Hey, I was going through your resources page and noticed you don’t play with all the EPs. Do you intend to get them all or are you just going to buy the ones that suit your playstyle? 💕

that's a good question, i played sims 3 for a looooong time with just the 'starter pack' (base game + late night + high-end-loft stuff), because i couldn't afford anything else 😅 it's only in the last 3ish years that i've slowly been adding each EP as and when i can afford them and get the urge to play them

i think sims 3 is such a big game i honestly don't think it needs all the expansions to make it enjoyable, i know that with just the expansions i own, i definitely still haven't explored all the career paths or possible play styles

the only non-negotiable expansion for me is seasons tbh, the rest of them i could take or leave and still have a really fun time playing the game!

but long story short, i hope that eventually i'll own the full collection - i'm only missing Showtime, Island Paradise & Into The Future now! i’ve been thinking that one day i’ll do a lepacy / completionist challenge and get them all then :D

side note: i only found out about websites like cdkeys about 2 years ago, so the hefty price of the expansions was probably the biggest roadblock for me before then lol - i really didn't want to spend £30 on an expansion for a 14yo game 😭😭 - it blew my mind when i found out you could get them for like £2 each hahaha
