"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," the guilt was eating him alive. What was he supposed to do? He hasn't gone to work for a few days, hoping to avoid Kira.
You stood in front of him, your soft hands cupping his cheeks, worry in your eyes.
How could he look at you.
How could you look at him.
"Satoru," you caressed his face, "If somethings bothering you you can tell me, I'll be here for you."
If only you knew.
You wouldn't want him.
Who would want him.
Because if you did, you wouldn't be loving, caring for him like this, you'd be disgusted, disappointed.
"It's okay," his face buried in your chest as he cried, "I'm here."
What if he hid it.
What if he just didn't tell you.
It would break you, he doesn't want that, he doesn't want to see you look at him with that look in your eyes.
He doesn't want to see your world crumble infront of him.
"I love you."
He cried harder.

2 lines.
Another one.
2 lines.
A trip to the doctor
"Congratulations"
Congrats? Is that what this is? "Ms. Mizuki?"
What was she supposed to do?
"Uh– yes?"
"Mr. Gojo is in his office today, he wants to see you."
That's it!
Her chance.
It was an opening, she could have him. She could be with him. She's carrying his child, he'll want her, no, he'll need her.
"Mr. Gojo, your sched—"
"As of today you are no longer needed Ms. Mizuki."
He needs her.
She walks towards his desk, her steps echoing in her head.
She leans over, "You need me."
Tumblr media
The horror and utter dissapointment he felt in himself.
"I'm pregnant."
"What—"
"You need me. Imagine what I could do, what we could do. We could be happy." She brought his hand up to her lips, kissing each knuckle. He could only stare in horror, thoughts of you in his mind.
It wasn't supposed to be like this
Guilt riddles him as he lays on your lap, thriving off your presence. You bring him so much joy and happiness, ignorant to his infidelity, smiling at him.
Where would he be without you?
Your hands lost in his white locks message his scalp, humming a soft tune. "You seem distressed love," he couldn't hide anything from you, "would you like to talk about it?"
He couldn't feel like this anymore, he doesn't want to hurt you.
You deserve better
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"I love you so much it hurts."
Tears slipped from his eyes
"I'm sorry Y/n, I'm so sorry."
He sat up and you pulled him into your warm, secure embrace, comforting him.
He doesn't deserve you.
Tumblr media
"So he just started crying and wouldn't tell you why?" You sat at a Cafe with your good friend Nanami. You've known Nanami since highschool, graduating together, and even going to the same college.
If you had to be honest, before you met Gojo you had a huge, gigantic, practically obvious, crush on him. Since your last year of highschool you'd been staring at him all googly eyed. It wasn't till you started college that you realized how you felt, but with how obvious you were being and Nanami not catching on, you came to the conclusion that your feelings were unrequited and gave up.
So when you met Gojo at a party during your 3rd year of college, everything about him intrigued you. From his dashing white hair, to his crystaled blue eyes, you were smitten.
"What happened after," Nanami took a sip of his cofee, "did he tell you this morning?"
"Nope," you took a bite out of your donut, "he acted like nothing happened, kissed me goodbye, and left for work. He didn't even give me a chance to say anything!" Gojo's actions this morning irritated you.
But just as you were irritated, you were worried, what did he do to make him apologize to you like that? To cry so much?
That's why you decided to hang out with Nanami today, also because you missed the company, but you wouldn't tell him that. Nanami gave good advice and company, which was something you definitely needed right now, something Satoru couldn't give sometimes.
The two of you left the Cafe, happier than when you entered it, "What should we do now?" Nanami looked at you confused, "Go home, what else?" You just stared at him, was he crazy? This is the first time you've seen him in a long time and your having so much fun.
You poked his arm, "We're having so much fun, why stop now!" You giggled, grabbing his hand and pulling him to God knows where.
The man could swear he was falling for you all over again.
Even if it was wrong because your already in a relationship, Nanami can't help but think about how he always wanted to be with you like this. How only you could make him feel this way. He hated when Gojo took you away, especially how you ran after him, leaving him behind.
He wanted to walk with you, side by side, not staring at your back while you giggle with that man. He wanted you so bad, he needed you to be his. He knew you liked him but he was scared, scared of what you would think once you really knew him. He thought about it for so long that when he was ready, you'd already let go.
So when he saw you happy with Gojo,
He let go.
But being with you like this today has his heart beating like crazy, and butterflies dancing in his stomach. Before he could stop those feeling from arising again, here you are, wrapping your warm hand around his, pulling him along.
And he'd forever follow.

Nanami Kento x Reader
Warnings: sfw. pregnancy mention, death mention, minor injury mention. mild angst. jjk manga spoilers/shibuya arc spoilers
Summary: some pregnancy fluff with nanami
Word Count: 2.2k
jjk masterlist
Greys dot at his temples, and the sides of his beard. There's a permanent line between his eyebrows from scowling. Nanami always kept his face shaved in the past. Nowadays he hardly bothers shaving. You like it when he has a little bit of scruff, and he's often too tired to shave. His cheeks are far more gaunt. He lost a considerable amount of weight he never really gained back. You’ve been trying to get him to eat more. And it's working, but recovery isn't a short process. It was a long road that sometimes it feels like you take one step forward, only to take ten back.
He finds himself questioning if he'd rather wear a glass eye, or an eyepatch.
Nanami hardly sees the point in either. So the answer is neither. He rarely leaves his house, save for the rare times you drag him along to the grocery store, or down the street to the bakery. Even then, he wears his hat low on his head, keeping his eyes on the ground in a feeble attempt to make himself as small as possible.
Shibuya left scars on everyone who had the misfortune of being there, ones that never quite healed right. You were the same person; torn apart and put back together wrong. Age has not been kind to you, your wounds taking longer to heal, an ever-present ache in your bones. Past injuries have never quite healed, only laying dormant, waiting for the weather to sour so they can ache. He guesses he can consider himself lucky. He's alive. That's more than a lot of people can say.
But sometimes he thinks the real lucky ones were those who didn't survive.
Sometimes he thinks he's dead. In the twilight between sleep and his waking moments, he wonders if he actually made it. He wonders if he really survived, or if this is just some last ditch attempt by his brain to make sense of things.
He doesn't understand why you stay. He finds himself wondering why he bothers. Most days he doesn't see a point in continuing. But he doesn't want to leave you alone, reaching out to the empty space where he used to be.
For a long time he struggled to find purpose to all this. He wanted a reason, or at the very least answers. But he never would get them. It's unfair to say there’s an order to the universe. There's no reason why things happen the way they happen, they just do.
In the end he came to terms with it.
He remembers the glint in your eyes. A mischievous look- you were always trying to cause trouble. It's never really left. You were younger than him. Not by much. Two years. You were adamant he recommended you to become a grade one sorcerer. For months you pestered him, hounding him for that recommendation. As a Jujutsu High first-year, you looked up to him. When you got into trouble, you found yourself asking 'what would Nanami do?' And as time went on, you still did.
After months of pestering he eventually caved. You're nothing if not persistent. It was a little alarming at the time, and equally as irritating. But when you were finally a grade one sorcerer, he was there alongside you to celebrate.
At first glance, you two were far from compatible. The two of you couldn't be any more different. He was stoic and stern, and you were a known troublemaker. Your cursed technique worked well with his, and as a result, you went on many jobs together. As time went on you grew close.
And after years of working together, he finally realized he wanted more.
To everyone around you, your feelings were obvious. The two of you were hopeless. Between your stubbornness, and Nanami’s refusal to believe Gojo, neither of you wanted to be the first to confess. It was up to Gojo to help. Neither of you asked for his help, he took it upon himself. Little did he know, Nanami had a confession planned.
Nanami never got to have a proper confession. Gojo would spoil the surprise. Nanami was pissed, but your reaction was worth it. He doesn't think he’s ever seen you that happy.
Slowly things got better. Your more visible wounds healed and scarred. You went back to work. Nanami settled into domestic life better than he thought he would.
The transition wasn't the easiest. Settling down was far from an instantaneous change. He took on work around the house. For a short time you kept a ‘normal’ job. Even when you were younger, such work never suited you. Between the money you had saved up from your years as a sorcerer, and the money you got from odd jobs, you had enough to live comfortably. There was no need to work.
Slowly he started to look forward to getting up in the morning. Having a routine helped. It gave him a sense of normalcy.
He often finds himself unable to sleep. Nanami falls asleep late in the afternoon, and sleeps until either his phone, or a nightmare rouses him.
Today it's neither. He was a light sleeper before. Now even more-so. When he’s next to you, sleep comes to him easier. His arms find the swell of your belly, wrapping around it protectively. Your presence is a reminder that you’re still around, that you're not going anywhere. His shoulder aches. He finds sleep impossible. He’s too sore to move, but too sore to sleep. Even before everything, he found it easy to sleep on his couch, and hard to sleep in bed. You’d constantly pester him that sleeping on the couch wasn't good for his back. But that wouldn't stop you from staying there until you both inevitably fell asleep, and he carried you to bed.
It took you years to convince him to have one. He wanted to settle down and have children, but he couldn't be both a sorcerer and a parent. And neither could you. Shibuya only set things back. The world had to heal first. Things had to get better. The two of you had to heal before others could rely on you.
You weren't actively trying, but if it happened, it happened.
You've long since fallen asleep in the crook of his neck. He hardly left bed all day. Things were getting bad again. Sometimes months would go by where it seemed things were improving, only for them to take a nosedive. He’s still getting better, but recovery isn't a linear process. You didn't have anywhere to go that day, so you stayed right by his side. You took it upon yourself to make him feel better. Or at least bother him until he got out of bed. Much of your morning was spent watching movies on your phone, and stealing blankets from each other.
Retirement was nice. Granted, you retired rather young, but if the rest of your life was spent with him, you’d be content. He’s still the same man you fell in love with all those years ago. Aside from the occasional, safe-ish odd job, you were done with sorcery. Those days were past you.
He’s grown tired of staying still. Sometimes moving helps the aches. He never was the earliest riser before, but now he can hardly stay in bed past seven. Everything hurts. No matter when he goes to sleep, he’s usually up by 7:30, and you can count on him making coffee in the kitchen.
It's hardly past nine. The sun has completely set over the horizon. Stiffness has set into his limbs. He takes great care to not disturb your sleeping form, tucking the blankets back around you.
You nuzzle into the warm spot where he once was, a frown burned into your face. You never liked sleeping without him. Nightmares struck you frequently. Often you'd wake up from a dead sleep in a panic, calling out for him, convinced that this was some sick dream and he died years ago. He’d often wake up to you clinging to his arm, face buried in his shirt.
But he was always there.
You find it easier to fall asleep when it's light out. You don't like falling asleep in the dark. He makes sure to keep a light on in the hall. The power bill you could care less about. Nightmares came to you in the dark. Your logic is that, if there's no dark, you won't have them. To some extent it works.
It's a bit late for dinner, but he finds himself in the kitchen anyway. He wants udon, but the shop you normally go to would be closed at this hour. Their mushroom udon is the best. He’ll try to recreate it.
He sets some water on to boil, along with some frozen gyoza to thaw that you always insist on going to this one specific market in Tokyo for. Chicken and leek, with lots of ginger. Your favorite. You go through so much of the stuff that you have to get it in bulk, and freeze the extras. He thinks you’ll want tea too, so he sets the kettle on to boil.
He doesn't hear you walk in. Between the clanking of pots, and the whistling of the kettle, your soft footsteps go unheard. Nanami’s hearing was never quite the same. But he senses eyes on his back, and turns.
“I didn't mean to wake you, love.” He says.
“You didn't. I was having a hard time staying asleep anyway,” you say, “what’re you making?”
“Mushroom udon and gyoza,” he says, “it’s gonna be kind of a late dinner, but I thought it sounded good.”
“Smells good,” you say.
One of his hands finds your much smaller ones. Your fingers lace with his. His hands are warm, and calloused from years of using his weapon.
“Remind me to get more tea when I head into town tomorrow,” you say, “oh- and rice too. We were getting low the last time I checked. Do you want to go too?”
He nods. He makes a silent note to add those, along with laundry soap to the shopping list.
Before, he hated going into town. Strangers poked and prodded, and asked about his scars. It's gotten better as time goes on. If cravings struck you in the middle of the night, he would be up and ready to bring you something. Craving the mochi only sold by a specific shop in Tokyo? It doesn't matter if he had to take the train all the way to the city, he’d do it. Your arms wrap around his waist from behind. He’s a bit too tall for you to rest your head on his shoulder from behind. You have to stand on the tips of your toes to press a kiss to his cheek. He smells faintly of laundry soap, and shampoo. His stubble brushes against your lips. You always liked when he grew it out.
He pulls you so you stand in front of him, your back against his chest. His hands find the swell of your belly, wrapping around you protectively. Nanami plants a kiss on the top of your head. It's one of the few moments you feel truly normal. You’re no longer sorcerers, but a couple sharing a romantic moment, one building a life together.
He’s hardly allowed any distance between you two. Nanami acts like you’re made out of glass. He’s almost afraid to touch you. God forbid you try to lift something too heavy, or help out with the housework. He’s on you in an instant, trying to get you to rest. He’s a bit overbearing when it comes to things that aren't good for the baby. No alcohol, no caffeine, no overexerting yourself. You didn't miss alcohol all that much, but you really miss coffee. At times his presence can be suffocating. He means well, even if it gets on your nerves.
When the noodles are done, he gathers two bowls- part of a set given to you as a wedding gift. You only brought them out to use when your parents would visit. Much of the time they spent gathering dust. You always talked about using them more, but never got the opportunity to. He figures now is as good a time as ever. You set the table, setting out a few candles. He’d break out a bottle of sake if you could drink, but you just settle for tea.
"Retirement looks good on you," you say.
“It looks good on you too,” he says.
Conversation carries on while you eat. The topic falls onto mundane things that make his heart flutter only when you talk about them. You make plans to go shopping in the morning. You need groceries, and there’s a new shop opening up in town that you want to check out. When you’re done eating, you help him clean up. You clear the table while he gets the dishes.
He’s finally found his place. Not in jujutsu or human society. Not among sorcerers or regular people. His place is beside you.
And each day, he finds himself falling more hopelessly in love.

Gojo Satoru x Reader
Warning: angst to fluff I suppose. Also the fact I proof read this at 3am and thought it was good so I’m posting it now before I regret it and re-write it 6 more times to then give up ✌🏻😝 anways
Part 2? I have a good idea but it’s up to you guysXD (which I’m not gonna lie part 2 would probably help it make sense)
Summary:
~~
Tumblr media
Out on our own
Gojo Satoru. Where do you even start to describe that man? Or how you fell for him?
That’s all you could think of when you looked towards him. Smiling softly at his feature that he showed proudly or the features he kept hidden away like his eyes. His eyes were something you could get lost in any day of your life and maybe that was one of the reasons you had fallen for him.
You smiled softly as he spoke to you, he was telling you another story of his students. You knew more then anyone how proud he was of them, even if others thought otherwise. That was another reason you had fallen so hard.
You had known gojo for many years and in those years you actually got to chip away at his god complex and get to who he truly was. He didn’t know you did it until it was to late and he suddenly couldn’t let you go.
If you had known falling for gojo would one day lead you to losing him, you still would’ve let yourself fall over and over.
Dreamin in a world that we both know
You sat by his side quietly, watching his smile brighten more and more. It was a rare chance the two of you got to be alone.
You glanced down at his hands as they gently and mindlessly played with yours. He must’ve caught onto your lack of attention because suddenly his hands were moving to your face to gently return your gaze to him.
“What are you thinking about?” He asked, rather softly. Something you had gotten used to. In these rare moments he liked to be his quieter self to relish in your presence rather then his own.
You took his hand from your face and gently kissed his palm before you looked out at the buildings that surrounded the school. You locked his fingers with yours and leaned your head on his shoulder.
“Just everything I suppose.” You chuckled, watching his thumb draw circles into your hand. “How was I able to get the infamous Gojo Satoru to fall for me?”
The question was more of one you were asking yourself but he kissed the top of your head and answered, “because you showed me love. You loved me for who I was and not just for my power or strength” he squeezed your hand, “I’ve loved you since we started highschool you know?”
Your head shot up to look at him, “seriously?!” He laughed.
“Don’t look so surprised,” his laughs died down and he brought his hand back to your face and suddenly the atmosphere changed. He used his other hand to pull down his mask, allowing his hair to fall and for you to see the sincerity in his eyes.
He brought you closer kissing you softly, you could feel his eyelashes tickle your cheeks with butterfly kisses as he closed his eyes to enjoy the kiss.
You melted into him, you always did and you were sure you always would.
Is out of our control
But if shit hits the fan we’re not alone
“I’m sorry y/n.” Shoko spoke softly as if scared you would break down at any point in time. “I can only do so much from here though, you should see a doctor.
“Are you positive?” You asked, after you sat silently for a moment processing the information she had just given you. You looked to her with tears brimming your eyes and reluctantly she nodded. “So what’s the point of seeing a doctor? You told me everything I need to know.”
“Y/n maybe they could give you something to help, to keep you alive.” You got up from the chair with a sigh and looked at your friend with a small smile.
She wasn’t good with emotions especially when it was her friends. She went to say something else but stopped when you took a deep breathe, “in your opinion, do you actually think they could help?” Her silence told you everything you needed to know.
“How long?” You whispered out, still trying to keep your tears at bay.
She sighed, “I can’t give you an exact time but not very long. It’s progressing very fast. It’s already progressed so much since the last time you came in for a check up.” You we’re both silent refusing to look the other in the eye. “How has Gojo taken it?”
“I haven’t told him.”
“What?” She looked to you in disbelief but you just shrugged in response. “How have you been able to hide the symptoms this long?”
“I’m just good at covering I guess” some tears slipped unwillingly from your eyes.
“You have to tell him.” You nodded in response before bidding your goodbye, sparing her a thank you.
As soon as you were out the door Gojo was by your side with a curious head tilt, silently asking what you were doing but you just smiled at him. “Just needed help with a case.” Before he could complain about you only needing his help you spoke again, “you know you have me? Right? You know I’ll always be there for you.”
Cause you’ve got me and you know
“I know.” His confusion only grew but he gave you a soft smile, intertwining your fingers. “And you’ll always have me as well.”
And I’ve got you and I know
~
But if the tide takes California
I’m so glad I got to hold ya
As days went by your sickness got worse and it was getting harder and harder to keep it from Gojo, passing off every coughing fit as a dry throat to which he’d lecture you about drinking enough water.
You spent every last minute with Gojo which he wasn’t complaining about but something wasn’t right but he wouldn’t pry until you were ready.
You stopped participating as much in missions and even sat on the side lines for training which was never like you but you ran out of breathe easily now and those would throw you into coughing fits that would end with you coughing up blood.
So to save yourself from that exhaustion you stopped.
Shoko was the only one that knew until Nanami saw you one day and immediately he knew. He watched you from afar for a moment taking in the time to notice how you guilty looked at Gojo. He went to you and confronted you about it immediately, leading into a slight argument.
Gojo was stood on the field, his hands in his pockets as he watched. You were angry or more so frustrated and nanami knew why. He said one simple sentence to you and you were immediately falling to the ground in tears as Nanami tried to comfort you.
As soon as Gojo saw you fall he was by your side before the tears could hit the ground. “Y/n what happened?” You just shook your head so he looked to Nanami for answers but he was already turned away and walking the other direction.
He wasn’t gonna be the one to tell Gojo.
And if the sky falls from heaven above
Oh I know I had the best time falling into love
You looked over at Gojo with utter adoration and love as he trained his students, joking with them here and there.
It was nice, peaceful. To see him not worry over you. You almost just let him be and went to walk away until Yuuji pointed you out and Gojo cut the class short.
You tried to smile but it never reached your eyes and fell before he could even return the smile himself. When he was finally in front of you, he softly brushed hair out of your face and looked you over.
“Y/n” you hummed in response but your heart started sinking when you saw his frown. “Please tell me what has been going on.”
We’ve been living on a faultline
And for awhile you were all mine
You knew you couldn’t hide it forever but some part of you hoped that if you didn’t tell him it wouldn’t be true and you could live with him forever and be happy.
But the look in his eyes told you, you had to tell him. You had to tell him everything.
“I suppose it’s time to talk isn’t it?” You laughed in sadness before you took his hand in yours and lead him to a bench.
I spent a life time giving you my heart
I swear that I’ll be yours forever till, forever falls apart
“Gojo,” you moved forward hesitantly almost asking if you could remove his blindfold which he leaned into your touch allowing you to finally see the eyes that you loved so much. The ones that were filled with concern now. You decided it would be better to just rip the bandaid off so with a sigh you continued, “I’m dying.”
Till forever falls apart
“What?”
~
So this is it?
That’s how it ends?
“Gojo I already told her there’s nothing I can do.” Shoko told him, moving around to collect the things Gojo had carelessly knocked over in his frustration.
He watched her silently until she was finally done, “why not?” She went to respond but he wasn’t done. “Why the hell not?! Why can’t you reverse it?! That’s your power why can’t you do anything?!”
Her eyes widened slightly, she wasn’t used to him yelling. “Gojo,” she started softly. “I can’t reverse it because it’s not cursed energy, it’s a sickness. And even if I could, she didn’t come to me until it progressed to far.”
He was silent, his mouth slightly agape as he registered her words. “I’m sorry Satoru. I really am.”
I guess theres nothing more romantic then dying with your friends.
Gojo was leaning against the doorframe, hands in his pockets as he watched you and his students. You had gotten close to them very easily, it was like they depended on you.
As he watched them smile brightly at you he wondered if they knew. But by the way you tried to reciprocate there smile to ease them he knew they didn’t.
How could you hold this from him? There should’ve been something he could’ve done.
No, that’s wrong. He knew it too. There was nothing he could to help you especially if Shoko could do nothing.
Almost as if you felt his eyes on you, you glanced towards him and gave him a soft smile. He completely melted for you and he always has.
He knew there may have been nothing he could do but he sure as hell wasn’t gonna let you live out your days with no hope.
And I’m not sorry, for myself.
The next few weeks Gojo had been quiet, keeping to himself and you thought it was your fault. And tonight like many other nights, You watched Gojo walk from room to room and for a moment you were worried he was avoiding you but when he came into the bedroom with a soft smile you knew you were wrong. This was different then the other nights.
“Ready?” In his arms were a few blankets that took him forever to find, he needed to find the right ones.
You titled your head to the side slightly, “for what?” He held his hand out for you and as always you took it. He helped you up and kept your hand in his.
“You’ll see.”
The silence would’ve been deafening had you not been with Gojo, his silence was always something you found comfort in.
He glanced at you to see if you were okay and for a moment he felt at peace, at peace that you even decided to spend your life with him to begin with. Then he remembered, you didn’t spend your life with him. You spent not even half your life with him. He wanted you to spend every day with him until you both were old. And suddenly that fleeting moment of peace was gone.
“Gojo?” He turned his head towards you, “where are we going?”
He looked out toward the path again and smiled, “we’re almost there.”
Gojo guided you through the paths for a few minutes more before he finally got to his destination and he turned to you again with the biggest smile, a smile that always made you smile. “Here.”
When you looked out at where you were suddenly it made sense and you turned back to him, “is this-?”
“Where I first admitted I loved you? Yes.” He dragged you along the path towards a little patch of grass where he laid out the blankets before he helped you sit down.
“Wow I’m surprised you remember this place.” You joked bumping his shoulder. He gave you a genuine laugh but as it died down a feeling of sadness filled it’s place.
“I always remember everything that involves you.” You looked at him in disbelief so he continued, “I know you don’t believe me but I do. You stuck by my side for everything and it was always very easy for me to lose people because I cared about myself more then I did for others. Then you came in and suddenly I couldn’t even remember why I thought I was the most important thing in this world.”
You watched him with a gaze filled with love, “you know I had a crush on you for the longest time? I remember seeing you and saying I wanted to know you. Then I did get to know you and I fell completely in love with you.” You were silent. “Gojo.”
“Hm?”
“I’m sorry I’m the one you fell for. That I’m the one who you finally opened up to.” He shook his head laughing at that
“I wouldn’t want to spend a minute loving anybody else.” You gave him a shaky smile and he was quick to wipe a tear from your cheek. “Don’t cry, please.”
He kissed your head and for once he didn’t remove his blindfold, just so you wouldn’t see the way his eyes glazed over.
Cause you’ve got me and you know
You both sat there for what felt like hours and if Gojo was honest he could have stayed there for hours to come but he could feel the way you were shivering next to him.
“We should get back.” He finally decided and when he turned to you he felt his heart break just a little more. You’re skin was pale, paler then it had been before. Or maybe it was always this pale he just refused to see it.
He stood up and grabbed your hand, helping you stand. As soon as you were up you had to grab onto his arms to keep you steady and after a deep breathe you stood up and gave him a soft smile. “I’m sorry, just light headed.”
And I’ve got you and I know
“Don’t apologize.” He told you and went to grab the blankets when he saw the way you gazed off. “Hey,” you didn’t look at him so he took your chin between his thumb and index finger and turned you to him. “You’ll fight this ok?”
“Gojo-“
“Trust me. You trust me don’t you?” You nodded and he held his hand up for a high five. “You will fight this.”
You laughed a little and went to return his high-five but right as your hand made contact with his your smile fell, and your knees buckled beneath you.
So if the tide takes California
I’m so glad I got to hold you
Gojos body reacted faster then his mind. One moment you were high-fiving him the next he was catching you before you hit the ground. “Y/n?” When he looked down at you his mind finally caught up.
“Stay with me please!” And he was zipping his way to a hospital, knowing Shoko couldn’t do anything the hospital was the next best thing. “You’ll be ok we’re almost there.”
You could only keep your eyes open enough to look at Gojo and the way the wind rushed through his hair. His hair, you loved his hair. You went to reach for it when a bright light stopped you. You almost thought you died right then but when you turned your head you saw the halls of a hospital and distinctly you could hear Gojo yelling at someone to help.
And if the sky falls from heaven above
Nurses and doctors were running to him the moment they saw him carrying you in his arms. They brought over a bed to have you laid down on but when they went to grab you he was hesitant.
When they were finally able to get you from his arms you kept your gaze on him and before they took you away you called out to him, “oh I know I had the best time falling into love.”
He felt his whole world falling apart before him, he found himself going over everything in his head. You were pale he should have paid more mind to that or the way you coughed he should’ve seen it sooner.
He stood resting against a wall, glaring down at the floor as his mind went through every possibility until he felt someone stand right next to him. “How is she?” Gojo turned to Nanami who was watching down the halls.
“Not good.” He replied before they fell back into silence. “Howd you know I was here?”
Nanami sighed, “I’ve been expecting it. I saw you on the way here.”
“I really was blind to it wasn’t I?” Nanami didn’t answer and Gojo was okay with that, it seemed to answer his question nonetheless.
We’ve been living on a fault line
And for awhile you were all mine.
They had been waiting for what felt like hours until finally a doctor came back to get him. “She’s awake now, you’re able to see her.”
When Gojo took a step Nanami stopped him, “give her my best will you? I’ll take care of your students.” Gojo nodded at him in thanks and then followed the doctor to your room.
The doctor stopped at your door and let him in. As soon as his eyes fell on you Gojo almost had to step right back out of the room to pretend this wasn’t real. But it was and you needed him.
You turned your head when you heard soft footsteps and smiled softly when your eyes landed on Gojo. “Hey.”
I’ve spent a life time giving you my heart
“How are you feeling?” You both knew you weren’t feeling great.
“I’m okay.” But you always wanted to reassure him and make sure he didn’t worry. But he was worried. He loved you, more then anything and now he was losing you.
Your life was literally just minutes away from being over and you both felt it and it terrified you. “Do you remember the first time I told you I liked you?” You asked him softly hoping to get a reaction from him but all he could do was give a short nod.
“I was in my last year of middle school just about to transfer to-to Jujutsu. I saw you walking and I-“ you got cut off by your own coughing and in a second he was by your side.
“You saw me leaving and your friends dared you to do it before we didn’t see each other for a few months.” He finished for you, making you drink the water the doctors gave you. “I ignored you at the time.”
He sounded regretful but you knew if he didn’t ignore you then he would never have fallen for you in the first place.
The room fell silent again after you took a few sips of water then pushed his hand away. “Can I see your eyes, please.” He was hesitant, but the pleading in your own outweighed his hesitation.
He pulled his blindfold down, trying to cover up the emotions he was feeling but when you smiled weakly at him he felt all the emotions flooding through him. “Do you remember what I said after you confessed to me?” You asked him but you didn’t wait for him to answer, “I swear that I’ll be yours forever.”
But you forgot what he said afterwords as a joke to lighten the intense mood he had put between you.
“Till forever falls apart”
“Don’t say that.” You frowned, machines starting to beep around you. “Gojo, I-I’m scared.”
He held your hand not even being able to give you a smile now. Instead he squeezed your hand and said the last words you wanted to hear, “I love you more then anything Y/N.”
Till forever falls apart
The next moment you smiled one last time and he felt your hand go limp in his. He almost went to call for help but hearing the deafening and unending beep he knew, he knew it was over.
He had lost you.
We never had it from the start
Till death do us part
Doctors and nurses flooded the room in an instant but still they were a second to late. So before they could push him out, he gave you one last kiss on your head and finally left.
The moment he stepped out of that hospital he felt as though he left a part of himself there and he wasn’t sure he would ever get it back. But for now he needed to be there for his students.
If the tide takes California
A year later Gojo found himself stood in front of your gravestone. Your name was written nicely across the top with the date of your birthday and the day you died.
He never let himself dwell on the memories of what he could have done. It was to late and he was done putting himself through the torture.
He turned from your grave and made his way back to where his students were waiting. Megumi seemed to be the only one to notice the slight shift in Gojos mood but decided not to speak on it.
Gojo walked behind his three students laughing as they joked and made fun of each other until he saw something pass by him in the corner of his eye, something familiar.
He felt like he was moving in slow motion as he found the person, no, as he found you again. You passed by him and were walking away from him. He couldn’t let you go, not again.
I’m so glad I got to know you
He walked towards you gently grabbing onto your wrist. You turned towards him quickly with shock written all over your face and for a second he thought you remembered him. “Y/n?” And then you spoke.
“Who?” He felt his heart break all over again. “I’m sorry do I know you?”
“No” he immediately let go of you and took a step back, “no I’m sorry- I-I’m sorry. You just look like someone I know.”
And if the sky falls from heaven above
I know I had the best time falling into love
You watched him take a step away from you and as you watched him, something felt familiar. You looked to who was waiting for him, the three students looked familiar as well.
“Gojo?” You asked yourself softly almost as if testing the name and suddenly you were stepping towards him as if allowing yourself to remember. “Wait! Gojo! I remember!”
Immediately Gojo turned right back around and stared at you to see if you were being honest and when he saw your smile he knew. He ran back to you, wrapping his arms around you as you did the same. “I-I don’t know how- I don’t know how I remember, I just did.”
“Shh it’s okay.” He reassured before he pulled away to cup your cheeks in his hands.
We’ve been living on a fault line
And for awhile you were all mine
He looked over you in amazement not once asking himself how or why you were here. You were supposed to be dead how are you here right in front of him?
I’ve spent a life time giving you my heart
All he knew was his heart was filled with relief and that’s all he needed. He leaned his head against yours, relishing in your warmth.
“I swear that I’ll be yours forever.” He whispered softly to you and you smiled in joy. But he forgot the most important part of that sentence.
Till forever falls apart

The next morning you were greeted with a hangover thanks to everything you consumed. Your head was pounding and your body felt gross. The faint memory of waking up next to Gojo popped in your head. “Damn I wish I woke up to him everyday.”
“Woke up next to who everyday?” Utahime asked as she was in the middle of brushing her hair, “You know Y/N I never imagined you to be such a lightweight, it was so hard to bring you back here without you rambling about such nonsense.”
“Huh? Wasn’t I sober when I went to go look for you?” The memory of you waking up and giving Gojo a kiss on the cheek before looking for Utahime popped in your head, you and sworn you woke up sober.
“Yeah, barely.” She sat down at the edge of your bed giving you a stern look “Do you know how many times I had to keep you from falling over? You almost fell down the stairs, twice. You’re lucky Gojo was upstairs, without him you wouldn’t have made it out alive.”
Huh, so he helped you after ignoring you and treating you like an outcast? What a bastard. “You know Y/N you should really be careful. Next time make sure you watch over your drinks.”
“What are you talking about? Did I do something wrong?”
“Well no.. it’s just that someone spiked your drink. If Nanami hadn’t taken care of you someone probably would’ve taken advantage of you so please for the love of god watch what you drink, for me?” you gave her a smile, she was worried about you and you were glad you had someone like her by your side, it’s not everyday you’re blessed with a good roommate like Utahime.
⋆ 💌 ⋆
The up coming week was the last week before spring break came around, which meant you only had two months before the deadline for the project came to an end, that same project where you had shitty partner that abandoned you.
As the morning came around you were able to wake up in a pretty good mood. Today was the last day before break and you were glad to be getting some rest. Unlike the other students on campus you weren’t able to go back home due to the money it costs to get a ticket. You weren’t financially stable during your high school years which led you into the mindset that since you weren’t able to afford the newest items everyone was getting that you didn’t deserve to socialize. You were that weird kid who sat in the back drowning yourself in music or getting lost in a good book. You will never forget the first time you had an interaction with Gojo.
You were seated at the very back of the class, eyes darting from left and right as the book you were indulged in sat in front of you. The loud noises of the students coming into first period had no effect in the way you enjoyed the book. You were getting to the climax of the story, getting so lost into the plot that you didn’t even notice him come in.
“Hey, whatcha reading?” The tall white haired boy slipped the book out of your hand to take a look at it. “No Longer Human, huh?”
You wanted to die, you hated how you got his attention, you didn’t want it, you didn’t want the kids in your class analyzing you too much. You didn’t want them to find out you were struggling with money, they’d treat you different. They already do.
“Mmm mind if I keep this?” he stuck his face in your personal bubble, his sunglasses at the edge of his nose, eyes piercing yours as he awaited your answer.
“Um.. yes, please give it back.” a small voice escaped your lips.
“Why? It’s just some book you can buy again, is it because someone special gave it to you?” he was teasing you, the book was in your face as he began to sway it from side to side, leaving it in your reach and taking it out.
“No I’m just not done with it.”
“Mmm, too bad. ‘m keeping it.” Your face dropped and you allowed him to take your belonging. You watched as he sat down in his seat flipping through the pages of the book that once belonged to you.
Your mother struggled to earn the money needed for the textbooks your school wanted you to obtain, you hated seeing your mom bend herself backwards. You’ve always offered to get a job to financially support her but your mother wouldn’t allow it. She wanted you to have a normal childhood. You never saw her much but due to the amount of jobs she took on but you knew the love she held for you was greater than the father that left you.
You and your father weren’t the absolute closest ever since he decided to leave but he still tried to have somewhat of a bond with you, he’d send you books and your mother would write back to him saying how much you loved reading them, the book Gojo had taken from you was the last book your dad had sent your before staring another family with another woman.
The last thing he’s ever left you now lies in the hands of a stranger. Of course it didn’t bother you as much as it should but you couldn’t help but long for the moment of having the book back in your hands.
It was a fresh new semester and your mother couldn’t afford the textbooks that you needed. You knew that you had to drop out and attend a much cheaper school.
You awaited the day you’d talk to your councilor along with your head teacher, during that day you wished you could get that damn book back, it was just a book but part of you saw it as something more because it was gifted to you from your dad.
“Hello, good after noon Ms. Kalaber, Mr. Henderson.” you walked into the office and took a seat in one of the vacant chairs.
“Hello Y/N, are you hear to talk about your transfer?”
“Yes, I’m sorry to do so. I really enjoy coming here but it’s been hard on my mother and I to financially keep up and I think it’d be better for us if we made a switch.”
“Yes of course I understand..” The three of you spent the next few minutes talking about schools that would accept you in open arms, the meeting ended up earlier than expected and you were on your way out but a certain somebody bumped into you causing the transfer papers along with school recommendations to slip from your hands.
Your second interaction with him.
“Oh shit, I’m sorry I didn’t see you there.” Of course you couldn’t you’re 6′4. He crouched down helping you collect that papers, slowly noticing what the papers were. “Hey, you’re transferring?”
“Yeah.”
“Oh.. why?” you stayed silent and began dusting off the papers from any dirt since they did fall on a school floor. “Ah, never mind you don’t have to answer that. Well see you, I guess?”
You and Gojo parted ways.
The next morning would be your last at the high school you spent almost four years at. Your heart felt heavy knowing no one would realize you left, after all you were just one of the kids that no one really paid any attention to.
In the middle of your first period you were summoned to the office, your mother was seated in the chair you sat in the pervious day. “Y/N, good morning. We have some news!” Long story short someone paid off the expenses for your textbooks and any financial contract you were under while attending the school.
You didn’t really care. It’s not like you were thrilled to stay, you weren’t exactly thrilled to attend a brand school either. You just accepted whatever was given to you. Even if you wanted to know who suddenly paid off the financial fees you couldn’t since they decided to remain anonymous. You were grateful however you couldn’t help but feel as if they looked down on you. Although their intentions were very different from what you thought.
Your senior year flashed before your eyes, the amount of days left before graduation were alarming to you, you knew what college you were going to, you applied for a scholarship and with the grades you had you were able to easily get it. After all you didn’t have any friends to hang out with so you mostly studied instead of getting yourself caught in things you knew weren’t good for you.
You’ve only had two encounters with the guy who stole your book, and yet you were hoping to see him again. To get the book back of course.
During the going away party for all the seniors a tall figure waited for you to show in hopes that he’d be able to return what was once yours. He wanted a chance to talk to you again. He wanted the message he left inside one of the pages to reach you, but it never did since you believed no one wanted you there.
You imprinted in your mind that everyone would judge you for having money struggles, you gave yourself the thought that they’d judge you for the kind of clothes you wore, or the kind of person you were.
You failed to realize that your first friend was never Utahime, but the boy who sought for your arrival
⋆ 💌 ⋆
During the last Friday of your first semester you had decided to be productive, you were in a great mood. You started the day off by going to the cafe to read a bit, you were reading a book that Nanami had recommended to you.
The two of you had slowly gotten closer over a short period of time, you were glad to have someone timid and reasonable by your side. He was also reliable. Unlike stupid Satoru Gojo.
Before class started you got yourself along with Nanami a cup of coffee,  “This is what you like right?” He pulled his glasses down to sit at the tip of his nose. “What, is this not what you get?”
“No it is, thank you Y/N.” His hand reached out to grab the cup of black coffee in your hand, his fingertips brushed against yours, so warm. “I just didn’t expect you to get me one is all.”
“Mhm, why not? Didn’t I tell you that I owed you? I owe you even more after what you did at that stupid party.”
“Ah, that.” you watched as he took a sip of his coffee, “It’s nothing, I’d rather not let a girl like you be used.”
A girl like you, What the hell is that supposed to mean. “What do you mean a girl like me? You couldn’t help but think negatively about what he said, would it have been better to not make friends and remain the quiet kid whose face was always buried in a book?
“Relax, I didn’t mean it like that. You’re a sweet girl is all, you shouldn’t have to go through anything more than what you’ve already gone through.”
“Like you know what I’ve gone through.”
“I know more than you think.”
“Shut up you sick asshole, who even drinks black coffee?”
“What does my coffee have to do with trauma?”
“Shut up Nanamin.”
Nanami smiled into his cup before taking a sip. “You’re a lot like him..” he whispered.
“Huh? What did you say?”
“Nothing.”
“’nami tell me.”
“Enough with the nicknames.”
“’nami.”
⋆ 💌 ⋆
The day was almost over, as you were exciting the main building you caught a glimpse of all the people leaving campus. “Must be nice to go home to your family..” you sighed and followed the staircase the led to the exit closest to your dorm
“What are you doing? Why are you making this so complicated?” Oh man a fight, this’ll be awkward. You prepared to take another step down the stairs until a very familiar voice spoke out.
“I don’t have a choice.” you stopped your tracks as the familiar voice rung through your ears, you wanted more than anything to leave but your body wouldn’t move.
“Bullshit. You did the same thing to me and Suguru.” another familiar voice rung in your ear, it was Utahime. “You can’t keep doing this Gojo.”
“I know but it’s just a little while longer and th-”
“She really is right you know, you really are a stupid Satoru.”
You didn’t mean to eavesdrop, you swore you were gonna leave as soon as your body was able to move but the next few things you heard made you freeze. If it was quiet enough you’d be able to hear the sound of your heart beating, you head felt light and your body felt limp but you knew that you had to get out of there.
You knew this wasn’t something you were supposed to know.

A light in the dark
Kento nanami x reader Angst
Spoilers if you squint
Part of collaboration with @suna-reversed
One light shines in the drive
One single sign that our house is alive
Our house, our own
So why do I live there alone?
His life was a pattern that he followed all too well. Going to work , grabbing his lunch , working again , and going to sleep. Everything he did was mundane and uninteresting. He didn’t care about what type of work he did as long as it paid well. Waking up everyday and dragging himself up with heavy feet.
He was a shell of his old self, merely a ghost who wanders around waiting for death to approach. He asked himself why he’s even trying over and over. The answer was the same, “because I am yet to die”.
Nothing chipped away at his life force like returning to an empty home day by day. Pieces of him crumbled and disappeared, just like his will to live. His body moved robotically as he went inside. Taking off his shoes , his suits , jumping in the shower , having dinner , and going to sleep. The cycle never ended.
Tell me why I wait through the night
Why do I leave on the light?
You know, I know
Our house was a home long ago
It feels like yesterday, yet centuries ago. Another curse showed itself and people were in danger. What makes that the fourth this week ? The higher ups didn't care or do anything about the increases in grade 2 and higher curses besides giving orders and punishments in the shadows.
Swiftly calculating the ratio and defeating the smaller curses was an easy feat, and the grade 1 curse has yet to show itself. Walking deeper into the abandoned mental asylum he vowed in his head. He will leave jujutsu tech and it’s teaching behind once he graduates. Everything about being a shaman was a joke.
Feeling a powerful presence behind him, he took his weapon out and was prepared to strike. The disfigured curse held something, or someone to be accurate in one hand. It dangled what appeared to be a girl in her uniform in front of him mockingly.
The vein in his forehead was ready to burst open. He didn’t need an added complication in his way. The curse was prepared to swallow the girl, but he was faster. Cutting off its tentacle for an arm was an easy feat, exorcising it while avoiding the civilian was anything but that.
As he was about to finish up, he heard a scream. If she has energy to scream this loud, then she’s not hurt. The curse was startled by the loud noise and attacking the girl giving him a chance to strike the finishing blow.
“How did you do that ?”
A shaky question reached his ears. He felt himself straighten in interest, is she able to see them as well ?
Take this chance 'cause it may be our last
To be free, to let go of the past
And to try to be husband and wife
To let love never die or to just live our life
“Are you sure it’s not too expensive? I know it’s close to my university but I feel like it costs too much !”
Looking at the source of the voice, his lips tugged up slightly as he fought a smile. The rent is on the higher side in this area, but he won’t let it get in their way. It took them half a year to find this place and who knows when they’ll find a good one like it again.
“Working hard should solve this issue”
His stoic response made her pout, he chuckled and grabbed her close to him. As their lips connected, her arms wrapped around him so lovingly. Their body heat increases, as he kisses her harder. Just when he felt himself about to lose control, he pulled away panting.
“I don’t want to postpone it anymore, don’t you want to live together ?”
Her beautiful eyes sparkled at him at the thought, the blush from their kiss still adored her face. He tried to get himself away from her embrace, looking into her eyes so full of love makes him lose himself in them. He was happy.
Take this chance 'cause it may be our last
To be free, to let go of the past
And to try to be husband and wife
To let love never die or to just live our life
“Please Nanami ! It’s too much and eating at your health”
Her pleading voice irritated him, can’t she see he’s doing this for them ? How else would he be able to afford living in such a place while she studies ?
“Do you have any suggestions that won’t put us in the street ?”
His harsh tone made her flinch. as soon as the tears gathered in her eyes, he raised his hand. “It seams you still have some maturing to do. If you think you can go on acting like this, I’ll have to say you’re an idiot”
“But you love me the way I am, right ?”
The stern look he gave her made the heavy lump in her throat burn even more. She wants to work and help, yet he refuses. Moving might be a hassle, but it’s better than him working himself to the bones. He disagrees on that too.
“Why are we even together then ?”
Her question was full of anguished and it shocked him. Her face was full of tears as she ran off. Few seconds after he watched her leave the door, he came to his senses. However, he was a few seconds too late.
Take my hand and let me take your heart
Keep it far from what keeps us apart
Let us start with a light in the dark
The scream of his student as the domain shattered woke him from his daze. Looking in shock at him as he landed smoothly. The patches face curse face turned into horror. Yes, the proud and conceited king of curses won’t forgive an insult like that.
His fist clenched so hard it drew blood. Proud and condescending ? Isn’t that exactly what he was when he drove her away ? Refusing to change places or accept her help was his downfall.
The anger and self hatred surfaced. Observing the bleeding curse in front of him, his rage exploded. He knew it was his fault, but he denied. Living everyday waiting for her to return or for death to take him first, before gojo approached him.
His kicks and punches landed hard on his target, everything he saved in the depth of him decided to come out at once. He can’t let that curse live, he can’t handle losing another bright soul.
The image of her looking back to him as she was about to leave flashed. Another wave of emotion swept over him. All of those memories were like an oil to the fire inside him. Why didn’t he stop her when she looked back ?
Night falls, I stare at the walls I stare at these walls
I wake and wander the halls
I get lost in these halls And I ache to the bone
It's like nothing I've known
I can't get through this alone I can't get through this alone
The shining stone was brightnest than anything he had seen. The second brightest after his beloved eyes of course. It glistened even more on her finger. Those doe like eyes looking at the shine and smiling every time took his breath away.
“It’s a cheap replica, do you like it that much ?”
He asked with an eyebrow raised. It was a colored glass stone and barely worth much. Why is she so happy with it when she deserves diamonds ?
“It reminds me of your eyes ! It gives me a warm feeling, like you’re always by my side as long as I’m wearing it”
