Just One Dance
Summary: Steve bumps into you after dropping Dustin off at the Snowball and decides to stop and catch up, unintentionally uprooting long forgotten feelings within the both of you.
Fic Flavor: Childhood friends to lovers(kinda), mutual pinning, mild angst
Word Count: 5,316
As Steve pulled away from the gym entrance, jaw clenched, he spotted a familiar form in the distance, one he hadn't taken in for a while. You were perched on the edge of the sidewalk, your leather jacket pulled tight around your body and a cigarette in hand. He frowned, this was an odd hour to be sitting alone outside. With recent events weighing heavily in his mind, he pulled up to park about a yard away. He'd just check up on you, maybe offer to give you a ride home, just in case. He only harbored fond memories of you and the thought of something bad happening to another person he knew made his stomach turn.
As he approached, you didn’t take notice. A skateboard, your skateboard, sat upside-down on the road, pushed against the sidewalk. The bottom was decorated and seemingly hand painted, your name in an edgy font surrounded by haphazard doodles of skulls and flowers and all sorts of other clashing designs. Your shoulders jumped slightly when you finally became aware of his presence.
"Uh- hey." He greeted awkwardly, hands clenching and unclenching at his sides.
Much to his relief, a wide grin split across your face. "Well, well, well, if it isn't King Steve, in the flesh."
He scoffed lightly at the faux title, choosing pointedly to not comment on it; the only thing he'd felt like "the king" of lately was the losers. "Glad to see you haven't changed too much, (Y/N)."
Which isn't to say you hadn't changed at all, you held yourself very differently than the last time you had really talked. You sported some new piercings and dark eye makeup that made the color of your eyes pop. A couple chains hung loosely at your belt loops and a few wrapped about your neck. The alternative style you'd taken to was starkly different to the softer, preppier one you had worn the last time he had checked, but then again that was, what, eighth grade? He tried to not be too surprised. You seemed much more comfortable in your skin now anyways; it was pleasant to see.
"What's Mr. Harrington doing out here all alone on this fine night, hm?" You tilted your head with a smirk.
He scratched the back of his neck. "Just dropping off a, uh, friend at the Snowball." It felt a little weird to call Dustin a friend, but at this point it would be weirder to call him anything but.
"Ah," You grimaced slightly, "s'that why you look like a kicked puppy?"
"What?" He snapped, a little more irritably than he had meant to, immediately regretting the tone.
Thankfully, you held your hands up in mock surrender and chuckled. "Sorry, I just saw Nancy in there and assumed. Teach me to make assumptions."
"No it's-" He sighed, dragging a hand down his face, "it's fine, I'm sorry."
You shifted a bit and leaned back on your free hand. "You are forgiven, your highness. Care to take a seat with a lowly peasant, have a smoke?" You offered up the cigarette with a friendly grin.
He sat next to you gratefully, hesitating a moment before taking the cigarette from you and taking a long drag. The quiet between you was filled with the distant thrum of music wafting from the gym. Your shoes tapped the pavement, but there was no anxiety to the movement; it was more like you were bursting with energy that your body was hardly containing. It had always been like that with you, though you had tamped it down more in your younger years.
"Do you remember our Snowball?" You suddenly spoke up, a fond smile on your lips. You weren't looking at him, but at the hole in the thigh of your black jeans, which you were picking at with bored hands.
"Uh, kind of." He shrugged, the memory felt so distant now.
Suddenly your gaze shot up, your grin widening impossibly. "Wait, do you not remember?"
He blinked at you, brows slowly knitting together as he tried to scrounge for what you could be talking about.
You laughed easily, catching yourself on his shoulder as you leaned back from the intensity of the movement. "Holy shit, you really don't! That's fucking wild!"
"What are you talking about?" He finally relented, cheeks flushing lightly with embarrassment. You gently plucked the cigarette from his hand, taking a short pull from it before pushing the smoke through your teeth.
"Way back when, I asked you to go to the Snowball with me. You said yes." You snickered as you watched recognition slowly leak back into his face. "Then, when we got there, you completely ignored me. Didn't even dance with me once."
Guilt boiled through his stomach and up his chest, remembering vaguely with horror. "Oh, God, right. I- I'm so sorry-"
"Don't be!" You laughed again. He didn't understand, especially as you propped a warm arm up on his shoulder, looking up into the sky with a fond expression on your face. "It's kinda funny now. I mean, obviously it was absolutely devastating at the time, but now I look back at it and laugh. I mean, what did I think would happen?"
His frown deepened, confusion marking up his face. "How is that funny?"
Your smile didn't falter as you turned your gaze to him. "Just- what did I expect? You're Steve Harrington and I'm- well, I'm me." You shook your head and chuckled, lowering your gaze to your lap. You sucked in another breath of smoke and blew it out of the corner of your mouth. He didn’t miss how you used the present tense in your statement, implying that this was still a current dilemma.
Quiet fell over you once more, but this time there was a mild tension to it. Steve floundered for a way to express the thoughts in his head as he recalled that night.
"I'm sorry I did that to you, it was really shitty of me to ditch you." He spoke genuinely, picking at the sidewalk.
You glanced at him with a funny look and you shook your head. "Nah, there's no hard feelings, really. I just get it now, y'know?" You shrugged. "It's probably for the best you crushed that when you did, we would've never ended up suiting each other."
"What does that mean?" It stressed him out how casually you sold yourself short. You tapped the ashes off of the tip of the cigarette on the thick sole of your shoe and placed it into his hand in favor of toying with a safety pin on your jacket.
“I really liked you, Steve. Like, a lot.” You smiled. Before he could respond, you continued on. “But, if you had indulged me even a little, I’m certain things would have turned out much worse. You let me down arguably easily, I never would’ve survived the popularity you garnered.”
He let the words settle in for a bit before he shook his head. “I wouldn’t have let anyone give you shit.”
You smiled appreciatively, but still mirrored him with the shake of your head. “Nah, look at us. You would have been a social outcast just from being around me. It’s better like this. I’d rather us be distant than ruining everything over some stupid, shitty eighth grade break-up anyways.” You laughed.
“I guess… I just feel bad for screwing you over, even just as a friend.”
"Don't worry, Stevie. You'll find a nice girl to settle down with, make a little family, and I'll- I don't know, find someone more my speed. Things will work out one day."
He rolled the cigarette between his fingers in thought, swallowing hard. Why did that sting so badly? He hadn't thought about you like that in years and yet it hurt to be written as completely incompatible, for you to paint your respective futures without the other in them. He knew you hadn’t really talked in years, but that didn’t mean you couldn’t start again, especially with how well things were going tonight. He took one more drag before putting out the stump of the cigarette, discarding it in the street. The two of you listened to the music, a light hum starting in your throat.
"I actually did want to dance with you." He suddenly confessed. You gave him a confused look and his cheeks burned under your gaze, a hand scratching at his neck. "At the Snowball. I remember thinking that you looked really pretty and uh, I wanted to dance with you. Really badly. But I-" he coughed into his fist anxiously. "I let my friends talk me out of it. Which fucking sucks and was really rude, and even though you say it's fine I'm still sorry."
Your lips parted slightly, something unknown sparkling in your eyes. As he finished speaking, you smiled warmly and let your cheek press to his shoulder, almost like you were hiding.
"Thanks, Steve…" Your voice was softer than before.
"Yeah…" He replied, tentatively wrapping his arm around your back to softly grip your forearm on your far side. The silence rolled back in, but it was softer this time, and lasted much longer.
"I'm sorry about Nancy, by the way." You spoke quietly, hands fiddling in your lap. "I was- uh, I saw you guys kind of get into it at that dumb Halloween party. And then I saw you leave without her and Jonathan and-" you sucked in a breath, like you'd said too much. "Yeah, I'm just sorry."
He squeezed your arm lightly, swallowing the lump in his throat before replying simply with, "S'fine."
You chewed your lip for a long pause, but when the distant song changed to something slower, you suddenly sat up straight; Steve quickly missed your warmth.
"Well, I believe you owe me a dance." You grinned brightly at him and held out a hand.
He stared into your scraped up palm, bewildered at the sudden change in mood. "What?"
"Hey, it's the night of the Snowball, I'm dressed in my best,” you gestured to yourself almost sarcastically, “and you always look good,” you gestured to him, sounding a hair more sincere, “and you owe me at least one dance." You snickered and pushed yourself to your feet, offering up your hand again. "Unless, of course, you've suddenly decided you don't want to associate with undesirables."
He rolled his eyes and took your hand, albeit gently to accommodate for the scuffs there. "Stop talking like that, I'm not really that much of anything anymore, and you’re not," he scrunched his face up and shook his head, “undesirable.”
You tugged him to his feet with surprising strength, and he was mildly grateful for your thick-soled shoes; it put you at the perfect height difference, which made it easier to dance. You guided one of his hands to your waist and trailed your fingers lightly up his arm to rest on his shoulder. The two of you slowly began swaying awkwardly, a little stilted and bodies just a little too far away from each other.
You laughed sweetly, head thrown back in a way that exposed the pretty skin of your throat. "Harrington, I don't think any teachers are gonna come tell us off if we get a little closer. I didn't take you for being shy." That smirk pulled back onto your face.
He rolled his eyes, cheeks burning hot as you stepped into his space without hesitation. He released your waist and brought your joined hands above your head to give you a quick spin.
"How's that for shy, huh?" He said as his hands returned to their previous placement.
You only laughed again in response.
As you both relaxed, you slowly drifted closer and closer, as if being drawn together by an invisible string. Soon, your head was pressed to his chest, his hand released in favor of joining your other hand behind his neck. Both of his hands stayed respectfully on your waist, his chin lightly pressed to the top of your head. While you swayed, he was suddenly very glad he had decided to stop and talk to you. That reminded him, however, of the reason he'd stopped in the first place.
"(Y/N)?"
"Yeah?" Your voice was like a fluffy blanket, soft and warm.
"Why were you sitting out here alone?"
You laughed shortly, leaning up to his ear. "To be honest?" You hesitated, voice shaking with hardly contained humor, with an ever widening smile. "I ate shit while riding my skateboard around and was trying to pick the gravel out of my body, but it made me nauseous so I stopped."
"Oh my God." Steve laughed through the words, delighting in the way you hung off of him as you lost it. You hid your face in his shirt, muffling the high, hysterical sounds of your giggles.
"Do you want a ride home after this, then?"
You looked up with tears of laughter in your eyes. "I thought you'd never ask.”
Despite your protests of being okay to walk on your own, he helped you into the passenger seat of his car, giving your hands a light squeeze before drawing back to shut the door and head over to the driver's side.
"So, how's about we head over to my place to patch you up first, hm?" He spoke as he pulled onto the road. "It's pretty late, though." He added, more to himself than to you.
You chuckled, "Sure, Steve. My parents aren't home anyways, they won't even notice."
He nodded knowingly. Some things never change, and that had been one of the reasons you two had originally gotten so close in eighth grade. Neither of your parents were ever home, so you'd just walk to each other's houses after school. Sometimes just to hang out, but mostly to spend the night. It made you both feel just a bit safer, to have another body in the house with you. He realized how much he had sorely missed that feeling of security as he pulled up to his house.
"Do you… do you wanna stay the night?" He cleared his throat and tried to sound more confident than he actually was. You winced and opened your mouth to reply when he suddenly realized how charged with implications that question now was.
"Not to like- not like that, just, y'know," His voice died as he concentrated on parking the car and finally turned to look at your hesitant face, "like we used to. Obviously I have the guest room and you can say no of course you can always say no but-"
"Steve," You pressed a reassuring hand to his shoulder, "I'd love to stay the night."
He sent back a small, apologetic, and grateful smile. To be truthful, he hadn't been sleeping very well, if at all. Every time he closed his eyes, all he could see was those things. He heard them between every baited breath, and when his eyes slipped closed, he felt them watching. The rational part of him knew it was all over, that he was probably safe in the confines of his room, that the only creatures he had to worry about in the tender hours of the night were wild animals typical to the area, but he just couldn't shake that feeling. The feeling that he was being watched, that the worst was only yet to come, that something was waiting just beyond their sight, watching, waiting.
"Steve?" Your voice pulled him out of his spiraling thoughts, hand clenched around the cold bathroom doorknob.
"Sorry," He mumbled before twisting the handle and stepping in.
"It's fine," you stated gently, closing the toilet seat and sitting atop it while he dug through cabinets to locate the first-aid kit. "Where were you?"
"What?" He glanced up at you without turning his head.
You waved a hand, lips pursed. "You looked like you were… somewhere else. Somewhere bad."
It took a moment for him to get what you were saying, but once he did a lump formed at the back of his throat. He knelt at your feet, trying to roll up your pant legs with careful consideration for your knees.
"Nowhere, it's fine. I'm just kind of… tired." Not a lie, he felt like his limbs were made of lead.
You hummed, leaning forward to rest an elbow just above your knee and perching your chin on your hand. "This'd be easier if I was wearing shorts. You got anything I could borrow?"
He stood up, relenting and letting your pant leg drop back down to your ankle. "Yeah, I'll be back in a sec."
It was only when he had started digging through his dresser that he realized how readily he agreed to lend you his stuff, how easy you had found it to ask him to. There had been no hesitation, it almost felt natural, like it hadn’t been nearly four years since you’d even spoken a word to each other. He felt something warm in his chest, and he decided to be grateful for the comfortability that still remained between you two.
When he got back, you were picking at the open wounds on your palms, wearing a bored expression. "Stop that, you're gonna make it worse."
You looked up and gave him an award-winning smile of innocence. "Doing what? I've got no clue what you're talking about."
He tossed you the shorts and t-shirt in his hands and headed for the door. "Let me know when you're done changing."
You tilted your head curiously. "Why's there a shirt? Something wrong with mine?"
"Just figured you'd want to sleep in something other than your street clothes, you're free to just give it back." He called over his shoulder before pulling the door shut behind him.
The bathroom was nearly silent behind Steve as he leaned against the wall beside the door. He was almost nodding off when your voice suddenly sounded.
"You can come back in, pretty boy."
The pet name made his cheeks glow with blush, taking a calming breath before opening the door with indifference forced onto his face. It got even harder to keep the expression when he saw you, in his clothes, in his bathroom, staring up at him. Your street clothes were folded neatly on the edge of the sink, your socked feet lightly tapping at the tile. A smirk tugged at your lips, and you were opening your mouth to say something when he quickly ducked the statement to kneel at your feet once more.
"Christ, how were you even standing?" He lightly ghosted his fingers over the bloody gashes at your knees. He pressed his palm just above your knee and stroked the skin there with his thumb. "Why didn't you say something sooner?"
As he looked back up at you, he found your mouth still hanging open, cheeks flushed. You coughed into a fist and cast your gaze to the side. "Looks a lot worse than it actually is."
He scowled lightly. "Really?"
"Yeah, I've experienced worse." You chuckled. "Nothing will compare to when I broke my leg sophomore year." You grinned down at him, an attempt to reassure him gone wrong. "The bone was sticking out, it was pretty sick."
He looked horrified and you laughed, loud and hearty and so very you. "That's terrible."
"It's fine, really. I've recovered, obviously." You chuckled. He finally withdrew to start digging through the first-aid kit, shaking his head in disbelief as he did so. That definitely explained the massive scar on your left knee.
"Okay, here, this'll probably sting a bit, but it's important that we get them as clean as possible." He narrated as he pulled out some hydrogen peroxide. He dug around for a small hand towel and dumped some of the liquid on it.
"I'm a big kid, I'm sure I can handle it."
He shook his head again. "You can squeeze my shoulder if it hurts too bad, and we can always take breaks if you want."
Your grin turned mischievous, "Oh, yeah? You gonna take care of me?" Your flirtatious tone made his face light up like a Christmas light. He quickly pressed the cloth to your right knee.
You gasped loudly, hands flying down to squeeze at his shoulders. "Jesus Christ, Steve! A little warning would've been nice!"
He didn't respond, opting to rub your left thigh apologetically. He would've apologized out loud if he had trusted his voice to not shake. By the time he was done wiping down your knees, you had two fistfulls of his red shirt in each hand. Your makeup was running down your cheeks and neck, forcing yourself to swallow back a pained sound.
"You did such a good job, we're almost done, alright?" He spoke softly, setting down the cloth in favor of antibiotic ointment and bandages. To give you some credit, they did in fact, look a lot worse than they actually were. Still, he hadn't been expecting any reaction less than the one you’d had.
"Give me your hands?" He asked lightly as he finished up bandaging your knees.
You gave him a hesitant look, paired with a sniffle, but extended your hands at his patient expression. He felt you relax in his grip as you realized those didn't hurt nearly as bad as your knees.
"There," He practically breathed the word out, having to clear his throat to continue, "all better."
"Gonna kiss 'em better?" He looked up into your watery grin, and he found himself having to scramble to regain his footing in the situation. He looked back down, and leaned in to press a soft kiss to each knee.
"St-Steve-" you stammered, but you choked on your words as he took your hands into his, looking into your eyes as he pressed light kisses to your palms.
Satisfied with your silence, bright red cheeks, and gaping mouth, he stood. "Better?"
"Y-yeah." Your voice trailed off, quickly glancing into your palms to trace the kisses with your eyes.
"Good, you had anything for dinner yet?"
You shook your head wordlessly, jumping a bit when his hand reached into your view.
"C'mon, I think I can whip something up for us." He didn't actually expect you to take his hand, you would probably just push it away with another hearty laugh. That's what would have made sense with what knowledge he’d gathered on you. You did no such thing, however, taking his hand and letting him pull you to your feet. He felt your hand squeeze at his lightly, lingering just a little longer than what was probably acceptable, and let go.
What was happening? Why were you both acting like this? Steve was absolutely puzzled as you started talking his ear off, it was almost as if none of that had just happened. He was only half listening as you rambled, but you didn't seem to mind his distant expression; you must have just wanted someone to talk to. The entire time all he could think about was how bizarre tonight had turned. He felt almost bad at the fluttering in his chest, but it was kind of soothing and certainly preferential to the ache that had been there earlier in the night.
After dinner, you had cleaned your makeup-smudged face off and gone your separate ways. You had patted Steve's shoulder with a splitting yawn and mumbled out a "G'night." The knowledge that you were in the house with him did less to soothe his nerves than he thought it would, less than it had when you were little. Then again, he had had less things to worry about at that time, As he laid in his bed, his eyes kept drawing back open to stare at the window. Every little sound was some nightmarish creature, every shadow was hunting him. He dragged a tired hand down his face, stretching out the heavy bags under his eyes. Suddenly, he ripped the blankets back from his body and stood, a hand quickly being pressed to his desk to steady himself. He couldn’t help but look out of the window at the pool. His stomach lurched and he forced himself to turn away, a sad attempt at shutting out the millions of thoughts spinning through his head. It’s bullshit, we killed Barb, we killed Barb, bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. He tried to be quiet as he stumbled to the bathroom and splashed his face with palm-fulls of water; it took at least 30 minutes to stop himself from retching.
With any chances of sleeping officially ruined, he made his way to the kitchen. He got himself a glass of water and sipped at it morosely, trying to convince himself that he was safe. The creak of the stairs set him on edge, hand gripping at the cup. His heart pounded in his ears as the sound of something moving through the house got closer and closer until-
“Steve?” Your groggy voice immediately shattered the tension. You gave him a tired smile, your tone teasing as you continued. “You too cool for sleep, huh?”
A heavy sigh of relief tore through his chest, the inhale proceeding it shaky. “Yeah, something like that.”
“You okay? You look…” You sleepily searched for an adjective as you made your way over to him.
“Like shit?” He provided.
“Scared.” Oh. “Terrified, actually. Did something happen?” Oh.
It was humiliating how that simple question nearly brought him to tears. He liked to blame the lack of sleep for how vulnerable his body was trying to be. It took a massive amount of effort to dam up the flood of tears and the selfish explanation that came rushing in. The less of the truth you knew, the safer you would be, and he refused to be the one who put you in that kind of danger just because he couldn’t keep his shit together.
“Bad dream?” Your fingers lightly brushed the back of his bicep as you unknowingly provided a helpful excuse for him to escape with.
He nodded, teeth clenched tightly. He averted his gaze quickly to stare into the wall and attempt to blink back the tears.
You were quiet for a long beat, fingers drawing soothing patterns into his skin. You took the glass from his hand and took a sip from it. “D’you wanna build a blanket fort in the living room?” When he looked back at your face, you were grinning childishly.
“Okay, that should do it,” You groaned with a stretch as you gave one last tuck to the corner of the blanket draped over the top of your soft structure.
“You’re still really good at that; you been practicing without me?” He teased with a tired smile.
You laughed and shook your head. “Build a fort? With another man? What do you take me for?”
He let out a responding laugh, combing a hand through his hair to push it out of his face.
You grinned up at him, clearly pleased with that response. “Well, what are we waiting for?” And with that, you were crawling in through the entrance.
Steve waited for you to settle inside before heading in out of fear that he would tear the whole thing down. You were snuggled into the corner, surrounded by pillows and trying to set the flashlight up in a way that it didn't need to be held to still shine light into the makeshift cove. The fort was not as spacious as it had appeared to be, or rather, the two of you were a lot bigger than the last time you'd built a fort together, and you hadn’t accommodated for this factor. His legs ended up snug against yours as he laid next to you, your shoulder pressing into his chest.
"There." You finally let out a quiet, excited woop as you succeeded in putting up the flashlight. "Now," you turned your gaze to Steve, suddenly holding a faux air of severity, "you gonna come here or what?"
“What?” He laughed the word out, feeling the tops of his cheeks and the tips of his ears heat up at your opened, welcoming arms.
“Well,” you wiggled a bit to get more comfortable, “this is a pretty small fort, and you look pretty cold, and I’m pretty sure you’d benefit from a good snuggle.”
“You look pretty,” He grumbled out, the words a failed knee-jerk attempt at sass. Your cheeks leaked rouge and you beamed back at him.
“C’mon, I won’t make you do anything if you genuinely don’t want to, but you seriously look like you need a hug.” He was grateful that you hadn’t brought up his comment.
You were right, of course, he definitely needed a hug. The longer he stared at you in contemplation, the harder it was to resist giving in. Finally, he slid closer to you, careful to not press his entire weight into your body. Your arms wrapped around him and your hands came up to hold his head, all to pull him closer into you.
“There we go, c’mere big cat,” Your smile was evident in your voice as you gave him a tight squeeze. “Isn’t that so much better?”
He grumbled a half-hearted complaint about your fingers being cold, but his body language spoke very clearly that he was in pure bliss. His arm slid up to hold across your waist, grip a little stronger than you had expected. His other arm was pulled up against his chest, fist tucked up under his chin. Your breath ghosted over the top of his head, one hand stroking gently through his hair, picking softly and splitting apart hairsprayed strands. The other hand rubbed a line up and down his back with a firm tenderness; every careful touch pulled him into a state of calm that he hadn’t known for quite some time. A soft, embarrassing sound came from his throat as you pulled your hand away from his back and you chuckled.
“Just grabbing a blanket, s’that okay?” Your voice was somewhere between speaking and whispering.
He nodded against your chest, letting you lean up slightly to grab a blanket and he helped you pull it over your bodies. You tucked it gently up to his chin, sending a small smile down at him when he met your gaze. Your fingers were warmer than before as they slid down from his hair to gently cup his cheek, thumb brushing under his eye.
“You comfy?” You smiled brilliantly when he nodded again. “Good. Try to get some sleep, yeah? You look like shit.”
He huffed out a half-laugh and pressed his cheek back down to your chest. “Easier said than done.”
“Yeah, I get that…” You continued to stroke his hair, apologizing when one of your rings caught and tugged a strand.
Despite his snarky comment, he found himself slipping into the clutches of sleep in your arms. He could hear the rhythm of your heartbeat through your ribs underneath his ear, and he felt the rumble in your chest when you started to quietly hum. His tight grip around you slowly eased as he drifted away from the conscious world, finally letting his tired body rest.
You could feel the moment he fell asleep, could see it in the way his expression relaxed. His eyebrows finally drew up and apart, his lips parting just slightly and the softest snores started to leave through the gap. He looked very pretty like this, all relaxed and peaceful. You leaned down to press a feather-light kiss to his forehead, and eased your head back into the pillow. You squeezed him one more time, his arms unconsciously tightening around you a hair, and you let yourself finally be taken from the world by sleep as well.

part 3 to slasher ghost (and i guess alejandro too now) pls?
Part 3 is coming, but I'm gonna use your ask since you mentioned Alejandro to do a bit of a prequel from Rodolfo's perspective. Buckle up. This is a prequel for this and this.
--
Rodolfo had never told anyone how he and Alejandro had gotten together. Quite frankly, he never would. If he could scrub it from his memory forever, he would.
Admittedly, before... the night, Rodolfo hated Alejandro Vargas. Rodolfo was kind of quiet, reserved. Alejandro was loud and obnoxious and some rich kid asshole who thought the sun rose and set on him.
They'd met once in Freshman year at a rally and Alejandro had been obnoxious ever since. He'd been borderline obsessed with Rodolfo and Rodolfo had remembered just wanting him to leave him alone.
Rodolfo rolled his eyes when Anna, his friend, offered him her cigarette. He took it, anyway, though, and took a drag from it. She lit her own. "So, don't be mad."
"Great." Rodolfo sighed. He couldn't wait to find out why she didn't want him to be mad. It was the second quarter of sophomore year and she'd already gotten him in so much trouble.
Anna smiled, cheekily. "We're going out to the woods. And... we invited Alejandro Vargas."
Rodolfo wanted to strangle her. "You're fucking kidding me!"
"Please don't be mad, Rudy!" She pouted and took his hands. "He's gonna pay for the alcohol. Just... he only said he'd go if you were there."
Rodolfo shook his head. "Sucks for you guys, then. I'm not going out to the middle of the fucking woods to get drunk with Alejandro Vargas!" He pulled his hands away.
Anna shook her head. "Of course not." She muttered and then turned away from him, irritated. "Could you not be so stuck up and selfish for five minutes??"
Rodolfo winced. "What??"
"God, you're so fucking stiff." She turned around to face him. "You're sixteen. Grow the fuck up."
Rodolfo flinched back and started to feel bad. "I'm sorry. You're right." He mumbled. They clearly needed something and he... he could pretend to be nice to Alejandro for a few hours so they could get drunk and have fun. "I'll come."
"Perfect!" She beamed, immediately, and then kissed his cheek before running off to tell her girlfriend, Miriam. "Tonight is back on!"
"Hell yeah!" Miriam grinned.
Rodolfo winced but nodded a little. He really didn't want to do this but... he could push it down for his friends.
-
Rodolfo cringed, ending up getting stuck in the backseat with Alejandro and Todd, Miriam's brother. Todd was also kind of weird to Rodolfo, so he was super uncomfortable.
To Alejandro's credit, he never touched Rodolfo. Just... flirted with him a lot. Though, he seemed to have picked up on how uncomfortable Rodolfo was right now, and had mostly just asked him about his classes.
Todd, however, kept touching Rodolfo's side and that made him so deeply uncomfortable. Miriam tried to claim Todd would never do anything, but he didn't believe that. Todd loved to touch Rodolfo without permission and would laugh and shrug him off when he made it explicitly clear he didn't want him touching him.
So, Rodolfo had given up. He just dealt with the uncomfortable touches because he was worried what would happen if he told him no too many times.
"Oh, hey," Alejandro spoke up, catching Rodolfo's attention. "I found something I think you might like. You mentioned, once, that you like cards. It's not... like a playing card but, hey, I don't need it." He lifted his hips, pulling out his wallet and then getting out what looked like a gold rectangle.
Further inspection proved it was a credit card shaped slab of metal that was designed to look like a tarot card. "The Sun" in fact. "El Sol." Alejandro grinned. "Thought it fit you."
Rodolfo flushed and touched over it, feeling the holes in the metal. It was gorgeous... He usually didn't like when Alejandro gave him gifts (though he'd kept them all, admittedly) but... he'd take this one. "Thank you..." He put it in his own wallet and relaxed.
Alejandro seemed pleasantly surprised and then grinned. "I also found an El Sol necklace, if you want that, too."
Rodolfo cringed. "Maybe." He hoped accepting this one without fuss wouldn't immediately through Alejandro off the deep end in his pursuits.
Alejandro then seemed to go quiet, looking around. Rodolfo noticed he looked anxious. "What's wrong?" He asked, without thinking, though he had to pause when he felt Todd's fingers drift over his thigh again, tensing.
Alejandro seemed almost startled by the question. "Oh, I... I really don't like the woods."
Rodolfo frowned. "Why did you come, then?"
"Anna said you'd be there. I almost didn't but I wanted to see you." Alejandro smiled at him, soft.
Rodolfo flushed. Okay, admittedly, the fact Alejandro seemed to like him so much did flatter him. "Oh..." He looked away.
Anna finally stopped driving and Miriam turned back to them, grinning. "It's an old camping spot no one uses, anymore." She explained before getting out.
Rodolfo relaxed as Todd followed his sister out. Alejandro followed Anna out and Rodolfo was left to climb out alone. Miriam and Todd dragged a cooler over to the campspot. It was dark, already, and Rodolfo found himself cringing against the car.
Alejandro frowned. "You don't like the woods, either?"
"No," Rodolfo shook his head, admitting. "Freaks me out... I have this thing where I struggle to look out of windows and doors at night and I... I can look around at night but this is the absolute worst."
Alejandro smiled, sympathetically. "I won't let anything happen to you." He promised.
Rodolfo flushed and Alejandro sounded so sure that he couldn't help but believe him. Even if he thought Alejandro was an asshole, he was kind of sweet. "Okay... thank you..."
Alejandro led him over to the rest of his friends. Todd was struggling to light a fire and Alejandro chuckled, taking over. He did it expertly and then sat down on a log. Todd sat on a different log and seemed to almost look expectantly at Rodolfo, touching the seat beside him.
Rodolfo didn't even hesitate to sit by Alejandro. Alejandro looked like he was on cloud nine, immediately shifting so he was slightly turned to Rodolfo. He reached behind him into the cooler and got out a weird looking beer.
Rodolfo went to shake his head, since he didn't like beer, but Alejandro shook his head. "It's an apple flavored one. It's sweet, I promise. I got it because you mentioned you didn't like regular beer."
Rodolfo flushed dark. Alejandro had remembered that? He sighed and accepted the beer. "Okay..." He used his sleeve to pop the lid off before trying it. Okay, he had to admit it tasted pretty good.
Alejandro grinned, but got out a bottle in a brown paper bag, popping the lid off and taking a long drink before passing the bottle to Todd, who was glaring at them.
Rodolfo avoided his eyes and looked at Anna and Miriam, instead. They were practically in each other's laps and Miriam was murmuring something in Anna's ear.
Anna was cheating on Miriam, Rodolfo had found out the week before. He knew he should tell Miriam, and he wanted to, but... he worried Anna might go ballistic on him.
"Lets play a game." Anna grinned. "Truth or dare."
"No thanks," Rodolfo immediately said, before shrinking back at her glare. "I always get dared to do something dumb."
"That's the fun of the game." Anna snorted. "You promised, Rodolfo."
Rodolfo slumped, since he did promise he'd go and participate and do stuff. "Alright, alright." He mumbled.
"I'll go first, truth or dare, Miriam." Anna grinned.
Miriam chuckled, her curls bouncing around her head as she shook her head. "Truth, love."
Anna pouted. She leaned back and considered. "What's your favorite part of my body?"
Miriam laughed, softly. "Your mouth." She didn't offer any explanation, but Anna blushed bright red all the same. "Todd, truth or dare."
"Dare." Todd shrugged.
"Fuck. I'm not creative with those." Miriam groaned. "Down a fourth of the vodka Alejandro brought."
"Fuck, Miriam, are you trying to kill him?" Anna laughed.
"Well, it would be nice to be an only child again." Miriam shrugged.
Todd snorted but, since he had the bottle still, leaned his head back and did as told. Rodolfo couldn't help but make a face and looked away. His friends were... crazy.
Todd wiped his mouth when he was done and chuckled, seeming to notice Rodolfo's face. "Alejandro, truth or dare."
"Truth." Alejandro chuckled. "I think I'm gonna play it safe with you guys, for now."
"You're not fun." Miriam teased.
Todd snorted. "Did your dad actually kill your mom?"
Alejandro went silent and Rodolfo frowned. Miriam glared at Todd. "Todd! What the fuck, man?! That is not okay to ask!"
"I want to know!" Todd glared back at her before looking at Alejandro.
Rodolfo cringed. Alejandro felt so tense beside him. "Are you okay?" He asked, carefully.
Alejandro looked at him and seemed to soften. "Yeah, I'm okay..." He smiled. "I don't know. I don't think he did. I'd like to believe he didn't. He's my dad."
Miriam nodded. "We get that." She smiled, throwing Todd another glare.
Rodolfo still felt lost. He didn't know that Alejandro's dad had supposedly killed his mom. Alejandro seemed to see the curiosity on his face, so he smiled, though it was weak. "My mom was murdered when I was a baby and my dad was suspected to have killed her, but the charges were dropped. He says he didn't do it."
Rodolfo winced, feeling awful for Alejandro. "I'm sorry..."
"Don't be. He's a decent dad, even if he's a potential murderer." Alejandro shrugged and pat his hand. "Alright, Anna, truth or dare?"
Anna considered. "Dare."
"Call your dad and pretend you just found out you're pregnant and then hang up." Alejandro shrugged. Rodolfo blinked. Anna's dad didn't even know she was gay. He was a devout christian. This might kill him.
But, Anna was laughing all the same. "You're fun." She got out her phone and called her dad. She pinched the corner of her eye, starting waterworks. "Daddy??? I have horrible news, I don't know what to do..." She was quiet for a moment, clearly listening to the other side. "I'm... I'm... I'm pregnant!" She sobbed.
Miriam rolled her eyes and looked away. This was a sore subject for them.
The man on the other end of the line started to scream at her so loud Rodolfo could even hear it. Alejandro leaned down. "I think I may have just signed her death certificate." Alejandro whispered in Spanish.
Rodolfo flushed and shook his head. "You're evil." He mumbled. As told, Anna hung up and grinned.
"He's going to skin you." Miriam shook her head. "Alive."
"Nah," Anna shook her head, leaning back a little. "Alright, Rudy, your turn. Truth or dare?"
Rodolfo cringed. "Truth, obviously."
Anna pouted before sighing. "What's your biggest sexual fantasy?"
Rodolfo glared at her. "Dare." Absolutely no way was he fucking answering that!
Anna laughed before shrugging. "Okay. Give Alejandro a lap dance."
Alejandro tensed beside him and Rodolfo looked at him, seeing even he looked unsure. Miriam was cringing rather hard beside Anna, but Todd looked amused.
"Fuck you." Rodolfo shook his head. He was sick of being humiliated by her. "I'm going to go to the fucking car. You four can enjoy yourselves."
"Rudy, rudy wait." Miriam tried, standing. Rodolfo ignored her and walked to the car, opening the door to the backseat and getting in, before slamming it.
A moment later, he heard a knock on the window and he looked out it. Alejandro was standing there, clearly awkward. Rodolfo sighed and opened the door, getting out.
"Hey, I'm sorry." Alejandro mumbled.
Rodolfo shrugged. "Wasn't your fault..." He looked away. "She's just a bitch."
"Why are you still friends with her?" Alejandro frowned. "She treats you like shit, no offense."
Rodolfo shrugged. "She's my only friend."
Alejandro looked like he wasn't sure he accepted that. "I see." He nodded a little.
Rodolfo sighed. "I guess I'll come back..."
Alejandro nodded a little and smiled. "Good." He started to walk with him, back. He looked awkward and shoved his hands in his pockets. Rodolfo felt awkward, so he just stayed quiet.
Rodolfo frowned when he noticed he couldn't see the fire in the distance. Alejandro seemed to have notice as well. "Weird. It was still lit when I came..."
Rodolfo started to get a bad feeling. He approached more carefully. No one was at the campsite anymore but... Rodolfo could smell blood. Which was odd, because usually he couldn't pick that up.
Alejandro raised an eyebrow. "Where did they go??"
"Assholes are probably trying to scare us." Rodolfo mumbled and slumped. Man, he hated them, sometimes.
Alejandro shook his head. "Great." He sighed. Rodolfo went to the cooler to close it so they could drag it back to the car, not wanting to play this game.
Alejandro suddenly screamed behind him and he whipped around. Alejandro was being dragged across the dirt by his ankle. Someone in a black skull mask was dragging him, an axe in his left hand.
"Alejandro!" Rodolfo screamed, frozen with fear. The person suddenly stopped and raised the axe. Rodolfo didn't even hesitate, he just turned and ran.
The smell of blood got stronger as he ran and he was suddenly tripping on something, his ankle feeling like it snapped and going sprawling. His ankle was burning and he rolled onto his back, sitting up.
Oh, god, oh god... He touched his ankle, panicking. He needed to get up, he needed to keep running. He put his hands on the ground to get up, but his left hand landed in a puddle of something sticky.
Dread filled his stomach and he looked to his right. He screamed with horror, seeing Miriam's dead body, her head completely severed from the rest of it. He'd tripped on her leg.
Rodolfo didn't even hesitate to get up. Walking on his ankle felt like hell, but, he needed to get away. He started to limp in the direction he hoped the car was in, trying not to cry out with pain.
He screamed when someone suddenly grabbed him, but was turned around. Anna was there, covered in blood. "Rodolfo! Are you okay??"
Rodolfo relaxed, immediately. "Anna!" He hugged her. "I thought you were dead!"
"Fuck, Rudy, we need to get the fuck out of here. God, Todd went after you and Alejandro and... a moment later, he was dragging himself back to the camp. His feet were just gone and... some fucker in a black skull mask killed him!"
Rodolfo covered his mouth, starting to tremble. This was awful, this was horrible. "He killed Alejandro, too! And Miriam..."
Anna broke down sobbing. "We need to get out of here!" She screamed. She went to drag Rodolfo away but then she went stiff. Her back arched and she gasped, eyes wide.
Rodolfo watched in horror as she fell. An axe was sticking out of her back. He backed up and gasped. Behind her, a few feet away, was the person in the skull mask. He stared into Rodolfo's eyes, his own the only part of him that could be seen.
Rodolfo backed up, but he stepped on his injured ankle wrong and fell, immediately. He teared up. Anna reached to him and he screamed, covering his face. This was a nightmare. He'd wake up and it would all be over.
The person came up to Anna and yanked the axe out of her back. He used his foot to roll her onto her back. She coughed up blood and sobbed. "Please don't kill me... please..."
The person didn't even respond. He just brought the axe down into her face, hacking it in half. Rodolfo watched the entire scene in complete horror.
Then, the person looked at him. He stepped over her body and neared him. Rodolfo immediately started to drag himself backwards, shaking his head. "Please, please- I..." He broke down sobbing when they made it over him.
The axe raised and he covered his face, shaking so hard he couldn't breathe. Rodolfo took a deep breath and then waited for the impact. He regretted giving into Anna so much. He knew he shouldn't have come. Now they were all going to die.
Rodolfo continued to wait for the impact, but it never came. He uncovered his face and the person was just gone. Rodolfo jerked up, immediately, looking around.
They were completely gone. "Rodolfo!" He heard his name called, recognizing the voice immediately. Relief flooded his veins.
"Alejandro!" He called before seeing Alejandro just slightly in the distance. He was limping and holding his side, blood on his hand. He approached quickly.
"Rodolfo! Oh thank god you're alright!" Alejandro came over, dropping to his knees beside him. "Are you hurt??"
Rodolfo shook his head, immediately. "How did you get away??"
"He hacked my side and then... you screamed and he got distracted or something..." Alejandro panted a little. "Can you walk?? We need to get to the car, now!"
Rodolfo shook his head. "My ankle..." He cried out when Alejandro touched it. Alejandro stood and then he was picking Rodolfo up, with fair ease.
Rodolfo found himself flushing dark, despite the situation. Even with his injury, Alejandro had no problem just lifting him. He wrapped his arms around Alejandro's shoulders and trembled. "We're going to die."
"We're not going to die." Alejandro shook his head. They were very fast to the car and Alejandro set him down once there. Rodolfo didn't hesitate to get in and Alejandro got out the keys.
"How did you get the keys??" Rodolfo frowned.
Alejandro cringed. "I... I saw them on Miriam's body and I... I thought it might be good for us to get out of here... Well, admittedly, I didn't know you were alive, so me."
Rodolfo relaxed, accepting that. "I need to go to the hospital..."
"We both do." Alejandro nodded, going around and quickly getting in. He locked the doors and then sped off. Rodolfo let out a heavy breath when they were away and then covered his face again.
"My friends... they're all dead..." He mumbled and sobbed.
"We're alive, that's all that matters, right now." Alejandro touched his arm, half glancing at him.
Rodolfo trembled but nodded. He curled up tightly and took deep breaths. They were alive. They'd survived.
-
Rodolfo laid with Alejandro, closing his eyes. Alejandro pet his hair, gently. "I... I feel horrible, leaving Soap to go on that field trip, alone."
"He'll be okay." Alejandro shrugged and then kissed his hair. "He's a big boy. You both are."
"Yeah, yeah," Rodolfo rolled his eyes but lifted up a bit, wincing at the soreness that caused. He glanced at Alejandro's side and touched the giant scar there.
Alejandro closed his eyes and relaxed a little. "Sometimes.. when I close my eyes, I see that maniac above me. About to split my skull open."
Rodolfo saw all of it, all of the time. He'd never told anyone about it. He never would. The police thought there was just three victims. As it was, three more on a boat from a different killer had been found, so the police were pretty pre-occupied right after.
Rodolfo laid back down, laying his head on Alejandro's chest, listening to his heartbeat. "We survived..."
Alejandro nodded. "Together."
Rodolfo smiled, softly. "Always together."

SO usually I just post my art (or at least that's what I keep telling myself to stick to) but I kind of HAD to write this one (how could you not??) and I also like the idea so 👏🏻 there, writing a fic about my own art work
INKED UP
It was a quiet morning, Hades had just woken up and was lazing around on the couch with a cup of tea while MC is in a meeting with the rest of the gods, one he surprisingly wasn't required to attend, a rare occurrence for them to not be together, especially during a top tier meeting, but after 6 years of marriage you find yourself embracing time spent alone.
He also finds himself wishing MC was there as the boredom sets in, so used to having her starting conversation when things get quiet, or...other activities.
Reluctantly he pulls out his phone, scrolling through the shopping app MC had asked (forced) him to download, he stops mindlessly scrolling when he spots something intriguing,
"a link for cheap tattoos? How stupid, I'd look like an idiot..." He finds himself muttering, however a distant memory of MC years ago mentioning how much she loves tattoos on people...
Well now that's hard to ignore, he books himself in for a few specific tattoos after a few hours of sitting on it and choosing the right designs, and as soon as he gets the notification that they are ready for him, he sets off on his own personal adventure.
Hours pass
It truly didn't hurt as bad as he was expecting, however for a god who's had every single Injury imaginable in his long life, his pain tolerance is hard to beat.
After showering, he stares at himself in the mirror for a while before picking up his phone again..the only reason he got this done in the first place...and an idea popped into his head
MC had no idea...
and what better way to suprise her than sending a picture while she's focused on this meeting?
He tries multiple different poses and angles before he settles on one flexing his muscles and showing off his new ink.
It takes moments for two blue ticks to tell him that she has seen the photo,
But no response,
He starts almost regretting it, not that he can really turn back now, but somehow the lack of reply is worse than an angry one,
He supposes now it's just a waiting game, there should only be around an hour left of this all-day meeting, so he decides to cover his ink back up and brew another tea, deciding this time to watch TV instead of scrolling through his phone which caused this whole decision in the first place.
It was two hours later when MC burst in the door, looking almost like she ran here from the meeting,
"Tell me your not joking?" She gasps out between pants, suddenly right in front of him.
"im-? Not joking?" He chuckles out nervously, holding out his hands in a placating manner.
Her small hands are immediately unbuttoning his shirt, anyone can edit photos surely! Even hades-
And then she sees them, at first (still in denial) she thinks they could be fakes, she's seen some seriously realistic fake tattoos before, but then she spots the red irritated skin and the slightly wet glisten from having the weeping tattoo under the wrap for so long,
"how- how did you manage to get these done today?" She whispers, so dead focused on tracing the designs with her finger she hadn't even noticed she plopped herself in his lap.
"I woke up early, I got bored.. saw something on my phone and they said they could book me in for early afternoon" he spoke, smiling down at his wife, "I also remembered when we was walking past that tattoo parlour a few years ago you had said you love tattoos on people..." He smiles bashfully.
"I love you so much, you know that?" She laughs and huggs him.
THE END BITCHES
(I'm sorry for calling you bitches ❤️)
I AM IM NO WAY A WRITER!! SO THIS ISN'T GOOD AND IT'S PROBABLY NOT WELL WRITTEN EITHER BUT AT LEAST I WROTE IT OKAY? 😭

A/N: Well, at least a week after I originally intended to post this chapter, here it is. Every time I tried to write, I had something going on or wasn’t in the right frame of mind. Hope the wait was worth it.

Ain’t It A Kick In The Head, Part 7
Kensi rolled onto her side, frowning with her eyes closed when she smacked into something solid. She reached out, eyes springing open at the feel of warm, bare skin, and her eyes sprang open to the sight of Marty Deeks’ naked torso and chest.
“Oh god,” she groaned, the night before rushing back to her with stunning clarity. Straddling Deeks, slowly stripping his shirt off. Heat suffused her skin as she remembered running her hands over his smooth skin, glowing in the dim light.
Her dress had come off shortly after that, along with her bra and from there it was a blur of hands roaming skin, mouths attacking, bodies pressing together.
They’d stopped just short of having sex, but Deeks turned out to be amazingly creative in working around that one stipulation. Kensi shivered at the memory of his mouth moving across her skin, shifting restlessly under the sheets.
“Mmm, what time it is?” Deeks groaned beside her, rolling onto his back, and rubbed his hand over his eyes and up through his hair.
“Just after 7,” Kensi answered, eyes traveling over his chest as his muscles flexed as he stretched. “Um, so last night…?”
“Yes?” He opened his eyes fully now, lips twisting with a smug grin.
“That was a really bad decision,” she continued, trying to appear professional while wearing nothing but a very thin sheet.
“Probably, but do you regret it?” he asked, propping his head up on his first. She could tell that it was a genuine question and not intended to end the conversation.
“No. I initiated and…however ill-advised it might have been, it wasn’t completely unenjoyable—”
“Wow, “not completely unenjoyable”,” Deeks repeated, shaking his head. “That is high praise.” He leaned forward, the sheet falling lower, and Kensi couldn’t stop her gaze from following its descent. His abs really were amazing, especially in full light. “Somehow I thought I’d get a slightly higher review with how much you were saying my name last night.”
“Shut up,” Kensi ordered around a laugh, cupping his neck to draw him back to her mouth. Deeks tossed the bedding aside to give him better access. He rolled her sideways, sliding his leg between hers while his hands slid to her hips.
Deeks had just begun kissing a path along her neck when his phone rang. He dropped his head on her chest, groaning quietly for a moment before leaning over to answer.
“What’s up, Frankie?” He paused, nodding a few times while the other man spoke. “Well, if you say it’s no good, then we can’t use it. I’ll be over soon.”
When he hung up, he sighed, and playfulness long gone.
“What’s going on?”
“Some of the new product is contaminated,” he explained. Kensi’s eyebrows rose and he quickly added, “By design. There’s another agent undercover who messes with batches when I need her to. I try to keep as many drugs out of circulation as I can without looking too suspicious or incompetent. Plus, it helps back up my reasoning for switching over to Dimitri for business.”
“Those sound like dangerous tactics,” Kensi commented. A thread of worry ran through her.
“Well, you should know by now that I like to take risks. Within reason.” He slid out of bed, searching the floor until he found his discarded pants (and giving Kensi a nice view in the process). “Do you want to shower first?”
She glanced around the room, seeing her dress balled up in the corner, and then down at her bare chest.
“I think need to stop at my apartment for some clean clothes. It might cause just a few questions if I show up in a wrinkled party dress.”
“Right. Didn’t think about that, sorry.” He shook his head slightly. “Ok, you can meet me there when you’re ready. Make sure no one’s following you” He glanced back at her as he headed for the door, hesitated a second, then surprised Kensi by coming back to kiss her gently. “Be careful.”
***
Kensi showered and changed at her apartment, and then called Ops to update the team.
“Kensi,” Nell answered, sounding relived. “Are you ok? You basically went no contact last night after one text.”
“Yeah, I’m good,” Kensi assured her, quickly rubbing a towel through her hair while rummaging through the small collection of outfits she’d brought back from Ops. “I just got busy working with Deeks and lost track of time.”
“Wow, I didn’t realize he was so captivating. What were you guys working on?”
“Um…” Kensi trailed off, thoughts of Deeks carrying her to the bedroom flashing through her mind. “We were just working on establishing my cover and prepping for a meet with an important contact. Hey, on that note, can you look up Dimitri Novak? I have to go meet Deeks, sorry Max, in a little bit.”
“You got it,” Nell promised, tapping audible over the phone. “Sam and Callen said you didn’t hit it off well with Detective Deeks,” she added. “How’s that going?”
“We’re managing,” Kensi answered, struggling to keep any trace of last night’s events out of her voice. Nell would jump on it in a second; she’d always been good at spotting when Kensi was lying and ferreting put gossip. “He’s actually really good at undercover, but unpredictable.”
“Oh, well, then you should fit right in,” Nell commented and Kensi made a skeptical noise.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Nothing, just that you like to take risks and prove your skills whenever you can.”
“That is so not true,” Kensi gasped.
“Oh please, I can name at least a dozen times where you’ve rushed into a situation without fully knowing what’s going on. You thrive on it,” Nell insisted. When Kensi started to object, she added, “What about that time you were at that gala and instead of letting Sam or Callen take the lead, you ran across a banquet table, in heals might I add, and out into the middle of the street where you tackled him?”
“Ok, that is taken way out of context. There were extenuating circumstances.”
“Sure…nothing to do with you wanting to show off.”
“You’re hilarious. You know, next time I’m just going to test Eric,” Kensi threatened, even as Nell laughed.
“Uh-huh. I’ll let you know when I have something on Dimitri Novak. Try not to cause any international incidents in the mean time.”
***
Frankie let her in again when she arrived at the warehouse an hour later. This time his hair was pulled back, revealing the sharp angles of his face and he wore a plain dress shirt with jeans. His scowl was the same as the first time though as he led her through the warehouse to Deeks.
He stood in the middle of several crates, one hip canted out as he examined a packet of powder with a look of distaste.
“Maybe we can still use some of it,” a stocky man with a buzzed head suggested. He had his arms crossed and seemed nervous.
“Not unless we check every last package, Jose,” Deeks replied. He caught sight of Kensi and offered her a knowing smile before returning his attention to Jose. She wanted to smack that smirk right off his face. God, he was infuriating.
“Getting rid of all of it is gonna cost a lot.”
“Not as much as if half your clientele ends up dead or in the hospital,” Kensi spoke up, carefully picking her way through the mess of plastic packaging and crate lids. “Then the police will get involved.”
“And what do you know about it?” Frankie sneered. “Like you ever got your hands dirty.” He stalked towards her. “You come in here acting like you run things.”
“I’ve been around and I suggest you take a step back,” Kensi warned him.
“Or what? You gonna scratch me with one of your little claws?”
Closing the space between them, he bent close enough that Kensi could see his grey irises give way to pupil.
“Frankie—”
He ignored Deeks, raising his hand, and Kensi grasped him by the wrist, jamming the heel or her shoe into the soft back of his knee. As he fell with a shout, she twisted him arm back at an uncomfortable angle, using the thumb of her other hand to press sharply against his jugular.
“This isn’t my first time around, Frankie,” she hissed into his ear. “You even think of touching me again and you’ll see exactly what I’m capable of.”
Frankie growled, his lips pulled back in a snarl.
“Very impressive, Bella,” Deeks said, crossing over to them. “Now how bout you let him go? I’m sure he’s learned his lesson. Right, Frankie?” He gave Kensi a sharp look as Frankie growled something unintelligible, and she reluctantly released him.
As soon as he was free, Frankie whipped around, shaking out his clothes, sending Kensi a malevolent look.
He muttered something unintelligible as he passed by Deeks.
“Hey, man, I told you to watch it around her,” he said with a shrug. “It’s not my fault you didn’t listen.” Clapping him on the back, Deeks turned more serious. “Go ahead an get this out of her while I finish showing Ms. Mendez the layout.”
“Bella.” He gestured for her to go first, leading her through the circuitous hallways.
“Well, that was certainly a bold and unexpected move,” he commented lightly once they were out of earshot.
“I was just taking a page out of your book,” Kensi responded. “You know, going on instinct.”
“It was certainly a surprise. And potentially dangerous.”
“Oh, and what you did with Andre Simons wasn’t?”
“Andre isn’t brave enough to hold a grudge,” Deeks answered softly. “Frankie is however.”
“I can handle myself,” Kensi said, lifting her chin. Deeks nodded, completely serious.
“Good. Because I think you just made an enemy. Like I said, Frankie is a dangerous man. You’ll need to watch your back from now on.”

Chapter 15: 532
Author: Chris Bannor
Wu DaQi stared out the windows, questioning his decisions. Unlike Dr. Warner, Dr. Atieno Obuo had a connection to Mann Enterprises’ parent company, Mariner Tech. She’d been in the Piles for almost eight years, but she’d been a well-paid employee for fifteen years before that. There was no sign that she was currently involved with them, but he questioned his sanity for even thinking of coming to her.
He needed answers though, and he believed Warner when he said Obuo was the best. He just wished he knew why she had fallen so far. There were rumors, but they tasted bad. Something darker lay behind her fall and he wasn’t sure he wanted to tangle with it. Except she might be the only one who could help him find his past.
The apartment door opened and a light turned on in the front hallway. DaQi turned, waiting for the woman to walk into her front room. He heard the sound of shoes hitting the floor as she kicked them off and moved so that he was in the shadows beside the hallway when it opened into the room.
When she came in, she walked right past him. She flipped on a light on the other wall, and he stepped out of the shadows, letting her see him for the first time.
Her eyes widened but she didn’t try to run. She spoke in a whisper. “532.”
He took a step back as if he’d taken a physical blow. Of all the things he expected tonight, he would never have expected that. “What did you call me?”
“I’m sorry, 532. I don’t know what you go by now,” she said. Her heart was racing, and she was taking calming breaths, even as she tried to appear normal.
“Wu DaQi,” he answered. He didn’t know where else to start.
“What do you want, Wu DaQi?”
“Do you know where he is?” It wasn’t what he came for, but as soon as she called him 532 it was all he could think about.
“Who?”
“531.”
She shook her head. “He’s looking for you though. He came to me, a few days ago, injured. I patched him up but he’s trying to find you.”
“Then you can reach him.”
“No, I don’t know how. He came to me when he needed it, but I never had any way to contact him. The last time he was here I warned him to stop coming. There were too many people looking for him, and I was part of your design team. Someone was bound to start watching me.”
“What do you mean by that?”
“What?”
“Part of my design team?”
She stared at him, her brows furrowed as she tilted her head to the side slightly. “You don’t know me, do you?”
“I’m supposed to. That much is obvious.”
“What happened to you, 532?”
“I don’t know. That’s why I came here. I was given your name by another doctor. I woke up three months ago with no memory. They said it was an augmentation gone bad. That something went wrong when they were poking around in my brain. I went to an outside doctor because I had reason to believe they were lying to me. So, tell me, why can’t I remember my past?”
“I … I don’t know. I haven’t seen you since I left Mariner.”
“I worked with 531.”
“You were partners.”
“Why are they hiding it from me?”
“532, I don’t know what they’re doing. I can’t guess. I’m a scientist and a doctor. I wasn’t a part of anything else.”
“I need to know. I need to find out about my past. He said … 531 knew me. But how could I be partners with a terrorist?”
Obuo stepped forward and touched his sleeve. “No matter what they say, 531 was loyal to you, if no one else.”
“Then what he said was true.”
“What did he say?”
He remembered the press of lips against his own, of warmth and affection in 531’s eyes as he called him by a name that he didn’t know.
You know me, Two. More than anyone else in this world.
“It doesn’t matter. I have to find him. If he comes to you again, tell him I want to meet. Just the two of us.”
“He won’t return, but if he does, I’ll tell him.”
He nodded, then remembered the real reason he’d come. “Can you look at my augmentation? I need to know if you can help me regain my memory. And tell me why the other doctor got so upset when he looked at it?”
Her heart began to race again, and she glanced past him, towards the door. When she looked back at him, she nodded hesitantly. “Alright. But not here and not tonight. Tomorrow. Come to my office. There are things I need to set up before I can do it. Your… augmentation is special, 532. It was experimental at the time. I need all my equipment and I need time to review the files I was able to sneak out with me.”
The way she hesitated before she said augmentation made him nervous, but he didn’t have much choice. His other option was kidnap the doctor he was asking to poke around in his brain. Not something he would recommend to anyone. “Tomorrow night, then.”
“As soon as I close, come in the back. I’ll be waiting.”
He nodded. “I’m trusting you, Dr. Obuo. But if you run, I will know. And I will find you.”
The color drained from her face, and he could see the fear in her eyes. He had been told that 531 was a terrorist. If they were partners, what had he been? If she was still so afraid of him, after more than 7 years, did he really want to remember that man?
Or was 531 the honest one, and 532 the man DaQi wanted to become?
Author's Note:
Author's Note: What is Obuo afraid of? Was 532 someone to be scared of, or is there something else happening in the background that has her worried?

Little Welcome Home theory
ik this is kinda weird but i have some little theory, if yall can correct or maybe want to discuss this feel free to comment bcs i too would like to discuss abt this interesting media!
Also this is my first time write this much on Tumblr (n i kinda bad at english) so if this looks bad im sorry
In this one i would like to discuss about Frank, Wally and Eddie.
Aren't y'all curious what kind of thing Wally, Frank n Eddie is? I mean, they're the only one that is not an animal or object or monsters, they designed to be close to a human. Julie is a Rainbow Monster, Sally is a star or sun or fireworks wtv is it, Poppy is a chicken, Howdy is a Caterpillar, and Barnarby is a dog,
"Well maybe, they're just a Puppet" well maybe that's why they're suspicious enough.
that is not the only thing, by Eddie's biodata we know that he tends to forget everything including his origin.
"Despite having a written origin, Eddie had never stated the correct name of where he came from through out the show's run."
"The running joke often had him stating a place that did not exist, followed by an admission to misremembering it as a place he delivered to as opposed to a place he lived."
A place that didn't exist, if it truly isn't exist where did he got that memory from? Is like- everytime he tries to remember his origin he got forced back to focused on his neighborhood.
Guess who also doesn't have an origin? Yes, Frank.
"Frank does not have any known information regarding his origins prior to moving into Home when compared to the others. However, there are still notable attributes that have been uncovered."
We already know that Frank n Eddie is often depicted together, like in one of the illustration, stickers and some of script of them together
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
"[Long beat. Just Eddie and Frank are left.]
FRANK: [Frank looks down at him, rotating his head a bit as if to shake it.] You always did work too hard.
EDDIE: Wha? Huh?
FRANK: I’m going inside. Enjoy the ground, Mr. Dear."
But they never got stated as best friend, Julie is Frank's best friend. In otherwise Wally n Barnarby always got seen together because they're best friends!
Unless, Frank n Eddie is having something above their relationship that hasn't been discovered yet. And i think its because Frank is trying to reach out Eddie.
As we believed, Frank is the one that sending out those insects over the websites. But theres one place that seems off for the insects, Eddie's biodata.
Tumblr media
Eddie is scared of bugs, why would Frank put it there? Unless he want to tell us something, he put it on Eddie bcs Eddie is a mailman. He want the bugs get delivered to us and maybe because he only believed in Eddie to uncover the secrets of this neighboorhood.
The bugs that Frank scattered always out of the major thing in the websites, just showed up at the white border. But theres two place that the bug showed up in the major places, Eddie's biodata and The Guestbook (there's even Frank doodle next to it lmao).
Tumblr media
"But why would Frank believes Eddie just because he forgot his own origin? Eddie probably is just clumsy"
Here's this one comes. The telephone merchandise.
word count for Telephone Merchandise:
1. Barnaby : 72 words 363 characters
2. Julie : 78 words 399 characters
3. Frank : 138 words 709 characters
4. Eddie : 127 words 715 characters
5. Howdy : 92 words 514 characters
6. Sally : 92 words 554 characters
7. Poppy : 88 words 471 characters
(Why am i even counting this)
Eddie n Frank is the one that talked long enough n why?
In Eddie phone script we can see that he for a moment realized what happened on the call
"...I’m starting to think nobody’s there… Wait… I can’t remember if the phone was ringing… Maybe I was going to make a phone call... But who would I call?"
"He tend to forgot things, so its normal!"
Eddie never forget the neighboorhood house address, he always got the mail correct except when Julie is playing around on the road. He even remember the fairytale that god knows when he read it, he remember his jingle well! So why is he described as forgetfull?
He forgets when it comes to his origin and the secrets of the neighboorhood, someone is clearly trying not to make him remember.
This proves that he maybe actually know something, doesn't it? And thats why Frank is trying to reach out for him.
He talks so much on the phone bcs for a moment he realize something wrong about them.
As for Frank, he talked so much because he's lessoning someone over that phone, he thinks the call is a prank call. But why would he do that? Is it just because he is angry? contrary to the illustration box that saying he only got a moment to spare, he does the most talking one!
Tumblr media
Its because he probably know who's the one that calling him, Wally! He tried to slip some message there actually :
"Did you know butterflies have their own way of sleeping? It’s not so much sleeping as it is having a rest! It is always done with their eyes open, too! They also like to rest under leaves as a means of protection from dew or rain drops! Better yet, to hide from larger creatures with an appetite! A bit like you and those horrible hot dogs you love so much."
This lecture actually doesn't even fit Barnarby (except maybe Frank is taunted him by saying he looked like a large creature), why would he says something out of topic like that? This butterfly fact is more fitting to Wally.
- it rest with it eyes open, just like Wally that have Home eyes always open everywhere
- They rest under leaves to protection from rain or hide from larger creatures with an appetite just like Wally that hides under Home or even trying to hides from Home or even a larger creature that awaits them
But this also can mean that Frank has his eyes everywhere too, by his butterflies. His butterflies is everywhere probably watching the whole neighboorhood too. He tried to say to Wally that he's not the only one who got eyes everywhere and saying that he will reveal Wally secrets.
There's also some additional thing i found althought is a bit silly
1. Frank name is the one that fully off.. (besides Home)
Wally, Julie, Poppy, Eddie, Howdy, Barnaby, Sally
notice how all their names is last with y or i (pronounced)
its like, Frank try to disguise his name by adding Frankly in the back (“Frankly, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being frank!”)
2. Howdy got 8 legs, isn't he a caterpillar? Caterpillar only have 6 legs. They couldv'e just make him has 2 legs n 4 arms. Is he secretly a spider? (This one is actually not important but kinda triggers me bcs im so nerd, idk much abt caterpillar though yall can correct me if ya want!)

Tumblr media
Amidst a faculty full of stuffy old dinosaurs and suits, Sugawara Koushi is a breath of fresh air. He’s a welcome distraction, a pretty face to focus on at dull PTA meetings and assemblies. And you knew that you weren’t the only one making heart eyes at him. Everywhere that he went, heads turned, and moms whispered. At the bus stop, on the sidelines of sports matches, in the waiting rooms outside dance classes.
It was just that, though -- just whispers. Little knowing glances and nudged shoulders, dreamy sighs and brief sinful indulgences. Nothing more than a brief escape from the monotony of your everyday lives. You’d lose yourselves in the fantasy for a few seconds, and then pull your heads down from the clouds and plant your feet on solid ground. You enjoyed your gossip with the other moms, and then you returned home, to your husband and children. To your family.
You love them, of course. Your children are your world, and your husband is a good man. He’s a good man, and that’s what made it so hard. He treats you well, keeps his words soft and never once put his hands on you.
He may be good, but, God, was he boring. You can’t remember the last time that he’d even kissed you, let alone fucked you. He came home later and later each night, too tired from work to do anything but silently scarf down his dinner and plant himself on the couch in front of the television. He dragged himself into bed hours after you did. He tried to be quiet, he really did, but he woke you up every single night with his stomping and shuffling. When you snuggled closer to him, he pushed you off. My back hurts too bad, he’d say, voice tinged with regret. Remind me to book another appointment with the chiropractor.
It was always some excuse or another.
So, really, you couldn’t blame yourself for your wandering eye. You weren’t going to act on it, of course -- you weren’t a cheater -- but the young teacher was something to occupy yourself with. A pretty face to fill your thoughts as you wrangled your horde of screaming kids from swim lessons to dance practice to art classes. A pretty, pretty body to imagine as you fucked yourself with your fingers, teeth sinking into your bottom lip to muffle your moans. You couldn’t help but imagine that it was him, lithe body leaning over yours. No complaints of aching backs and sore muscles, none of the complications that came with age.
You’d leave your husband catatonic on the couch, put the kids to sleep, and then go dream of their hot teacher. You should’ve been more ashamed, but there was a part of you that loved the thrill of it. You flushed whenever you saw Mr. Sugawara the next morning, memories of your illicit thoughts filling your mind, but it also made your body feel electric.
Of course there was a part of you that longed to throw caution to the wind and jump the young man, but your conscience was much stronger than your weak, lustful thoughts. You were happy with the way things were now. As dull as your husband was, and as insufferable as the children could sometimes be, you were happy.
This was all you had ever wanted. A house in the suburbs, a husband with a well-paying job, three kids and a dog. You’re living the fucking dream. You’re happy, you tell yourself.
So why the fuck are you so unsatisfied?
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
With a deep breath, you stare down the heavy glass doors at the school’s entrance. You want nothing more than to find the idiot architect who designed this building, and strangle him for installing pull doors. Your arms are already sore from carrying the giant tray of brownies from your car to the front of the school, and you worry that if you put the treats down to open the door, you wouldn’t be able to lift them up again. A quick glance at your watch tells you that you have two minutes left to reach the gym where the bake sale is being held. The PTA president is notorious for hating latecomers, and you weren’t in the mood to get your head bit off.
You’re debating doing some gymnastics and using your foot to grab the handle, when you notice footsteps approaching from behind you. You open your mouth to ask for help, but they beat you to it. “Let me get the door,” says their syrupy, melodic voice.
Their familiar voice.
Your body practically freezes as a strong arm reaches over your shoulder. Long fingers – fingers that you’ve fantasized about too many times to count – twist the handle and push it open easily. You don’t know how you didn’t notice him approaching sooner, but now that he’s here, your senses are in overdrive. The sweet scent of his cologne, the sound of his breath, the warmth of his body – it’s all too much, and it makes your knees feel weak.
“Mr. Sugawara,” you say, voice coming out much breathier than you intended. This must be some kind of Pavlovian response from all your fantasizing, because there is no reason for your stomach to be twisting right now. “Thank you.”
He grins sheepishly and steps away, and you hate the way that your body screams at you to lean into him. “It’s no problem. Is that for the bake sale? Here, let me carry it for you.”
You try to protest, but there’s really no point. His long fingers are already pushing yours to the sides, and you swear you’ve been electrified as he pulls the tray out of your hands. It’s a shame, really, that he’s wearing a button-down. The sleeves are rolled up to his forearms, at least, but you would’ve loved to see his biceps flex as he carried that tray…
What am I doing? You dig your nails into your palm to snap yourself out of your thoughts, but it’s hard to stay lucid when he’s so beautiful. He carries the brownies with ease, using just one arm to support their weight as the other holds the door open for you. It should make you upset, that you’re so weak in comparison to him, but the thought just makes you feel even more breathless. He’s so strong, so young, and so unlike your husband.
“Thank you,” you say again as he steps into the building behind you. You reach for the tray, but he waves you off.
“Nonsense. I’ll walk you to the gym.”
“Oh, really, you don’t have to—”
“I insist. Anything for my favorite mom.”
His…favorite? His words leave you too stupefied to protest any further, and he takes your silence as compliance. Your body automatically follows in his footsteps as he paces down the hallways.
He looks over at you and smiles comfortingly. It lights up his entire face, but does little to ease your turbulent thoughts.
Your mind is still fixated on his words as you step onto the squeaky wood flooring of the gymnasium. Sugawara calmly walks over to the PTA president, who looks like she’s about to rip her hair out. She’s surrounded by a gaggle of other moms, all jabbering away with concern painted across their faces.
“Is something wrong, ladies?” he asks. His voice snaps them all out of their conversation, and their eyes widen as they take him in.
“Yes,” says the PTA president scornfully. “We were supposed to have the brownies here already! The sale starts in ten minutes, and if this keeps up, I won’t have enough time to inventory everything and make it presentable, and –”
“I have the brownies,” you cut in, resisting the urge to roll your eyes.
She blanches, and looks from you to the tray in Sugawara’s arms. An oh is all she can muster before grabbing the brownies and rushing off.
“Is everything okay?” one of the other moms asks, her voice laced with fake sweetness. “Oh, and you look so tired, dear. If you couldn’t manage your part, you should’ve just said so!”
“It would’ve been no trouble,” another woman says. “I’d have had no trouble whipping up a tray for you! Everyone always does love my baking.”
You grit your teeth and resist the urge to snap at them. It’s always like this – the other moms seem so in tune with their lives of domestic bliss, playing games of politics and constantly competing to be the best. Try as you might, you just can’t satisfy yourself with a life like theirs.
The material of Sugawara’s shirt brushes against you, and you start. He doesn’t pull away as you flinch, instead gently resting his hand on the small of your back. “Sorry to interrupt, but can I steal her away? Mrs. (L/N), I have your son’s science fair project sitting in my classroom. He keeps forgetting to bring it home. Would you like to go collect it now?”
You nod, relieved at the excuse to escape these women and their sickening artificial sweetness. Sugawara gently guides you with the hand on your back. You can’t help but internally smirk at the thinly-veiled jealousy on the faces of the other mothers.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
“This is why you’re my favorite,” Sugawara says, once you’re safely out of earshot. “All these PTA moms are so fake. But you’re not like that, are you?”
You nod, still a bit convinced that this is all a dream. He doesn’t remove his hand from your back as you walk down the hallways, and only pulls away when you reach the door to his classroom. He fishes through his pocket and pulls out a ring of keys, before insert one into the knob and pushing the door open. He gestures for you to enter first, and so you do, blinking at the harsh sudden brightness of the automatic lights.
You awkwardly glance around the room. You’ve been here plenty of times before, but that was all during the daytime, when it was packed full of energetic children. It feels…strange, to be alone in a classroom as an adult. Or, well, alone, except for the stupidly attractive teacher that you’ve been lusting over.
“Where’s the project?” you ask, trying to diffuse some of the tension building in your stomach. “I should head home soon.”
Sugawara leans his back against the door and cocks his head. “You know, I know what you say about me.”
“What?”
“Don’t play dumb.” His eyes rove across your body, lingering on your chest for far longer than they should. “I’m not deaf, you know. I hear all the things you say about me. You’re just like all the other moms.” He pushes off the door, stalking closer to you. You instinctively take a step back. “Only difference is, you might actually have the guts to do something about it.”
Your heart thuds in your chest, so hard that you think your ribs might bruise. “I…I don’t know what you’re talking about, Mr. Sugawara. I-”
You take another step back, and another, and suddenly your back collides with concrete. Your body jolts, and you yelp at the sudden pain.
Sugawara leans closer. One of his hands braces against the board behind your head, and the other one comes up to cradle your face. His long fingers hook under your chin and press, forcing you to tilt your head up and meet his gaze. His thumb brushes against your lip, and you can’t deny how the sensation makes your body feel like jelly.
Every rational thought in your mind is screaming at you to run, to leave, to get away from him and go back to your husband, but God, it’s been so long since you’ve felt like this. It’s been so long since someone’s made your heart race and your breaths quicken, since someone’s made you blush like a schoolgirl over a simple touch.
“What was that you said?” he asks, his voice dripping with honey. “You don’t know what I’m talking about?”
You swallow and bite the inside of your cheek. The pain does nothing to clear the fog inside your mind. “I-I don’t, I-”
“You do,” he interrupts, his thumb still toying with your lip. “You’re so fucking obvious. I bet you’re wet already, aren’t you?”
“Mr. Sugawara!” His lewd words make you gasp, but more than anything, you hate the fact that he’s right. Your body has a mind of its own, and it wants nothing more than to wrap your lips around his thumb and pull him closer. It wants to feel his arms wrapped around you, feel his body towering over you.
But you can’t. As much as you want to, you can’t, because you have a husband at home who’s waiting for you. Sure, he isn’t home right now, because he’s putting in extra hours at the office. And sure, he hasn’t touched you or made you feel desired in weeks. Hell, you haven’t had a genuine conversation in weeks. But he’s still your husband! You try and remind yourself of that. You roll the thought around in your head, hoping that it’ll push your thoughts of Sugawara away.
But the young teacher is persistent, and there’s a glimmer in his eye that makes your chest tighten. “Call me Koushi, princess.”
“Don’t call me princess –”
“What, you’re going to pretend that it didn’t make you wetter? Going to pretend that you aren’t clenching your thighs together right now?” He leans in even closer, so that his breath brushes against your ear as he whispers. “Your body doesn’t lie, baby.”
A whine slips past your lips at his words, and then you gasp, mortified with yourself. But the grin that covers his face makes your transgression worth it, because God, he’s handsome. His hand squeezes your chin even tighter, and then trails down to your neck. Your breath catches in your chest. You’re hyperaware of his every movement, of his fingers trailing across your skin, his touch feather-light. It leaves you aching for more.
You instinctively whine again, and he lets out a noise of surprised delight. “Whining like this, and you’re still denying that you want me? What’s got you so embarrassed?”
“I have a husband,” you hiss – or, at least, you try to hiss. It comes out more like a whimper than anything else.
Sugawara looks at you for a beat – and then throws his head back and laughs. It catches you off guard, and you furrow your brow. “Why the fuck are you laughing?”
He collects himself, but his eyes are still gleaming when he looks back at you. “Sure, you have a husband. But that doesn’t stop you from thinking about me, does it? Tell me, when’s the last time that your husband took care of you? When’s the last time that he touched you, or fucked you, or made you feel good?”
“Mr. Sugawara, this is inappropriate–”
“Stop lying to yourself.” His voice suddenly drops, his stare forceful and deadly serious. “Say the word, and I’ll go. We can pretend this never happened. But anyone with eyes can tell that you’re unsatisfied.”
“I…I don’t…” Your thoughts feel like a wave, building higher and higher. They bounce around your head, reverberating against your skull, so loud that you can’t even think.
“Why are you settling?”
“Mr. Sugawara, please, I–”
“Why are you settling, when you know you want more?”
The wave crests.
You don’t know who moves first, but somehow, your fingers are tangled in his hair, and his lips are slotted against yours. It’s not soft, or sweet – it’s a mess of teeth and tongues and feverish breaths. His hands are everywhere. They trail over your skin, explore the curves of your chest and your stomach, grip tightly at your waist to pull you closer.
“Mr. Sugawara,” you pant against his lips. Your lungs scream for oxygen, but you can’t bear to drag yourself away from him for even a second. He kisses so well. It may be rushed, and messy, but there’s so much hunger behind his actions that it makes your head spin. It’s like his lips are a live wire, and every second that they touch yours, they send a thousand volts of electricity arcing through your body.
“Koushi,” he breathes. “Call me Koushi, please.” You nod, and then hurriedly undo the buttons of his shirt, popping a few off in the process. Neither of you care. His hands finally dip beneath the hem of your dress, and he wastes no time in unceremoniously tugging it off your body.
Your hands instinctively go to cover yourself. Age and childbirth have changed your body, and you know that Mr. Sugawara – no, Koushi – is probably used to beautiful young women. You still don’t understand why his eye landed on you. He surely has dozens of girls his age fawning over him, with flat stomachs and perky tits. Why you?
He grips your wrists and pries your hands away from your body. “Don’t do that,” he says, so gentle in contrast to the fire from just moments ago. “Don’t cover yourself up. You’re beautiful.”
Oh.
You can’t remember the last time that someone called you beautiful. You can’t remember the last time that you felt beautiful.
But right now, with Koushi staring at you, eyes blown out with lust… you feel it.
He sinks onto his knees, lips already pressing little kisses against your hips and upper thighs. You try and protest – really, Koushi, you don’t have to – but he shushes you instantly. He hooks one of your thighs over his shoulder and dives in without hesitation. Even through the fabric of your panties, you’re in fucking heaven. His tongue laves against your clit, focusing so much attention onto the swollen bead that you can’t help but let out a moan.
You slap your hand over your mouth to silence yourself. You’re in an elementary school, for God’s sake. The bake sale is at the other side of the large building, but you’re terrified of someone walking past and catching you. Guilt swirls around your heart, but it’s quick to dissipate when Koushi tugs your panties off and throws them over his shoulder. He buries himself into your cunt again, and it’s even better without the barrier. The coil in your stomach is tightening embarrassingly fast, but you can’t seem to find it in yourself to care. His tongue laps at your folds, slurping lewdly.
The pleasure is overwhelming. Your body moves of its own accord. Your hips grind against Koushi’s face, and he moans right into your cunt. His lips move up to your clit again, alternating between licking and sucking. You’re so focused on his mouth that you barely notice his fingers, so long and pretty, collecting your wetness.
You do notice when he fucks two of those pretty fingers into you. He immediately starts scissoring his fingers to stretch you out, before hooking them against that spot inside of you that makes your head spin. Your entire body is shaking with euphoria, so much that you can’t handle it.
“Close,” you cry out, trying to keep yourself upright. “Close, close, please, don’t stop!”
He moans into you again when you tug at his hair. It’s the push that you need to finally fall over the edge. You bite into your palm to keep from screaming as you gush all over him, chest heaving and eyes tearing up.
He keeps curling his fingers, keeps lapping at your clit, until you tug on his hair and cry that the overstimulation is too much. As he lets your leg down and stands up, he makes a show of licking your cum off his fingers, slurping on them loudly. It would make you embarrassed, but you’re too focused on his other hand as it dips down to his belt. The muscles of his stomach flex as he undoes the buckle. You take the opportunity to rake your eyes over his toned torso. He seems so slender when he’s dressed, but his shoulders are surprisingly broad.
He looks up at you with a little smirk. “Caught you staring,” he teases. You blush as he pulls his pants and boxers down in one go, freeing his cock. It’s already hard, and so pretty, just like him. His tip is red and dripping with precum. You want so badly to get a taste, but Koushi has other plans. He spins you by your shoulders, and then presses at the small of your back to make you lay across his desk.
You groan when you feel him slap his cock against your ass a few times, before running it through your folds to collect your wetness. “Please,” you gasp. “No teasing, please.”
“Just came, and you’re already needy?” he chuckles. “That husband of yours must really not be satisfying you.”
You’re spared from having to think of a retort by him sinking into you. A cry leaves your lips, but it’s too good for you to even care about the sound. He feels like heaven as he sinks into you. His cock stretches you out deliciously.
You’re already feeling delirious as he starts to shallowly thrust and work his way in. “Fuck, you’re tight,” he mutters under his breath, more to himself than to you. “So – fuck…”
You can’t do anything but moan and scratch at the table as he starts to fuck into you in earnest. His cock is perfectly curved to hit your spot every time, and soon you’re reduced to a mess underneath him. His balls slap against your ass with every thrust. It hurts, it’s all too much, but it’s so fucking good. You don’t think you’ve ever felt pleasure like this – mind numbing and all consuming, so powerful that it makes your eyes roll back.
“Fuck,” he groans again, bending down so that he can loom over you and leave little bites all over your back and shoulders. “Not gonna last if you keep squeezing me like that, shit!”
“Faster, please,” you beg, and he obliges. He sets an absolutely brutal pace, somehow managing to fuck you hard, fast, and at the perfect angle all at once. Moans and cries spill freely out of your open mouth. When he reaches forward to toy with your clit, it’s all too much, and it sends you over the edge again. Your body practically spasms as he fucks you through your second orgasm. He shows you no mercy, gives you no time to come down. You don’t know if you’re coming again, or if you just never stopped. Your mind is hazy with pleasure and overstimulation.
You’re a twitching mess by the time that he pulls out, but you still whine at the loss. You’re far too fucked out to turn around and look at him, but in the corner of your consciousness, you can hear him panting and stroking himself furiously. His moans are so beautiful. Within a few short seconds, he’s coming all over your ass, painting your pretty skin white with his seed.
You don’t know how long you’re laying there before he taps your cheek to get your attention. “C’mon now,” he says, a tired smile on his face. “Let’s get you cleaned up. We wouldn’t want your husband finding out, would we?”

This was his heaven, being on a big bed with you and playing with your hair while you watched your favourite show on Netflix.
“I told you he was going to be the bad guy! I knew it all along!” You exclaimed and jumped up, startling him but ultimately, making him smile.
“It was quite obvious my love.” He chuckles and you pout, crossing your arms while you plop back down next to him.
“But he was my favourite character Felix! And he’s probably going to die now too.” You look up at him and he can’t help but smile at your adorable, pouting face.
He cups your face in his hands and you instantly smile when you see his smile. It was contagious. He rarely smiled so you just feel so much joy bubbling inside of you when the blond smiled at you and you couldn’t help it.
He quickly kisses the tip of your nose and you giggle before crawling on his lap, peppering his face with kisses and completely ignoring the show you were watching.
The room was filled with little kissing noises and giggles coming from both of you.
His hand moves from your waist to your thighs, caressing the fabric of the white thigh high socks you were wearing beneath your pink tennis skirt.
His touch comforted you and you close your eyes, resting your forehead on his and humming gently.
“You’re so beautiful.” He whispers out of the blue and you gently open your eyes, staring right into his.
A blush creeps on your cheeks and you part your lips, inching closer to his face to kiss him.
A thought bursts through your head move your lips could touch and you smile brightly.
“Can we go feed the ducks again?” You ask him, your eyes bright and excited at the memory of the last time you went with him.
He took you to the park last time and you fed the ducks together because it was something he enjoyed doing as a child with his nanny. You didn’t know that such a simple activity could bring him so much joy and you were looking forward to the next time you two did it.
His face lights up and he nods, “Of course darling.” He replies and you excitedly hop off of his lap. “Wait you meant right now?” He asks, furrowing his eyebrows.
You were already lacing up your boots so you look at him over your shoulder and pout. “Yes?” You question.
“I thought we were going to..you know..” He looks away sheepishly.
You smirk at him. “Don’t worry Felix, you can have me all to yourself later, I promise.” You say and finish with a wink.
He nods and blushes, letting out a small chuckle.
You finish up putting on your boots and wait for him to get ready before the two of you head out of his house hand in hand.
You two walk through the park, his hand in one of your hands and in the other hand you held a small paper bag full of bread for the ducks.
Children were playing all over the park and people were chatting around you. It was nice to get out of the house with him sometimes, even if he does prefer staying at home.
“Oh look it’s Felix.” A male voice said which was followed by laughter.
You feel Felix tense up and he freezes.
You were quite confused as to what was happening so you decide to turn around and see two guys around the same age as Felix and you.
“Please ignore them my love, let’s go.” He whispers to you and you furrow your eyebrows at them before nodding to Felix.
“I see you got yourself a little girlfriend.” They speak again and you can hear their footsteps behind you. “You’re making a big mistake dating that little pansy babe, come with us and we’ll show you what a real man is like.”
You were livid.
You couldn’t control yourself so you turn around, letting go of your boyfriend’s hand.
“A real man huh?” You say and cross your arms over your chest, walking up to them. “I’d rather die than date one of you hideous mother fuckers.”
They were taken aback, wide eyed, probably not expecting you to talk back.
“Felix is more of a man than you ever will be.” You stare right into the bully’s eyes. “When was the last time you ever got some huh?” your lips curl into a smirk.
“I-i…uhm, well..” he stutters and the other nudges him, mouthing something.
“That’s what I thought.” You say and turn around. “Don’t ever come for my boyfriend again.” You state and grab felix’s hand, looking up at him.
His face was beet red, his eyes were wide and you couldn’t help but grab the back of his head and kiss him right then and there.
He smiles against your lips and you pull away before the two of you walk away from them.
“That was..” He clears his throat. “hot.” He blurts out.
You cover your mouth with your hand and giggle.
The two of you continue your day near the lake, laughing and throwing bread for the ducks to eat.
He made you feel safe and now you were at peace knowing you did the same to him too.
 Luka
You’ve been waiting for this night for a long time.
Your boyfriend’s first opening gig with his band.
It wasn’t something grand and big – I mean, it was just a small pub downtown but you knew this was a big night for him and so it turned out to be a big night for you too.
You were ready to show him all your support and love, wearing your favourite flowy dress and his lucky guitar pick hanging on a silver chain around your neck.
Your friend Marinette was by your side, she even designed the costumes for everyone so both of you were super psyched for what was happening.
You made your way to the back stage and saw your boyfriend, Luka, sitting down on a chair and tuning his guitar, nodding his head to the beat.
“Luka..” You whisper and tap his shoulder.
He opens his eyes and looks at you, a smile instantly making it’s way on his face.
“There’s my favourite girl.” He says and gets up, hugging you tightly while you giggle. “I’m so glad you could make it.” He says quietly.
“I wouldn’t miss it for the world.” You say and kiss him on the cheek.
He kisses you on the forehead and pulls away from the hug, wrapping an arm around your neck.
“Hey Marinette.” He says and smiles at her.
The bluenette grins at the two of you. “Are you excited?” She asks.
“More like nervous.” Luka replies and let’s out a heavy breath. “I’m not usually this nervous but damn, I can’t believe we finally got a gig.”
You look up at your boyfriend with adoring eyes. “Don’t be nervous Luka, I know it’s going to go great.” You reassure him and he smiles down at you, nodding.
Luka is a really calm person so seeing him nervous means that this really means a lot to him. He has been practicing for weeks and you couldn’t be more proud of how far he’s come.
You gasp at the sudden realisation of something and move away from his grasp, rummaging through your little back pack.
“A-ha!” You say and pull out a blue bracelet that you made yourself.
You look up at Luka and smile before handing it to him.
“I made this for you and I want you to wear it tonight for goodluck.” You say, your cheeks heating up when you look at him as he stares at the bracelet you made. “Since you gave me your lucky guitar pick for me to wear, I thought I should give you some luck of my own.” You look down at your shoes sheepishly.
“You’re an absolute angel, have I ever told you that?” He says and grabs your hand, making you look up at him.
You glance down at his wrist and see that he already put on the bracelet.
You get on your tip toes and give him a small kiss on the lips.
“Thank you.” He whispers and tucks a strand of your hair behind your ear.
“Guys get ready in 5” Someone says from the curtains and Luka instantly stiffens up.
You give him one last kiss on the cheek before walking next to Marinette.
“Goodluck.” You say and give him a reassuring smile as you wave at him.
He nods at you and runs a hand through is hair before grabbing his guitar.
You and Marinette leave back stage and make your way to your seats.
The pub was small so it easily got crowded with people.
You sigh and play with your hair. “I’m so nervous for Luka, Mari.” You tell Marinette.
She rubs your shoulder to calm you down and shakes her head.
“He’s going to do just fine girl, you’ll see.” She says and gives you a bright smile which comforted you.
The background music playing in the pub fades away and the lights start to dim.
“La bulle proudly presents, Kitty Section!” A voice says over the speakers and whistles and claps fill the room.
The curtains open and it reveals the band in their designated places.
You glance at Luka and smile at him before the music starts.
Rose was in front, singing her heart out to their original song and Luka was behind her, nodding his head as he played the guitar with passion.
You admired him and his talents, he used to write and sing so many songs for you, little did you know that one day he would actually be performing in front of a real audience.
Luka was vocalising to the chorus with rose and his eyes suddenly find yours.
He looked amazing.
The clothes that Marinette styled them with, his skin glistening under the lights and a few strands of hair stuck to his forehead because of the sweat.
You bit your lip as you kept looking at him. He was so into the song, so immersed in everything and it was so fucking hot to you.
He noticed this and his lips curled into a small smirk.
“Wow.” You breathed out quietly.
Marinette was beaming at the band and clapping. “I know right!” She laughs happily.
You grinned and sat up as they ended and clapped.
The whole pub was clapping for your boyfriends band and you were so happy for them.
Everyone was walking to talk to them of greet them and all you had on your mind was Luka, you just wanted to hug him and congratulate him and maybe even make out with him in the bathroom.
“Excuse me.” You mutter as you try to make way towards him.
Your eye catches a blonde girl in front of him, talking to him and laughing.
You freeze and something bubbles inside of you.
Jealousy?
You weren’t the type to be jealous but you couldn’t help the feeling.
You decided not to think much of it and gulped, continuing to make your way toward them.
“Can you like, sign my boobs?” You hear her say and giggle.
“Pardon?” Luka blurts out, looking at her with wide eyes.
Nope. That was it.
You quickly move between the last few people and walk up to them.
The girl started to unbutton her shirt and you furrowed your eyebrows.
Before anything else could happen you made your way to Luka and grabbed his shirt, kissing him.
The girl stopped her movements but held her hand on the buttons of her shirt.
You pull away from Luka and watch him as he blinks a few times, dazed as to what just happened.
“go show your boobs to someone else you skank.” You spit out, narrowing your eyes at her.
She scoffs at you and flips her hair before walking away from you guys.
You clench your jaw and Luka grabs your hand.
“Hey, are you okay?” Luka says and you huff.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” You look away from him and frown.
“You know, I wasn’t going to sign her boobs.” He says and shrugs.
You look at him and roll your eyes. “Yeah.” You murmur.
“Didn’t know you could be so jealous.” He says in a teasing voice.
It was your turn to scoff and you look at him. “I wasn’t jealous.”
“Uh-huh.” He says and you stare into his eyes for a moment.
He was smirking at you, so calm, while you were red and angry inside at the thought of some bitch showing her boobs to your boyfriend.
Next thing you knew though, you were sitting on the sink of the pubs bathroom, making out with your boyfriend.

“MAN WITH A PERSONALITY like that you are never getting a girlfriend.” Kaminari says boldly yet again reminding the ash blond of his stinking pile of trash fire personality showing off he has no fear of death.
As Jirou raise a brow onto him, “You don’t have a girlfriend either.” she reminds him, “He doesn’t— but he can.” Kirishima tries a shallow attempt at helping the boy, “Very bold of you to assume anyone wants to date him.” Jirou rebuts, twisting her earplug around her finger.
“Since when was it the dunk on Denki club? We were talking about Kacchan, have you ever seen him with a girl?”
Causing them to hum and discuss between themselves; trying to think of a time he has been consistently been nice to a girl whom he has been around long enough to be dating. Completely not ignoring him and in the process annoying the shit out of him.
“I have a girl friend and she likes me exactly the way I am.” he announces to the group. Making them look sceptically among themselves not quite sure what to say, “Then invite her.” Sero challenges.
“I will.”
Tumblr media
“Can you believe them, they think I can never have a girlfriend?” he asks. Shrugging you take another mouth full, vacuuming the bowl of ramen into your stomach, “I don’t know, I’m pretty sure I’m the only childhood friend you have left.”
“That doesn’t mean shit, dumbass!”
Looking up he is staring daggers at his bowl, “Yeah, well… Most girls don’t like you screaming at them, or calling them bad names.” you tell him, sipping your water.
“Whatever.”
Having the waiter replace your bowl with ramen with new ones, you watch her place a hambuger down. Which you always down for as you glance between it and the blond he slides it closer to you, smiling softly.
“You never let me have this,” you say. Narrowing your eyes as you make your voice deeper, “you will die of if you keep eating this shit, ( y/n ).” mimicking the boy, “and now you are actively giving this…” you say suspiciously.
“Just eat it.”
Humming you take a bite of your hambuger, “That can only mean you want something.” you say with your mouth full. Cringing his nose he ignores it for the sake to continue his story, “I told them that I have a girl friend.” Katsuki starts.
Making you hum, “The imaginary space bar trick.” you tease, taking a sip of your drink.
“And we are going to this ramen shop on Saturday.” he says, ignoring my statement completely. Raising a brow at what he’s insinuating, “That’s tomorrow.” you say, playing dumb.
“I know.”
“You don’t have a girlfriend.”
“Connect the dots, shitty women.”
Rolling your eyes, “I know what your asking; I just want you to say it.” you tell him. Making the blond groan as he hangs his head back, “Fine,” sighing dramatically, like it is the worst inconvenience for him to ask.
Mumbling something along the lines of wanting you to do this for him which you honestly half-heard but you wanted to fully hear it, “I can’t hear you.” you tease.
“Will you be my fake girlfriend?” he sighs.
Moving along the table, you hug him thightly, “Ahw, Katsuki, I thought you would never ask.” rubbing your cheek against his teasingly, “Yeah, yeah.” he mumbles annoyed, yet not pushing you off.
Pulling away you hold a finger up, “One thing tho.” you say, your face as serious as you can muster — which is not very serous — “What now?” he sighs.
“You pay for today and for me tomorrow.”
“I pay for you all the time.”
Tilting your head you think back to all the times you hadn’t spend a penny as you ate anyway. Not even realising it, “I guess you do. Never really realise that.” you hum. Shrugging it off, you smile at him, “Can’t wait to meet them.”
“They aren’t that great.” he denies. Raising a brow you try to repress your smile, “They truly are heroes if they are dealing with you.” you say. Making him glare at you, “Shut up—”
“Do I need me to do anything special?” you cut off, not wanting to be kicked out and banned of yet another restaurant. Sighing, he shakes his head, “No, not really. Just be yourself… but like my girlfriend.” taking a bite of food.
Humming you nod, finishing your hambuger off, “That doesn’t sound too hard.” you mumble, washing it down with some water. Glancing back at him as he stayed silent, he looks at you with an odd expression, “What?” you ask confused.
“You make it sound weird.” he tells you, eating his food as he does. Not understand it, you shrug,“I know you very well.”
“Just be on time.”
Tumblr media
STANDING IN FRONT OF the restaurant the Bakusquad waits for the seemingly imaginary girlfriend, “She is coming.” he repeats when he sees the look on their face.
“Dude, you can just be honest.”
“I’m not lying!”
Finally spotting the spikey blond hair from afar, you run. Cursing yourself for missing your train. You tried to do it all right, just to be a good fake girlfriend for him, you didn’t even know why you tried so hard.
Sighing relieved that he was still alone, you hug his arm like always, “I’m so sorry for being late, Kacchan. I wanted a drink for on the train but then this older lady from the grocery store, you know the one. She kept going on and on and I couldn’t get her to stop—” you rant.
A small smile tucks up his lips at your ramble, “It’s fine.” he reassures, putting his hands in his pockets, “Are you Bakugous girlfriend?”
You freeze at the sudden extra voice. Turning to the voice you spot; a pink girl, a red-haired guy, a yellow-haired guy, a girl with earphones, and a guy with tape elbows.
Blinking at the group, nodding slowly, “Ashido… right?” you ask, suddenly feeling a lot more nervous. Making you subconsciously holding his arm closer to your chest.
Nodding at your answer, she tilts her head, “Katsuki has told me loads about you. All of you; it is hard to get actual names, tho.”
“I’m dunce face.” The yellow-haired boy says. Making the girl with purple hair roll her eyes, you're pretty sure her name is Jirou, he talks nicely about her, “His name is Kaminari, I’m Jirou.” the girl introduces.
“I’m Kirishima.”
“Sero Hanta.”
Nodding you try to not forget their names, “I’m ( l/n ) ( y/n ).” you tell them, “Are we going to stay outside or eat?” Katsuki asks.
Walking to the room, all of you wait outside to decide who is going to sit where before you move into the room. Letting them discuss where they want to sit and taking the seat that is left, “She should have the corner seat.” Jirou says breaking the discussion up.
“I want the corner seat.” Kaminari-kun cried out, “I never get the corner seat.” he pouts,
“You can have the corner seat.” you reassure. As Ashido takes your shoulders, “No, no, she is the bakusquad guest. She should have the good spot.” she tells you.
Making Katsuki take you into his arms, “We are not the bakusquad.” he grumbles, “Yes, we are.” Kirishima says, “No, we are not.” he denies, placing you into the seat she let you to anyway. Making the pinkette smile cheekily, “Which school do you go to?” Sero-run asks.
“You should not interrogate her right away!” Ashido whisper-shouts, which is very obvious as she sits in front of you, “It is okay, I go to Seiai. Nothing like U.A.” you tell Sero.
“For support items?” Jirou asks. Making you nod, as you take a sip of your drink, “She designed mine.” Bakugou says for you, “But they all needed to be “for killing’.” you add. Mocking his choice of wording; as even his knee pats needed to be ‘for killing’.
Humming, he sets his tea down, “She is just deflecting because she ‘forgot’ about the shirt.” he says unconvincingly, making it very much so seem like you did it on purpose.
“That was an accident.”
Making him snore, holding his hands up, “Yeah, right an ‘accident’ I’m pretty sure you just did it because you are a perv.” he says in air-quotes, “Am not!” you defend, not being able to stop laughing at the girl on his face.
“Uh-huh, say that to the top you didn’t make.”
“Why did you dating this guy?”
Katsuki his glare, “Want to die today, Racoon-eyes?” he asks her, letting small explosions sound from his hands. Which did not even make her blink.
Pulling his hand down, you smile at the girl, “I know Katsuki can be an asshole, and he is.” you start, “Hey—” he stays, “But, he is actually a really nice guy. He won’t tell you he cares about you all the time, but he will push you to be your best self.” you start
A small smile tucks up your lips as you recall the memory, “I remember when I was young and everyone told me I should be a hero and that was the last thing I wanted to be. And one day in the park I was with this idiot—” poking his cheek, he just watch you carefully, “And he told me about All Might his suit, how cool it was. And the person who made it must have been super smart. Smart like me.”
“I don’t think he even remembers that day, but that made me realise that even though I don’t want to be a hero it doesn’t mean I can’t be useful.” you say softly, feeling kind of dumb for caring so much about what he said when you were kids.
If you had looked at his face at that moment and the soft expression he held. You wouldn’t have felt that way at all, “When I told him I wanted to do something in support he was my biggest supporter.” you chuckle, “Always letting me test my inventions out on him. Never getting seriously angry when he got hurt. Letting me design his suit by just telling me the general vibes he wanted and trusting me to know what he wants.”
“His love language is trust, food, and… I think it’s acts of service.”
Making your brows furrow together at the strangely warm feeling flushing to your body due to you having been caught rambling about your friend so long, “I’m sorry, I have been rambling. What was the question again?”
Looking over their faces, all of his friends look so softly at your statement, “That was so manly.” Kirishima-kun mumbles, holding his fist up. As the rest nods, “That was so cute! You love him so much it is so obvious!” Ashido tells you, rubbing her eyes.
“Yeah, I… I do.” you mumble, shifting your eyes over your fingers before they land on him. The soft look in his eyes reassuring you.
Letting the words sink in, they stayed silent making you a little nervous, “Childhood friends to lovers. I am so jealous!” Kaminari-kun cries out, “How long have you guys been going out?”
“Uh—” we looked at each other. Not having thought about that or discussed it, “6 months.” we say in unison. Making them nod, “We went to middle school together.” he adds, which had nothing to do with it but if it makes it seem more real, it makes sense.
Getting your food, it all went well. You heard more things about Katsuki; mostly stories that you had heard from his perspective that came off really different from theirs. How he always says he is just going ‘out’ on Friday when he is meeting you, but did tell Kirishima he is having lunch with someone but that someone was always a mystery… until now.
Pulling you away from Katsuki. Ashido pulls you into a hug with Jirou, “It was so nice to meet you two,” you tell the two. Making them smile along with you, “We need to hang out.” Ashido tells you.
Nodding at her request, “And I will send you the playlist when I make it. I will be starting tonight.” Jirou adds, “On Line?” Kaminari asks, coming into the conversation, “You can’t have her Line ID, weirdo. Baku-bro will blow you up.” Sero-kun says pulling him away.
Making you chuckle as his face pales at the thought. Glancing at the blond he is nodding as Kirishima-kun is adamantly telling him something. His face naturally soft instead of the frown he makes so often.
Glancing back at the girls, you smile, “Can’t wait. For the playlist and the hangout.” you say, “We will figure something out soon.” Jirou reassures.
“( y/n ).”
Looking up, he nudges his head to the train. The number stating that it is yours, “Don’t forget about us.” Kaminari mumbles, making Jirou roll her eyes.
“I won’t.” you reassure.
Stepping into the train, you take the seat next to Kacchan. The train moving in a matter of seconds. The train cart almost empty. It was quiet, but it wasn’t awkward. It was comfortable as you listen together to the silence. Leaning your head on his shoulder, closing your eyes for a moment, “Tired?”
Nodding against him, you hum, “I will wake you when we are almost there.” he whispers. Relaxing into his warmth, you trust that he will keep you safe as your body shakes with the movements of the train.
But the warmth of the train did not last forever, stepping outside the cold temperature hits you in the face, making goosebumps appear all over. Wincing you want to curse at yourself for the second time today. At not thinking about everything before you left; first not with the drink, and now the jacket. Something you didn’t even realise until now.
Feeling warmth take over you, you look up. Seeing his coat on your shoulder, “No, you will—” you deny, “Just take it.” he grumbles, starting to walk before you continue to deny it.
He eventually slowed down and let you catch up to him. It made you smile, as you teasingly nudge his side which he ignores but the red tips of his ears could not, “Are you blushing?”
“No, it is cold, Shitty Woman.”
“How are you flushing but don’t have any goosebumps.”
“Since when are you a skin doctor?”
Arriving at your house, you grin at him, “Since I am analysing you, Katsuki. Seems like you are a lot nicer than you want people to think.”
“I’m not.” he denies. After it ends, you are not quite sure what you should do now. It was quiet for a moment before you pull him into a hug. Sighing relieved as he wraps his arms around your waist, “Uh, thanks, for today.” he tells you softly.
Rubbing your cheek on to his shoulder, we held each other for a little longer, “That’s what friends are for… Right?” you ask softly, not quite sure if you want him to agree with you or not.
“Right.”

on and off % jake
Tumblr media
pairing: playboybf!jake x reader genre: angst, fluff, lovers to exes, exes to lovers idek word count: 1.89k words requested: yes / prompt 14, “we called it off again last night.” / 18, “it’s been you all along.” / 19, “for the first time, i had something to lose.” synopsis: immaturity isn't needed in a relationship, but that seems to be jake's and your's specialty. warnings: curse words, mentions of drinking, throwing up, su!cide, toxic relationship, making out
"i thought you're going with jake today?" sunghoon asked as you hop into his car.
you rolled your eyes at the thought of riding in the same vehicle as the boy, "no, we called it off again last night."
"again?!" the boy exclaimed, "y/n, that's probably the nth time you guys called it off." he sighed in disbelief, "that's not how relationships work." he commented.
judgingly looking at his way, "yeah? like you know any better?"
"shut up." he started the engine, "this isn't about my love life."
"whatever." you blurt out, "i guess being bad at handling relationship runs in our blood." you jokingly said, as your cousin laugh.
he tilt his head smiling, "damn, of all things that can be passed down, that's what we got."
"well, at least we got good looks. that works as a payoff." he added. you agreed at him with a nod, "anyway." you changed the subject.
"i'm planning on ending it with jake." you stated. he looked at you, "no shit, you sure?" he assured, "to be honest, whatever makes you happy." he added, looking like he wanted to say something but he decided not to.
"don't apologize." you led before he could even say sorry for insisting that you should date his best friend, sim jaeyun.
"i'm not- okay whatever." he almost want to deny the urge but he saw you looking at him with a teasing face, "i just feel a little responsible for all the stress this relationship have caused you." he scratch the back of his head, as you slap his arm.
"shut up, dating him was my decision. you don't have to blame yourself for all the bad decisions i made for myself. i'm an adult now." you told him.
parking his car he nod his head, "okay. just remember i'm here if things are bad, okay?"
"okay." you said, before going out of his car. walking at the corridor of your building, trying to see if jake arrived earlier than you today.
and he certainly did. there he is on his designated seat beside the window, silently watching as the wilted leaves fall down from the tree.
the clock ticks time faster than you expected and your professor came in, not able to call out for jake's name to even talk to him.
sitting down to a chair, you told yourself that you'll talk to him later. and here you are, in front of jake sim at the rooftop of your university's main building.
it might be your lucky day for no one else is here but the two of you. this place is usually cramped with so many people and miraculously today isn't one of those days.
this may be one of the many signs sent from above that this relationship should end as it wasn't right from the beginning.
your blood boils as your cousin sunghoon pushes you into the table of his friend group, "come on! you wouldn't lose anything! he just want to talk to you." he shouts.
"then tell him i don't want to!" you shout back a little annoyed. the last thing you want to do tonight is talk to the famous serial dater, jake sim. "for i know, he just wants the best out of me!"
"come on! jake's not like that!" he defended his friend. to be honest, sunghoon is the last person you should be ranting to. for he is just like his friend, they play with girl's hearts for fun.
you rolled your eyes as you reach the table of ego. the decision of naming that wasn't yours, but the other students. they called this the table of ego because everyone in here got some solid ego. heeseung, jay, sunghoon, jake. all of them.
"y/n! you actually came!" heeseung cheered as soon as he saw you, he scooted a little bit on his right to leave some space between him and jake, "come sit!"
sitting beside him was probably one of the decisions you will forever regret in your life. the memory of that night was a blur. you barely recall anything that happened then.
the only thing that you remember was when jake was reaching for a kiss, you accidentally threw up on him before passing out.
the next day, he told you to be his girlfriend to compensate with the mess you gave his brand new shirt. you said yes just so he could shut up, telling yourself you'll break up with him after a day or two.
two months then passed and you are just breaking everything now. well, it's better late than never. you just didn't expect that he would actually be a good boyfriend.
he's mostly good, not until everything gets complicated even with nothing. you fight over the smallest thing like, not being able to respond to each other's text to someone getting jealous.
it wasn't the best relationship you've been in but it was a good experience. you learned so much and now, it's time to move on.
"what is it that you wanted to say?" jake impatiently snapped you back into reality. you swallowed a good amount of saliva before saying, "let's break up."
it was better to say it forward than beating around the bush. with this, more time and energy will be saved. because even if you give him an explanation he probably won't listen.
he slowly blinked and sighed, looking away he said "okay. if that's what you want." see. he wouldn't even bother asking you why.
well, if you get things easy. they would also go easily, "okay. it was fun meeting you." you head out, leaving him there.
he most probably would not be so upset that he might think of jumping off the building, but you still prayed that he wont.
and he didn't. you can guarantee that as you see that three weeks later jake sim is with a woman walking the same isle as you are. the chances of you seeing him here at this huge mall was small, but never impossible.
you grabbed your friend's hand trying to hide from the sight of the man, "what are you doing-"
"shut up, jake is here." you told here looking at their way, walking into a clothing store. you hurriedly go and sit at a restaurant far from them and ordered food when your friend speak up.
"y/n, what's the point of hiding now when you guys already broke up?" she patheticly looked at you who's trying to hide from a menu list.
putting the menu list down on the table, you crossed your arms, "i am not hiding from him. i simply don't want to involve myself with anything that has to do with him."
"yeah, like seeing him in a shopping mall involves you with him." she said with full sarcasm. "you have no idea how pathetic that sounded."
not listening to anything she said, you started eating your pasta. almost choking when you saw a familliar figure walk in the restaurant.
trying your best to lean down and not get noticed you hear your friend call, "jake!" you kick her feet under the table as you see jake wave back and walks closer.
"what the fuck did you just do?" you whispered at her, she just smiles like an idiot as jake reach your table.
"hello, jia." he greeted your friend, "hi, y'n."
flashing a fake smile, you said "hi." satisfied with how annoyed you are, jia announced "you guys can join us! we got two extra seats here."
"we don't want to intrude-" you cut him off, "yes, there are a lot of vacant tables. they sure can find their own, right?"
serving a glass of wine, a waiter says "oh, we're fully booked, ma'am. so if you want to eat here, you have to wait for another hour or so." he said pouring some on your glass. "if you'll excuse me."
"it would be rude if we don't invite you right? so join!" your friend cheered as the girl jake's with sit next to you.
taking a sip of your wine whenever jake helps the girl cut her steak, you became unaware of how drunk you are. "so, when did you meet jake?" you asked the girl.
to be frank, she was quiet the whole time. just sitting there, not saying a thing but a "thanks." whenever jake helps her with anything.
"you can't answer that? well can you tell me if you are able to use your hands to their purpose? like cutting off a steak or puring your own glass of wine?"
"y/n-" your friend tried to stop you. but you didn't listen. you just continued to blabber nonsense until jake grabbed your wrist to the bathroom.
shaking your hand off his grip you screamed at him asking, "why did you bring me here?!"
"y/n why are you being so rude?" he calmly asked you.
you sarcastically laughed, "i'm being rude? who's more rude when you're out here eating at the same table as your ex-girlfriend and your current girlfriend?"
"current girlfriend- y/n that's my cousin!" he tried to calm himself by breathing slowly, pushing the side of his mouth using his tounge "do you really think i could replace you that fast?"
the sudden question made you feel like someone cut off your tounge. because you mostly have answer for everything but this. his question caught you off guard.
"when you broke up with me, i never asked why. i knew you were tired and i don't want to exhaust you more." you hear his voice shake as he speak. "i was also tired and we both needed a break."
you looked straight at his eyes that are sparkling from moist done by the tears that he have been trying so hard to hold back, "but as time pass by, i felt more and more empty. there is a big mark of you in my heart that ever since you left, no one has ever filled."
"nobody could ever fit in, but you." cupping your face he also wipe your tears away. "i never felt that way before. it's like, for the first time, i had something to lose."
"jake, i-" it was as if you forgot how to compose a word. you never knew he felt the same way you did when you broke up with him.
maybe sunghoon was more of your cousin than he is jake's friend. because if jake only knew how many times you told sunghoon that you miss him, he would've came back faster than this.
he smiled pulling you into a hug, "it's fine if you don't feel the same way anymore. i understand that. but i just want you to know that i am not the douchebag you think i am."
pulling away from the hug, you see his eyes were bloodshot "sorry, the last thing i want to do is make you cry-" you pulled him into a kiss not letting another word out of his mouth.
running out of breath, you seperated his lips from yours. you widely smiled at him, "it’s been you all along."
kissing outside a three star restaurant's restroom isn't as ideal as other comeback stories, but you wouldn't ask for anything else. as long as you have jake in your arms, your heart is content.

Capcom’s Official AA Fanclub Surveys - Main Series Edition
Naturally, Capcom’s official AA fanclub site didn't only post surveys about the DGS characters; they published far more of them about the main series characters. It makes sense, as they started the trend before the DGS series had even been conceived.
Back in the old days, they used to hold a survey on Capcom’s official AA fansite every few months where they’d write about the seasonal activities of a handful of characters and ask fans to vote for the funniest/most pleasant/strangest/etc answer.
They stopped doing them in like… 2016? 2017? The original text is lost for good as far as I can tell. Even the wayback machine couldn’t help because the content was password locked and you can’t get past the password wall while remaining in the archived version.
Fortunately, I saved some of my translations of them so I thought I’d share them. Unfortunately, I was doing these translations very casually and only intended to share them with two of my close friends at the time when I did them, so some of them are just summaries rather than proper translations, and I tended to only focus on characters that we personally were interested in or scenarios that we thought were funny or interesting. That means there are parts missing, and because I didn't expect the original text to be wiped off the site I didn't save it so I could go back and fill in the blanks. Sorry about that...
Cut for length!
"Spring is on its way and each of the AA cast members spent their day off in different ways. Who's way of spending their day off sounds the most pleasant?"
Phoenix- he finished unpacking his moving boxes and sorting his seasonal clothing. While he was packing away his ugly pink sweater and such, he happened across the complete works of Shakespeare at the bottom of one of the boxes, got completely absorbed in reading, and ended up abandoning his unpacking.
Mia- She went shopping at a department store for a new summer suit. On her way, she coincidentally ran into Maya, who was on her way to the agency to hang out, but then at some point Maya vanished. Mia tried calling her cell phone but she didn't answer. "Don't tell me she's lost at her age," Mia thought, and began to search for her. She found Maya transfixed by a rooftop Steel Samurai show. It seems that she was both exasperated and relieved.
Maya- she tagged along on Mia's shopping trip, but the second she spied a poster for a rooftop Steel Samurai show, she made a beeline for the roof. She got into a cheering battle with a mean-looking elementary school boy and really enjoyed the show. When the show was over, she reunited with an exasperated looking Mia. She gleefully led Mia to a burger restaurant so they could eat some burgers together.
Edgeworth- he treated himself to a drive along the coast in his red sports car... Well, that was the plan, but then he was pushed by his mentor Von Karma into being the driver for his shopping trip. As a reward for his service, he received a brand new Von Karma style, stylish and flashy summer suit.
Then there's Larry, who dragged Phoenix to a café to hit on its hot owner, and the judge who bought a wig.
"Apollo, Fulbright, Edgeworth, Klavier and Kristoph made visits to a nursery school near the courthouse. Which of them did the most pleasant activity with the children?"
Apollo acted out the story of the “Crying Red Ogre” for the children. Phoenix played the part of the blue ogre, and Apollo was the red ogre, and Apollo’s wailing moved the children to tears too. In a panic over all the crying, they got Trucy to cheer them up with a magic trick in which she made Apollo disappear.
Fulbright: He came dressed in a blinding white costume to teach the children about justice and put on a play. The children gave him thunderous applause... But when Jinxie, who had been forced to play the part of the heroine, saw Fulbright, she thought he was the ghost of an army general, got scared, and slapped a charm on his face.
Edgeworth and Gumshoe: He and Gumshoe were going to reenact the story of Kintarou (an old Japanese fairytale). Franziska handed Edgeworth the Kintarou costume she’d designed (If you've seen Ghibli's Spirited Away, recall what Bou, the giant baby, wears. That's what we're talking about here). Edgeworth fearfully asked “You... expect me to wear this...?” Gumshoe, who had painted his whole body black to play the role of a bear, told him “Of course, sir! It doesn’t fit me!” and shoved Edgeworth out on stage in it. Edgeworth quickly began to reconsider Gumshoe’s salary for next month.
Klavier and Kristoph: Kristoph started giving a boring lecture on the importance of law, and the kids were getting antsy. Seeing this, Klavier came over with his guitar to liven things up, performing a rock style arrangement of the “The Bear Went Over The Mountain". But then he threw in the unnecessary comment of “If any of you scratch the frets of my guitar, I’ll be suing for damage of property, ok?” And they both ended up getting kicked out.
"This survey is about who knows how to enjoy a sunny day at Gourd Lake the best"
Simon: To give Taka some exercise, Blackquill took him and Fulbright (who was on guard duty) out for some falconry. Things were going well until Taka heard something about this mysterious creature “Gourdy,” freaked out, flew into the little shop selling Gourdy merchandise and started making a huge mess. Blackquill and Fulbright gathered Taka up in a panic and hightailed it out of there as fast as they could.
Edgeworth had seen Phoenix home and on his way back passed by Gourd Lake. Just as he was starting to get bad flashbacks... he happened to hear Larry in the middle of a flirting attempt and got dragged in. The woman he was trying to put the moves on was a foreigner, and she and Edgeworth started chatting in her native language. Larry couldn’t understand and was annoyed that Edgeworth was apparently moving in on his target, so he sulked and blew up at Edgeworth.
Athena tried to play matchmaker for Apollo and Juniper, so she told them to meet her in the forest near Gourd Lake so that they would run into each other there and hopefully hit it off. Juniper got there first, expecting to find Athena, but when Apollo showed up, she panicked and hid behind a tree. While she was trying to gather her nerve to go talk to him, he wandered off and she lost sight of him.
Phoenix was at the park and he got caught by Larry who was doing his part time job of selling Samurai Dogs. Larry saw a pretty lady that he wanted to flirt with so he asked Phoenix to mind the shop while he was gone. Business was slow, so he called in all the WAA members to put their full range of skills to use. They seem to have managed to sell them all!
Gumshoe took Missile for a walk in the park. They stopped for a rest and Gumshoe fell asleep, so Missile slipped out of his collar and ran over to where the Samurai Dogs were being sold. He ate them all without Phoenix noticing. Phoenix handed things back over to Larry when he got back and Larry got in huge trouble for losing so much product.
"This survey is talking about how the cast spent their Valentines Day"
Trucy gave Polly chocolate for himself and some for Klavier and asked Apollo to give it to him for her. Klavier wasn’t in court when Apollo went to look for him, though, so he and Phoenix went to the prosecutors’ office together with their chocolate. On their way, though, Apollo found himself getting a lot of strange looks from Themis Legal Academy students.
Ema gave some chocolates to Phoenix to give to Edgeworth because she suddenly got called to a crime scene. Phoenix headed over to the prosecutors’ office but Edgeworth was in court and wasn’t there, so Phoenix waited out in front of the prosecutors’ office with this flashy, girly looking bag of chocolates. Edgeworth’s trial ended up going a long time and Phoenix got a lot of stares as he waited.
Edgeworth was hit by a pollen-filled spring breeze on his way back to the office and suddenly his eyes got all red and itchy and he was left sneezing and sniffling. Phoenix came to talk to him and got quite a surprise when he saw the state Edgeworth’s face was in. The chocolates Ema gave him were in the shape of the Steel Samurai and they made Edgeworth so pleased that it seemed to ease his suffering a little.
Flower Viewing:
Phoenix and Apollo go to the park early to hold flower viewing spots for the WAA members. They see some people from around town that they know who ask them to hold their spots while they go and grab this or that. Phoenix and Apollo do their best to hold those people’s spots and in the process lose their own. They end up begging Edgeworth to let them share his and Klavier’s spot.
White Day:
Because of his painful memories about Valentine’s Day from elementary school, he doesn’t like Valentine’s Day or White Day that much. As a return gift to his beloved daughter, he gave her painstakingly handmade magic panty shaped chocolates. Apparently he forced the ones that didn’t turn out on Edgeworth...
Klavier was holding a ladies only concert, which he invited Trucy to. Phoenix was worried about letting Trucy be out at night by herself, so he sent Apollo along in disguise (as a woman!!). But Klavier saw through Apollo’s disguise easily and to Apollo’s horror, called him up on stage.
Autumn/Moon Viewing:
Phoenix, Edgeworth and Larry went to collect chestnuts together. Larry was too focused on looking for chestnuts and not watching where he was going and fell down the mountain slope. Phoenix had tried to catch Larry but he ended up falling too and spraining his ankle slightly. Edgeworth had to carry Phoenix on his back down the mountain.
Apollo went moon viewing with the rest of the WAA. It turned out into kind of an office party and Apollo had drink after drink while assuring everyone that “I’m fine!” but ended up getting pretty hammered. He proceeded to pass out and Phoenix took care of him.
Obon Festival:
Klavier performed a bonfire festival dance version of the Guitar’s Serenade at the summer festival and Apollo provided the taiko drum backup. He filled the gaps in the taiko drumming with his chords of steel, and it was a very energetic bonfire dance.
Edgeworth noticed the festival going on on his way home from work and decided to have a look. He saw Phoenix selling Samurai Dogs and desperately wanted one, but couldn’t bear the thought of Phoenix finding out that he was a Steel Samurai fan. He hemmed and hawed in front of the festival stall, trying to decide whether to buy one, but they sold out before he could make up his mind.
Phoenix went to the festival with Maya. Larry, who was working the Samurai Dog stand, called them over and forced them to watch the stand while he made a booty call. Phoenix and Maya’s manzai comedy duo style vocal advertising was so successful that they quickly sold out.
Christmas:
Phoenix, Trucy, Athena, Apollo and Pearl all spent the night at the office after their party wrapped up. Phoenix put presents next to the kids' pillows during the night.
Edgeworth grumbled about having to play Santa but dressed up anyway and snuck in at night to bring the younger ones at Phoenix's office some presents. He accidentally ends up sneaking into Phoenix’s room instead.
Apollo wanted to be a good big brother to Trucy and Pearl, so he snuck into their rooms to leave gifts but tripped over something, let out a Chords of Steel volume shout as he fell and ruined the surprise/
Klavier, as a favor to Trucy, snuck in dressed as a Visual Kei style Santa, but he announced his arrival with a rock arrangement of Santa Claus is Coming to Town and got caught and kicked out.
Blackquill had to make a jailbreak in order to play Santa, was chased down and Phoenix woke to find the police surrounding his office.

I’ll put a spell on you (Yandere!Omega!Izuku x alpha!Reader)
inspo was strange and beautiful (I’ll put a spell on you) by aqualung
a/n: boy oh boy,,,, this one is uh,,, 2k words,,,,
Summary: You were taking too long! What could Izuku do except find a spell to help speed things along?
Or
You and Izuku have been roommates for years, but you’re convinced he doesn’t like you and he’s determined to make you his.
warnings: big yandere themes,,, omegaverse obvi,,,, kinda drugging??? idk,,,, its a love spell but reader is already very in love w izuku just stupid aye,,,, very very mild nsfw themes,,,, cuts out b4 it gets too graphic, swearing, bonding, you get the picture,
“Seriously, Katsuki, you’ve gotten way too confident over the years. Was it because you needed a reminder of what it’s like to lose?” Your eyes scanned the blonde, eyebrow quirked as he struggled, “I can’t believe Shinso was right.” It was easy to block out the screams, your quirk always came in handy, even if it was just to shut him up, Rubbing your hands on your pants you turned around, eyes landing on the only other person.
“Oh, good luck Midoriya!” You grinned, giving a small wave before you ran off.
You saw more of Izuku after that, the omega always seemed to be upgrading his costume, and Hatsume had almost killed you when he’d asked you to help with the designs. It was hard not to get close to the guy, and you’d tried your best! You didn’t have time for… for people! You needed to focus on your inventions. But Izuku was persistent, and you’d soon found yourself sitting with him and his friends at lunch. You weren’t the only alpha of the group, Iida and Todoroki shared your dynamic, a fact that didn’t seem to bother anyone. You were glad, you’d never really cared about dynamics, it was nice to be around people who shared that sentiment. You’d all graduated now, and surprisingly you and Izuku ended up sharing an apartment, you did work in the same area, it made sense at the time.
“Are we still having dinner tonight?” Izuku peered into the bathroom, slight frown on his features as he observed you getting ready.
“Yeah of course man, it’s just a lunch date so I’ll be back early.” You shrugged, using your quirk to bring your jacket over.
“You could just ask me to get you your jacket.” Izuku shook his head, watching as the clothing floated over, bubble popping as your hand made contact.
“I know, it’s just a habit, I’ve always used it for little things.” You smiled as you put your jacket on, ruffling Izuku’s hair as you walked past. He was always fussing over you, or cooking, asking if you needed anything. It was cute, but you’d die before you admitted it.
“I’ll be back before you know it, text me if you need anything.” You absentmindedly pressed a kiss to Izuku’s hair, waving before the door shut behind you.
“And you’re sure this’ll work?” Izuku frowned as he flipped the bottle in his fingers, it seemed too good to be true.
“Just like the label says, omega, it’ll make anyone fall in love with ya! As long as there’s already a spark, of course! And it could trigger… their time of the month. So watch out for that!” The lady smiled at him, dark purple hair framing her face. Her eyes matched, although the purple was much, much brighter, and almost seemed to glow. Izuku nodded, grabbing the cash out of his wallet and quickly passing it over before he said goodbye. He didn’t want to be caught there, what would the press say? What would you say?
You ended up getting home late, much, much later than you planned. You’d run into friends on the way home, you hadn’t seen them in ages and well… you’d never been good at saying no. You’d texted Izuku, but he hadn’t responded, and maybe you’d stayed out later to avoid his wrath.
“God, I’m gonna have to do something to make up for this… something good.” You mumbled as you walked into your apartment, hands running through your hair as you looked around.
“Izuku? Honey I’m home!” You called, trying to lighten the tension you felt in the room. It didn’t work, and your heart was in your throat as you put your bag down. You hated disappointing people, and Izuku was always so good to you.
“There’s leftovers in the fridge if you want anything.”
“”Oh actually I’m uh… not hungry…” You trailed off as you walked into the kitchen, Izuku turning around from making something to look at you.
“Did you eat while you were out?” You must be crazy, there’s no way that was an edge to his voice.
“No actually! I just haven’t had any appetite lately.”
“You know you need to try and eat even when you have no appetite. I made tea.” Just like that his voice was back to it’s usual tone, and he sat down in front of you, pushing a mug towards you.
“Yeah I know. Thank you Izuku, you’re always so good to me. I’m so sorry about missing dinner but I ran into my friends coming home and they dragged me out and I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay Y/n, we can have dinner tomorrow, just finish your tea and we’ll get you into bed, okay?”
You were too drunk to disagree.
You felt weird when you woke up. You weren’t hungover, but something was wrong. Was Izuku okay? Wait, why were you- you should make sure he’s okay. You were only in a shirt, you didn't remember changing last night, did Izuku help you? You barely remembered anything after you’d come home, you’d just talked, drank the tea, and then it was blank. The tea had been really good, it was weirdly sweet though, you had to admit.
“Izuku? Are you awake?” You padded into the kitchen, squinting at how bright it was.
“Of course, it’s already two, I didn’t want to wake you up.” You sighed when Izuku was there, safe and happy as he always was.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m just… hungover or something.” You slid into a chair, eyes trained on the omega as he pushed a banana and some water in front of you. “They’re good for hangovers.”
“Thanks ‘Zu”
“You’re going out?” You couldn’t keep the surprise from your voice, Izuku rarely went out unless he was working.
“Yeah just a work thing! I’ll be back in no time!” The omega came over to where you were on the couch, wrapped up in a blanket because you still felt off. “Unless you need me to stay?”
“No of course not! I’ll be fine, it’s probably just a bug.” You did your best to smile, letting your friend hug you. He was about to pull away when you let your cheek brush against his scent gland, the action making you blush while Izuku smiled.
“I’ll see you when I get back!”
This was awful, you’d been tortured, kidnapped, forced to deal with Katsuki, but this was far worse. You couldn’t explain it, but as soon as Izuku was out of your sight your anxiety had skyrocketed, and as much as you tried to fight it, you were pacing in front of the door. He should be back by now, or he should have texted! What if he’d gotten hurt, he didn’t tell you who he was going out with, what if-
“Yeah Todoroki I’m okay, he was worse off than me anyway!” Your heart soared at Izuku’s voice and you were wrenching the door open without a second thought. A snarl ripped out of you when you took in your omega, sporting a few grazes and a bruised jaw that had not been there when he left.
“What the fuck happened?” Your tone didn’t even sound like you, you sounded feral. Your hands quickly reached out, pulling Izuku into a hug and growling when Todoroki tried to say something. “You can leave, I’ve got him now.”
Straight to your room was where you headed, gently sitting Izuku on the bed before you grabbed your first aid kit. Thank god it was only light injuries, you didn’t know what you’d do if something worse had happened.
“Who did this?”
“Just some random alpha tryna get too handsy, he’s in far worse shape than- are you okay?” Izuku’s tone turned concerned as you let out another growl, halfway through bandaging his hand. You couldn’t speak, you just needed to focus on this and- huh? Izuku was running his fingers through your hair, the action almost made you purr, surprisingly calming you down enough to finish patching him up.
“I should have gone with you, I should have-” “Hey, Y/n, you couldn’t have done anything, it’s okay.” Izuku pulled you up to his level and you nodded, unable to stop how your hands shook. Izuku was so close, and he smelled so good, you just wanted to-
“Did you just lick me?” Izuku looked at you with wide eyes, only now taking in how lidded your own eyes were. A low growl bubbled up before you could stop it, and you were pushing the omega down on the bed and straddling him without a second thought. This had happened because of you. If you’d claimed Izuku sooner people would know he was yours, and he wouldn’t have to defend himself. Your teeth were an inch from Izuku’s neck when you pulled back, hand coming up to cover your mouth.
“I-I’m so sorry, I don’t know what-”
“I don’t want you to stop, please Y/n.” Izuku’s cheeks were tinged pink, and god why’d you have to sit right on his hips? You could already feel him getting hard.
“Oh god, did I send you into heat? Fuck I’m sorry, I’ve been on suppressants I didn’t real-” You started, it was taking everything you had not to lose it. Izuku looked so pretty, pupils blown out and cheeks already flushed. Why hadn’t you done this sooner? Fuck. You slowly leant down, willpower decreasing by the second, and then your lips were on his. A whimper left you at how good he tasted, you’d never tasted anything this good before! You wanted more! Izuku was made for you, this only proved it. You loved him so much.
Why did your neck hurt so bad? The last thing you remembered was Izuku being injured and you patching him up. A whine made you open your eyes, disbelief shooting through you when you saw Izuku. He was covered in scratches and bites, only wearing your shirt, and sporting a bright red bite on his scent gland. Oh fuck, panic set in as you sat up. This was bad, even for you. You'd done it now, he'd want nothing to do with you. God what had happened to you last night? You were always in control, and as memories of how Izuku had sounded the night before wormed into your brain you couldn't stop your whole body flushing. The omega let out another whine, snuggling closer to your side as if he could sense how stressed you were. Well, he probably could now, the two of you were bonded. You'd completely ruined his life with your selfishness, bonds were incredibly hard to break and the pair would never be the same again. But you couldn't make him stay with you. Oh he'd want to move out wouldn't he? How could he not? You'd completely betrayed his trust and acted like every asshole alpha you hated so much. You should move too, maybe to America? Somewhere far away where you wouldn't bother anyone. Warmth stung your eyes and you realised you'd been crying, how much more pathetic could you get? Izuku was the one who should be upset! You'd ruined his life! Arms wrapped around you as you let out a sob, immediately trying to push the omega away, maybe you should just kill yourself and sever the bond like that- Then at least he’d be able to find someone he actually wanted to be with.
“Alpha… why’re you upset…?” Izuku yawned as he sat up, and you couldn’t bring yourself to speak, or look at him. The worry you could sense through the bond made your stomach turn, you didn’t deserve his concern! You were horrible, you were-
“Alpha, c’mon, look at me… please?” Izuku’s voice broke and you turned to look at him, eyes zoning in on the mark you’d left on his neck.
“I’m sorry- I triggered your heat and- and betrayed your-”
“Y/n, I love you, I wanted this, you didn’t do anything wrong.” Izuku cooed, pulling your head to his chest and running his hands through your hair like it was the most natural thing in the world. It was like a weight lifted off of your chest, like all the puzzle pieces fit together, he was all you’d ever need.
“I love you too, Izuku.”

The Smile [Jeff The Killer X Victim!Reader] [PART 2]
Jeff the killer X Victim!
WARNING: Yandere. That's it. Yandere.
I finally decided how I would write part 2 to The Smile, which is my first and most popular post on my account so far. Anyone new who has come to read this, check out my other posts as well if you'd like. I'll post more like this. I also have a Quotev account with more fanfictions.
9/12/20, 3/4 days after the top part: God, AFTER SO LONG, I FINALLY DID IT! Took me days! I'm so sorry if this is a bit lazy, it is a tiny bit rushed by the end but how would you guys feel about a detailed part 3? I'll probably go as far as a part 3 or part 4 for the final part.
The vibrations in your brain felt warm and numbing - almost like when you have a horrible migraine and you can finally feel it subsiding with your eyes closed and your fingers gently holding down onto your eyelids as if you're holding your eyes into place to prevent them from bursting out of your skull. Upon waking up you can feel cold air settling into your skin. You haven't been awake 3 minutes and you already know what you're resting on; an extremely uncomfortable metal table. You've only seen them in movies but this was real.
The sound of a singsong voice just slightly echoing through what seemed like a moderately empty room. You groaned softly as you turned your head to your right, very slowly opening your eyes. Your vision blurred in and out, which, you wanted to rub to clear it out but as you went to lift your wrists, you felt pressure around them.
Something was holding your arms down. This catches your attention, blinking multiple times while turning your head back up straight and attempting to sit up. You were hardly successful with that, struggling while grunting under your breath to pull your hands from under what seemed to be a thick rope. As you pulled harder, you sucked in your stomach out of habit before immediately coming to a halt and choking up in pain.
This whole time you were ignoring the voice that was singing eerily nearby, "You and me, always forever~"
The voice was of a male. Scratchy, shaky. Familiar.
Familiar.
You could feel a string of your heart pop out of place as your breath stopped. That's when you knew something was wrong, but it just doesn't add up. You gulp while your eyeballs vigorously glance around to see where the source was coming from, only to see a figure in a corner. It was doubled over and it was sitting down on a simple wooden chair. Doubling over a...table? An average male figure, nothing unique. Although, the clothing style was unusual. At least what was on the clothes. He wore a fluffy white hoodie and what seemed to be black pants and black-and-white converse. The problem wasn't the outfit, no. His hoodie was spotted and had patterns upon patterns of darkened and more fresh-looking blood splatter. He had long black hair down to his shoulders. And luckily, his back was facing you.
You were dumbfounded. How did you get here, why are you restrained, and why is there a blood covered man near you? Is that even blood? Maybe it's paint or a design? Some people do wear clothes that have different kinds of blood splatter designs on them. Hm. Or he's an actual murderer about to gut you like a fish.
You wanted to speak. You wanted to speak so badly but you just couldn't. As you parted your lips, your throat went dry while your gaze stayed locked onto the bloody male that sat before you. The singing made you shiver as you tried so hard to remember where you could have heard or seen him. Why can't you remember?
The male then turned around to look at you. His singing had come to a gentle halt. Your mouth closed as he did so, your throat going completely dry and your whole body feeling like an ice cube. You were greeted with cold blue eyes. They looked hungry and bloodthirsty, yet they held a warm affection as they looked into your traumatized eyes. It was almost comforting until you saw the rest of his face. His skin was snow white and his lips looked dry. That's when more attention is drawn to his lower jaw. He's smiling. Too big for a normal person.
That's when you realize. He has a large smile carved into his cheeks going from ear to ear while his own lips were curled within a smile as well. And that's when it hits you.
And it hits you hard.
The memories of hours prior start brutally crashing into you, flooding back into your numb brain. All of the realization replaced itself with agonizing anxiety, your heart starting to race at speeds that felt impossible. You could pass out, but something inside you kept you awake. Something about him and about this whole situation was making you dizzy. The male slowly stands and turns his body all the way to face you. He seemed deranged, yet, he had a very relaxed stance and body language.
Uncomfortable silence loomed in the air.
He kept staring at you before slowly taking steps forward. You watch him carefully as your head feels like it's spinning, which you could notice your vision blurring a little bit here and there. The silence is suddenly disturbed with the male speaking up again, choking up in giggles. "Oh my sweet Y/N, you're awake~" He cooed, now standing over you. He leaned himself down and reached his hand to your cheek, gently brushing your skin with his surprisingly soft thumb. He leaned his face closer to yours. The smell of booze, blood, & smoke overwhelmed your nostrils. Yet it didn't seem to bother you that much.
His touch almost kind of made you feel...at ease. Your heart slowed itself and your breathing went back to pace. You felt fine, somewhat, but something in your stomach was still sore. The more you stare at him, the more memories come flooding back. The more memories flooding back, the easier you fit the puzzles together.
"M-my...stomach..--" You stutter out painfully.
In response to this, the male turned his head over to your abdomen and gently rested his other hand onto your bandaged stomach, applying very gentle pressure on it as to not hurt you. It was still slightly painful, causing you to groan under your breath.
"Oh, this...I'm sorry, my sweet butterfly. I had to make sure you wouldn't get away, and you didn't! Don't worry, Jack patched you up, so you'll be just fine!"
You remember now. You remember it all. The chase, your friend, the salty kiss before what you thought was your demise.
You naturally wondered as well; who's Jack?
"Wh-.." You weakly force air out of your throat again to speak, "why am I..tied-?"
"Oh, so you wouldn't be able to get away. I knew you would run away, or struggles, so I had to make sure you wouldn't do that!"
He was right. You would run away and struggle to get out of whatever the hell kind of place you're in. Well, knowing what he looks like. He DID stab you, after all. Who knows what this sicko wants.
He lifts his hand from your stomach and turns back to you, gently placing both of his hands at each side of your face. "You're so beautiful, Y/N. So sweet and so innocent. I couldn't keep letting the others eat you up like candy. You're mine and only mine. I need to protect you."
"Wh-who- are you?" You weren't really all too scared for some strange reason now. You were pretty calm. Probably from all of the energy this is draining.
"His name is Jeff." A deep and gruff voice cuts in.
The both of you turn your heads to the door of the room where a tall figure in all black stood. He was about 6"4 wearing heavy boots, black jeans, and a black hoodie. His hair was a dark brown though while he wore a mask. The mask was a dark blue with black goo oozing from the eyesockets. He was pretty intimidating even just by standing idly like a character waiting to be loaded in.
"And I'm Jack." He continued, "I'm the one who took care of your wound."
Jack stepped closer, soon standing at the other side of the table. He stood at the left as Jeff stood at the right.
"He wouldn't stop insisting I help."
You just blink, unknowing of what to respond with. He pursed his lips under his dark mask, in his own thought for a moment while staring down at you. You seemed calm enough, and your still pretty fresh injury was gonna hold you back anyway.
"[P]-[Pronoun]'s gonna-!" He attempts to blurt out, only to be stopped by you.
"I won't."
You were untied at your wrists and ankles, allowing yourself to pull your legs up and rest your feet at the top of the table, propping your knees up. It made your stomach feel weird, but it felt kind of nose and felt like it was easing the pain. You wrapped your arms around your knees, looking around the room more. "What is this place?" You ask.
"It's a medical room."
"Huh.." You shrug it off. Your anxiety levels had died down and the more you actually think about it, this isn't the worst thing that's happened. Your life has been pretty fucked up and you have damaged relationships everywhere. Honestly, being around new people and being far away from others sounds not too bad right now. Not like anyone would care anyway.
The next few hours, you're introduced to everyone else at the Mansion. They've been so...unique and honestly, you're surprised some people and beings like them even exist. They were all equally surprised with how little fear you showed.
You actually got along with most of them.
The others have taken a liking to you and hope you hang around longer. Alone in the living room, you, Jeff, Jack, and others sit at the couches and chairs in the living room, chatting away and getting to know them as they get to know you.
You feel Jeff wrap his arms around you and place a gentle kiss on your forehead, making your heart skip a beat.
You found out Jeff has been stalking you for months at a time. Watching your every move, eliminating anyone in the way. Huh, no wonder so many people in your life kept disappearing. You...couldn't bring yourself to be upset or scared, let alone even sad. You felt kind of at ease.
And far from uncomfortable. Someone loved you. Maybe more than they should, but they love you.
You didn't even feel upset at the fact Jeff had murdered that friend earlier. I mean, you just met the guy, so he wasn't even a 'friend'? So you paid no mind to it.
If anything, you really liked the thrill of someone being obsessed with you. A serial killer being so infatuated with you. He could be so protective of you and get rid of anyone you asked him to! There's is an advantage here. You knew he could snap and probably kill you intentionally or unintentionally, but you didn't mind. You really had no one else, technically speaking. No one that really cared. Not as much as he did.
Maybe he isn't so bad.

A Failed Betrothal (Part 3)
There were a lack of stuff to read so I posted this instead.
[Masterlist]
(Part 1)(Part 2)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PART 3
The next day was weird to say the least for everyone but for Marinette, it was another can of worms that she wished she didn’t open. For one thing, Chat Noir’s feelings obsession for Ladybug switched from one black-haired girl to another which unfortunately was Ladybug’s civilian form. Which meant Marinette had to deal with Adrien’s Chat-Noir-level flirting and bad pick-up lines.
Perfect, just perfect.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone thought that a declaration speech of ‘being soulmates and the only one for him’ in front of the whole class from the ‘love of your life’ would warrant a ‘blushing to death and stammering’ or ‘outright fainting’. Not a facepalm, a groan, “Why me?” and a “I am sorry but NO. I don’t feel the same way about you”. Marinette vaguely wondered if there was some kind of rule for interesting events and confrontations to happen during lunch break while the class waits for Mme Bustier to start the lessons.
Marinette went to sit in her seat next to Chloe in the back row where she and her friends had been exiled to. The class was in stunned silence and questioning about whether or not they had fallen into an alternate universe or dreaming. Nathaniel and Alix tried to hide their snickers. Chloe just started outright laughing, turning very red in the face.
Marinette felt a nudge from Plagg in her bag. Looking down, she saw them holding up her phone to show Lila’s gaping face of horror with a wicked smug grin on their face. She looked through the photos to see everyone’s faces of confusion and shock at her rejection. Eyes wide and jaws dropped on the ground. Different shots of her classmates in the same state. She smirked and showed them to Chloe who calmed down enough, letting out the occasional giggles and took the phone with glee.
“Thank you, Plagg. Here you go.” she whispered, giving them a camembert macaron.(Tom had started experimenting with camembert in his recipes. Plagg is his first taste tester for all of them, making Tom one of Plagg’s favourite people.)
Adrien didn’t take the rejection very well.
“But we are meant to be. You are a designer and I am a model. Our partnership is the one to be envied by many for the ages.”
“And by that logic,” The designer turned to her main model for her MDC website, “Chloe, my love, will you be my one and only? For our love shines so bright ,paralleled only by a thousand suns.” Using the same voice Plagg does when they go on one of their love odes about camembert before losing her straight face and giggling.(Plagg doesn’t know whether to be offended or amused.)
Setting Chloe’s laughter off again. “Mariiiii,...stop….I can’t..*gasps*....I can’t…”
Nathaniel and Alix, finally lost control and joined Chloe in death by laughter. Adrien was flustered, turning red in the face either from anger, embarrassment or both.
“But Chloe isn’t a model.”
Marinette decided to put a stop to this, just on the off chance that Gabriel finally decides to akumatized his own son. She recomposed herself.
“She is the main model for my website and we have a partnership. You, however, work for your father. So does Miss Rossi. Does that sound like the partnership to be envied by many for the ages? Hmmm, Agreste? Anyways, like I said before, I have no interest in dating you.”
“Why not? We are friends and sometimes, friends like each other enough to date each other.” Adrien angrily asked.
“Because-”
“Because, Adrikins,” Chloe cuts in, “friends having to date because one of them is interested in something more makes no sense and is fucked-up. Marinette doesn’t owe you anything. Besides, she already has a long distance boyfriend who lives in America.”
“WHAT!?” Adrien shouted.
“What?!” The class had snapped out of their stupor. Since when had Marinette gotten over Adrien and had a boyfriend?
“What?” Marinette looked at Chloe with wide-eyes. Last she checked she was still single so what the hell was Chloe playing at. For Kwami’s sake, she hadn’t been on a date since the one with Luka which went awkwardly before they agreed that they think of each other as siblings and it will be best to stay that way.
Chloe gave her a look that said ‘I will explain later.’
“Oh yes, they met online a few months ago and now they are all lovey-dovey together. It’s just so ridiculous, so utterly ridiculous how disgustingly in love they are. They have video call dates at least once a week and somehow make it work despite the time differences. He once came all the way to Paris just to see her. He brought her some special flowers that apparently meant-”
Marinette slapped her hand over Chloe’s mouth. “Well, Chloe, Queenie, as much as I love you as my friend, you can stop gushing about my love life now. Because class is about to start.”
She said through gritted teeth as Mme Bustier finished taking her sweet time and walked in. Sadly, Alya wasn’t done with the conversation ,“Wait a minute, since when did Chloe and you become close enough that she is modeling for you? And a boyfriend? Why didn’t you tell me, Girl? I thought we were friends. What about Adrien, he just confessed to you and you had been crushing on him for so long” Many girls gasped, angry that Alya broke the unspoken girl code.
“You have a crush on me?” Adrien looked hopeful. Like a lost kitten that had been stuck in the rain, was let into someone’s home.
“I had a crush on you,” Marinette corrected him, emphasising on the past tense, “and Alya had no business of sharing that information to the entire world despite us not being friends anymore.” She glared at the journalist who at least looked ashamed.
“You wanted to date Kagami so I moved on.”
One of the reasons anyway. I found out that you were my partner who had no concept of boundaries. You are a coward who only wants to maintain the class peace at the price of my mental health, she thought.
“Instead of continuing to pursue you.” She hoped the ever dense and oblivious model would get the hint she gave him. Tikki ,just this once, Grant me that ladybug luck.
“And Mme Bustier, it is time to start the lessons, don’t you think? Instead of focusing on the class drama to gossip about later on.” Marinette glared at the teacher, reminding her to do her job.
“Oh. Right.” Mme Bustier tried to regain her ‘perfect teacher’ image after getting embarrassed at being caught, “Right. Class, turn to page-”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as the bell rang for the end of school, Marinette dragged Chloe all the way to her room. Alix and Nathaniel followed them because as far as they know, Marinette had no boyfriends and they were as curious to find out what scheme Chloe had cooked up this time. They were as complicated and crazy as Ladybug’s. No offense, Marinette.
“Okay, Queenie, you have to explain why I now have a devoted American boyfriend who I am so in love with.” Marinette crossed her arms with a frown aimed at Chloe. The kwamis got out of their respective hiding places and went to the tray of food set out for them.
The trapdoor to her room opened, revealing the rest of their friend group before Chloe said anything.
“Did we miss anything?” Kagami asked as Longg and Sass joined the other kwamis.
“Juleka said something about an American boyfriend and how he sounds so romantic. Does that have to do anything with the text Alix sent us to come here?” Luka added.
“To recap, Adrien made a love confession to Marinette,” Alix started, biting into some of the delicious pastries the Dupain-Chengs gave them, ”in front of the entire class after an entire day of flirting and bad pick-up lines.”
“Wow, even after having his memories erased of being Chat Noir, he is still after Ladybug.” Luka chuckled, with the others joining in.
Marinette whined, “It was easier when he was Chat Noir. But now as Adrien Agreste, teen heartthrob, it is going to be much more difficult to get into his thick head that I don’t see him that way and it is going to get harder, now that Alya outed my old crush to him.”
“Oof. Sucks to be you.”
“So, our Mari-bug rejected him. He threw a tantrum and sulked, so like Chat Noir, how did we not notice?,” Alix continued, “After demanding reasons why they can’t date, Chloe gave Marinette an American boyfriend who she was in a long-distance relationship with. Speaking of, why did you do that?”
“I have known Adrik- Adrien since we were in diapers and I know how that mangy cat works. He grew up on Disney and had all those fairytales stuffed into his head. If you had told him that you were just not interested in dating at the moment, it won’t work because he will try his hardest to ‘woo’ you, because he still has a chance. He won’t push his luck as much if you were off the market.” Chloe explained.
“I am sure that, judging by the fact that Chat Noir still tries to date Ladybug despite her saying she is in love with someone, Adrien might try to get more proof of this boyfriend to make sure Marinette is just not pretending to have one.” Kagami pointed out.
“Ahh, but luckily I have a back-up plan. I have a friend, Tim Drake. We met at a few galas when we were younger and kept in touch. He also owes me a favor.”
“I hope this Tim Drake is cute.”
“He is and he’s older than you by two years and,” Chloe typed something on her phone, “A fellow caffeine addict so you can bond over that. Here’s a picture of him and his brother.”
On her phone were two extremely attractive and fit young men dressed in expensive suits at what looked like a gala, the older one had a charming polite smile with bright blue eyes, looking somewhat interested at what someone off-screen was saying despite looking like he will fall over any moment. His brother, however, looked like he would rather be anywhere but where he was. He was tanned and had green eyes that promised murder for daring to even breathe in his direction. Marinette noticed that he looked a little familiar but she can’t place why.
“Tim is the one that looks like he hasn’t slept in days and that’s his brother Damian next to him.”
“Wait a minute. That’s Tim Drake and Damian Wayne. The sons of Bruce Wayne, the billionaire co-CEO of Wayne Industries, which Tim Drake is also co-CEO of.” Nathaniel said with wide eyes and looked at Chloe, “You are using your favor to give our Mari here a fake boyfriend.”
“Of course, only the best for our Mari-bug.”
“Chloe, no, he is probably busy as he is with running the company. No need to get him involved in petty teenage drama.” No matter how much she doesn’t want to date Adrien, bothering a busy guy to be her fake boyfriend is not worth it in Marinette’s opinion. Which, of course, gets overruled by the overprotectiveness of her friends.
“I, for one, think this is one of Chloe’s better plans.” Kagami commented, the others agreeing with her. Traitors.
“Hey!” Chloe exclaimed, an offended look on her face, “Anyways, I will call him later.”
“Children, you better go home now before your parents worry.” Sabine’s voice came from below, “Remember we are also going through some drills tonight so try not to be late.” Having a former assassin for a mother is handy when you want to train a team of teenage superheroes.
“Bye, guys. See you later.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Just because you have been trained since birth does not excuse you from the drills. You also need to get used to the black cat.” Lady Mǔ lǎohǔ reprimanded her with her arms crossed. When Ladybug started her new team, she was the first permanent member but as the team got bigger, she stepped back to be back-up and mentor for the team.
“Yes, Maman, I know but I am nearly finished with this commission. I will catch up with you later. Promise.” Marinette stretched, looking up from her latest project. Plagg was napping in the little basket she had made for all the kwamis to sleep in which fit all of them and had some extra space for Nooroo and Dusuu after they had been retrieved.
The reason she had Plagg instead of Tikki who was with Alix was because of the new tactic the Miraculous Team came up with. To keep the balance the Ladybug and Black Cat must be active at the same time but with Adrien gone, someone must wield the ring until a new permanent holder is found and it was not a good idea for both of them to be on the same person at the same time. The team decided to rotate using the earrings and ring between them with Marinette using other miraculouses when the others have them. It also had the added bonus of making it harder for Hawkmoth to find out who has them at any given time.
“See you later, 灵儿 (líng er, means intelligence). I will give you 15 minutes but that’s it. Don’t be late.” Sabine sighed and got out the skylight and went towards the safehouse where the Miraculous team met to get training. (It is one of Sabine’s emergency safehouse to use in times of emergency and it had the required space to train 6 teenagers. Chat Noir never came to training, lazy cat.)
Marinette never made it to the warehouse.
Because a few minutes after her mother left, the skylight opened to let in five figures dressed in dark colours to easily blend into the shadows like they were trained to be. Too bad they weren’t as quiet. Marinette immediately summoned a bo-staff to defend herself.
One of them lunged at her and she retaliated by hitting the end of her staff to their middle, coupled with a couple more blows and landed one that knocked them out. The others threw throwing stars which she dodged by jumping back. Which landed her to be trapped by the two assassins, whom she didn’t notice, had moved. She cursed in every language she knew as she struggled against them. It led to no avail as she was badly out-numbered. There was a prick on her head and her world went black.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Plagg awoke to a loud commotion. Irritated, they poked their head out to see their new temporary kit knocked out, tied up and hauled away. Recognizing the kidnappers as assassins of the League of Shadows, they scowled. Ra’s Al Ghul was going to pay.
Plagg may not act like it much but the black kwami was patient and smart. Smart enough to leave a note with an explanation somewhere visible with the messy aftermath of a fight before trailing the assassins. Oh, Roarr’s tiger was going to be pissed once she found out what happened. Wherever they were taking Marinette, it would be best to have a kwami of destruction to help her escape. The night made Plagg almost invisible and allowed to move unseen. They caught up easily and hid in their holder’s midnight hair. Now, their patience came into play. It was a matter of waiting for the right moment to pounce.

Speak now, or forever hold your peace. (Finale)
Summary: The ghosts may have left, but the wedding they officiated is not something to be easily forgotten. Will unsaid feelings remain hidden? Idia thinks so, after seeing you with your admirers.
Idia x GN!reader. Reader is MC, or takes the role of MC in this story.
(Part 1) (Part 2) (Part 3) (Part 4)
Warnings: none
After that 3-star difficulty sidequest, it was finally time for the ghosts to leave. They were filing out through a shimmering silver portal to the Land of the Dead, which you joked about jumping into “for the meme”. Idia was quick to discourage it. The joke would’ve been funny at any other time than right now.
Each ghost made sure to give the newlyweds their congratulations. Each congratulation made Idia want to take off into the night, never to be seen again. It was beyond embarrassing. Unbearable. Way past his limit of social interaction capability. Things were getting way too much to handle for his now-empty Energy bar.
While Idia longed for the comfort and isolation of his dorm room, you were the one who thanked the well-wishers and said the goodbyes—from a safe distance, of course.
“When we return, I want you to meet our baby!” Eliza announced before she stepped into the portal. You and Idia shared a look. As if reading each other’s minds, you checked your schoolmates’ faces for their reactions—which did not disappoint. Different ways of saying “Don’t come back!” filled the hall, in varying degrees of anger and vulgarity. Before she disappeared for good, Eliza huffed and stuck her nose up in the air—an expression that tonight’s failed suitors knew all too well.
At her departure, the portal shrunk into a mere speck until it completely disappeared. Then came the loudest cheers of the night serving as Victory fanfare. It was all over! But before he went, Idia hoped to say goodbye and take a look at you in your suit one last time. Or maybe even ask you to hang out tomorrow, depending on his current Courage level.
While he silently rehearsed his thank-yous and good-byes, he wondered if you knew that you were still holding his hand. He decided not to mention it.
Unfortunately, his brief moment of (weak) celebration was cut short when he noticed that the now-mobile Groom Rejects were approaching. They might as well have red bars floating over their heads to warn him of danger. He froze, contemplating whether to:
> Bear it and stay with you just until he was prepared to say goodbye (+10 relationship points -20 comfort LV)
> Just run off on his own without saying anything, ignoring your calls. (-10 relationship points +10 comfort LV)
For now, he decided to stick with Option 1. Just a little bit longer.
“That was amazing!” Deuce exclaimed, rushing over to give you a high-five. You laughed and  met other high-fives, low-fives, fist bumps, and head pats that came your way with that lovely smile of yours.
Suddenly, Ace rips you away from him. Suddenly, you weren’t holding hands anymore. The loud first-year put his arm around you and Idia couldn’t help but notice how easy and natural it looked. Meanwhile, there he was: someone who needed to rehearse his goodbyes.
Clearly, there was a huge level difference here and Idia was the one disadvantaged.
“Our hero!” Ace yelled, inspiring more cheers. The distance between you and Idia grew as your wave of admirers and friends swept you farther and farther away. He was an outsider once again, stuck watching the fun from the sidelines. Their eyes sparkled. Their mouths smiled. Their loud voices laughed and praised you and laughed with you again.
They loved you. And Idia was no different.
Everyone’s Friend and the Weird Shut-in. Was there hope?
“Brother, I’m so glad you’re safe!” Ortho’s voice cut through his stream of thoughts. Immediately, he feels the weight on his shoulders lighten.
He watched as his brother, his beacon of hope, made his way around your fan club until he eventually reached his spot. Ortho wouldn’t care if he looked like a loser, standing there awkwardly at the side all alone. Finally, he was saved.
My savior! “Ortho! Thank you, thank you…”
“No injuries… tense muscles… an increase in cortisol production,” Ortho muttered, frowning. “Are you okay?”
“No…”
Ortho nods. “We’ll return to the dorm, then. But before that, we should thank the Prefect.”
“Oh… right.” Idia looked over to you, still surrounded by your “fans” like the SSR character you were. You listened to Azul, who prattled on and on about something that was oh-so-interesting that you couldn’t take your eyes off him. And Vil judged your suit’s design, reaching out to fix something near your neck. You cracked up at something Floyd said. You posed and smiled beside Cater as he took a selfie with you.
His mind raced as it continuously spotted the students on his list and everything they did. What was so interesting about Azul? What was so funny about Floyd? Did you like Vil’s hardworking, confident attitude? Did you think Cater had a way with words?
He looked away.
“Ortho, I’m going back to my room,” he said with a heavy heart, admitting Defeat. He was underleveled, had zero energy, and zero SP (social points). He’ll see you… some other time. After his cry-sesh, maybe.
“Huh? Don’t you want to talk to the Prefect first?”
“I’ll just… DM them later,” he lied. In truth, all he wanted was to drown himself in a video game while he gorged on candy and tried not to think about you. Ortho’s eyes narrowed, but followed him as he sneakily left the hall anyway.
You’d understand, right?
Once he and Ortho were out, he looked back at the hall doors, hating himself for being too shy and cowardly to make a move. He imagined charging back into the room, wedging himself in between your friends, grabbing your arm, and pulling you away. Then he’ll kabedon you and—
Who was he kidding? He can’t do that, and you probably wouldn’t like that.
“It was terrible, brother. Nobody wanted to help!” Ortho said, and Idia thinks he didn’t need to be reminded that nobody liked him.
“When the Prefect and I reached Diasomnia, we expected them to reject us too…” he mused. “But Malleus Draconia agreed to help us! Can you believe it?”
“Wait… Malleus-shi?”
Ortho nodded enthusiastically. “Yes… because the Prefect talked to him… and then he cast a charm on them to help us ward off those ghosts! It was really nice of him.”
“I see…” Idia knew that you and Malleus were friends. But to actually help you and him? Maybe your relationship with the Diasomnia dorm leader ran deeper than he thought. Why else would he go through that trouble?
“The Prefect volunteered without needing to be asked, you know,” said Ortho, who he now noticed was observing him carefully. Idia tried to ignore the way his brother’s eyes lingered on him as they walked (floated in Ortho’s case).
“...I’m so glad their plan worked!”
Wait, what?
“Volunteered? Their plan?” All this time, he thought you’d been forced to do this by the Headmaster! You did always rant about Crowley promising you different sorts of rewards if you did jobs here and there. But… you got yourself into this mess… all for him?
Idia looked at the hand you held just moments ago and dared not hope again. Maybe you would have done this for anyone else in his place. Maybe you treated everyone the same, and it just so happened that he was the one kidnapped by a ghost bride.
Still, he felt bad for not doing as Ortho said earlier. It was too late to turn back, however, as Idia and Ortho finally reached the Hall of Mirrors.
“Finally… I’m so tired,” said Idia, meaning it in all ways. But as he put one leg forward to enter the door to Ignihyde, he heard someone’s voice, along with the scuffle of shoes against the floor coming closer and closer to where he and Ortho stood.
“Idia, wait up!”
Oh no. It’s you. Enter now! Enter now!
But no matter what his head told him to do, he remained rooted to his spot. He stood still despite his pounding heart, that elevator-like feeling in his stomach, and the blaring alarms in his head.
Object of affection at 5m…
Ortho was probably seeing his vitals going haywire and giving him that look again. He turned to look at his brother… only to not find him there.
Help… oh no…
2m…
“Hey,” you gasped out, catching your breath. “When I turned around, you were gone…”
Yeah, same. Just like Ortho…
No one said a word for a while. The silence was only filled by your heavy breathing as it slowly evened. Inwardly facepalming at himself, he decided to take the chance to tell you everything he should’ve said before he left.
But before he could open his mouth and apologize for leaving, (gods know he had too many things to apologize for after tonight), he was taken into a warm embrace.
OHMYGODSOHMYGODSOHMYGODSOKAYLET’SCALMDOWN
“I thought I was too late.” you mumbled into his suit.
At that moment, without anyone else around, nothing else mattered but the safety of your arms. And damn, how good it felt to be embraced. Did anyone else get these hugs from you? Idia didn’t think so. He hesitantly lifted his arms up and hugged back.
Looking up at the domed castle ceiling, he wondered what he did to deserve something this good.
It’s okay. I can have this. He allows himself to melt into your arms, head drooping down to rest against your neck.
“G-good thing you weren’t,” he finally whispered back, freezing as he heard you sob against his chest. Oh no, oh no, what do you do when your love interest is crying? Quick, quick, pull up the archive of romantic scenes from your memory.
“Hey, hey, I-I’m okay, you see?” he said, patting your back awkwardly. You let go after releasing another sob to wipe your eyes with your sleeve.
“Sorry I got your suit wet,” you said softly, turning your face away. “I’m really, really sorry about what happened there too.”
“About what?”
“The whole wedding thing...” You took a quick look at him but immediately dropped your gaze to the ground.
Idia blushed. “I-It’s okay! D-don’t worry about it… I-”
Come on, say more! Ugh… I hate myself.
You pulled at our vest and slipped something out of it—an envelope. “I… wanted to tell you everything through a letter.”
Tell me what?
“But… Eliza came and took you before I could give it to you.” You avoided his eyes as your fingers tightened around the white envelope. Idia’s breath hitched, expecting you to crumple it. But to his relief, your fingers relaxed. Then, as if it took all your courage, you handed it to him with a slightly shaky hand.
“It's old-fashioned, I know but yeah... just read it!”
In the hall’s silence, he could hear your breaths quicken once again.
“Th-That’s all I came here for. Goodbye!”
Before he knew it, you were running off. Your arm waved frantically from a distance as every step carried you farther, farther away. He lifted his arm to wave back but you never saw it. You were gone and all he had left was the letter.
His curiosity made him impatient. With fast and purposeful steps, he sprinted on the way to his room. What did he feel? Excitement? Dread? An unpleasant mix of both? His room, feeling farther than usual, was the only safe place he could experience whatever it was.
After a lot of walking and almost slipping over someone’s spilled soda (he cursed the shoes those ghosts made him wear. His very own would never fail him like that), he found himself in front of the doors, which slid open, revealing Ortho already inside.
“You left me there!” Idia huffed.
“Couples need alone time, brother,” replied his brother, innocently blinking.
“Wh-wha… we’re not a couple!”
“Hmm? I could’ve sworn the signs were all there...”
A blushing Idia threw off the silly coat those ghosts made him wear and threw it over his desk chair. He sat on the bed, fingers racing to open the envelope. Ortho watched with great interest as two sheets of paper covered in your handwriting slipped out.
Unfolding the first page, Idia took a deep breath and began reading:
Hey Player 1!
Sorry I couldn’t make it tonight last night. Maybe you can show me your new manga tomorrow? I know how excited you are about it.  I’m writing this while Grim’s asleep. He’ll never let me hear the end of it otherwise.
I figured that this would be the best way to communicate my thoughts and feelings. This way, you won’t feel pressured to respond immediately. You can open and read it whenever you’re ready, in the safety of your room. I know it’s old-fashioned. But to me, a handwritten letter feels more personal—like I’m giving you a piece of myself. So here’s that piece of myself. Please, handle it with care.
Beware. I’m about to get sentimental and mushy and cheesy and everything you cringe at! I hope you read on, anyway.
First of all, I want you to know how much I admire you. Right from before we were friends, I was impressed by your intelligence and knowledge with technology. I’ve seen nothing like it back home. I always wondered why you hide yourself and those talents away. My curiosity drove me to want to get to know you. I’m glad I did.
You were closed off. To you, I was just another normie. Do you remember? Your dismissal annoyed me, so I challenged you to a 1v1 match. I thought I was good, but you crushed me. I guess that’s where it started: our friendship… and something else. Soon, I found more and more reasons to admire you. Honestly, I find more with each passing day.
I should have known, right from when songs started to make me think of you, that I was falling. I started to see you as, well, more than a friend. Your quick mind, your expressive hair, your soothing voice, your precious grin… your voice when you talk about things you love, your love of cats, and your candy, and your cold hands… Okay, I think you get the point.  But if you have time, I could go on forever.
There’s something different in your eyes when you truly care. You say you’re bad at being sentimental and feel-y, but that’s okay! We express love differently. I see your love pour out in the way you perfect every detail on Ortho’s modifications, anyway. I’m sure he knows how much you love him.
I want you to know how special you are to me. You’re so amazing, Idia. I wish you knew that. I want you to know that.
I know it’s hopeless. You’re the young master to a noble house. I’m just… me. A homeless, magicless foreigner with nothing to my name. Nothing to offer but my feelings (and my superb gaming skills of course). I’m not asking nor expecting to be your special someone. But hey, I can be a top-tier teammate. A worthwhile BG opponent. A movie buddy. And most importantly—a friend.
Our time together has always been a highlight of my difficult stay in NRC. The times we hung out in your room were my refuge from the outside world’s demands. Somewhere I was untouchable and safe from harm. Safe from demeaning remarks. Even if you never get back to this letter and decide you never want to see me again, I will always treasure the matches we played, the movies we watched, the candy we shared, and the memes we laughed over.
That’s all of it, really. Please don’t sleep too late. Watch your sugar intake. Listen to Ortho. Take care of yourself.
Oh, and enjoy your new manga.
Your best raid teammate,
Player 2
Wide amber yellow eyes glistened as they repeatedly flitted over the words. A shaky thumb caressed the smudged ink from where a fallen teardrop marked the paper. Burning different shades at once, fire-hair slowly released itself from the tie it was forced into. Now free, it swathed Idia’s back in warmth like it should.
“Th-This can’t be real!” he sputters as he waved your letter around like he was fanning a bonfire. In a way, he was.
However, Idia knew his hair wasn’t the only thing that kept him warm. He stared at the letter and it stared back. But no matter how many times he blinked, the words remained the same. You felt the same.
“What have I done to unlock this route?” Idia clutched the letter to his chest, but noticed he was wrinkling it. “Nooo!” He quickly smoothed it over again.
“They… they like-like me!” Saying it out loud made it more real. It was a fact! It was true all this time! Thinking of everything you did tonight: rescuing him like a true hero, running after him because you couldn’t keep your feelings secret for much longer… he couldn’t stop himself from swooning.
“Like-like… did you mean love?”
“L-love?” Idia exclaimed. He suddenly felt dizzy, so he fell back onto his bed and talked to the ceiling. “It’s too early for that word!”
But he knew the effect which that word had on him didn’t go unnoticed by Ortho. Well, at least he knew now that Idia wasn’t suffering from an illness. Can love be considered an illness? Idia recalls a documentary that said it was. Back then, he ate that up. Love made people do crazy things, after all.
But ‘illness’ wasn’t an apt word to describe this dizzying happiness surging through him, was it? It was way too wonderful for a word like that.
“I’m so glad the Prefect finally confessed!” Ortho bounced happily, reflecting his brother’s joy. “I knew they would do it soon!”
Mouth hanging open, Idia looked at his brother. “Wait… you knew?”
“I’ve known for a while,” Ortho giggled. “Vitals can’t keep secrets!”
***
Contrary to plan, Idia didn’t touch his video games, nor gorge on candy, nor cry himself to sleep. Instead, he replayed the night’s events in his head over and over like a song he couldn’t get enough of. It had been two hours and thirty-five minutes since he read your letter. Two hours and thirty-five minutes since his world was turned upside down. In his reflection on the dark screen of his off tablet, he almost looked different. He saw someone who was admired. Wanted. Loved.
Was that what you saw whenever you looked at him?
Ortho told him what the next move was: asking you out. He was scared. You might have changed his view of himself a bit, but that didn’t mean he was suddenly ready to go the distance and conquer the world, or whatever those overenthusiastic extroverts say. The night was still too much, and maybe he still needed those three weeks of being a complete hermit.
Okay. Maybe with your help, I'll get there little by little.
Perhaps you could watch a movie in his room... Would you be okay with that? You always hung out with him in there. But what if you wanted to do something outside? Eh, maybe it all didn’t matter, as long as you were together.
When he put on his headphones, he knew which song to choose right away. There was one forgotten song in his music library that he couldn’t bring himself to delete. A love song. It wasn’t a bad one, because Idia would never keep a bad song in his music library. It’s just that the lyrics  were too happy—its singer so blissfully in love that it amplified the loneliness that had always been there.
Now playing: “Immortal Flowers” — SERPINA
This time, it’ll be different. Tonight, he puts it on repeat. He listens to it with a head for once clear of uncertainties. Instead, he thinks of fluffy otome scenarios.
That date idea would have to wait. For now, he’ll imagine and dream of you, with your warm smile and open arms—skin basking in the glow of blue fire light.
THE END.

(Part 1) (Part 2) (Part 3) (Part 4)
There you have it! Thank you for reading. I had fun writing this 4-part series. Would love to hear some feedback!
Btw, the title of the song Idia listens to at the end comes from “Conversations with Persephone” by Nikita Gill. “What Hades gave me was a crown made for the immortal flowers in my bones.”
