In you’re peepaw au do they kiss ever see april again? Or does she and Casey try to redeem themselves?

Yes they do!

Actually, April helped Mikey leave when he was right about to destroy all the remnants of how the babies where created from the lair (while also managing to salvage most of her research and technology that had nothing to do with the little turtles mutations (her years of research,stuff to help the revolution, irreplaceable mementos from the past, etc)). She understood why he was doing it and honestly didn't try to stop him.

April managed to say goodbye to each baby and also to Michelangelo himself. After all, that was still her little brother even after all those years.

She let them go because she knew that if they stayed the babies wouldn't have a fulfilling life in the long run (with the revolution and all). STILL she gave Mikey a phone she made herself so they could actually keep in touch.

Mikey does feel a bit guilty that he's leaving all the fighting behind while April and Casey keep on fighting but he's also exhausted of it all. April does reassure him that they will be just fine because they are strong enough and not to worry too much (they have been fine for a long while without him after all), he has done enough already.

I like to think that in the future when the revolution wins with Casey Marie as the leader and it all calms down a bit, April gets reassured enough that everything would be alright if she leaves for a bit (and that Casey will be safe) and gets to go visit Mikey and babies in Japan!

In Casey Marie's case: She is extremely bitter over Mikey destroying everything so she couldn't create more turtles lmao

But time passes anyways and April just kept on talking to her and in the end, while holding the book Mikey left behind for her, she realized that what she was doing was some fucked up stuff lol (she gets to visit the babies in Japan a long time after April does just because Mikey doesn't trust like that anymore lmao)

And headcanons about the au!:

- Mikey and April videocall a lot, mainly so April can see the babies and how they are going (they love when they can talk with their grammy)

- Yi destroys a lot of the electronics in the house just because she wants to see how they work on the inside! (Mikey doesn't really get mad by this, having grown up with Donnie and all. He does have to get basically a spare of every single electronic ever until Yi grows up a bit more. He also likes to get her mechanic and science books for her, she loves them)

- Moja loves Naruto and Dragon Ball. I just know this.

- Odyn loves Bluey.

- The kids do end up learning ninjutsu only because Mikey wishes for them to be able to defend themselves if needed be and that's it.

- April manages to find and send photos of Mikey and his brothers for the shrine he's got home. Mikey cries for the first time in decades when seeing them.
