Fun story! Tara the android upset me so much when I was 13 because of the theory that there was a woman who was buried alive screaming for help, and her voice would trigger the android to sing by some sort of mechanism I don't remember the details. It really scared me mostly because my best friend at the time was more afraid of it which by proxy made me afraid. Like only recently in my adulthood can I hear I feel fantastic and not get uncomfortable . I hadn't thought of her in so long til you reblogged her <3

OH MY GOOOOODDD i remember hearing about that at around the same age! i remember hearing that the clothes tara wore were also the clothes the abducted woman was wearing while taken & that her namesake was also that of the woman who was buried alive.. i still have zero clue where that theory came from, but i do know it took the internet a good while to find the creator of tara (John Bergeron) & there is still little known About him and his projects tara as a whole beyond her basic functions
