushes. Here, I only used one, a small round one that isn’t pictured, and a larger one I only used to paint the sky. Invest in a good brush and you’ll be set!
Tumblr media
And here’s the finished piece! For finishing touches, I used a gold and silver Uniball Signo gel pen to add accents to Malistaire’s robe. In this picture, I forgot to add some details to the sashes on their robes-whoops!
This was my first time doing an elaborate illustration in a while. I’m still learning how to draw backgrounds, and buildings from different perspectives, and lightning, and, well everything, but this was super fun, and I hope I can find the motivation to make more paintings really soon.
Thanks for reading through all of that, I hope you enjoyed scrolling through my art process!

you aren’t cannon. beetlebabes is more cannon than you. at least that shit was in the musical and movie and cartoon.
Need I remind you idiots, since I have already said I'm no longer being nice to you anymore.
That I do not give a damn what you think it looked like to you in that fucked up brain of yours, it's still p*dophilia. Man it's almost sad I live this rent free in your head for existing. I just exist and your blood boils. It's cute.
Anyway, Lydia is a minor in every version.
And if you think the wedding in the movie was romantic. Man every gross man I've cringed at for being a creepo must have been true love.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But see, that's the thing you people don't get huh? Consent. Consent does not exist to you. If it did you wouldn't fight when people say that Lydia is a minor and therefore cannot consent. It doesn't click because you found something hot about shipping this developing teen with this old as fuck perv.
But oh? Is that not enough for you, you cry, begging to justify your vile ship. Allow me to humor you and go through the other versions.
In fact! I'll analyze a whole song just for you.
Tumblr media
Also please look at yet another picture of Lydia obviously not having it.
Way back when I was just ten
Simple and sweet
Everywhere, fellas would stare
Out on the street
And I felt used
Kinda confused
I would refuse to look in their eyes
But now I really love creepy old guys
This is kinda obvious, she's been preyed on before by men. So basic p*do trying to gr**m a kid scenario. But the satire to the song of course is that "it's all fine now" Which it's obviously not, she's just using this to trick him so they can send him back as an end goal.
We all do!
Gum disease
Skin like grilled cheese
Saggy old asses
(Saggy old asses)
Cute and vile
Hey baby, smile
To each girl that passes
They make me blush
(Can't get enough)
Now one of 'em loves me, wants to be mine
(That's right)
Marrying my own creepy old guy!
(I'm a creepy old guy)
This is just more playing out the satire of pretending it's okay, but with Beej chiming in because he already lacks the knowledge that this is grooming and it's not okay. Tricking him into thinking this is fine to end up killing him is a breeze.
My creepy old guy, my creepy old guy
I'm so happy I could cry
Girls may seem disgusted, but we're actually just shy
It's not uncommon that I've heard about or heard someone get told that they're just shy when a gross ass old man or someone is trying to gr**m a kid. It's gaslighting and manipulation in most cases. So for them to say that it's because they're actually just shy as part of the satire is the point.
My creepy old groom (creepy old groom)
Play that wedding tune
Hey folks, step aside
(I am older, but I'm glad I waited)
And if you've watched a bootleg, you would recall Barbara right here smiling and then turning away with eyes wide, like "this is not fucking okay" Kind of look on her face. But yeah this is another one of those phrases that you hear too often in these gross situations.
'Cause here comes the bride
I am marrying my creepy old guy
(Creepy old guy, creepy old guy, creepy old guy)
He's my creepy old guy
(Creepy old guy, creepy old guy, creepy old guy!)
Fix his hair
Get him prepared
For Armageddon
Again if you have seen a bootleg, here Lydia puts a finger to her lips and goes shhhh. Because Armageddon is Beejs death.
Sure, the groom
Crawled out of a tomb
But hey, hey, it's a wedding!
He's really fucking old guys. There is a huge age gap and this is p*dophilia.
So dim the lights
Pick up some rice
Say something nice
It's my day to shine
I'm getting hitched to my creepy old guy
(It's showtime)
Creepy old guy, creepy old guy
She's marrying a creepy old guy
Have you guys seen "Lolita"?
This is just like that, but fine
I have not seen Lolita, but I have been told it's similar to this who marriage scenario and is mega bad. Now if it were Lolita fashion, that is made to ward off men, so I assume it's a movie from what info I have.
Creepy old dude, creepy old dude
Our faith has been renewed
Now love is alive!
Wave your baby girl goodbye
I am walking down the aisle
I wanna see a tear in every eye as I pass by
I know that on the outside he's disgusting
And even on the inside, he's disgusting
This whole scenario is fucking vile. He's vile.
But I know that this time, I'm makin' it right
(Making it right, making it right!)
With my family by my side
O.M.G.
Dressed to a "T"
Fancy and formal
I found me a wife
L'chaim to life
This is so normal!
I was ignored
But now, I'm adored!
'Cause I extorted, tortured, and lied
Give it up for my underage bride!
They've done it, they have successfully tricked him into thinking this is okay with no funny business. But he's about to get stabbed. L'chaim to life is a nod at him being Jewish, also he had a Kippah in the DC version which backed this joke, but it fell off a lot ig so he doesn't have it now. Traditionally there was a lot of marrying women off to much older men for property and stuff, as most religions do/did tho. I was in a production of Fiddler on the roof for example and that was the whole premise.
Here comes the bride
Here comes the bride
God be glorified
I can't believe some cultures think this kind of thing's alright
My creepy old guy
My creepy old guy
Doesn't he deserve a chance at life?
Oh yeah, that's right
Yeah, that's right
So let's make him alive!
I am marrying my creepy old guy!
Guy, guy, guy, creepy old guy
Guy, guy, creepy old guy
Guy, guy
(I have chills)
Yeah!
And then they stab him and the till death do we part sign over the stage all makes sense now because the wedding vows are undone and since he's recently deceased he almost returns to the netherworld.
Etcetera etcetera... But of course you guys go tome deaf at that one when it plays if I remember right.
Oh right, the cartoon, of course, I knew just what you were thinking don't worry. You're thinking "oh well what about the comics, and the valentine cards! And and the animators who drew lewd stuff of Lydia!" Well.... Haha! Still p*dophilia! And also I have seen the infamous Lydia drawing and it's got her head shape, nose, lips, but it's not fully her. Even if it was again my first point, still p*dophilia. And yeah just because the people who worked on it drew it, doesn't make it suddenly okay. Ffs...
I couldn't even find a cartoon wedding that wasn't fan drawn to match this one. Because that doesn't exist! But I do have my favorite point to make.
Tumblr media
Beetlejuice's look into Lydia's future in Pest O' the West.
Now why you b*bes were busy being p*dos and gr**ming kids on the internet into thinking this shit is okay, I was mastering the art of common fucking sense.
Beej makes a joking remark that he cannot see into the future while hiding from Bully the Crud, but when he does as per usual, his puns and phrases make his magic go to work. So a crystal ball appears in front of him showing the future in the images I've provided.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lydia, doing a heaping pile of dishes as a ghost for bully and all of their kids, very unhappy and driven insane. Because imagine what being married to someone it's obviously wrong to be with would do to her mind. He hates seeing her like this, so he rushes to save her. Which he successfully does.
Toon is actually the one with canon evidence of this shit being not okay to him.
Also before anyone tries to say it, no the movie and cartoon aren't connected, she doesn't even live in Winter River in the cartoon that should have made it obvious. Besides she's like 14-16 in the movie. So I don't think she de-aged.
Lastly, two things that are off topic. I believe it's spelled canon, and before anyone goes saying fiction doesn't effect reality, I would like you to explain to me how being a Jedi is a official religion if that is so true.
See anon! I gave you my special, condescending talk that too two hours to type on my phone! You stalked me endlessly and I picked you as the special anon that, I didn't deletes ask for being a gross piece of shit in a minors ask box! Wow. That searching my name clicking on my asks, and typing out all that so I could live rent free in your head really.... Didn't work lol. I may have took two hours to type this, but I assure you I will forget about you in 2 days max. Because unlike you, I have better things to do than ship a minor with an ancient demon. Bye bye now, be sure to rant about me with pure rage to your house p*do friends so that my existence may spread further into other people's minds! Woo... Being famous is so tough. 😉

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Last time I made a playlist of recommended youtube channels to enjoy while in lockdown or self quarantine, I focused on individual videos while also recommending other videos from the same channel.
I thought I’d make another list only this time I’m going to be recommending playlists or series on youtuber instead of just individual videos.
This is gonna go exactly like last time, so check out any of these that might seem interesting to you, and hopefully I can give you something to look into if you want something to watch but don’t feel like watching a Netflix or Crunchyroll show.
Last time I tried to put this under a read more break but it didn’t work and I ended up posting this long-ass post on everyone’s dash. Well I decided to do so again here. hit J to skip to the bottom of the post if you don’t feel like reading this whole thing. If you’re on tumblr mobile; why?
In no particular order;
Cinemassacre movie reviews and topics
Tumblr media
All of you already know James Rolfe as the AVGN. I started watching him before Youtube was even a thing, before he was even signed on with Screwattack. Back when his videos could only be seen on his own website (or for some reason included on the free DVD you got with the local video game magazines). However, I eventually outgrew the outrage style humour of the AVGN episodes... but then James started doing Monster Madness where he would talk about his love for horror movies, and this where I learned about his vast knowledge about movie history and even films I had never even heard mention of before! I think it’s safe to say, he got me to be interested in movie history just as much as movie production and film as a viewing experience.
I recommend this playlist which is a hodgepodge of James talking about old horror movie franchises, talking about his first experience with Power Rangers as someone who didn’t grow up with it, or how Bob Ross is a childhood hero of his. It’s an excellent play list that’s really laid back but you learn a lot of stuff from it. James is very informed for the most part and it leads you to wanting to check out a lot of these things too, just because he’s so passionate about it.
If I ever get over my weird hang up about speaking out loud, these are the kinds of videos I’d like to make.
Vinesauce Vinny: The Neverhood
Tumblr media
Vinny is by no means a new Let’s Player, having been on Youtube for over 10 years now, but I only started watching him a few months ago. I started with this playlist when I saw he was doing The Neverhood, a game I had heard about but never seen played before. The Neverhood is a bizarre game, as a point and click PC game from the 90s where the entirety of the video game was made with stop motion and clay. Something that sounds so insane you would say it’s impossible if not for the fact that it exists. The claymation itself is extremely well done, and the game has a really weird and absurd sense of humour. Just the strangest things happen in this thing. Now couple that with Vinny’s very dry and straightforward delivery and you have probably one of the funniest Let’s Plays I’ve watched in a long time.
This is also “short” for a Let’s Play series. With only 4 parts to it, the longest video only being a bit under and hour and 30 minutes. It’ll still take up a good chunk of your time, but it’s not as daunting as some of the other Let’s Plays I’ll mention on this list.
Team Four Star: Pokemon Shield Nuzlocke
Tumblr media
Exactly what it says on the tin. The guys from Team Four Star play Pokemon Shield with Nuzlocke rules. They’ve done several Nuzlocke runs in the past, but I find the Pokemon Shield is the best one they’ve done. Especially since a lot of the needless fluff and grinding has been edited out. So unlike some of their previous series you don’t see a lot of Kieran and Grant running in a circle for an hour trying to catch a specific pokemon or trying to get to a certain level.
It’s also hilarious as they have a lot of “house rules” for the Nuzlocke often involving the exercise bike they.... have..... for some reason.
It’s very good and the gym battles become SUPER hype with the Nuzlocke rules and the music.
Baywatching
Tumblr media
Having been going to a few years now, watch Allison try her very best to go through and do a video series where she talks about summarises every episode of Baywatch.
.... Ever. Single. Episode.
She’s not even close to done yet (and now she’s introduced Baywatch Nights AS WELL) but her trying to explain the batshit insanity of this show, it’s over the top characters, it’s insane plots and behind the scenes weirdness with all the enthusiasm and love for this slice of 90s is amazing. Please enjoy a good thick chunk of inside jokes, silly character voices, and a whole lot of ?????
Brutal Moose: Shenmue
Tumblr media
Probably one of the most chill channels on all of Youtube, Brutal Moose aka Ian, prefers playing games you wouldn’t think would make for good Let’s Plays. And maybe they don’t, objectively. A collection of playlists covering Truck Simulator, Nancy Drew, Hidden Object games etc etc, spliced in with old commercials from drive in theaters from the 50s,60s and 70s. Ian’s Let’s Play channel is great for just putting on and letting play for company while you’re drawing or grinding in a video game or playing Stardew or something.
I recommend his Shenmue playthrough as Ian completely fell in love with the game and went on to play both the sequel and the newly released third game. Ian genuinely adores the weird voice acting and all the menial tasks and mini-games you can do. I watched this a lot in 2018 when I was going through a rough time, and it really helped me in a strange way to just put Ian on and listen to him talk to the chat and drive a forklift around for like 4 hours straight before going to Tomato Mart or wasting all his money on the gacha machines.
A Measured Response to “In Defense of Dark Souls 2″
Tumblr media
At some point, big name youtuber Hbomberguy made a video called “In Defense of Dark Souls II”. I’m not subscribed to Hbomberguy but I enjoyed his video on why Sherlock (the BBC show) is trash. (come to think of it I should have added that to the first list). And it seems the video on Sherlock was really good and well argued.... and it seems his “In Defense of Dark Souls 2″ video... was not.
Using subjective language, bad representation of facts, or simply outright getting certain information wrong, Hbomberguy′s video on Dark Souls II is, at best, a man trying to argue that he likes Dark Souls II because it is “Objectively good”, rather than simply accept he likes it... because he likes it.
MauLer is kind of an asshole, but I have learned more about dissecting someone’s argument and deconstructing what they have said watching his response series than I have in any english or debate class I have ever had.
The response is over 10 hours long, but this is because MauLer takes time with each and every statement he takes umbrage with, discussing what is being said, discusses why it is false or dubious, and then compares with actual facts and research.
If you ever want to know how to to distinguish subjective opinion from objective fact in someone else’s argument regarding... ANYTHING really, I highly recommend this series.
I may not like MauLer as a person, but DAMN if he doesn’t know how to deconstruct an argument in a logic, emotionless way.
John Wolfe: Maize
Tumblr media
Maize is a stupid game. a Stupid stupid game.
It involves sentient corn, and underground secret genetics lab, a Russian bootleg teddy bear that hates everyone, sentient corn, and a crumpet.
This game IMMEDIATELY went on my wishlist after watching this playthrough. Please watch John try and figure what the actual fuck is going on in this Monty Python-eque weird black comedy. It’s stupid, it’s weird, it’s bizarre and it’s honestly one of the funniest games I’ve seen streamed.
Hollywood: a Celebration of the Silent Era
Tumblr media
This is not a youtube playlist. I mean it IS, but what this actually is, is a TV series released in the UK in 1980 covering the Silent Film era. As it was made in 1980, it includes interviews with many of the silent film stars who were often still alive during this documentary’s production. Each episode covers a specific theme of the silent movie era. One episode is about comedies, one is about WWI, one is about Westerns etc etc.
It’s a fascinating series, because it focuses on the silent era which, in modern day, I think many people unfairly think of as “those first few years of movies before movies really became a thing.” And that’s such a shame and really not true. The artistry, camera tricks, and raw nature of this early era of film making is so important and produced films which can still be watched today easily, possibly even easier than a few modern movies as often the very fact that the films are silent means they are universal, regardless of what language you speak.
I think an episode or two might have been turned to private or copyright claimed in this playlist, but I know if you do a search on youtube you can find the episode uploaded by someone else.
Diamanda Hagan: Bonekickers
Tumblr media
Bonekickers is the show Mathew Graham made before he went on to work on the new Dr. Who. It is about archaeologists and it is God-fucking-Awful.
It is.... look. Ok. I like Archaeology a lot. But this isn’t a show that’s bad “if you like history” or “if you know things about archaeology”. This show is bad because it doesn’t make a single fucking lick of sense, all the characters are awful and terrible, and even if you understand what’s going on in the story you’re still going to be screaming “WHY????” at the screen as each new baffling stupid piece of the puzzle slots into place.
Diamanda Hagan has 0 time for this garbage and she’s going to walk you through each episode to show you how truly horrible this piece of garbage is.
Cry Plays: Ori and the Blind Forest
Tumblr media
With Ori and the Will of the Wisps releasing recently, now is a great time to go and watch Cry playthrough the first Ori game. an absolutely gorgeous piece of work with a beautiful soundtrack and really likeable character designs and a sweet story, Ori is a great game to put on, sit back, and just let it wash over you. Cry’s playthrough is also great because although its a Metroidvania game, Cry fast forwards the parts where he backtracks for a long period of time, so you don’t get stuck watching him run back and forth as he tries to figure out where to go next or anything like that.
Cry also recently started playing the sequel as well!
If you enjoyed this list at all, please consider tipping me for a coffee
☕️ Ko-fi ☕️

@storyweaverofgondor thank you for the tag!!!

Ahh I love them both, but I'm more of a dog person tbh. I especially love greyhounds!!
3. Favorite color?
The exact shade of green on a pigeon's neck 💕
4. Favorite food?
Hmmm,, there was this restaurant in my old hometown that made döner kebab sandwiches, and they were HEAVENLY,,, we had them every Friday for dinner they were so goddamn delicious,, and then we moved. I haven't eaten one in like, three years and I cry about it every day.
5. Favorite song?
This is apparently the weirdest goddamn thing, but I don't really listen to music. I just,,, can't get into it? My friends will ask me "you know that song by that artist?" and I'm like "uh no" and they're mortified.
I'll try to put something on while I'm drawing but I just find most music,,, very understimulating? I love musicals to death, but I really only listen to the soundtracks of productions that I've been able to watch (either bootleg or in person). Like, bands and shit? I can't get into them. I don't know what's wrong with me!!
But anyways if I had to pick a favorite it would be Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat.
6. Zodiac sign?
Cancer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
7. Where did you grow up?
Small chicken farm in rural Alabama until I was 11. And then I lived in Lebanon for six years and then I went to smalltown Tennessee to finish high school. So, a little bit all over the place. 😅

Also djjsjfhskfjfj I'm sorry for not reblogging the original post, it was just a really long thread already--

I’ve had this saved up for a while but haven’t posted it yet since I originally wanted to finish a companion piece first. But then I decided that hey, screw that, let’s just post it anyway!
So, here’s Lilia as Betelgeuse! The idea kept coming back to me after I watched (a bootleg of) the musical last month and I wanted to draw it. I ended up making an AU of sorts for it too but I never talked about it here yet.

Hi do you have any advice for adhd musical theater fans who want to watch bootlegs but can't focus on them for more than the first two songs? I want to watch these two-three hour musicals but p h y s i c a l l y c a n n o t
i’m personally not diagnosed with adhd but i do have a super short attention span and i have to keep myself occupied while i watch tv/movies, and i mostly do stuff to keep my hands busy.
here’s what i personally like to do:
knitting - it feels really good creating something and it keeps your wandering thoughts busy while you watch something
fidgeting - i have a variety of fidget toys like spinners, fidget cubes, this giant stress ball, putty (play doh, pinch me dough, thinking putty, etc.)
word searches/sudoku/etc. - not everyone can do this while simultaneously focusing on a tv show/movie/bootleg etc., but it’s something i’ve always done
paint/draw/doodle/coloring books - doesn’t have to be a masterpiece or anything. just something to do (like here’s something i drew a few years ago that was really simple but effective in keeping my mind busy)
organize something - while i clean my room i always watch a bootleg that i’ve seen a billion times. for some reason it’s one of the only things i can watch while i clean. organize your bookshelves, school supplies, art supplies, clothes, closet, bathroom, kitchen cabinets, playbills, etc.
cook/bake something and then clean the kitchen while it’s cooking
wash/hang/fold/put away laundry
do the dishes
make friendship bracelets or lanyards
those are all i can think of, and each of them is something i have done several dozens times before. if anyone wants to contribute more suggestions, reply to this post.
let me know if you do any of this and it works/doesn’t mwah xoxo

Quarantine ideas I’m going to be using :)
These are a mix between my ideas and some I got from tumblr or friends. I may do a master list of EVERY idea I come across in the future even if I don’t use it. I don’t know. I’m in quarantine I don’t have anything to do. Let’s start
1. Listen to new musicals
I love broadway and there’s tons of musicals I haven’t listened to yet that I want to listen to. If you don’t like broadway, now is a great time to get into it. Join the cult.
2. Watch bootlegs
Another musical theater thing. Watch bootlegs. If you’re new, know that you can find a lot of them on YouTube by searching “[musical name] slime tutorial”. Enjoy!
3. Finish the books you’re currently reading
Finish them. If you don’t enjoy them, you don’t have to finish it, even if it’s a classic but if you do like it and you just don’t have time, now is your chance!
4. Listen to the entire discography of an artist
Pick an artist. Listen to every song they ever made since the beginning of their career. If you don’t feel like doing that, at least listen to one album, IN ORDER. The albums are in a certain order for a reason, it’s the artist’s choice to put it that way because they thought it was the best way to listen to it. So trust them.
5. Write an essay
It can sound boring but hear me out. You don’t have to have a perfect essay with a good thesis and antithesis. You can just write about anything you like. Your essay can be “The top ten sexiest women poetry writers of all time”. Literally write about anything you enjoy. If you’re alternative or belong to a subculture that is really present in tumblr, you can write about that too.
6. Draw whatever the fuck you want even if it’s bad.
It can be the ugliest drawing ever. Doesn’t matter. Draw it. Explore new art styles. If you always draw cartoons, try to explore something like cubism for example. If you like to draw realistically, how about trying a cartoonish style just once?
7. Watch a movie/TV show
Watch a movie without doing anything else or being on your phone. Just watch a movie and enjoy it. Or binge watch a TV show. It can be fun. Try a new one.
8. Call your family and friends
Ask them how they’re doing. Even if it’s just 5 minutes and then you pretend you can’t hear them and hang up. Call them.
9. Stretch
I use this more since I’m a ballet dancer, but stretching a little bit before going to bed or whatever time in the day can feel really good. (Some people like to do it first thing in the morning, I personally don’t because I feel like it’s the moment where I am absolutely not warmed up, but that’s just a personal choice)
10. Learn a choreography
If you are a Kpop Stan, congratulations, you have an entire world of choreographies in front of you. Learn one or at least the chorus. If you are a musical theater fan, you can easily find some too. And if you are neither, doesn’t matter! Find a song you like, either choreography it yourself or find an online tutorial. Even learn a tik tok dance if that’s what you want to do. It doesn’t matter if you suck at dancing, its entertaining and it makes you move a bit.
11. This is a hard one but work out.
Put on some music, find a tutorial on YouTube and do it. Even if it’s just 5 minutes. It’s something.
12. Bake/cook!
It’s fun, and you can eat it afterwards. Putting on your music while baking something can be really relaxing and you have endless time. Try it.
13. Plan a murder
Don’t murder anyone, but if you’re bored you can plan it. Thoroughly. Just please don’t get in trouble.
14. Perform a play alone
It’s fun. Even if you aren’t a good actor or if you have to read your lines. It’s really entertaining. Get in character. Perform, enjoy, use your voice.
15. Make OCs
Any fandom. They don’t even have to be fandom based. If you can’t draw, find pictures online, write down how they’re like, their backstory..... Make one, I promise it’s fun.
16. Do research and write down what you find
Look into something you like or are interested in. An artist, a social phenomenon, a TV show, rocks, plants, Marie-Antoinette..... You can either just read it or you can grab a random notebook and write down what you find. It can be really interesting.
17. Read fanfiction
Do I really need to say anything else
18. Write fanfiction because we are all that low in life and no has to see it and it’s fun
You don’t have to post it. It doesn’t have to be good. Just write fanfiction.
19. Write letters
You don’t have to send them, you can just have them in a notebook or piece of paper. Write a letter to your grandparents, to your best friend, Freddie Mercury, that cute girl from the grocery store... Just to get your mind off things
20. If you have a balcony, enjoy
Sit down in your balcony, with a cup of tea or hot chocolate or coffee or a glass of wine and observe. Is there people on the street? Are there more birds than usual? Put your phone away while you do this. This is also a way for you to get some fresh air. If observing isn’t for you, then read, or listen to music or a podcast.
21. Write an “apocalypse survival guide” because why the fuck not. It can be anything
22. Re-read your favorite books.
They can be easy to read. You can re read the entire Harry Potter series for example. And notice all the hints that Wolfstar exists.
23. Try new music.
Go to the Spotify recommendations. Let the YouTube auto play decide. Ask your friends. Make a playlist if you want to.
24. Deep dive into a Tumblr subculture
Enjoy feeling like Strange Aeons. Document your research. What is the aesthetic like? How do you get into it? Some examples can be witchcraft, dark academia, cottage core...
25. Make a 47+ slides power point about your favorite band
Look up every moment of their history and make a power point presentation about them

Musical Bootlegs - I mean, slime tutorials! HERE is a super helpful link!
Watch a whole ass opera. The metropolitan opera has your back!!!
Media libraries by your local TV channels. I don’t know about other countries but in Germany you can stream shows and movies online in the media libraries of the big TV channels, for example ARD, ZDF, and arte. Just google the TV channels and see if the have a media library!
2. Reading
Books. Of course. There’s a book around you’ve been wanting to read for years? Now is the time! If you don’t have access to paper books, you can try the amazon Kindle app or the Libby app where you can borrow books and audiobooks directly to your phone! Also here is a link for free lesbian books!
Articles. There are so many wonderful blogs with interesting articles that you can explore!
Fanfictions. I know there is at least one 170k slow burn fic waiting in your Mark for later. Read it!
3. Movement
Yoga. Ideal if you have a mat but it’s also possible on a carpet or maybe even your bed. Try to stretch and get your muscles moving! YogaTX is a great channel, also Yoga with Adrienne is very good.
Dancing. Turn up your favourite music and dance! It makes you happy and gets you moving.
Take a walk. With proper social distancing, please. But it’s important to get fresh air from time to time.
Home workout. There are plenty of channels that provide videos for a home workout without equipment. Just search for it on youtube and find the one you like!
Hoola Hooping & skipping rope. If you have a big room or a garden, go for it!
4. Getting creative.
Write! If it’s short stories, fanfictions, movie scripts, poems, essays, diaries, lists, book and movie reviews - write it! Put your thoughts and ideas on paper. It’s always worth it!
Draw / Paint! I’m not a painter but i picked up a pencil yesterday and just scribbled some stuff and it was very calming. Doesn’t matter if you’re good at it or not - if it’s fun, do it!
Play an instrument. If you have an instrument at home, practice! Learn new songs, write your own or just play around and have fun.
Clean / Decorate your room. I love the Konmari method to clean your home, altough it can be challenging if you’ve never done it before. (But you should give it a try, if you’re feeling up to it!) Look around your room and think about how you REALLY want it to look like. Of course, you can’t magically change everything (I live in a 8 m² room right now with furniture that is not my own, sooo...), but you can change the atmosphere with little things you like - or maybe just getting rid of things you not longer like! I personally really like rearranging my book shelf.
There are a lot of other ways to get creative: stitching, sewing, gardening, book binding, baking, making moodboards, etc. If you want to try something new, or if that’s your hobby anyway: do it! (Also there are really youtube tutorials for anything.)
5. Random other ideas
Learn a new language! Duolingo and Memrise are great apps for that.
Research a topic. Always wanted to know why dolphins are mammals? Google it and find out!
Sing. I’m always singing, and it really helps me to express my emotions. Doesn’t have to be good, enjoy yourself! If you want to improve your singing, there are great vocal warm ups online!
Call your friends and family. With everyone being stuck at home I think it’s okay to actaully talk on the phone and not just text. It’s good to hear the voices of other people!
Listening to podcasts.
Discover new music.
Put on your favourite outfit, try new make up and hairstyles. Doesn’t matter if no one sees you. Make some selfies, posts them (or not) and maybe find a new style.
Discover national parks in 360 degrees!
See live streams of animals in zoos!
Play a computer or console game! This also should be obvious. If you just ordered the new animal crossing or if you finally have enough time to play the witcher - there are so many wonderful games out there!
Play a board game. If you’re stuck with some other people: now is the time to get out that dusty old board game from the 80s! Just be careful not to be at each other’s throat at the end, this should be uncomfortable in quarantine.
If you have other ideas, feel free to add them!

this is for your BMC hcs/ships! please and thank you. i’m a 5’2 female, red dyed, shoulder length hair, brown eyes, freckles, and I have glasses. I’m an outcast, love to listen to 70s & 80s music, sometimes 90s. I have too many hoodies to count, I love to read and draw as well. i play video games such as overwatch, COD, etc. on my PS4. i also play Minecraft bc my friends made me. i quote vines and memes on a regular daily basis too!
this is the 70s/80s, hoodie and gaming loving anon, sorry! but i forgot to mention that i’m bisexual, theatre loving geek incase you wanted a gxg ship!
I ship you with Christine! Also sorry this is so short, I’ve been busy today
you were Jeremy’s friend first
you met Christine while they were dating, and became pretty close
you quote vines and internet shitposts at each other all the time
“hurricAne kAtrIna?”
“mORe LIkE hUrRicAne tOrTIllA”
you, her, and Jeremy watch musical bootlegs together, sometimes with Michael as well
Jeremy and Michael are the friends that made you play Minecraft
when she and Jeremy break up (amiably, of course, they stayed good friends) you take her out to eat and to the movies to combat any post-breakup sadness
you get even closer after that, and you’re not sure why
she definitely steals your hoodies, because they’re always more comfy when they belong to another person
after one of her performances she runs to you and wraps her arms around you
she kisses you on the cheek and then freezes
but you smile and kiss her back
