All those people you mentioned seem tiny to me. And I’m 5'1’ lol. But yes it’s bc they are next to tall folk.

Really? I’ve never seen anyone call Poe, Obi-Wan, Cassian etc short, much less tiny. In fact, I keep seeing them called tall, which is ? but okay.

I’m 5′4″ and I’d never consider people over 5′8″ tiny by any stretch of the imagination. For men, anything much over 5′10″ seems tall, anything under 5′7″ or so seems short, and in-between is sort of average. 

...Okay, I had to check, and if Wikipedia can be trusted, the average height for men is 5′9″ in the US, 5′9″ in Scotland, and 5′5″ or 5′6″ in Mexico. So yeah, none of them are short.
