here's the thing about "indie sleaze" as a style defined only in retrospect: by the time some diluted mass version of it was being aped by the likes of Katy Perry and Kesha, it wasn't fucking indie anymore. real indie sleaze was the kinda shit you saw 18 year olds wearing to of montreal concerts in 2005.
