i wish i could just turn off my thoughts like a light switch
#i have a day off why can't my brain just let me relax in peace#no i have to contemplate and reevaluate my entire life & every decision i ever made#i'm laying here thinking about how i let my childhood self down how empty my life is how i went to uni in vain etc#instead of just enjoying my day off 😭😭😭 i really wish there was a turn off switch for my brain it needs to be unplugged!!!#this is a mentally ill thing right bc i feel like healthy people don't question their entire lives just bc they have a day off??#they actually enjoy their down time & pursue hobbies or meet up with people & are productive instead of spending the whole day in bed#i was such a lively creative excited kid.. where did it all go wrong 😔#i need to stop entertaining these thoughts but ultimately i'm unhappy with my life & it's my responsibility to change it#but i'm barely getting by i don't have the energy to uproot my entire life#and at the end of the day we still live in a capitalist society that doesn't let you thrive unless you're already rich#god.... where's the turn off switch???? 😭😭😭😭😭#☁️

Where do you call home? At this point, wherever I’m with my family.
Do you have any pets? My mom has an old Shih Tzu and he loves me, so I think that counts lol. His name is Buchanan (Buki for short).
Current favorite musical artist: I’m currently obsessed with Indila. Literally can’t stop listening to her album Mini World and any other song she’s featured in. I’m hopeful that she returns to making music even though it’s unlikely. 😔
What do you do for work? Right now, I’m a stay at home mom and do art commissions on the side. Thinking of just doing art full-time.
If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? My best friend of almost 10 years who I haven’t seen in a while. We live in the same town lmao and we’re always making plans and stuff, but they always fall through because we’re too busy or life happens. We just never really have time to hang out anymore and I miss him. 😭
What are you wearing right now? A khaki T-shirt, olive green cargo shorts, and tie dye crocs.
You’re going back to school, what’s your major? I’d probably go for a creative writing degree. Ya girl is illiterate. Realistically, I wouldn’t go back to school.
Last fanfic or book you read? This one’s tough. I always start books and fics, but I’m never able to finish them because my attention span is trash and when I tell you I’m such a slow reader, I get too frustrated with myself to finish. The last fic I did read all the way through is This Time I’m Serious by @mrsbsmooth . I guess the power Bruno Kaminski has on me overrides my illiteracy lmao💀
And finally, share a happy memory with me: For someone who’s been rawdogging life with untreated PPD, I don’t think a lot about the happy moments in my life (and don’t get me wrong, I’ve had so many), but seeing my kid hit developmental milestones has been the best for me. His current one was riding a bike without training wheels and seeing him so excited and proud of himself brought me a lot of joy.
