#i have a complicated relationship with arroz con pollo that would take a trauma dump to explain but just know it's important to me#i want to feed my boys!!! and arroz con pollo is literally the perfect dish!!!#i like to think of my non latino f/os liking it of course#but my latino f/os being like “really? that's how YOU make it? I guess...”#because of the universal law of ethnic dishes varying from household to household#and then we argue about it (LIGHT HEARTEDLY) but they end up liking it the way i make it because clearly i'm the superior chef here#imagines
