so this is the statue!! it’s from episode 1, when eren mikasa and armin are looking at wall maria after the colossal looked over it!!

it’s in hita city in the oita prefecture, specifically in front of the oyama dam!! it’s isayama’s hometown and this dam was what inspired the walls in snk :’) i also didn’t know this until i googled for pictures, but there’s a plaque on it too
