three weeks left in the semester and neither of my major papers ive submitted for english have been graded. this functionally means i have no idea what my grade actually is in this class, and also that i have received extremely limited feedback in my longer writing assignments, and i have no idea what i need to improve in my final one so i can make sure whatever fucking grade i end up with is a good one !!!!

school schedule fuckery update: they managed to put me in ap psych again even though i took it last year, also im in ap lang which i dont want to take, also im going to be an office aide second semester apparently?? more than half of my classes currently are things i did not sign up for. if they dont switch me to ap lit instead of ap lang im going to kill a man

don’t worry! i will answers asks tos related or not tos related, I’ll seriously take either to make my followers happy :) besides i love talking to you guys it gives me life ngl
yes well, I, for one, can’t write for shit, I’m seriously not kidding you. Despite writing fanfiction for multiple things, I still am an awful writer. My teacher literally sat on her computer all day and just gave us work while she shopped, no joke.
I bs’d all my essays and I take AP Literature today and BS it. I ended up getting a 3 on it lol which my mom was kind of mad about but I got a 4 on the APUSH, so that was slight compensation? This year I’m taking AP Chem, AP Lit, and AP Calc (not fun, don’t recommend 10/10)
the main survival tips for AP Lang are under the cut!
- TAKE TIME TO PLAN UR ESSAYS IT SEEMS LIKE A WASTE, but isn’t!! even something like
introduction
paragraph 1 - alliteration (the repatitive use of ‘k’ and ‘cr’ in ___ evokes a rough tone and makes the audience feel unsafe or something; the use of s creates a sneaky sound that makes the audience feels caution)
p2 - imagery (the deep description of the smells makes the audience feel safe, the description of the ‘pretty’ and ‘delicate’ girl characterizes as weak)
p3 - polysyndeton (use of ‘and’ in a long list stretches the time and legnths the narrative pacing)
conclusion
generally speaking i either do: strongest example (1st), second strongest (2nd), weakest (3rd) or the other way. you can use abbreivations and stuff bc nobody will look at ur planning page
- study your rhetorical devices and try to know as many as possible
- try to know synonyms for easy words ‘big,’ ‘small,’ ‘use.” it’s a life saver and will make you sound more mature
- know transition words like ‘for example,’ ‘moreover,’ ‘however’
- SUPPORT THE HECK OUT OF EVERYTHINg use direct quotes if it’s a passage you’re analyzing and analyze the hell out of it all - I’m still awful at that but the more support you have = THE BETTER. it is literally so hard to try to find meaning out of like 5 words so i feel you but itll help you get that push
like 
that class was hell, mostly because of the teacher that didn’t teach; I seriously didn’t learn anything but a bunch of rhetorical devices and kept getting like 40′s on the multiple choice practices (im typically an A student) so like it’s okay dude
