Superwoman
https://archiveofourown.org/works/28476486/chapters/70718184
One second Kara was zooming through the weird light show the universe-jumping device always put on, eyes wide as she flashed through universe after universe on her way back to her own. The next second she blipped into existence right in the middle of an alien brawl and a giant purple fist hit her in the face. The next second? Nothing but darkness.
When Kara came to who knows how long later she was in the DEO, laid up in a hospital bed and with a familiar, worried pair of green eyes looking at her.
âKara,â Lena sighed in relief. A moment later, however, she was glaring at her. âI know your journalism is very important to you, but you canât get that close to an alien brawl.â
Kara stared at the dark-haired woman, blinking owlishly several times before finally opening her mouth to speak. âLena, what-â
âMe? Lena? Pfft, Iâm not Lena,â the person who was definitely Lena said defensively, her eyes looking anywhere but at Kara. âIâll go get the doctor, you must have been hit harder than I thought.â
Just as Lena turned to go, Kara finally letting her eyes drop from Lenaâs face to take in her outfit and physique and realizing that this Lena wasnât her Lena, a commotion began in the control room. Lena turned towards the noise with wide, confused eyes, and after listening in Kara realized why: she was the one causing the commotion. Or rather, this Earthâs Kara was.
âThatâs not me!â The other Kara yelled, running through the parting crowd of DEO agents and towards the med bay. âI saw,â she paused and gasped for breath and Kara felt a sinking feeling in her stomach, because if this Earthâs her was out of breath, and Lena was dressed like that, it could only mean one thing. âI saw you save her, on the news. And sheâs not me, Superwoman.â
Lena turned to Kara with narrowed eyes, her brows scrunched together furiously, and Kara was fairly certain she was about to be laser beamed. She, however, had a much more pressing issue on her mind.
âSuperwoman?!â Kara yelled, jolting to a seating position and pointing at Lena. âSuperwoman? HOW? This didnât make any sense in the first place and now youâre telling me you get to be Superwoman? And you even have pants already?!!â Kara was fuming, so angry the rest of whatever she was going to say was just a series of indignant and unintelligible sputters.
Lena looked taken aback at the blondeâs anger, and she took a few steps to the side so she was standing protectively in front of the other Kara.
Karaâs phone ringing cut off her attempts to form angry words from her angry spluttering and she yanked it out of her pocket, wishing sheâd chosen to wear her suit instead of her civvies, discretion be darned. âWhat?â
âKar? You good? Iâm getting some weird readings from your suit,â Alexâs voice crackled through, broken up and staticky. Kara fiddled with the clunky device strapped to her phone and the yellow blinking light on it turned a steady green. âKar? You there?â Alexâs voice was crystal clear now.
âYeah, sorry. I had to adjust the turtle.â Karaâs focus was on her phone, though when a pale hand tried to snatch it away at super speed she easily evaded. âWhat the heck, Lena?â
âYouâre communicating with Alex Danvers?â Lena hissed, her eyes actually beginning to glow blue. âWhat the hell is wrong with you?â
âPlease tell me you didnât blip into existence in the middle of one of Lenaâs board meetings,â Alex said over the phone. âShe was going to be pissed enough that we didnât tell her you were going to another Earth!â
Lenaâs eyes widened at that and she took a small step forward, crossing her arms tightly over her chest and concealing the searing red symbol of the House of El that stood out starkly against the mostly black super suit. âYou really expect me to believe this Kara is from another Earth, and not some twisted clone you made, Alex?â
This Earthâs Kara rushed over and stopped beside Lena, her eyes wide. âYouâre me from another Earth? A- and your Alex is good?â
Karaâs brow crinkled as she looked between the alternate her and super Lena (she was not going to call her Superwoman okay). âWhat do you mean, is my Alex good? Of course sheâs good. Why wouldnât she be?â
âKara,â Lena said quietly, wide, concerned eyes trained on her Kara, whose chin was wobbling from the urge to cry.
âM- my Alex,â other Kara began softly, eyes trained on the floor. âSheâs the head of an organization called CADMUS. She hates aliens to the point that it drove her insane. Sheâll stop at nothing to kill Superwoman. She- sheâs even used me against her a few times since she knows weâre friends.â Other Kara sniffled as Karaâs jaw dropped.
âKara.â Alexâs voice sounded strained. âPlease tell me that doesnât mean what I think it does.â
âAnd what about Lex Luthor?â Kara asked, ignoring her sister.
âWhat about me?â Lex asked, strolling into view. He was wearing very familiar tactical gear. âIâm Lex Luthor, Director of the DEO, though it seems you already knew that. Care to explain how?â He narrowed his eyes at Kara, and she was astounded at how⌠normal he looked. The Lex in her universe had cold, dead eyes. This oneâs eyes were hard, yes, and distrustful, but he stood close to his sister and the other Kara, almost⌠protectively? What was going on here?
âOh Rao,â Kara breathed in realization. âLena and I are switched in this universe. Thatâs why Lex is suddenly a good guy and Alex is, well, Lillian and Lex from my universe rolled into one.â
âWhat do you know of Rao?â Lena demanded, just as Alex asked, her voice sounding even more strained, âWhat do you mean you two are switched? And I am not Lillian and Lex rolled into one, Kara, you take that back or you are notgetting the last potsticker at game night ever again, I swear to god.â
âOn my Earth Iâm Supergirl,â Kara said, looking Lena dead in the eyes as she yanked her glasses off. The brightly colored suit materialized, and Kara had never been more thankful for the pants upgrade in her life. Being Supergirl was humiliating enough, but a skirt? Oof.
âNot Superwoman?â Other Kara asked curiously.
Kara grimaced at her human self. âMiss Grant wouldnât budge on the name.â When she turned to Lena the womanâs eyebrows were furrowed.
âSo you⌠grew up on Krypton, then? Like- like me?â Lena asked quietly, her voice vulnerable.
âZhi,â Kara said quietly, her lips upturned in a small, sad smile. âI grew up Krypton, and I⌠I watched it explode right before my pod got stuck in the Phantom Zone.â
âWere you-â
âAwake?â Kara interrupted. Lena nodded, gulping. âIntermittently. It wasnâtâŚâ Kara stopped and took a deep breath. âIt was cold and dark and lonely and I thought for sure Iâd be trapped there forever. Luckily for me, Aunt Astra needed a way to get Fort Rozz to Earth, and she was able to use my pod to do it.â
Lena and Lex exchanged a loaded look at the mention of Astra, and Kara had a feeling Lex had killed Lenaâs aunt just as Alex had killed hers.
âOkay, weird as all this is,â Alexâs voice interjected, âThe turtle currently has more charge than the device youâre using to get from universe to universe. At the rate the battery is draining you have two and half hours until youâll be stuck in the universe youâre in right now, and you only have enough energy for one more jump. I think we need to call-â
âNo!â Kara shouted, causing everyone gathered around her to jump. âNo, Alex, you canât call in Lena, sheâll be pissed that we didnât call her in sooner and Iâm really trying not to stress her out anymore than she has to be to run L-Corp. We canât tell her Iâm about to be stranded on an alternate Earth because I accidently broke the part of the jumper that controlled which Earth I land on! Maybe, uh, maybe this Lena can help!â Kara turned to super Lena with wide, desperate eyes. âPlease tell me youâre as tech savvy here as you are on my Earth.â
âYou do run a branch of LuthorCorp,â other Kara chipped in thoughtfully, âso you could probably help her. Me. Whatever, you get it.â
âI- wait, Iâm not, what?â Lena spluttered, looking from her Kara, who apparently knew she was Superwoman, to the other Kara and back. âOh Rao I didnât correct her earlier! Lex!â Lena glared at her brother for not catching the slip, and he held his hands up in surrender.
âI was as delightfully distracted as you, sister dear,â Lex said lazily. âBesides, we both know Miss Danvers, at least thisMiss Danvers, isnât exactly a security risk.â
All of their heads turned to the phone in Karaâs hand when they suddenly heard the muffled sound of several voices, most panicked, before it went silent. Then, âKara Zor-El Dan-â a familiar voice growled. Karaâs yelp cut them off.
âOh Rao! Alex, I told you not to call Lena in!â
âShe didnât,â Lenaâs voice answered smoothly. âAnd Director Danvers will pay for that later. Right now we are going to get you back to this Earth, and then you and I are going to have a long, long talk about what exactly determines need to know information, are we clear?â
âYes,â Kara muttered, staring sulkily at her phone, her bottom lip jutting out.
âKara darling, I can hear you pouting, and itâs not going to work,â Lena said wryly, though she at least sounded a bit amused instead of the previous rip roaring enraged.
Other Lena didnât seem to have heard a word of the conversation as she was still staring dumbly at her human Kara, and she finally managed to blurt out: âHow did you know I was Superwoman?â
âDid I just hear that Earthâs version of me call herself Superwoman?â Lenaâs voice purred, and Kara could just see the smirk on her face.
âYou told me you flew to CatCo on a bus,â human Kara said, grinning at a now-blushing Superwoman.
âOh for fuckâs sake,â Lena groused over the phone. âThere is no way I would ever say that. Do Kryptonians have special idiot genes?â
Human Kara gasped as super Lena and Kryptonian Kara winced. âYou canât be mean to Lena,â human Kara scolded. âEven if you are a Lena! Itâs still not allowed!â She put her hands on her hips and glowered at the phone Kara was holding, which Kara instinctively cradled closer in case the other version of her got any ideas.
On the other end of the phone Kara was pretty sure she could hear Alex laughing. Her Lena mumbled something that could maybe pass as an apology before telling Kara to stay out of trouble while she made a retrieval device and hanging up.
âWhy is your Lena so cranky?â Other Kara asked, her eyes narrowed as she stared her doppelganger down. âDid you do something stupid?â
âI did something brilliant, actually,â Kara replied, smirking to herself. Her audience didnât get it at all, of course, but she still found it funny. âNow then, since my Lena is working on things, it looks like Iâll be here for a little while yet. What else is wacky?â
âHow would we know?â Lena countered, arching her eyebrow.
âItâs not fair that you can still do the eyebrow thing and you get superpowers,â Kara grumbled. âBeing a superhero was my thing, darn it! And in one of the universes I accidently landed in, you were also a reporter, but I wasnât a CEO! And in another one we were both CEOâs but weâd met when you tried to buy out my company! It isnât fair!â Karaâs lip jutted out and her puppy dog eyes were in full effect now, and Lena looked surprisingly contrite considering she really couldnât control any of that. Other Kara just rolled her eyes.
âOh whatever, Supergirl. Put away the pout and letâs go get potstickers while we wait for your ride home.â
And so it was, that half an hour later, full of (literally) otherworldly potstickers and having momentarily forgotten that a pissed off Lena was waiting for her, Kara was perched happily on a chair in the DEO conversing with this Lena in Kryptonese (while human Kara watched enviously), waiting for her phone to ring.
Only apparently her Lena was feeling dramatic because instead of her phone ringing the portal device beeped a brief warning before opening a swirling vortex of light in the middle of the control room and a moment later Lena strutted out, angry eyes finding Kara immediately and one eyebrow already arched dangerously. âThanks to you I had to wear my heels an extra hour,â Lena said, her glare somehow intensifying.
With a small eep Kara sped over and gently scooped a willing Lena into her arms. âSorry, baby.â
âMy stomach isnât the one you should be apologizing too,â Lena grumbled, turning her glare to her very obviously pregnant stomach (though the glare immediately melted into a soft, if exasperated, look). She looped her arms around Karaâs neck and let her head fall against her shoulder as her eyes wandered the astonished crowd. When her eyes fell on herself, decked out in a supersuit and looking both hopeful and afraid at this sudden development, she rolled her eyes. âIâm assuming my lovely wife neglected to mention the fact that in our universe weâre married?â
âUh, yeah,â other Kara said, her rounded eyes not leaving Lenaâs stomach.
âWait so the reason you didnât want to stress me, uh, her, anymore was because I, I mean she, is p-p-pregnant?â Super Lena stuttered.
âOh my god,â human Kara breathed in realization. âThat why when I asked if your Lena was cranky cuz you did something stupid you said youâd actually done something brilliant and had that weird smirk on your face! You meant you did her!â
Super Lena choked on air at that one, and Karaâs wife gave her an exasperated look. âReally, babe?â
âIs it not true?â Kara counted, smirking at her wife for a moment before pressing a soft kiss to the crown of her head. âI am sorry for not telling you I was aimlessly universe hopping. I was just worried.â
Lena sighed and nuzzled into Karaâs neck. âI know. Weâre still talking about this little incident later, though.â
âWhere are the rings, if I may ask?â Lex queried, a strange look on his face.
Lena flinched at the sound of his voice and burrowed impossibly closer to Kara as she turned her wary gaze to her not-brother. Silently, she held up one hand, her ring glinting in the light. Kara, meanwhile, shot a significant glance to her own wrist, where a matching bracelet could be seen peeking out of the sleeve of her suit.
âHow did I not notice that?â Super Lena whispered to herself, eyes now caught on the bracelet. She only managed to pull her gaze away when she realized her favorite heartbeat (her Karaâs) was pounding especially hard, and she chanced a glance over to see what could only be a look of longing on Karaâs face.
âGo for it,â Lena encouraged, happily going back to ignoring Lexâs existence and closing her eyes. âAlso weâre going home now. I need a foot rub. And a nap.â A massive yawn punctuated her statement and Kara gave her an impossibly fond look before shooting her human self a wink and walking through the portal, her wife cradled safely in her arms.

Supercorp where kara hints that she loves when Lena waers suits and continuously tries to be sneaky in getting her to wear them. I think it would be adorable if it was set before they are dating but honestly do whatever you think is betterđđâ¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
Hi, Anon! Thank you for the prompt! I hope you enjoy it! (You can read it on AO3 if you prefer)
------------------------------------------------------
âYouâre wearing a dressâ.
Itâs not a question, but a statement that comes out of Karaâs disappointed? outraged? mouth. So Lena frowns down at her very sexy, very expensive designer dress.
âYes?â
âHuhâ
âWhat...â the fuck?Â
Lena looks down again. And, sheâs sorry, but she actually looks pretty damn good in this dress. She spent the better part of her before-bed-routine thinking about what she would wear today. And she specifically selected this dress because of how well it hugs her figure and because of the color. Because Kara, herself, has told Lena time and again how good she looks in this color. How pretty her eyes shine next to it. So, yes, what the fuck?
âNothing just... Nothing. You look gorgeous!â But Kara is frowning. No, pouting. And Lena knows sheâs not an expert on Kryptonian culture or social etiquette. But she knows this Kryptonian very well. And Kara is upset because Lena is wearing this dress.
âI could change?...â With no superpowers, Lena just saw a flash of hope in Karaâs eyes. Sheâs sure of it. Before:
âNo! No? No, no. Lena, you look amazing. Iâm sorry. I guess Iâm just tiredâ
âAre you all right?â Now sheâs worried. Maybe Supergirl had some sort of top-secret mission.
âNo. Yes, Iâm fine. Just... Itâs nothing. Promise.â And, finally, she smiles a genuine smile. A Lena smile. One that Lena canât help but return, despite being a bit confused about her friend's behavior.
âVery well. Shall we?â
âOf course!â
And off they go. Theyâll be joining the rest of the group at the new and improved alien bar. Mâgannâs alien bar. Itâs a sort of inauguration, but a more private one, before the grand opening theyâre planning for next week. Lena is delighted that her dark chapter with Kara is in the past. They both worked really hard to mend their relationship and themselves. Years of traumas definitely influenced the terrible outcome. But neither could avoid their responsibility nor blame it all on their respective pasts. Therapy and hard work from them both have not only reanimated their friendship, but Lena would dare say itâs better than ever. They are better than ever, So much so that Lena is hopeful for more. Sheâ knows Kara feels the same. But theyâre cautious of not rushing into anything.
Itâs why she thought so hard on her outfit for the celebration tonight. Sheâs supposed to be wooing Kara and instead she, apparently, disappointed.
âDo you think Iâm overdressed?â Lena asks, just to try and see if she can figure out what the deal is. Because Kara herself is looking very fine in her own dress. Her lovely hair curled up in a simple but fancy bun, exposing her strong neck, which makes Lena wish she was a vampire, so she could sink her teeth in it.
âWhat? No! Lena! Iâm sorry, I didnât mean to be rude before. You look beautiful and perfect, as usual.â At Lenaâs raising eyebrow she keeps going, a tad nervous. âI just thought you, uh, would maybe wear a suit? I mean, you, ah, you said theyâre more comfortable, and I want you to be comfortable. Because itâs a celebration between friends! So you should be as comfy as possible, right?â And she lets out that adorable nervous little giggle she does, that never fails to make Lena smirk (or smile... or melt)
âHuh. Well, I didnât even think about a suit for the occasion. I usually wear them for business. You know, intimidating CEO and all.â Lena teases, hoping to lighten the mood and move on but, oh. Kara is blushing?
âYeahâ Is a breath more than speech. And Lenaâs brain is working at a speed that would leave Barry behind. But theyâre here. They have arrived at the bar, and she has to let it go. For now. The best thing about Mâgannâs bar is that it serves alien alcohol. Which was exciting before. But now? Now sheâs eager to get in and let a couple of hours pass.
A couple of hours had passed and Kara is wonderfully tipsy. Most of them are, actually. But Lena had a new goal in mind for the night, so she refrained from consuming too much, or too fast. Sheâs watching Kara like a hawk because she doesnât want the alien to get drunk. Her blue eyes are just barely glassed, her cheeks tinted the prettiest pink, and she canât seem to be able to stop smiling. Or giggling.
They have sung, they have danced, laughed, and eaten. Now, Lena knows, theyâre close to ending the night. They have spread in little groups, conversing. So she waits for the moment Nia leaves Kara to go in search of Brainy to sit next to her.
âHello, darling.â
âLena!â Kara beams at her. Lena wants to kiss her.
âEnjoying yourself?â Kara nods and lets her eyes roam over Lenaâs whole body. âEnjoying the view?â She tries, because, why not?
âYeahâ
âI thought you didnât like this outfitâ
âWhat? No! I love it! You look so pretty!â
âHuh. I donât know. You seemed disappointed I didnât wear a suit?â
âYeah.â Kara exhales and looks down at Lenaâs body again. âYou look so sexy in your suitsâ
âIs that so?â
âUh-huh. So badass. And sexy. Did I mention how sexy you look in your suits?â
âYou didâ Lena's smile is so big sheâs worried she might dislocate her jaw. âI wish I knew before how much you wanted to see me in them.â
âWhy?â
âEyes up here, Supergirl.â
âUh... sorryâ
âSee? You canât see my breasts as well in a three-piece suit.â
âSo much sexyâ
âThe dress or the suit?â
âThe suit! Always the suit, Lena. So sexyâ
âGod I want to kiss youâ And, oh, Lena did not want to say that out loud. At least not here or now. But now Kara is looking her in the eye. Her smile is so bright, it could probably recharge her Kryptonian cells.
âYeah?â At Lenaâs nod, she confesses:Â âI want to kiss you, too. I want to kiss you all the time. Especially when youâre wearing a suit.â
And thatâs it. Lena takes Karaâs face in her hands as if sheâs made of glass instead of being one of the most powerful creatures on Earth, and kisses her senseless. Or she would if it werenât for a pointed clearing of a throat, right behind her.
âCome on, Luthor! Really? Youâre going to kiss my little sister on a bar for the first time?â And Lena leans back, not letting go of Karaâs face, closing her eyes to savor the fact that she kissed her. She did. And it was all she ever thought it would be. But better. So Alexâs purposed dig is not going to ruin this for her. Kara, however...
âAlex! Go away! Donât you have a girlfriend to kiss yourself?â
âOh, you think Iâm not going to take the chance to annoy you guys on your first kiss? What kind of big sister do you take me for?â And Lena chances a look at Alex over her shoulder because she doesnât sound drunk at all. Not even tipsy. And Lenaâs glare softens when she thinks of Kara worrying over her sister's drinking problem. Thinks of how much Alex has worked on her own issues. And of how much the fact that both Danvers sisters had worked so hard on themselves has made their bond all the stronger.
âThe best sister!â Kara says, solemn, not a hint of tease in her voice. And then is Alex softening. And Lena is so grateful that Kara has this. That she worked on fixing things with Alex, too. Because she could not get in between these two.Â
âCome on, you dorks. Weâre all leaving.â
And yes, thereâs only the three of them inside. The place looks kind of tidy. Which, when did that happen? So, they gather their things and get outside with the rest.Â
âYouâll take her?â Alex asks Lena once they have all shared good-bye hugs. And Lena turns to see Kara squishing MâGann, again. Smiles:
âAlwaysâ.

Who: Taylor Bennett, Brian Fresco, Morocco Brown, D.O.P.E
What: The Taylor Bennett Tour
When: April 7th, 2017
Where: Songbyrd Music House and Cafe (SOLD OUT)
How (was the show): Read Below
One thing that you should know before seeing any Chicago music group live is that they are not like anyone that you have seen live before. From seeing live acts such as Noname and Ravyn Lena, and more recently those artists associated with  The Taylor Bennett Tour I know first hand that witnessing a Chicago show will take you to another world.  Like I said previously, this latest tour was headlined by Taylor Bennett a Chicago rapper whoâs latest project Restoration of an American Idol has become one of my go-to listens on any given day. The album has nine tracks that feature artists such as Raury, Kyle, and Lil Yachty.  There is no denying that Taylor, TayTay did the damn thing, but letâs get into the other artists on the tour.
D.O.P.E
Malik Stewart

Definition of Percussion Entertainment
D.O.P.E the creation of Malik Stewart, a native of the Washington D.C area. Is a one man drumming percussion show, that is more than drumming it is a movement? With nothing more than a set of drum sticks, a hover board, and what I think was a snare drum his energy spread throughout the building immediately.  From the moment that he took the stage, my heart was racing, this dude was going off! He approached his drumming with an intensity that I have never seen. His precision and showmanship did not suffer one moment during his performance. When I tell you this man went offâŚhe went off into another dimension. All while balancing himself on a hover board! The energy began to magnify when he asked for volunteers from the crowd to join him on stage.  I pushed my way through the crowd for a chance to be selected as one of the participants. To my hype, he asked me if I wanted to come on stage. Within seconds we were beating the drum to Kendrick Lamarâs, HUMBLE.  Afterwards, he hosted the after-show and gave all us a taste of Chicago juke music. Once again Malik stole the show, beating his feet on and off of the hover board.D.O.P.E was a great opener for the show, Malika truly embodies the D.O.P.E spirit that he has named for his act and with a set that incorporates fans I can see great things for D.O.P.E
Morocco Brown

When Morocco Brown first appeared he was outside hyping up the fans before the show started. His energy was needed too, it was clear that people were beginning to get antsy waiting outside in the cold. His energy was even more present when he took the stage and began to perform. Before that night I had never heard of Morocco Brown, but he made a fan out of me that night. With easy to remember tracks like Closer, that rocked the crowd back and forth. Closer is the first single off his project that he has been under wraps for the past two years.  The crowd definitely vibed with Closer, with hands swaying in the air, it was clear that Morocco had the crowd into his set. He also performed his song Catch Me ft. Taylor Bennett, that has a memorable hook I did, it for love, I did it for love.  *He also took a picture with me*
 Brian Fresco
IG: @brianfresco
Brian Fresco⌠YO, THIS DUDE TURNED UP SO HARD. I DID NOT KNOW ONE SINGLE SONG FROM HIS CATALOGUE BUT THE HYPE WAS REAL.  The minute that this man hit the stage I knew that he came to turn up and turn up hard.  He along with DJ MIKE P told everyone to get their phones out and shine those lights on the stage.  Brian Fresco had a swagger about him that was nonsense, with every song he made sure that we were all rocking with him in the crowd. His footwork cannot go without mention, Fresco manoeuvred the stage with a dope shuffle that kept my energy high. Keeping up with the high energy from past sets, he jumped into the crowd and proceeded to get rowdy with us, while his tour mate popped a shaken bottle onto the front of the crowd. To top it all off, Fresco has a song hype song with Chance The Rapper and Blue Hawaii titled, Higher. Fresco without a doubt made a fan out me that night and to top it off again, Fresco pointed to me at the show and said âI fuck with that niggaâ

âYouâre my number one D.C. fanâ
A little background on my relation to Taylor Bennett.  About three years ago I had a friend tell me that I should listen to Taylor Bennett, to my regret I did not take his advice and I canât claim that I knew him before he went on his first country-wide tour. Off of the heels of his newly released project, Restoration of an American Idol.  Taylor Bennett took the stage after the hyping of DJ Mike P, one of Chicagoâs premiere DJâs. Taylor took the stage in a flash and began his set with Neon Lights. The ninth track from the album that features Supa Bwe and Lil Yachty. Needless to say, that the energy in the room erupted when Taylor said that DC was the first show to sell out.  As soon as those words, fell from his lips.
âMr Bennett never finished, you canât miss a call                    Me and Supa Supa sold out, SOBâs New Yorkâ
the Songbyrd erupted. Taylor brought so much swag to the stage, from his outfit, his footwork, and his delivery.  He performed a combination of songs from both albums, a couple of singles, in addition to a cover of a Childish Gambino song, and one track he performed acapella. Taylor gave us Roof Gone, Favorite Colors, The intro (acapella), and his last song of the night Outro. With every song, Taylor would repeatedly ask â D.C how do you feel?â I responded âhot!â and Taylor agreed.                                       From his album previous album Broad Shoulders, he performed his favorite song Dancing in the Rain and had the audience be his choir. The feeling of being on one accord with a room filled with people is such a dope feeling that words cannot express accurately. What I found endearing about his set is that he performed his tracks that feature his older brother Chance The Rapper. He performed Grown Up Fairytales and Broad Shoulders; I have a lot of Taylor for this. I know that he is constantly getting compared to his brother in terms of everything from his music to how his brotherâs influence got him to where he is today and I have nothing but respect for him. Performing his songs with his brother live showed me the love between them is one that cannot be broken by peopleâs opinions of them. Taylor closed out the show by playing his big broâs radio hit No Problem, the room was bumping and with Taylor rapping over Chanceâs verse it was a done deal.
