The Warning is a harbinger of forest fires, often appearing to humans that are about to light a campfire or a cigarette in the woods. Most people leave immediately after seeing it, however some are foolish enough to ignore it. When fire catches and cannot be controlled, the Warning can be seen in the treeline, unharmed by the flames.

The Warning is a hollow wooden creature inhabited by the manifestation of wildlife that has been lost in forest fires. It wears an old, soot stained fire blanket that failed to put out the fire that killed it. The soul that puppets the wooden body has formed it into the shape of a deer, in the hopes that It might experience its old life once again.

The wisteria blooming from its antlers and torso is meant to provide food and comfort to the animals it comes across, and to get the attention of humans so they'll look at it instead of thinking it's a normal deer.
