Young God-Part 1

Summary: Your power isn't even a power its simply words. You can understand people, get into their head and know them better than anyone all willingly on their end. This made you useful to the avengers when villains came and you could understand and fix them. When this is asked to be done to loki you cant help but fall for the god the more you get to know him.

Notes: Ok lemme just start of saying loki isn't going to be...nice in the beginning of this i got the idea off of joker and harley quinn's relationship and slightly silence of the lambs so do with that what you will now i adore loki so he won't be a dick the whole time just yea someone getting into loki's head? he isn't too chill with that.

You walked down the stairs leading to the dungeon where the god was locked away ready for you to speak to. you heard the mocking laughs and sarcastic remarks made as you passed the cells.” “hey mortal lemme get a taste” he said thrust to you. you flipped him off not looking at him and passing on by. seeing the god laying on the couch reading a book you walked through the boundaries placed stepping before him. Odin had given you a pill, said it would allow you past the wall of an hour and only you. “hello” he said reading his book still. “apologies for my fellow inmates they can be quiet rude” he said with a small smirk.

“ironic coming from a man with the nickname silver tongue” you said sitting down on a chair in front of him. he placed down his book “oh doll there's more to that nickname” he said with a wink. you simply rolled your eyes in response. you had been told loki was like this. “anyways why are you here” he asked sitting up turning to you “did odin send you to make sure im behaving?” he asked with a snarky tone

You made a mental note of his hatred for odin, though from your interactions with the man you slightly understood that. “i'm here to speak to you” is all you said. loki scoffed “you doll are a horrible liar” he said with a smirk. He stood up and walked around you almost scanning you. “what's the real reason your here?” he asked behind you. “truly i am here to talk to you” you repeated with a straight face and shrug. “then talk” he said bending down right in front of your face. his breath ghosting over your face and his long wavy hair falling in his face. “your a god you live for years on end tell me loki, how old are you?” you asked. loki gave a smile before standing “my age? that's what you came for?” he huffed. “ill answer your questions if you answer mine” he said in return

you turned around facing him “i don't answer questions” you said with a shrug “oh come on doctor i know your other patients didn't just comply with your questioning” he said with a smirk. he was always smiling or smirking, never a true smile something to show planning, no not planning, anger? no not anger. hurt? yes thats it hes hurt and hides it with his devilish smile. to throw you off to push you away. make you fear him over wanting to know him.

Now the new question was how did he know you were a doctor. well you may not be an official doctor but you were one of sorts. You had been in college to get a phycology degree until fury swept you up making you work for him. you tilted your head alarming the god you were lost on his accusation. “oh dear as you said i am a god you don't think i could fall for your tricks and lies like the others did you?” he asked walking to you “doll only i make the tricks here” he said holding your jaw. “now we play by my rules” he said with another smile. “stop” you said. his smile widened “stop smiling” you said. you saw a hint of confusion wash over before it was erased with another smirk “why doll?” he asked. “because its a lie” you said. loki's face became serious “you talk of lies yet you wouldn't tell me why your here” he said walking around the room.

“Fine i'm here to evaluate you” you said simply “now will you answer my questions?” you asked. “I have been just not the ones you want the answer to.” he replied. “agree to my terms and ill be more than willing to answer you” he said with a sarcastic smile “i ask the questions not you” you replied. he shrugged laying back down reading his book again. you only had an hour with him so you had no choice but to comply with his rules or you'll get nowhere but you also didn't want the god to think he could just boss you around and throw a fit.

you shrugged picking up your bag walking out of the room. “1,054″ you said blankly. you turned confused “my age” he said still reading. you nodded walking back in “one question” you said sitting down. he smirked still looking at the book but not reading it “well start simple. name?” he asked. “y/n” you replied. “y/n....mmm now y/n why are you here?” he asked sitting up. “to evalu-” you started to say before he cut you off “why are you here?” he asked “were not doing this loki i said one question” you said standing back up. your hour was almost over. “what happened doctor don't like a taste of your own medicine?” he asked with a dark smile. “why do you do that? smile so much?” you asked. “you tell me you said it was a lie which means you've made your own deductions of it so tell me doc why do i smile so much?” he asked tilting his head.

“to make people uncomfortable. they see you smile this mischievous smile a smile that they expect from the god of mischief. you become what people expect of you so they stay away now why you push people you don't know away i'm not quiet sure on but i assume it has something to do with your spite for odin” you said simply. loki gave a wide smile standing up “well well well doc, you are utterly” he said behind you getting close to your ear “wrong” he said simply straightening backup. “now you well i do have so many things to say about you” he said moving in front of you. “you evaluate people thinking you know everything about them so much more than they know themself, from body language to words to the crime they commited. but i my dear am simply a king who deserved a throne and would fight for it” he said sitting back down “hours up doll better leave before your trapped in here” he said looking at you with another smile. 

Walking back up you felt unnerved. the god had a weird aura to him like he could read your mind. granted he may actually be able to in which case you need to be more careful about such things. you walked to your room feeling empty and drained. you fell back on the bed rubbing your face. the odinsons had given you your own quarters while you stayed there. there was  knock on the door and you groaned “its open” you replied and the door opened revealing yet another god, a kinder one. Thor walked over sitting next to you “how was loki?” he asked. “loki was....exactly how yall described him” you sighed. thor griminced he hoped his brother would behave “did you get anything out of him?” he asked. “just his age which is useless it was more a test to see if he'd comply with me. think he got more out of me than i of him” you said looking up at thor. 

“give him time. my brother can be...difficult but your a legend at this so you should do well it may take longer than usual but you'll get it” thor said cheerfully. you gave a small smile. you wanted to believe that you truly did but honestly you weren't sure. “loki sure is a strange guy” you said sitting up “Well he's not a guy hes a god such as i and he was raised by my mother” he said to you.

“get some rest i bet you'll do much better tomorrow” he said with a smile walking out. you sighed and changed, laying bed you felt sleep take over. 

you stood in a black room seeing your parents smiling faces “mom? dad? you said with a smile. you started to run to them before blood dripped from there eyes and they slowly faded away. you stepped back feeling empty once again. you heard a chuckle and turned seeing loki laugh and roll his eyes before vanishing too

You awoke with a small scream and your heart racing. you were drenched in sweat and tears streamed down your face. once you calmed you growled launching up from bed and walking down to the dungeon storming past the assholes shouting crude things at you. you stood at loki's cell banging on the wall “hey asshole” you said blatantly. “well hello to you too doll isnt this a shocker” he said with another smile god how you wanted to slap that smile off his face “shut up” you said. loki sat up looking at you “well what can i do for you?” he asked. “your not supposed to have you powers in here” you said with a stern face

loki tilted his head in mock confusion “why i don't” he said voice dripping in sarcastic hurt as if offended by such accusations. “don't lie you bastard! You were in my head i know it you know it so let's just both know it” you yelled at him. His smile widened “ok darling but see i do have one question left unanswered. how did your parents die?” he asked stepping to the glass. “they didn't it was simply a nightmare” you groaned. 

“no no see people who dream of the death unprompted feel pain,sadness,fear they try to stop it you well you felt nothing you just...stood there” he said looking down at you. “so how was it they died?” he asked. “if you can get in my head then you sure as shit know” you said looking down at the floor. you really did not want to speak of it.

“of course i do doll but i want to hear you say it” he said leaning on the glass. “i will not play into your game” you said storming off “you still hear it dont you? their screams” he said. “i do” he said after

you turned “pardon?” you asked walking back to him. “have a nice night darling” he said smiling walking back to his couch. “but you said-” you were cut off by the sounds of footsteps “oi you are not to be down here madam” the man said walking to you “oh yes sorry i must have sleep walked” you replied walking upstairs back to your bed.

laying down your head felt as if it was spinning. This was going to be an interesting roller coaster wasn't it.

i’ve been having a really hard few months and struggling to live and act how i used to but i feel awful for it because i havent been there for my friends and i’m not the only one who has problems and i feel so selfish for being caught up in what’s wrong with me and well i mean for example a friend of mine is working on recovering from an addiction and i want to help him stop but i keep hitting a wall whenever i try to let myself talk to him it doesn’t happen my head won’t let me it’s like im trapped in my own bubble of what feels safe and i cant leave it and i just feel so awful and useless because i cant help my friends im worried for all of my closest friends and on top of that im just afraid that they wont love me anymore if i keep being so hard to deal with and i just feel awful that that part feels important enough to keep in. i am so afraid about so many things that shouldn’t matter as much as the hard things that can happen to the people i care about and i am afraid by knowing that these things take up my mind and i am afraid that even if no one is trying to directly shut me out i am ruining things with them and for them and i feel like the only thing that will help them is to leave me but i am so afraid of being left alone that i am just trapped here. and i feel like i’m being so over dramatic and i havent been able to have a real conversation with any of my friends not because they’re trying to hurt me but because everyone has so many problems of their own and it’s hard work to deal with someone like me and they don’t say all of that and they truly aren’t being mean to me and it isnt their fault it’s just that i somehow made it to a place where i might stay forever and i’m as bad at asking for help as anybody could be besides sending awfully desperate messages that shouldn’t need a response but still scare me to not ever have one. idk i’m just. really stressed and i feel like as a person i dont know how to deal with so many situations that i should understand by now and i should be able to navigate without falling apart every time i get near them. and i feel Bad About It!!!!

any problems or concerns that you have aren’t stupid at all, not in the slightest, not even a teeny tiny bit. they matter! they really do – just because you think that other people have “bigger problems” doesn’t mean that it cancels out anything else and invalidates issues that you might have. you might not be struggling with an addiction but you’re plainly struggling with other issues instead (such as anxiety), and that does matter. 

I think we can all agree that we have a “responsibility” of sorts to help our friends when they’re in trouble, like that’s part of what it means to be a friend?! however…it’s not your fault if you can’t fix all of your friend’s issues and concerns. that’s exactly why counsellors exist, why therapists who specialise in addiction exist, why psychologists exist?! collectively we as a society have recognised that there are deep and complex issues that need more than just a casual level of support. they’ve gone to school and had years of training to be able to help support people with mental health issues. that’s why training and study exists! because these are not easy and straightforward issues to solve. you can absolutely be there for your friend if they need it, but it’s not realistic to expect yourself to be able to resolve all their issues for them. 

I think when it comes down to it? you’re too hard on yourself, you place yourself under way too much pressure. it’s good to be critical of ourselves at times, that’s what can help us to change and to grow? but statements like “I feel I’m being over dramatic”, “I keep being so hard to deal with”, “I feel selfish for being caught up in what’s wrong with me”….all of these sound so harsh towards yourself ): I know that I don’t know you personally, but being this critical isn’t healthy. you’re only human! and you sound like such a caring and compassionate person, if you find yourself getting caught up with your own worries I think that just shows how terrible and distressing things are for you. 

so what to do now, how to get find some answers and resolve some of this pain and distress? reach out for help, that’s the best advice I can give. I know it’s not easy and I know it can feel very vulnerable but it’s so important to do it. if you feel like you just can’t talk to friends about things then you could try making an appointment to see the welfare counsellor at school? or you could try talking to your parents if you have a fairly ok relationship with them, or maybe you could make an appointment with your local doctor without needing parental support if you don’t want to tell your parents just yet? there’s lots of people that you can reach out to for support that don’t have to be friends, but reaching out for help and letting people know what’s going on is key. you need help, you deserve help.

it’s good to be there for your friends, but it’s so important to be there for you as well. you know how on flights (in the good old days pre-covid where we got on planes to travel haha), the safety procedures always tell you to put on your own oxygen mask first before helping others? same concept applies here, sometimes it’s best to help yourself first and get to a place of relative calm and stability before attempting to help others. your life doesn’t have to be tip-top perfect with no dramas before you can help your friends?! but if you’re in this much distress and anxiety and pain, you need to look after yourself first. it’s not selfish to do that, promise.

E.M.Pathos - Chapter 1 - Anticipation (new WIP, unedited)

Jenny was nervous.

First the first time in a very very long time, she was actually nervous. Not apprehensive, not cautious, not anticipatiory, not fearful. Just straight up nervous. For her it was an unusual experience.

It wasn't the tests coming up. No, she'd always strangely enjoyed being tested, measuring herself, having documentation of her own internal competition with herself. No it wasn't the tests. Or was it? She was actually quite excited to be part of this new program, to have been selected for the second round. So what was it?

She looked around the small, sterile waiting room for the hundredth time. 'Waiting room? More like hastily converted scientist's broom cupboard is more like it,' she mused. Stark white plastic chairs with no padding made her shift in her seat again. 

"They could have at least had some out of date 'zine's laying around," she muttered. "I mean what self respecting doctor doesn't have dozens of magazines that are like 5 years old just laying around?"

"Well for one thing, there's not even a coffee table to put em on Jenn-o. Which only makes the lack of coffee even more noticeable."

Trust Dax to complain about missing his morning fix. It didnt seem to matter how far from home they got, he always seemed to find a way to make coffee. Like that one time on Estoc Prime. Jenny shuddered at the memory. That one had been close. A little too close for any sort of comfort. She hadn't been able to look a cup of coffee in the face since then. Ok, sure, poisoning the commander of the ship that had hijacked them with espresso had been a stroke of genius from Dax, but it still brought back too many unpleasant thoughts; not something she needed today of all days. 

'Breathe. Just breathe. Dont think about that right now.'

Dax winced. "Sorry Jen-o. I'm just a bit nervous and having to go off caffeine entirely's made me a little spacey."

"Don't worry about it Dax, I understand. We're both a little jittery right now. You have any idea what to expect this round? I mean, last time, they were just like following me around for months with a bunch of weird cameras and asking a bunch of questions. Idk man, just wondering how this whole 'in-depth examination' thing is going to play out."

"Yeah, don't worry about it too much ay. She'll be right. We always are."

Jenny exhaled deeply again. Her mind was working overtime due to the lack of anything to hold her attention at all. There weren't even any cracks or motes of dust to stare at mindlessly to pass the time. 

"Stop chewing ya nails- you're gonna end up with hands like a Thraxian if ya don't cut that out."

"I'm nervous, Dax. Nervous. Me! Actually nervous. I dont even know why I'm here, much less how both of us got in, what they're going to be doing, whether I'm actually qualified, or any clue what any of the probably thousands of ways I could fuck this up somehow are."

"You worry too much. Over-sensitive, you are. Always have been. Then again, maybe that's why you made it to round two."

They fell silent again. This particular waiting room was definitely not conducive to conversation. Being alone in their own thoughts might have been worse though.

Dax started bouncing his leg rapidly. He was nervous too, but not from the unknown. He was more a combination of anxious and bored. Jenny placed a hand on his knee to still him again.

"Ugh, all that study and no one in IGSARC managed to figure out that bored humans are a dangerous thing to leave unsupervised." 

"We're not dangerous Dax! Jeez how many times do I have to tell you to stop buying into the hype and stereotypes?"

"Oh so you think IGSARC got funding for this second round of research just because they were curious? Nah, somebody on the Council is worried. Or hoping to find an advantage. Something. IGSARC found something they weren't expecting to find, and stereotype or not, I'd wager a month's ration of beer that they're either scared of us, or wanting to exploit us."

"God Dax, you're so negative! Maybe you really do need coffee to survive!" Jenny laughed, the bright sound tinkling around the small room they were ensconced in, brightening the mood instantly.

"Haha, yeah, you're probably right Jen-o. Ahhhh I'm just tired waiting is all! You always know how to make me feel better though.

Jenny smiled at her best friend. They'd been through so many things together, from the first day at the Merchant Academy when she'd accidentally stepped on a Lorathian cadet's tail and nearly started an intergalactic incident when her rush to apologize ended up with her hands in what were for Lorathians, very inappropriate places. Even just thinking of that still made her blush a tiny bit, even if it did make her smile. 

Dax had totally saved her bacon on that one, with his smooth talking, good looks and dazzling charm. The accent probably helped too. Not many actual Australians seemed to be out and about in the galaxy, and she had to admit, the combination of his dark brown skin, beach-blond curly hair and brilliant smile were the perfect combination to be disarmingly noticeable. He'd managed to get the Lorathian talking, and eventually the two sauntered off, Dax with his arm around the other, headed to the Canteen. They'd been fast friends ever since.

'That was such a long time ago now,' Jenny, lost in her own thoughts again sighed. 'Well, it seems like it was a long time ago anyway.'

"How long's it been Dax? Since we met, I mean. Seems like I've known you forever."

"What? You forget me that easily? I'm insulted!" Dax laughed easily. "Probably about as long as we've been sitting in this damn room."

"So what, 5 years?" Jenny chuckled.

"Sounds about right. Fuck we were so much younger then."

Jenny punched him. "Hey! Speak for yourself!"

"Hahaha gotta get the dig in when I can Jen-o!"

Just then, right as she was cocking back to punch him again, the near-invisible door to the room hissed open.

The IGSARC representative did not come in. Their face was obscured by the doorframe, but the clipboard they held was dwarfed by the massively long fingered blue hand that clutched it to their chest like a child's treasured toy.

"I apologize for my tardiness, it was unavoidable. Also, please forgive the sparseness of the accommodations at the moment, our study is only just getting started." The alien scientist had bent down to be able to see into the room better while speaking, and now Jenny and Dax were able to see them properly.

"Ah where are my manners! I apologize again, we are all just so excited about this newest phase! Let us introduce ourselves properly, so if you would be so kind as to step out here, as I am sure it would become even more uncomfortable in there were I to attempt entry."

"We should've just waited in the damn hallway," Dax muttered to Jenny as they stepped out into the large corridor that stretched along the top deck of the starship. 

The view from the glass that looked out into the neighboring nebula from the floor to ceiling glass on one side was truly breathtaking. Or at least, it would have been, had Jenny not been short of breath already, due to the nervousness from earlier slamming back into her like and old earth freight train. The momentary reprieve from it, courtesy of Dax, evaporated as quickly as liquid nitrogen on Mercury. He was right though, the hallway was wide enough that they could’ve driven their ‘spacers to the meeting, parked in the hall and still had enough room left for a dinner party. It just made the cramped waiting room seem all the more ridiculously sized. 

The scientist caught her attention again as they started speaking again.

“Allow me to introduce myself- I am Doctor Itraxilitanthudinilatz of the IGSARC Advanced Research Division. I realize my name is a bit of a mouthful for most humans, so you may call me Doctor Traxi. Firstly, I want to welcome you to the second phase of a very exciting program! We here in ARD are extremely excited to be working with you for the next 18 to 24 months on this groundbreaking area of research. Since today is the first day of the program, we’ll be beginning with a brief tour of the area of the facility that will become your home, your quarters, and the areas of the ship that will be accessible to you. Unfortunately, due to the highly classified nature of our work here together, as well as the parameters of the research, in order to eliminate any external influencing factors, you will not be permitted access to the entire ship, however, we’ve made sure to include a large array of amenites within the research facility’s designated areas, so you should not feel too restricted.”

Of course, Dax raised his hand. 

“Did ya at least make sure there’s a pub in there?”

“Ah. Sadly, at the moment, no, however, being aware of the necessity for many humans to participate in ritual toxification, there will come a stage in this project where that will be made available, but sadly, until we reach that stage, your dietary intake will be strictly monitored, which does include the elimination of any physiologically altering substances, at least for now. But more on that later! We will go over all these things and answer as many of your questions as possible during the orientation period tomorrow. For now, let’s begin the tour!”

As Dr. Thraxi started off down the insanely large corridor, Dax grabbed Jenny’s arm. “Great, first no coffee and now no beer!”

“Yeah I know, you’re torn up about it. OMG Dax, just suck it up for now, you should’ve known what you were signing on for,” Jenny hissed under her breath. “You’re just being a baby about it right now because you haven’t had any coffee for a week.”

“Right, I know, and now it looks like I’m not gonna for ages too!” Dax whispered back. 

“Shush and pay attention!”

“...of course this corridor will be off limits due to it being the main concourse connecting the two main parts of the ship. Our section is coming up, which I hope you will find most adequate.” Dr. Thraxi had been droning on for the couple of minutes that it took them to make it about a third of the way down the observation concourse, when they turned to a side hallway, significantly smaller than the main walk, stopping in an alcove facing a large frosted glass door. Dr. Thraxi placed six of his long fingers on a blank section of the wall next to the door, at which point the door frame lit up a pale blue, and the glass slid open silently like some fey portal to another world. 

A disembodied voice called out softly, “Welcome back Dr. Thraxi. I have detected that you have guests. Are they the new study subjects?” 

“Yes thank you Janet, these are the newest participants in the second phase of our research. Could you please update their files?”

“Of course Doctor. Subject 1, please step forward.”

Doctor Thraxi gestured at Dax, who took two steps forward into the main room. 

“Scanning. Linking data files. Subject 1: Dax Fellowes. Planet of origin: Terra Prime. Age: 35. Height: 172 centimeters. Weight: 95.2 kilos. Species: Human. Genetic Sub-group: Aboriginal Scottish Australian. Hair: Blond. Eyes: Brown. Circulatory system: Internal, Pressurized Atrial system. Condition: Healthy. Respiritory System: Dual internal lung. Primary absorbative content: Oxygen. Condition: Healthy. Registering bio-markers. Profile complete. Please state your name for voice-print identification.” 

“Uh, Dax Fellowes.”

“Registering Ah Dax Fellowes.”

“Oh wait, hold up, that’s not right, my name’s just Dax Fellowes.”

“Adjusting. Voice print identification for Dax Fellowes saved. Thank you.”

“Stupid bloody machine,” Dax muttered to himself as Dr. Thraxi walked past him into the main area of the lab. 

“Jenny, if you could also step forward now so that Janet can scan you as well please.”

She stepped forward into the room, and was instantly too caught up in looking around to pay any attention to Janet’s robotic voice as the scan proceeded. She was too interested in seeing all the other scientists milling about, some lounging and talking in the common area of the room at the far wall, where a window the size of her mother’s old van framed the expanse of deep space, a dark contrast to the low white couches that were currently occupied by several scientists- at least she assumed they were based on the white lab coats that matched what Thraxi was wearing. Off to the side several others were gathered around a couple small tables, chatting and eating. Various posters and artworks were scattered tastefully across the walls. One in particular caught her attention since it seemed to be a hologram representing the birth of a star that was constantly changing and moving in all three dimensions. 

“Please state your name for voice print identification.”

The ethereal voice of Janet snapped Jenny’s attention back to the present. 

“Jenny O’Rourke.”

“Voice print identification for Jenny O’Rourke saved. Thank you. You both may now access all areas of the lab designated Participant Level 1 security clearance.”

“Excellent! Now that you’re registered in the system, let’s get you acquainted with the areas of our facility that you’ll be using most!”

The rest of the hour long tour went by in a blur- both because listening to Dr. Thraxi was just so monotonous, despite their best effort to be engaging, but there’s only so peppy you can be about showing off chairs and toilets, but also because the reality of what she’d signed up for was starting to sink in, as the more and more they saw of the research facility, the more it became clear that she and Dax were the only visible humans in the entire place. Although the variety of species was astounding, even for a deep space vessel, and that one game of four player multi-dimensional chess looked fascinating, Jenny found herself simply letting the information wash over her. 

“...and that brings us to the conclusion of our tour! I hope that the two of you will be comfortable during your stay with us. We all look forward to working with you, and I’ll be introducing you to the rest of the Phase 1 research team tomorrow at 10:00 hours in Conference 3. If you don’t remember where it is, that’s fine, just ask Janet for directions.”

Dr. Thraxi turned to leave Jenny and Dax standing in the middle of what could have passed as a comfortable modern hotel shared suite lounge, his clipboard fluttering slightly at the rapid movement. 

“Oh hey, one more thing Doc!” Dax called out as Dr. Thraxi stepped through the doorway. 

“Yes?”

“Dumb question, but what’s Janet? She a person, a computer, what? I was pretty sure computer, but the responses are pretty personalized.”

“Ah yes, one of our earlier successes actually- Janet, an acronym of “Genuine Artificial Neural Network” is an AI program designed to interface between all of our various systems. We worked quite hard on getting her responses to seem more natural, as well as being able to understand intent over data requisitions.”

“Bonza mate, thanks for the tour,” Dax yawned. “I think I’ll be hitting the sack soon then, been a long day.”

“What was that about Dax? Like why do you even care what their stupid computer is called?” Jenny was a bit irritated. Bed definitely sounded like a really good option. 

“I don’t give a royal shit what their computer program is called, it can go fuck itself and the rest of this program for all I care. I wanted to ask an innoccuous question to see something.”

“Whoa there boyo, why the hostility all of a sudden? I thought you were all pumped for this program, except for the lack of coffee.”

“Yeah well I was excited for it....until the tour.”

“Ok buddy you’re starting to scare me, what gives?”

“I’m not sure- I can’t put my finger on it yet, but there’s something...off about this place.”

“Damn. I wish you hadn’t said that Dax.”

“Why? Oh no! Oh did I just trigger you again without thinking? You ok?”

“No no, that’s not it, it wasn’t you. This whole place kinda started putting me on edge soon as we walked through those doors too. I kinda tuned the doctor out while they were showing us around, but that gave me more time to look around at everyone else here. You notice we’re the only humans in this facility?”

“Yeah. That we saw anyway.”

“Dax. Don’t make this more melodromatic than necessary. But yeah, no other humans. Ok that could be explained away with we’re the first ones in this section of the study. Fine, i’ll buy that.”

“But…”

“Yeah, there’s always a ‘but’. I hate ‘buts’.”

“Bullshit, you love a good butt.”

“Dax! For real! I’m being serious!”

“I know, I know, I can’t help it, you know me when there’s a chance for an inappropriate joke, I gotta jump on it ay.”

“Not the time man. Anyway. I couln’t tell what was setting me off either, but I just got more and more uneasy as we went through the tour.”

“Yeah me too Jen-o. That’s why I asked ol’ Blueberry Slenderman about the AI. I wanted to see if there was a difference between when he was on-script versus off it.”

“And?”

“Did ya notice the darker purpley markings on his hands and neck?”

“Yeah…”

“Well, they change color slightly- they get darker and lighter. I thought I was seeing things at first, but that last bit confirmed it.”

“So what, his skin changes colors a little. Loads of aliens have that.”

“Right, they do, but this one’s interesting, because the minute we walked through the facility doors, he started lying to us. Right up until I asked him about the AI. And even then, he lied about something in that explanation of what it is.”

“Well duh, of course he was lying- probably not our definition of it though; if his spots react to deception like our pupils do, it could’ve been a reaction to the fact that there’s a lot more going on here than he was covering in the tour, a lot of it’s classified, and a lot of it he’s saving for tomorrow! Doesn’t mean he’s like lying lying.”

“I hope you’re right Jen-o. I hope you’re right.” Dax sighed. She was probably right. She usually was; Jenny had good instincts. Probably one of the reasons she was here to begin with. Then again, so did he. Instincts that had saved his life on more than one occasion, so Dax had learned to trust his gut. And something was definitely not right about this place. 

He just hoped it didn’t bite them in the ass.

I've been feeling so stuck lately.

I ran a fever today, which honestly isn't unusual for me since I get low grade fevers from time to time. My body likes to freak out on me. Because I dont have a ln actual diagnosis for what I go through I feel like it drives me a bit nuts. I tell doctors what I can remember, but honestly I've lived.my whole life thinking most of the things I felt and experienced were normal and doctors are so uninterested, unmotivated and unwilling it makes the mundane task seem so painful. Its even more painful when you tell them for years you have these symptoms and they only write down what they think is necessary enough to explore. The rest is dismissed as being anxious, paranoid, dramatic... its ironic isn't it? How you go to get help and these very people continue to perpetuate the pain and suffering you go through. I wouldn't go down such spirals if I had answers.

The craziest part is when you have been doing research all your life, and having lived experience with chronic physical and mental conditions... but because I appear fine on the outside, to someone who doesn't know a this about me.... to deny me is absurd. I wouldn't designate a label that isn't meant for me, but this ableism in the medic field... it needs to stop. The stigmas need to stop. Doctors need to understand that its okay to not have all the answers. Whats not okay is harming them further by gaslighting, invalidating peoples lived experiences. Where is the compassion?

We as patients, as people, can be highly aware of our issues where as some arent. I happen to be someone who's highly self aware. I observe everything from sensations to what and how I feel... I monitor my own person. I once saw a post that said "having anxiety is being hyperspace of your own existence" and they really hit the nail on the head there. I feel my anxiety stems from be being highly sensitive to what I feel and my surroundings.. I feel anxiety is just a symptom of other conditions...

It drives me crazy that I am only realizing how many signs were missed. How did people not notice? I had to learn to adapt all my life on my own... immersed in it day by day I learned to survive. It hurts me almost everyday. Im learning to let go of this feeling. This feeling that I was a victim of the system that couldn't understand me, rejected me. It made it harder to understand myself throughout the years. But now I understand..

I know that as the years go by and im alive i learn more, and I know that doctors do too.

Despite all I have been through, and still continue to go though, I push through this painful existence hoping one day, ill actually be seen. And that ill be in the hands of a doctor who won't judge me when I tell them my concerns... cause I have many.

I literally stayed up all night the other night cause I couldn't sleep.. trying to remember to document articles of research I find trying to keep them saved on favorites. I often forget how to find the favorites page so I started a notes with the links.

I started doing this in the event a doctor tries to get smart with me... I truly don't have the patience or bandwidth for it anymore. They dont do it in a nice way. They do it in a condescending way. At least the people ive dealt with..

I am a person who was born female so naturally... this is fucking oppressive as is.

I tried talking to my mom about me being Autistic and having adhd, and how im finally accepting it because for years I had "episodes" which i now know, were fucking meltdowns.

I could go on about it, but I dont want to get off topic.

My mother asked me "wow so you finally got diagnosed?"

The last time I went to an Evaluation the man I met with was a total douche who told me I was a hypochondriac had conversion disorder and my anxiety was what was causing everything... He also went off my previous diagnosis and asked me very broad questions about their symptoms to which I replied yes or no... I met with this man for less than 20 minutes and he literally went off my old diagnosis.

He knew nothing about me other than what we talked about and my previous medical records. He made stigmatizing statements when I told him about my body pains and how its possible fibromyalgia, he said he doesnt diagnose women til their thirties.

When I mentioned that I suspect im autistic he basically laughed in my face and told me im not autistic and if I want to see "the autism room" so I can "see" what "autism looks like"

I didn't contact these people back for a long time after that because it took so long to process.... medical gaslighting is real. And gaslighting in itself is insidious as it makes our imposter syndrome so much worse. We question our own existence and realities which attributes to even more mental and physical anguish... psychologically so damaging and these people have no idea.

I think I may have a case with them.. but anyways...

I learned to live in this mind. In this body. In this life to the best of my knowledge and abilities. I have to remind myself its not my fault im chronically overwhelmed or feeling behind. Im coming to terms to the fact that I am disabled. I hate to limit myself, but I have to acknowledge this in order to accept myself and release the internalized abelism.

I have to accept that I never was and never will be like other people and that's okay.

I also need reminder that being diagnosed doesn't make you (autistic). Being (autistic) makes you (autistic).

I put autistic in parentheses because you can literally change it out and tweak it to fit almost any medical condition and it holds true.

Anyways im signing off. I think I've done enough ranting for the night.

Perhaps I'll rant again and plunge deeper. I try to not give to many details but as a neurodivergent person I can't help but go on tangents at times. I'll forget what I thought if I dont write them down, so letting my brain puke words is the best mental exercise I can give myself.

If I do end up seeing a therapist, it makes it alot easier to sort myself.

I have also been trying to orient my mind with art. I try to think of the art I can make .. but when the time comes, im blank. All these ideas for my mind to run into a wall...

Sometimes I wish I had a therapist as a friend.. or a psychiatrist.

It would be good to have someone invested in you the way a friend would ... signing off

Hey guys! Your blog is absolutely a place of comfort in the world, especially these days for me when I have fears implemented about my weight, and honestly stress from home regarding it (which happens on occasion) hasn’t been easy to cope with until I come back and see your posts and answers from others comforting them too… so thank you :) I’ve honestly try helping others feeling better about their body image on the internet too! It absolutely hurts that we’re told that ‘being fat is terrible in society’. I apologise if I do go a bit off topic onwards (also please keep this anonymous!) I have not really had the opportunity to open up to anyone regarding all of this at once.

I was told apparently some relatives died of diabetes long time back and also on the other half of my family I could have heart disease… and since yesterday I’ve never felt so stressed and worried because of my parent’s implementing that fear… (like how apparently my legs could get cut off because of diabetes because I’ll have trouble standing up properly and etc. according to dad) I mean it really scares me these days… I have seen comforting posts from ok2befat and on occasion bigfatscience, but now…

And on top of that they had doubts about doing anything for myself (i.e. getting a job, which is hard to get where I live unfortunately). And that came from a lack of confidence in the past, before I gained weight. Being incredibly shy and etc. I still don’t know how to develop confidence so it’s 'permanent’ if there is such thing. I personally don’t regard weight as a problem to myself as why I don’t find much real life friends… And it was definite when I gained weight I did not have doubts or terrible moments about myself caused by people outside at home. (I was expected to lose weight apparently 'buying more clothes’ wasn’t the answer to… whatever the question was). When I decided 'screw it, I’m almost an adult, I’m buying clothes myself’ (this was months back), I never got commended for taking it upon myself to go out, on my own, and buy myself a new pair of jeans for the season. Instead, I was told 'I hope you don’t go up to a size x’. (Honestly I love having a bigger body, and it’s better than when I was skinnier in all honesty).

My parents are fatphobic unfortunately…mum mid-June last year blamed the fact I was on a PC all the time for my weight gain (which was not true since I use to always be underweight even doing the same thing as before), and also I think my mum… 'concern trolled’ me November in the same year (about how I’ll have medical problems in the future), given that I did not want to take a blood test at the doctors (my mum forced me to go to the doctors prior by booking an appointment meant for both of us, she never had her part at all and later that day I tried ignoring her whilst forcing out a conversation on me). They never mentioned the word fat around me (replaced with big), but dad did strike the term 'obesity’ on me Mid-June last year once from how I was eating at a fast food place on that day I went out with him. I’m often encouraged these days to take a walk, but it actually discourages me (I always felt my parents were a bad influence since a long time back); if I want to do something, I’ll do it. But they’re under the belief I’m not going to do anything about myself like get apply for jobs or go out more often or anything (it’s not easy hitting that send resume button for a job if it’s something I cannot handle; I want to start at places which in a sense, 'easy’ starting points to develop myself. So in a way I’m kinda ruined if my parents can’t understand, and no welfare support doesn’t help either since I’m not 'financially supported’ either.

Also one person I don’t believe I’ve seen anyone ask or warn about in terms of media promoting fat people in a negative term: Dashiegames/DashieXP on YouTube. He is no doubt funny, but he does sometimes make some fatphobic jokes (in a Tekken gameplay, he’s fighting off a character called Bob, and Dashie said something like 'he should be called BLOB’.) But from a Mario gameplay he did, he mentioned something like 'it’s okay to poke fun at yourself’ (he is an overweight person himself apparently? He is on the bigger side, and was referring to himself). So a heads up; unless you really need some smiles and to laugh at someone raging out in a game or horror game reactions, he has been for me brilliant, BUT I wouldn’t recommend if you are gonna get offended by the occasional jokes. I’m not too sure on his ableist language either, I haven’t actually paid attention.

I truly am sorry if I said so much… like I said, it’s hard to open up to people these days, it sucks :( Also if I said anything ableist (I don’t think I did but I’m very careful about it these days).

Hey, There Thank you so much for taking the time and finding the courage to post here. As promised, I kept it semi-anonymous. I’m re-blogging it under me rather than where you posted it from.   You had a lot to get off your chest! Nothing wrong with that, but I will try my best to keep up. And lets start with your health. 

M, While your parents have good intentions, they’re horribly fatphobic. I’m glad you are well aware of this.  I also hope you know that you do not have to put up with their behavior. Being all about Social Justice is not a bad thing [ I dont know why people try and make it a bad thing ] . And i’m glad you’re fighting the good fight to make sure everyone is created equal. 

As far as the health issues with your family,  Correlation doesn't always mean causation. Being fat doesn't always automatically put you at risk for having these. In Fact ,  with this situation I believe you would most likely have issues with heart or diabetes because of family history rather than being fat. There are plenty of people who are not fat and have those issues because of it being hereditary, just like there are plenty of fat people who do not have these issues because of their weight.  Even as far as losing a limb, No worries! You’re talking to a fat amputee here! :) Been one since I was a kid [ both chubby + amputee ] .... and while it may take some time to get used to, you have someone as support. Not that i’m saying I want this for you.. .but if we’re talking worst case scenarios, you got me on your side!

Still, with those two on your side, it doesn't hurt to look into ways to make your life easier [only if you wish to]. There are plenty of sites that offer healthy living for diabetes prevention and heart health. But, please please please  Focus on how you feel rather than what the scale tells you. There are so many stories people share here where followers get blind sighted on weight loss that they invalidate the hard work and choices they make, almost to the point where they end up unhealthier than when they started! 

Mental health is just as important as physical health. Learning what your limits out, strengthening your coping skills and overall self care is the key to make the other aspects of your life easier. I saw that you were following @coping-skill-toolkit [ *shameful self-plug* ] and I hope I can help you build that knowledge to be kind to yourself so you can continue to be awesome.  And yes, that includes opening up to the right kind of people, like us! We’re here to help you fight fatphobia of all kinds . Thanksgiving turned into Christmas, Christmas turned into Easter and before you knew it, Jensen was once again wrapping up another season of Supernatural. Your eight months were up, but so far you had barely noticed the illness, your body was a little weaker and you had very little energy, to the point where you needed to nap every day, but other than that you felt fine. You went to the hospital once a month to get an evaluation on how the cancer was spreading, and for some reason it had slowed down a little. It was still aggressive and Dr. Hansen always informed you that it was spreading, making sure you didn't get your hopes up for anything. The outcome would still be the same, but you had gained a little more time.

“What did the good doctor tell you today?” Jensen asked as he Skyped you during one of his breaks up in Vancouver.

“Nothing we don't already know. He seems to think that I will start feeling worse soon, and he wanted to put me on a higher dose of cortisone,” you explained. The cortisone was there to help with pain in your joints, the only side effect was that it made your bones more fragile. “He's still a little shocked that I'm alive I think,” you chuckled.

“Did he say anything about how much time he thinks you have left?”

“No, anything between a couple of months and half a year. He did tell me that once I start to feel sick, it will probably be fast.” That little fact eased your mind a little, the worst thing you could think of was to just lay in a bed and wait for death, you couldn't imagine a worse fate than that.

You heard a few muffled voices through your computer as Jensen's eyes started traveling the room he was in. “I'm really sorry babe, but I have to go. I'll call you later if I get a chance. We’re gonna try and wrap things up tonight so that we can go back home tomorrow.”

“Really?” you said excitedly. “Then you go knock ‘em dead.”

“I love you, (YN),” he said, blowing a kiss your way.

“I love you too, Jay.”

When you woke up the next morning, the smell of bacon, waffles and coffee hit you nose. A wide smile spread across your face as you got out of bed and padded downstairs, wearing a pair of Jensen's boxers and one of his t-shirts. This was something you did every time he was away, the smell of him was a way to keep him close even when he wasn't here.

A squeal of delight escaped you as you saw him standing by the stove. He turned towards you with a wide smile and you couldn't help but throw yourself into his arms. It hadn't been more than three days since you saw him last, but knowing that your time was limited, you wanted to soak up every possible moment with him.

He wrapped his arms around you and picked you up from the ground, kissing you deeply. “I've missed you,” he whispered as he put you back down, leaning his forehead against yours.

“Right back at you,” you smiled.

It was a great feeling to have him back, and knowing that he wouldn't have to leave again in three months. The two of you sat down to have breakfast and he filled you in on the whirlwind that had been the past few days. He looked exhausted, but he kept reassuring you that he was fine. It was a truly peaceful morning.

“Honey, your nose is bleeding,” Jensen said suddenly, the smile on his face replaced by a worried look.

“What?” you said, instinctively drawing a finger under your nose, leaving a crimson mark on it.

You got up from your chair and headed for the bathroom, stopping in front of the large mirror there. The blood was pouring from your nose. You took a washcloth and wet it with cold water before pressing it to your nose. You didn't have any pain at all, just massive amounts of blood. Your eyes met Jensen's through the mirror, the look on your face telling him that this was a brand new experience. Your head started spinning and your mouth filled with saliva, your knees had barely touched the floor when you emptied the content of your stomach into the toilet. Jensen was quick to get your hair out of the way as well as stroking soft circles on your back. You were barely done with round one before you felt it coming again, this time it was just blood.

You sat in the bathroom for about an hour before you felt strong enough to get back up on your feet. Jensen helped you back into the living room before he went to the kitchen to get you some more water and a bucket incase you started to feel nauseous again, he also handed you your phone that had two missed calls from Dr. Hansens office.

“Hey, Dr. Hansen, it's (YN) (YLN) calling,” you said as he answered his phone.

“Good morning. I'm really glad I got a hold of you,” he said, relief in his voice. “I examined your MRI again last night, because something didn't seem quite right to me, and I discovered that there is a tumor in you stomach. It's very small still, and it wasn't there last month, but it can still cause a lot of problems for you.”

“Can that explain why I just vomited blood?” you asked, already knowing the answer.

“Yes,” he confirmed. “I would like you to come into the hospital so we can run a few more tests. It would be preferable if we could keep you overnight so that we can monitor you properly.”

“I'll be there soon. Thanks doctor.”

Jensen helped you pack your bags and took you to the hospital. You could see the worry in his eyes and it broke your heart that you couldn't offer him any sort of comfort. Everything was very uncertain at this point, but you hoped that you would know more in a couple of hours.

The first thing that happened was that they wheeled you off to get more scans done and Jensen was shown to a private waiting area. The first thing he did was send a text to his best friend.

(YN) was just admitted into hospital and they’re telling us that she has a tumor in her stomach. They took her away to do some tests now, so hopefully we’ll know more in a few hours. Call me when you get this please.

Jared was probably sound asleep at home, but Jensen needed to let someone know what was going on, he wasn't equipped to handle this on his own. He was surprised that his phone dinged with a text just a minute later.

Jared is on his way and will be there soon. Let me know if there's anything I can do. And keep me updated.

It was from Gen. A little wave of relief washed over him, knowing that he wouldn't be alone here for too long.

The hours passed by without any news, Jensen had taken to pacing the floor while Jared tried to come up with any comforting words, but all he could really do was be there for his friend.

They had been there over five hours when Dr. Hansen finally came back. “Mr. Ackles, can I talk to you for a moment?”

“Jared is family too, just tell us what's going on,” Jensen pressed.

“Okay. We did an MRI of your wife’s body two days ago and as you know I discovered a small tumor in her stomach. We did another MRI scan today and after looking it over with a few of my colleagues now, I'm sorry to inform you that there are now more tumors than we can count.”

“How is that even possible?” Jensen asked angrily. “Two days ago there was one tumor and now there are so many that you can't even count them??”

“Unfortunately that can happen with the more aggressive types of cancer, like the one your wife has,” Dr. Hansen explained calmly.

“But you told us that it had slowed down.”

“Yes. But this is a very unpredictable illness, Mr, Ackles. We can't always know how it will affect every patient.”

“What does this mean for (YN)?” Jared asked carefully, placing a reassuring hand on Jensen's shoulder.

“It means that we have to put her on intravenous nutrition and fluids. We want to keep her here tonight, but then she can decide tomorrow if she wants to go home or not.”

“This is the beginning of the end isn't it?” Jensen questioned, mostly to himself.  

“Unfortunately, yes,” Dr. Hansen confirmed. “Just how much time she has, I dare not guess, but a couple of weeks tops.”

“I want to see her,” Jensen demanded. He felt like all the air had been sucked from the room, and the only thing that could fill his lungs with air again was you.

“Of course.”

Jensen followed your doctor down the hallway and to your room, stopping in front of your door. He warned the two men that you had gotten a lot of pain medications and that you might be a little out of it. Jared took a seat in a nearby chair, letting Jensen know he was right there if he needed him.

“Hey, beautiful,” Jensen said in a low voice as he approached the bed you were lying in. It was hard seeing you like that, with wires and tubes coming from your body, the steady beep of the heart monitor did little to comfort him at this moment.

“It's not as bad as it looks,” you tried with half a smile. The meds they had given you made you feel a little light headed, almost a little tipsy. “Did Dr. Hansen find you?”

“He did,” Jensen said after he had kissed you and taken a seat in the chair next to your bed.

“I asked him if he could explain everything to you, because I'm not quite sure I understood everything myself,” you admitted, taking his hand in yours. The emerald orbs that met your gaze was swimming in unshed tears, not a trace of the happy man he was just a few hours ago, the twinkle in his eyes all gone. “Please don't be sad, Jay.”

“I'm sorry,” he said in a thick voice. “I'm trying to be strong for you, but it's getting harder by the minute.” His voice cracked at the end and tears started dripping from his eyes. “I can't lose you.”

Jensen gently placed his head down by your hand, if it was to hide his tears or not you didn't know. You ran your fingers through his short hair as you let your own silent tears fall. “You don't have to hide from me, Jay. You don't have to pretend,” you whispered, your bottom lip trembling. “Please come here.” You inched further away from him to make room for him to climb in, which he did. He wrapped his arm around you as you cuddled into his side, your head resting on his chest as you listened to the slow and steady beat of his heart.

“Have you thought about what you want to do? If you’re gonna stay here or go home?” Jensen asked after what felt like hours.

“I think I want to go home. Dr. Hansen said they will come and set up the equipment at my house and that I will have a nurse there at all hours as well as two or three doctor visits a day,” you explained. The thought of being stuck in this sterile room, that the last thing you would see was the inside of this room, terrified you. “But only if you feel comfortable with it. I would never force this on you.”

“If you want to go home, we go home.” Jensen laced his fingers with yours, kissing the top of your head sweetly.

Jared offered to go back to your house and help them prepare for your home coming, so that Jensen wouldn't have to leave your side. Jensen knew that every second he got to spend with you now was precious, and nothing could tear him from your side.

hi, i'm really glad you're back and i'm sorry for all that happened, but i have to ask.. could you, if you don't mind, say some more details or examples about what has been happening/happened before you got help? because while reading about your experiences, it seemed like you were describing me, but like in worse state. So i also want to ask, should i also get checked somehow or do you think that it won't develope to that kind of a worse... illness?

so, i’m not a psychiatrist. im just some kid with a sickness. so i have no idea how you are and what you may be but i can definitely describe what my experience with schizophrenia is like? and i have minor symptoms in some areas, so ill also describe what they can be. 

also, for the second half of your question, you really have to look at yourself. are these symptoms something you worry about, or do they affect your daily life? are they causing problems for you? have they changed your behavior? because they might be strong enough to consider seeing a psychiatrist. you could talk to a doctor and see if they can find a psychiatrist? or try to make an appointment with one? a consultation or somth might provide some answers, and you could take it from there if it is something to worry about. 

hallucination- ive been having minor auditory hallucinations since i was little. i hear buzzing, knocking, clicking, and thumping that no one else hears. as a kid, i complained about my ‘brain creaking’ and was kept up at night feeling that someone was knocking on the walls, or the front door. i know these are in my head because ive learned to check them- i move my head left and right, and if the sound changes, i can tell that it is outside my head. 

however, some people hallucinate voices. they could hear anywhere from whispering to yelling, one to many voices. ive met other people with voices and they really take up their heads. command voices are the worst of them, voices that tell the person to hurt themselves, hurt others, or voices that say terrible and offensive things. 

visual hallucinations for me would be two things. my main hallucination is a tall, smoky man made of black sticks and mist. his name is the Cornish Man. when i was having my psychotic episodes, i would see him outside the window or past the fence, waiting for me. i also was deluded; i knew that he was going to hurt me, and that he was Death. i knew that the moment i relaxed, he would come to hurt me. minor hallucinations of mine would be seeing pieces of him in my peripherals, things moving in dark areas, and pulsing of objects in low light. 

other people can experience really any other hallucinations- theyre just something you see that others dont. i dont really know other people with visual hallucinations so i cant really provide explanations

paranoia- i was paranoid about several things- i believed that the government collected peoples DNA for some sinister purpose, and because of this refused to give blood or leave things like band-aids or other things with my dna on them in public trash cans, etc. as well, i believed that not only was i being watched by the Cornish Man, but i was also being watched by a ton of other people. i felt their eyes on my back everywhere i went. i couldn’t sit with my back to a window. the blinds were usually drawn in any room i was in, especially at night. i also feared mind readers. i thought that my brain wasnt private, and would suddenly ‘scream’ in my head to see if anyone around me was surprised, if they had been reading my mind. finally, i also knew that microphones and video cameras were hidden in rooms, and routinely checked for them. i refused anyone who told me that they werent there. 

i think that there are a lot of different paranoias, but mine were pretty textbook? 

oh yeah btw, im using past tense because my meds have really helped me have a clearer head, but i still cant shake some of my symptoms. im just trying to used past tense so that i can try to put them ‘behind’ me. 

delusion- delusions for me were very similar to my paranoias. i was deluded into thinking these were true. as well, i was very stuck in the idea that people were out to get me. however, for other people, they may be deluded into thinking they are a god, robot, all sorts of things. 

thoughts- for a long time, my thoughts were very disorganized. i jumped from one topic to th next very quickly, used made up or mashed together words, and lost focus and my train of thought (this made if very hard to write my stories) 

as well, i was very socially… distant? i was not very emotional and most of my interactions were forced. ive never truly felt romantic feelings towards someone? all of the things ive been talking about on here were just like, surface vanities? i was trying very hard to feel these things, so i acted like i did. it never worked though. i never really felt anything. when funny or sad things were happening, i had to mock the facial expression i was supposed to do. most of the time, had i not been mocking, i would have been straight faced and uninterested. 

there are lots of other symptoms of schizophrenia. these are jus the main ones that ive experienced and met others that do. please look them up on your own on trustworthy websites because of course, again. im just some kid with a keyboard. im no doctor, not a professional.

For some reason, the insurance coverage I have seems to go up every year (and because I moved recently it jumped up another $60 a month). My wife and I get crappy coverage on top of it. I purchased car insurance from RAC last year, they then annulled it as said I could not use my no claims bonus on two cars and sent me a new quote. Recently my landlord sent tenants a letter stating we have to buy renter's insurance, stating that California Civil Code 827 allows them to do this. Looking it up, I see 827 is about rent increased, not renter's insurance (and nothing about anything being mandatory). Hello .. I would like to listen to your opinios regarding this situation that has turned into a nightmare for me !!! I spent few months in Australia.. I have a full driving license.. I was driving on the M4.. I had 2 cars in front of me .. I was in the last car in the row ( third car ) .. the car in the front ( First car ) has braked suddenly .. The car in the middle ( second car ) hit it causing it much damage .. I could not stop at the right time and i hit the middle car afterwards .. Now .. The man in the middle car has lied to his insurance company and said that he stopped at the right time but when i hit him i made his car jump to the front and hit the front car .. I have now 2 insurance companies chasing me for money and treat me as a hunt because i had no third party property damage at the time of the accident .. My understanding was that the greenslip covers these things but actually they dont .. I have received bills from both companies.. 7000 AUD for the front car and 2000 for the middle car .. The details of repairs in the middle car ( that i hit on a very low speed) shows that damage at the rear of the car cost only 427 AUD and i offered them to pay it .. They refused and threatened me to go to court.. The police did not come at the place of the accident .. What do you think i should do?! How strong will be my situation at the court ?!

Ok, so this is a little complicated... Oct 2008 I had a car accident. My car was written off. My car was towed to a garage and was held there while the insurance company evaluated the damage. THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I SAW MY CAR. Because the size of my excess (800) and the amount of damage matched the value of the car (800) I was advised it would be pointless to claim on the insurance and it was written off. The accident was my fault and I held my hands up and admitted it and the other party walked away with everything sorted. No suggestion of fraud and certainly nothing fraudulent on my part. Towards the end of 2008 my insurance company started falling off the radar, not returning my calls or my emails, letters etc. I repeatedly asked what I was supposed to do next (I'd never had an accident before and the whole process confused me because they kept giving me conflicting info) and where my car was. I was ignored (or given incorrect info). In the end I declared a SORN on the car and had so much going on in my personal life, I forgot about it, knowing the car was off the road. Anyway, I'm now trying to track the car down as the SORN is about to run out. Insurance company are still off the radar and refusing to answer. Now they're saying they have no record of me, my policy OR my car. So I've lost my car, I don't know who's got it and yet I'm still liable for it. What can I do? Can I get the police involved? Trading standards? ANYTHING? I don't care about the car, whoever has it can keep it! I just don't want to be liable for it!
