Not so random 3am grievance but I so badly need to understand what is this woman at my Chinese course's deal with both infantalising me and wanting to befriend me. Just because you know my mom doesn't mean you automatically know me or are in any position to act like that around me.

#she has acted like this ever since i first met her #she enters the class and personally greets me. way too enthusiastically too.#mainly talks to me.#has basically begged me to let her take me home 'just in case your mom isnt here to wait for you' when my mom was already much there.#in general acts like she's a relative of mine when i learned if her existence basically this year. plus she uses a very baby tone with me.#i usually endure it cus she's old and i don't like being mean but today she sparked my nerves again cus #the prof handed us a review paper to send to the University about what we like/dislike of it. like courses and stuff #and at some point I was like 'man lol idk what to write here i only take this class here.'#and this woman just went and just. 'you could write 'i like (her name) in there!!!!' all smiles and shit #???#hello?#you're not my friend NOR my second mom. stop.#i didn't tell her anything and just laughed awkwardly but god the more i think about it the more it's pissing me off.#moon likes to rambletm
