things i noticed in my pilot rewatch:

wolf almost immediately grabs a glass of champagne when he walks into the wedding with his first patient. i know the show's hinted at him having drug issues, but maybe he has some alcohol ones too? (unless that idea was abandoned since the pilot was written/filmed.)

(and probably applies to all of his other traits that make him "different", like his sexuality, or popularly headcanon'd autism. i mean, i know he's open about his sexuality now as an adult, perhaps as a way of rebelling against his mom, but, as we may see in more flashbacks, he probably kept it to himself for quite a while.)

whoever directed the ep made zach & teddy look like they're the same height when nichols confronts wolf and kicks him off the case. i guess it keeps them, literally and figuratively, on the same level in the dispute. but now we all know that wolf's actually shorter, and it's funny how that's been primarily highlighted when they're fooling around with each other. (i know it's an intentional directing tactic, though, bc a similar thing was done in the batman v superman movie when bruce and clark stand eye to eye - henry cavill is also 3 inches shorter than ben affleck. emphasizing the height difference would imply a power imbalance, which you don't want in these sort of gray zone conflicts!)

for SuMo, which is also the canon i follow the most... I'm generally pretty okay with how they dealt with him. Like I always write him thinking mostly about that version, of course adding a little more of "adult content" (as in, him bleeding and dying and being Fucking Depressed in ultraspace mostly), but that's the version i fell in love with. I am and I will always be vocal about how rushed the final part of gen 7 was and how i'm DISGUSTED!!!!!!with the idea that a good ending implies team skull being disbanded (thus making it an ending where he didn't really learn to not run away from responsabilities :^)) but for the most part it's great and i love him.

i have. so many mixed feelings about PokeSpe. i'm going to say it right away i think it's mid the battles are great everything else but mostly how female characters are written is okay at best terrible at worse. from the little i saw they really decided to keep his undying loyalty to Lusamine and i hate it here but i enjoy how they managed to write him slightly more unhinged.

the anime did him justice actually. I still think he wouldn't touch the League, ever, and he wouldn't get mad at Golisopod for an ability he should know he has (miss me with that "he's just pretending he doesn't know :)" the anime makes it very clear), but i like his competitivity and his arrogance and how they handled his finale a lot. with the years i made peace with aniGuzma and i think he's very neat despite my problems with the anime (coughlusaminecough). i'm not particularly annoyed with how they confirmed he decided to start a war on alola bc he couldnt be a trial captain either, with how the anime is written i can see that as a good reason actually idk i like how they managed to make him feel like a proper threat and a good "final antagonist". good shit

Okay so I’m a pretty okayish genshin fan, like I know some of the lore and that stuff, plus some of the characters which is why I’m confused on some of your ships, like Kaeya and Diluc, Albedo and Freminette and collei and yun jin. Mainly due to kaeya and Diluc being brothers in game, even referring to themselves as such multiple times, freminette is very much (at least hinted at) to be a child and albedo is obviously rather older than him, same with collei and yun jin, there may be more but I wasn’t able to see all of them on your chart.

there are No Canon Exact Ages in genshin, no direct "hey this character is a Child!" other than the actual children models (klee, diona dori, even dori could be the trope of short old woman actually bc she does not talk like a child and klee is an Elf Thing who ages differently but this isn't abt them) the absolute closest we get to guessing someones age is diluc and ayato, diluc because his timeline of when he was in the knights(like 10), when the fight with kaeya happened(18) and when he got back(3-4 years after), we can estimate he is 21-22, mostly because we dont know just how many years he was on that break; and then it was said somewhere in ayato story description hes implied to be in his early to late 30s? if i remember correctly? ill have to fact check that myself again later

absolutely none of the "" teenage"" models have any exact age that actually sets them in the "minor" category; and genshin does this on purpose, they want the ages to be ambiguous so any character can be sexualized because they know nsfw work of thier characters Sells The Game to new people.

when i first started playing genshin and noticed thier dynamic, it felt familiar to another ship dynamic i was just obsessed with, i spotted the signs and started calling them exes from there, then i looked into fandom content and learned that the adopted brothers thing is a mistranslation, and in the cn text of the game they are referred to as sworn brothers which is a popular cn trope to hide homosexual relationships in cn media ; yes theres an argument to be made of "well if it was a mistranslation why haven't they fixed it yet" maybe they dont want to, for further censorship or maybe they prefer two versions of the relationship

dear anon id like you to read the genshin webtoon, where kaeya says how i think thier relationship is best interpreted; "diluc and i are like brothers" and later on diluc responds even with 'i am not your brother' i dont remember word for word

Just accept the Ava we’ve got and kinda… ignore her backstory like that’s what I do. If you think too much about it you’re just gonna get sad. And I guarantee we are thinking about 1000x more than the writers are thinking about it. Realistically, they’re never gonna explain anything satisfactorily. That went out the window once they clarified she was a clone made as an adult and that there’d been 11 of her.

Nothing they say is going to make the ethical ramifications of what they’ve written as her story any better, so I’m just. Mostly not thinking about it.
