My dear Keycie,

I spent the night unfollowing eating disorder and self harm related blogs on here, I logged out of my edtwt account and I deleted my thinspo Pinterest boards. I deleted MyFitnessPal, my weight tracker app and my fast tracker app. I came across a lot of triggering content at once and it was very long but it was necessary.

I have 500 followers on that twitter account, which isn't a lot but is more than my main Instagram's follower count. So it technically used to be my biggest social media platform. I started it two years ago and I don't think I logged out for more than two or three weeks ever since then, but now I'm gone for good. I'm not deactivating it even though I know I should, I feel there are too many important things there. It was like a diary to me, and I would share literally everything. Sometimes looking up words like "friends" "mom" or "crush" on it is fun, because I can find all kinds of different and contradictory stuff I posted during the past two years. I just feel like I should keep this archive.

Also it's a kind of "box situation" like I wrote about some time ago. I know a few months after writing about this I opened the box again. And it's still somewhere in my room even if I don't feel like using it at all. Maybe I'm just not strong enough to completely let go... But I think not having the account and the tumblr tags and the calorie counting apps on my phone is a good first step. I hadn't done anything as significant for my recovery as this in the past two years. Which, come to think of it, is a bit ridiculous. I've attempted to "recover" in the past, but never deleted the weight loss related apps from my phone before, maybe without admitting it to myself I was kinda lying about being dedicated to getting better. But maybe this time is the one right time where everything works out and I heal for real. The day I wrote about in my first ever blog post under the cherrysletters✿ tag.

I was listening to music when unfollowing the edblr accounts and Teen Idle by Marina came on and I fucking cried. Because it hit me, the fact I was suicidal, making myself puke and phased out all the time at age 16. I should have been, idk, having fun. Why did this all happen to me ? This was all so unnecessary. I remembered the fact I didn't think I would turn 17. I went back to what I wrote on here on my 17th birthday and I cried. It's not often I feel sorry for how I treated myself, but rn I really do. I guess I finally really snapped out of it. Not saying I will never be destructive to myself ever again, or that I am completely cured of whatever problem I used to have... It's just that I somehow only now realise I'm not sixteen anymore. And that me proudly fueling my ed was a long time ago, me actually planning on taking my life was a long time ago and now I'm eighteen and this is pretty much over, so I can sit back and think "Shit, that was a lot".

My mother being abusive towards me is over as well. Two months ago she apologized, admitted it was all very unfair and that I didn't deserve it. This is such a huge change in my life, feeling comfortable at home. Because since I started high school, I think what made me cry the most was my mother's word to me, or remembering them or remembering that she used to hit me. And I cried in front of her for it, a lot, from when I was 15 when I started realising it was messed up, to not long ago. But she never apologized before that day. In conversation I brought up the fact that the first time I opened up about being suicidal, she told me to go ahead and kill myself, and she said she didn't remember saying that. It really sent me spiraling I snapped yelled and cried and told her everything I had on my chest, and later she told me she was sorry for everything.

It brings me a huge sense of relief, for her to admit that she did something wrong, just like when during the 2021 gay pride some guy from my high school I seemingly didn't know came up to me and apologized for bullying me. It's like- a proof it actually happened and actually was wrong and not just me making shit up in my head.

I'm saying all this because now that I don't feel pain at home, don't self harm and try to eat normally, I can almost say I'm finally free ! "Almost" because I don't want to jinx it, and because I know my wellbeing works in waves of ups and downs. But like for now I feel like I can enjoy life without having to worry about a big dramatic thing. And I guess that gives me the space to reflect on what life was like not long ago, and that's why I cry. I don't have to cry about whatever's happening right now so get to cry a bit about how hard high school was, then I can move on and be happy for a bit.

you can ignore me completely since this is a diary blog but i wanted to say, as someone in a VERY conservative red state i somehow stumbled naturally across another queer plural person... (At work i complimented their hair and asked to be friends, after we started hanging out for some months) however much I've tried to be friends with them though it just... it's not turning out well. i hope you have better luck than me, and you find good friends. idk if we live in similar states or not but if you want another online friend, let me know. :-)

as for your situation... i really do hope it improves. If not by clicking with them, at least by moving on and finding others. I mostly only meet people at cons since it's much safer there but the amount of times i've tried to get to know someone and it hasnt worked is almost laughable. Luckily for me there's a con this weekend so i get to try again, but i get that feeling and im sorry we've both gone through it. i know theres a lot more of us out there than it seems like but finding them is the tough part especially right now. I just try to remember that we'll survive it somehow.

the biggest compliment out of this text was how my blog expresses my personality. I really love writing my unfiltered thoughts under my posts and i sort of treat it like my virtual diary. When did you start taking surveys? Do you remember any of the very first ones you took?

I think in 2022 I picked it up for real, but I was occasionally taking surveys in my previous main blog that has been removed. It's dating back to 2015, I think.

In 2022. I decided it would be my place just to ramble about my shit in a way that is acceptable here.

Well, I don't think it's an addiction. But it's certainly one of my hobbies that I always come back to.

No and no. I treat it as my personal space, kind of like my diary. Why would I attack others for sharing their opinions, though? We live in a free society. I may disagree with someone, but I keep it to myself.

Listening to the music or TV in the background so I can watch with one eye.

On the couch in our living room, in the hospital and at my parents place, but their internet is not the fastest ever. That my verbal expression hasn't improved that much since I was in school.

Every time I give them up, I eventually come back to taking them, so I guess it's one of these recurrent themes in my life.

It's both a diary and a distraction to me. The only reason I don't give long answers are my verbal skills.

002.  laura's  technically a canon character and belongs to jeff davis because of that, but i've been developing her for years now, and she's basically an original character since we get very little info on her!   all headcanons, development and the like belong to me, and at this moment, i am not duplicate character friendly because of how much work i've put into her.  she  is  also  been  adapted  to  fit  multiple  fandoms  such  as  the  vampire  diaries  universe,  the  hunger  games,  teen  wolf  and  more,  so  if  you're  not  familiar  with  her  canon,  that's  okay!  i  can  easily  adapt  to  just  about  anything.

003. laura's development is heavily tied to headcanons and a lot of ideas of my own, and there are many side characters that are featured on a sideblog to this one, @herpack. you don't have to follow that blog and interact with it, but just saying, it could be fun! a lot of those characters will also be mentioned here and there when it comes to furthering laura's story, so if you're lost, you can find the characters important to laura's development there.

good morning/evening/afternoon. i'm writing this because i don't know what else to do. there are 12 people, not including myself, at my school, which is an isolated farm in the woods. for those reasons, i crave human interaction, however online it may be. as you can probably tell, at 13, i have become a living trope. i am a pessimist, depressed, i have no friends and the list goes on. i know nobody will ever see this blog, and that i'm boring, but i suppose i want to put my thoughts out there just in case. i will be treating this like a diary, be warned. i hope it's worth it. i just got caught on my laptop at almost midnight for this. my parents are strict and by the time i come home tomorrow, my mother will be demanding my laptop. i have 2 sisters, one 9 and one 6, and a lizard named Tim who i love very very much. i enjoy music, but only a select type. i love horror, gory movies with iconic villains like Scream and A Nightmare On Elm Street (the 80s-90s were peak horror). and i read so much my classmates joke that i don't even know their names. i'm not very smart or funny, and sometimes i cry for no reason. i have a lot of opinions about things that i probably should not have opinions on and i love talking about my opinions (feel free to ask me for some). that's all i can think of about myself, so i'm going to go back to my netflix docuseries now. goodbye. this is dumb, but i'm finally starting an actual draft of one of my books. i've had it in my head and i've had it outlined but i've never actually Started it.

anyway,,, what's your opinion of books which switch POVs between the main characters? i think it can be well done... but in some books i've read, i've hated it. especially when there's like one person's who is annoying? that you want to skip. :') however, this would be just between the two main characters.

also,,, is present tense ok to write in? i never use past tense and it's... fucking me up.

The Bunker Party - Sept Debrief

Hey my darlings! 

We promised you a bunker edition of our Bunker Party and man...we were not lying. We have SO much stuff to share with you, my little excited fingers cannot type fast enough. 

September’s Bunker Party was just amazing. It was so lovely to see so many new faces! My cheeks still ache from the laughs and it was so lovely to see so many of you sharing your love for all things Supernatural. Seriously, SPN does have THEE best fandom and I’m so glad to be a part of it.

6 and a half hours we were hanging out for…SIX AND A HALF! To see so many beautiful faces, hear so many lovely voices and to spend time with new people was just a dream! The support from you guys for each other, the love in this fandom; I can’t express how much I adore it.

Me and @katehuntington​​ love holding these events and we are already planning the next live stream (date to be announced) but it will be in October and my even hold a spooky theme...

If you like destiel, she is writing a Destiel fanfiction called Long Jacket which has a take that we’ve not heard of before.

I guess I can go with four I’ve been heavily involved with, even though there’s plenty more than that since I’m a little fangirl at heart, but wrestling (obviously), black sails, the night shift, and pirates of the caribbean how has the pandemic been treating you? uh, I mean, it hasn’t been great and I’ve had to deal with some pretty bad shit as all of us have, and probably some of my worst mental health battles I’ve had to face in about a year or so, but honestly? I just kind of count my blessings these days. lucky to still be employed, even if my pay got a little cut it was nothing that keeps me from paying my bills. all I had to do was take away a few luxury things to make ends meet, and that’s a lot, LOT less than other people have had to do. so yeah, it’s been pretty shitty, this year has been bad news after bad news both personally and globally, but whatever. it could be worse. a song you can’t stop listening to right now? it is no-joke like a four-way tie. a bunch of good songs were in my discover weekly and I’ve been playing four of them on non-stop repeat one after the other. oh! and one my best friend showed to me. this baby don’t cry by k. flay, rock bottom by grandson, ok ok by hoko, and insurgents by the poolside by denny recommend a movie. i’ve jumped into holiday mood early af because tbh I need the holiday cheer, so keeping in that theme, I suggest the holiday with jude law because DUH how old are you? thirty! school, university, occupation, other? had some college, been working in my current career for the past ten years. hoping to pursue a promotion finally since my supervisors have been telling me for the past eight years that I need to promote do you prefer heat or cold? cold pleeeaaaase! I’m a radiator and put off heat like nobody’s business. I’m always warm. name one fact others may not know about you. this is hard because I just constantly blab everything about me, and I have two people who literally know EVERYTHING about me lmfao uhhh I guess... something people may not know... uhhh... on my dad’s side of the family one half was ashkenazi jewish who had to flee germany to avoid the holocaust, where they went to live in italy, while the other half were nazi’s committing some pretty bad stuff that my family won’t talk about, even to this day. funny how two descendants eventually met in america and fell in love, huh? and when they DID fall in love one of them was half italian and in the mafia! so I always joke that my bubbly cheerful self is a descendent of some pretty evil shit, and it feels like a nice little stab at those shitty ancestors of mine. are you shy? uhhh yeah and no??? like. I think I’m shy, since all interaction terrifies me and exhausts me, but everyone tells me I’m a social butterfly? and I’ve noticed in places I’m comfortable and confident, I do tend to be less shy and more involved and interactive? but I think I can be shy. a lot of waiting for other people to initiate because I’m too afraid to, struggling to talk or carry a conversation at times... I don’t know I think I’m overcomplicating this answer LOL preferred pronouns? she/her!  biggest pet peeves? gatekeeping, to be perfectly honest. I stopped following wrestling back in 2014 because when I first tried to get into the fandom, someone was trying to gatekeep a wrestler I also liked and had started making content for and they made me feel like shit for liking them, and I absolutely hated it. that’s why it took me an entire two years of quietly lurking in the wrestling fandom before I finally got brave enough to come out of the woodwork, and I’m grateful I’ve been so well received this time around. but now I’m hyper-sensitive to gatekeeping and I fucking hate it. no joke. and since it’s a pet peeve and I’m irked just remembering all that bs I went through, ima say I’m only a part of fandom to share my love of whatever that thing is with other people who love it too. I can’t stand anyone who thinks they have some sort of “claim” over a celebrity or a show or anything. get a different identity that isn’t wrapped up in that thing and stop seeing it as a threat when other people like it. be happy someone else is as passionate about that thing as you are and make a friend. damn. what is your favorite “dere” type? I’m pretty sure this is something with anime or that originated from anime, right? unfortunately I don’t know what they are so I can’t say LOL I don’t even know if I’m right about it coming from anime tbh rate your life from 1-10, 1 being crappy and 10 being the best it could be. 4, 5, but I’m putting in the foundation now and working to make it a 6, 7, or possibly 8 by a year or two from now. what’s your main blog? funnily enough? this one. my OTHER blog that was my main blog since I joined tumblr in 2009 got shoved to the side for this one last year LOL I assumed I’d log onto this blog once in awhile, but now it took over my whole damn life so here I am I guess list your side blogs and what they’re used for. LOL), and then I have one more blog but it’s locked and private and it’s LITERALLY my diary where I can just vent when I got shit I wanna get off my chest but don’t necessarily want people to see it. I may not even talk to you weekly. socializing takes a lot out of me, on top of an already energy draining day-to-day in my personal life. A/N: I hadn’t expected to do a part 2 but a couple people asked and I thought eh why not? So, this one may be a little different than what you may have thought it would be. It’s a whole lotta fluff and some redemption. I wanted our JJ to have a happy ending for once. I hope you guys like it.

You and JJ had just left your doctor’s appointment. You’d just hit the 5 and half mark of your pregnancy and had finally found out the sex of the baby. JJ was obsessed with your belly. He wanted to touch it all the time and talk to it.

You and the pogues had been sitting around and JJ comes running out of the Chateau, a baby book in his hands along with a cd player and headphones. “What in the world?” You ask, laughing as he drops to your belly.

He adjusts he headphones over your stomach, glancing at the pogues, who like you, have a look of confusion on their face, “It helps with early brain development. I found this classical CD in John B’s dad’s stuff. It can help stimulate the fetus’ brain and assists with the growth of brain structures.” He motions to his head, looking around at you and the other pogues. (Credit: here!) 

“Okay…” You laugh a little as he plays the music. A few seconds in that’s when you feel it.

“Oh!” Your eyes are wide, holding a hand to your stomach.

“What? Did I do something?” JJ panics, eyes wide.

You laugh, shaking your head, grabbing his hand, “the baby is kicking!”

JJ’s hand presses to your stomach and the baby gives off a good kick. “He did it! He’s kicking!” JJ looks around at the pogues excitedly.

You laugh, shaking your head. JJ was for sure it was a boy and well, you were for sure it was a girl.

“Ah!” Kie squeals, sitting next to you.

“Wait seriously?” Pope asks standing behind JJ.

“I wanna feel!” Kie presses her hand near JJ’s, another kick, “Ah! Baby pogue is kicking!”

The rest of the pogues then took turns feeling the baby kick. Since then, JJ couldn’t keep his hands off you.

You kept the ultrasound that told whether it was a girl or boy in a small envelope, which would later be given to Sarah and Kie. They were throwing you a gender reveal party tomorrow at the Chateau; Sarah and Kie taking care of everything. You and JJ were currently on your way home. JJ looked like he was a million miles away.

You reached over and took his hand, “Hey.. you okay?”

He glances over at you and nods, “Yeah yeah. I’m fine.”

You give his hand a squeeze, “You sure?”  

He nods again, “I’m fine baby..” He gives you a reassuring smile and presses a soft kiss to your hand. His mind had wondered to his dad, wondering how he was.

He hadn’t spoken to his dad in months. After the run in with his dad that night when he found out you were pregnant, JJ went home to get more of his things. Your mother had agreed to let him move in, considering his home life. His dad and him got into it pretty good again that night. JJ ended up with bruised ribs and more cuts and bruising and since then he hadn’t spoken to him.

However, you had been in contact.

After the first ultrasound, a month after the run in with his dad, you dropped by his dad’s house. Which was stupid of you. JJ made you promise you’d never go by there, especially alone. However, you didn’t listen and stopped by there. You knocked softly on the door, “Mr. Maybank?”

He’d come to the door stumbling, looking like he had woken up from a nap, “What the hell do you want?”

You nervously bit your lip and held out a copy of the ultrasound picture.

He took it and looked at it, pulling his glasses over his nose to get a better look, “Huh.” He looked up at you, “JJ know you’re here?”

You had shaken your head, “No sir… And I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t tell him. I just wanted to bring this by you. You’ve treated JJ horribly his whole life and I think you should go to hell for what you’ve done to him.” Taking a deep breath, you put a protective hand over your stomach, “But I believe you can change for the better. No drugs, no alcohol and sober up. I believe you can be a better man for your son. And now your grandchild. A man JJ would be proud to have in his life. I know what it feels like to not have a parent, my dad died when I was young, and JJ deserves to have a good father. I’m giving you a chance to change. If you want to be in your son and grandchild’s life, then you need to sober up.” You stand tall, looking up at him.

And every appointment after that, you would come by to drop off the new ultrasound photo and each time, you saw a noticeable difference in him. He was getting help for his addiction. He was cleaning up around the property. He was changing and you could see the difference. You never told JJ what you had done, and Mr. Maybank didn’t want to you to tell JJ until he was 100 days sober.

Sarah and Kie had done a great job around the chateau. They hung pink and blue streamers, lights in the trees. The tables had pink and blue tablecloths. There was a cake on one of the tables with either a pink or blue color inside. You had a pretty sash over your body, mommy to be written in gold letters. JJ sat with Pope and John B. Your mom and family were seated around, and you sat with Kie and Sarah, munching on some chips.

“What the hell is he doing here?” You heard JJ yell. 

Looking up, there was JJ’s dad, walking over with a present in his hand. He was clean shaven, clean clothes. He was 100 days sober.

You smiled and got up from the table, just as JJ did the same.

“You’re not welcome here!” 

You quickly grabbed JJ’s arm, “Hey.. calm down.” Looking at Mr. Maybank, “I invited him.”

“you did what?!” JJ looks at you in disbelief.

“I invited him.” You stepped from JJ and gave his dad a hug, “Thank you for coming.”

He nods, handing you the present, “It was the deal remember.”

You smile and nod, “It was. 100 days sober.” You turn around to JJ, who’s looking at the two of you with utter confusion.

“What the hell is going on?”

His dad steps toward JJ, “I’m sorry for the shitty life I gave you. You didn’t deserve it.. I want to be a better man, son. For you and my grand baby.” He slowly puts a hand on JJ’s shoulder, “I’m 100 days sober. Been working on myself since your lady here stopped by a few months ago.”

JJ looks at you, “You did what?”

“shh. This isn’t about me.” You wave him off as his dad continues talking.

“I’m proud of you son for the man you’ve become. So proud of you.”

JJ’s eyes are watery as he stares up at his dad. All he wanted was for his dad to say he was proud of him. All these years. He lets out a sob as his dad engulfs him in a hug, patting him on the back, “You’ve turned into hell of a man.”

Later, you and JJ are standing behind the table, ready to cut the cake as everyone stands around.

“1…2…. 3…!” JJ slowly pulls out the piece of cake, “It’s a boy!” He grins, showing off the cake.

Everyone around erupts in cheers. JJ wraps you in a hug, “I knew it!”

You laugh and nod, “Hopefully, the next one will be a girl.”

JJ pulls away from you, his eyes wide, “Woah woah… next one? Oh no honey. We’re not having another one for a long while! For once, I’m keeping it in my pants!”

Lately, it’s been work work work... trying to be creative and sleep in between lol

I’ve never been such a big fandom lover but there are a few I enjoy seeing, especially on my tumblr dash. I have been following some cc blogs about teen wolf, the 100 and the vampire diaries and, growing up with these shows, I have a soft spot for them! ALSO, another small one I’m dying to see more on my dash is sense8 ✨

6: How has the pandemic been treating you?

Work has been hectic since the pandemic started, and I’m not complaining. I know many people lost their jobs, my father owns a restaurant and the situation hasn’t been so good on this kind of business here, to put it lightly. So, speaking for myself, it hasn’t been so bad I guess, as I never really stopped working. But I miss my friends like crazy, we had plans on travelling together, going back to London for christmas and such so everything has been put on hold. I feel like we’re waiting for something without knowing if or when it will come. The uncertainty of it all makes it stressfull. I feel like I’ve been wasting so much time and I hate that feeling. We’re not gonna talk about the anxiety rising like crazy and the lack of sleep. Beside all that, girl is t h r i v i n g.

I graduated from university a few years ago now. I have a bachelor degree in applied foreign languages (international trade) and I started a master degree in marketing and management but only graduated from the first year (out of two) cause girl got ✨ h i r e d ✨ in between after an internship. So my current occupation is commercial and marketing assistant!

11: Do you prefer heat or cold?

Heat, I can’t stand the cold, but a nice warm breeze is fine 👀

12: Name one fact others may not know about you.

I’ll stay in the theme and say I used to write, back in the days 👀 but not ff! I was on several hq rpg forums and met some amazing people there, some of them have become real friends I still talk to regularly 🧡
