uuuuUUgh *lies down and dies the death of a jump bug that can’t be replicated outside a specific family that has something to do with traits but trying to load the family without them in just causes the game to hang on the house loading screen indefinitely thus making it impossible to find out what the fuck is actually causing the bug RIP to me plant nice flowers over my grave pls*

#everyone brace yourselves for another 2yr cakebread hiatus #wheee #went through with simidge and removed every non-patch conflict #no dice #it's two specific sims that get in an endless jump loop #if i move them onto an empty lot they're fine #but if i move everyone else out they still snap reset #already moved the entire family to a different lot once which didn't help #so like i don't think it's something on the lot specifically #since taking out all of buybuild did not stop it #i was able to whittle the bug down to my hacks and traits folders #but trying to 50-50 any further means the family won't load at all #the two sims in question are the next cakebread gen #so technically i could just move them into their own house and continue #but there's no guarantee the bug won't just come back #if i cannot find the source #which again isn't any object cc cas cc or the lot itself #''play with less mods'' you say #''your game will run so much better'' you say #you may as well tell me to walk into the ocean #gif tag
