              it’s a quiet night within the allan household. her mother works late nights now , leaving liz to her own devices – while some might look to parties or gatherings , she has taken to studying with longtime companion. silence had lingered as the two worked diligently , however it is michelle’s steady tone that cut through , the catalyst for the cast of eyes upward. it’s clear from her expression that if there was anything she expected michelle to say , it wasn’t that. she finds herself grinning shortly thereafter confoundment has been amended & it’s an easy , pleasant transition. teeth emerge from behind lips , saccharine sweet , & all the while palm finds own cheek. she looks to the other with awe , & although ample complexities surround their relationship with regards to what they are as well as how to sustain this bond they’ve fostered … liz cannot focus ‘pon all uncertainties , only on what she knows. & what she knows is this : michelle is right. the metaphorical butterflies that fly about her stomach when eyes fall upon her , when her voice graces her ears , when digits  interlock with hers … each instance proves to be a telltale sign —— this is love. however , there is a space that lies between them , most GLARING evidence being the webcam each girl peers through so as to gaze upon the other. & while liz had begged the girl opposite her to move forward post - her departure , it was clear that such a request was not obliged by. 

               ❛ yeah , ❜ she finally agrees. ❛ i guess so , huh ? ❜liz clearly knows love’s transcendence of space to be true , for her love lies before her despite newfound distance. however , she can’t help but sigh. liz can only hope that they can soon say the same for time.
