a dad complimented the way i spoke to his toddler bc i didnt "do silly baby speak" but truth is i just spoke to his kid the way i speak with animals so do with that what you will
#i had the front door open to air out the office and the kid walked up to the door and waved#and i went like. slightly higher voice going oh hello there young man what can i do for you sir that is a very nice pinecone you have there#and shaking his hand and all like having a fige minute conversation with this child who answered me in babbles and his dad was like#wow i love the way you speak to him i dont like when people use silly voices and baby speak words and all that!#i was like hahah yeaah but in my head i was like i just treated your kid like i would treat a curious pigeon but thats between me and god#soph txts#txt#it was a very cute kid tho he let me hold his pinecone and gave a solid 9/10 handshake
