that tweet that’s like every part of you/habit you have is just little pieces of the people who have come into your life is so yuuta and his copycat behavior in noncurse au is just him stealing your stuff. he starts using the same shampoo as you after you let him borrow yours once. in a tired stumble in the morning he’s dragging your house slippers into the kitchen and doesn’t even realize they’re many sizes too small and his heels are on the floor until after he’s had his coffee and you point it out to him, and the very next day he comes over he’s got the same pair you do, just in blue, and he tucks them neatly next to yours after he showers. megumi compliments the candle yuuta has burning in his apartment when he visits and yuuta hums, thanking him and mentioning that you have the same one. you ask him if he has an chapstick after you’ve finished your lunch and you’re surprised when he hands you a tiny tube identical to your favorite brand and flavor, because it’s now his favorite brand and flavor. it gets to a point where the contents of his apartment, his bag, his life exactly mirror yours because to him that’s love
#something something being one undistinguisable being is also love#this is where he’s equal but opposite from gojo bc gojo starts buying things he likes For you#and also leaving his things around for you to use and start to like and hopefully steak#*steal lol#i think yuuta tries to steal your things too and if you call him out he just gives you the bambi boy eyes and is like won’t u share with me#whatever. We're just friends I swear
"you can't expect me to believe that sayaka, you both are so obvious" maki rolls her eyes completely unbelieving of what the other girl is saying.
"i'm serious maki, we aren't together. i don't know why everybody seems to think that we are" sayaka sighs crossing her arms over her chest.
"because of the way you act around each other, it's so apparent in your actions, i don't know how you don't see it" maki tries not to laugh at how clueless her friend can be sometimes.
"but how? i haven't been treating him any differently than i treat you guys." her response makes maki laugh out loud in disbelief that she thinks that.
"HA! you can't possibly think that's true. example: you always save him a seat next to you at lunch, you always have tea ready for him after every mission, you defend him from anyone talking bad about him even when he can defend himself, you always bring him a scarf when its cold because you know he'll forget to bring his own, you always wait up for him to get back from a mission, you're always the first one to check him for injuries, you-" sayaka's cheeks steadily grow redder as maki keeps listing things she does for toge.
"okay okay i get it you can stop-" she frantically tries to get the other to stop.
"and don't even get me started on all the things he does for you too, augh you guys are so sickeningly sweet it disgusts me." sticking out her tongue as she says this sayaka balking at her words.
"yukari tsuna mayo?" the sudden appearance of toge makes sayaka freeze, unable to look at him.
"hey there inumaki, we were just talking about how saya-" maki starts with a smirk only to be cut off by sayaka who's trying to play off the whole thing.
"is hungry and ready for lunch! are you ready toge? i don't want yuuta to steal our spot again" toge raises his eyebrows confused by sayaka's flustered demeanor.
"mm shake, tsuna mayo gohan furikake" he easily aggrees, blinking cutely, at least in sayaka's opinion.
"okay cool! bye maki!" sayaka grabs toge's wrist and drags him away from their highly amused friend.
"have fun on your not date sayaka!" maki calls out to their disappearing forms, causing sayaka to move faster.
#inumaki toge#inumaki x oc#sayaka#togoldlilya#to: sayaka#lapslock intended#collage by me#my loves#maki and saya are besties#maki loves to tease saya#its cute how flustered saya gets from it#maki just wants them to confess already#all the second years are over their obvious pining#its kinda painful to watch them deny it honestly#they literally act like a married couple how do they not see it???#once their together though they are so insufferable#literally glued at the hip#always together#theyre so cute :((#besties 4lyfe

Home Again || Okkotsu Yuuta
WC: 644
Drabble/Fluff/Yuuta is facing an angry partner after a long mission.
"Did I wake you up?"
Standing in the kitchen, Yuuta's holding a glass of juice you bought this noon. Instead of jumping right onto him, you freeze. Is it really him? He's been away for days and leave you without a single text, which was quite unusual.
"Should I get you a drink, or...?"
Now he's right in front of you. Tilting his head, as you're still processing his sudden existence in your shared apartment. Your gaze's noticing the dark circle under his eyes are getting bigger and darker, his cheekbones becomes more visible than before. Did he eat right? Sleep well, too?
Yuuta stares at you while slowly drinking, hums in approval as the pure mango extract going down his throat.
"Is this new product? This one's good..."
Damn. How could he do this to you? Leaving you alone with endless thoughts of him being killed by cursed-spirit? You have at least 356 scenarios of how he could die in a mission. Now he's here. Sneaking in the middle of the night, apparently using a spare key. Talking innocently as if he just back from 9-5 job. Your chest start to thump louder and gazillions words are waiting to explode.
"Um... Baby?"
You snaps.
"HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU TO LEAVE FOR DAYS AND JUST COMING BACK SO CASUALLY?" Yuuta flinches at your reaction, trying to find the right words under your burning glare, "W-well, it was so sudden..."
Half-stomping, you walk closer towards your boyfriend, uttering every word with a threatening tone, "Okkotsu. It only takes one text. One Fucking. Line. Text. To tell me you're away and STILL alive."
Calling him by his last name. A cue for him not to retort. Especially, when your face is this close. He'd never know if you decide to punch or stab him in the heart.
"Uhh babe, please understand. It was a really—" Leaving his words hanging, he spots tears are piling up in the corner of your eyes.
A lump of guilt clogging his throat. He realizes he's wrong; the way he made you feeling uneasy being left with uncertainty, spending every seconds in confusion and worst probabilities.
Regret creeps in to his heart. Trying to wipe out the tears, he brings his hand to your face and his thumb moves along the spot where your upper and lower eyelids meet. "Babe, I'm sorry... "
Stealing a moment when he's unguarded, you quickly grab his caressing arm, burrying your teeth on his wrist.
"Hey, that hurts!" Pulling his arm in reflex, he tries to ease the stingy sensation by rubbing the area you bit. Lifting his head, he find you with your reddened face, looking at another direction while gritting your teeth in your effort to not cry.
Ah, how can't he understand yet?
"I... I know you're mad at me. I'm truly sorry for never think about you enough." He lowly murmurs, carefully intertwining his fingers with yours. Feeling no rejection, his one arm wrapping around your waist while the other one softly push your head to his chest.
His scent immediately filling up your nose, miraculously calming and erasing the irritated feeling you felt just a moment ago. You can't stay mad at him. You miss him too much.
"You're such a shitty boyfriend." Muttering, you hug him back and get get chuckle as response. "But you love me, don't you?" Touching you by your chin and make you look up to him, Yuuta kisses you forehead. His heart's fully adoring this stubborn person that holds his heart. His fingers are tracing down your cheek to your jawline with a soft smile.
"I'm home, baby. " Yuta lands a gentle kiss on your lips. A kiss that make you drunk and makes you forget every thing around you. His heartbeat feels like a love song as he tighten his arms around you.
You are home.

"Sensei said girls love swans." | Okkotsu Yuuta x fem!reader
♡ ♡ ♡ description: Just a small box of chocolates, bought on a whim, gifted for no apparent reason. Or so you say.
♡ ♡ ♡ warnings: none, good bad advices from Gojo.
♡ ♡ ♡ notes: I'm working on three other stories with Nanami, Gojo and Toji but had to write something for best boy Yuuta. We're getting volume 0 animated! This was done at the speed of light so please forgive any errors.
♡ ♡ ♡ word count: 2.29 k
Valentine’s Day was quite a surprise this year. You didn’t expect the world to just revert back to old habits so soon, but then again you understood the craving for what was once considered normal. More than a year had passed since the Shibuya incident and with Gojo Satoru finally being released from his prison, things were slowly calming down.
Two major changes came as a result of the near annihilation of Tokyo, one was that now the world was aware of the existence of curses and two was the high number of people that had awoken cursed energy. What were once empty classrooms and training grounds of the Jujutsu Tokyo High School, were now filled with first year students ready to learn from the best. Although the older generation was composed of just a handful of students, they were really the top of the Jujutsu world.
All of your senpais were impressive in their own right so all of them had gathered quite a following of first years. The most popular, by far, was Fushiguro Megumi, the one that possessed the Ten Shadows Technique of the Zen’in clan. A lethal combination of looks, power and status, or so your classmates claimed.
On the opposite end of the spectrum was the third year Okkotsu Yuuta. He was a rare sight on campus and whenever he was present he didn’t interact much with any of the first years. The first time you’ve met him was during a group mission where he was there to supervise. The curse ended up being a special grade and if Yuuta hadn’t jumped in to help you, you’d all be dead. You still remember the bitterness of your classmates when he offered his feedback. Clearly he was right on all points but he didn’t honey glazed any of his words. That incident had caused a string of nasty rumours to spread and everyone in your class began to avoid him as much as possible. You guessed no one was in a hurry to offer him any gifts today.
As for yourself, you tagged along with some of the girls from your class as they chose the best chocolates for their favourite senpais. You didn’t have anyone you really wanted to gift them to, so you bought a small box purely for selfish reasons.
You headed back to campus and as you approached the training grounds you noticed that a small crowd of students were already gathered there. In the middle of them stood Megumi whose arms could barely hold the large number of gifts he had received. The deadpan expression on his face made it clear he wasn’t enjoying the attention.
“You girls better hurry, Megumi-kun looks like he has reached his limit.”
Turning around you were greeted by Gojo who was also carrying quite an impressive quantity of Valentine’s gifts.
“Sensei is really popular.”
“Please don’t sound so surprised.”
As your little conversation went on, your friends quickly abandoned you in order to join the crowd.
“Not gonna join them?” You shook your head as your hands tighten on the handle of your backpack where your box of chocolates was hiding.
“I didn’t buy any chocolates...I mean I did buy chocolates just not for...I should probably head to class.” Feeling too ashamed to admit your selfish purchase, you hurried down the path to the main entrance before Gojo could question you further.
Just as you were about to reach your destination you suddenly noticed a figure not too far from you. Yuuta was strolling along the same path and his expression was not a happy one. Your earlier guess must have been correct judging by his slumped shoulders. Now you never truly worried yourself with his well being, but it just felt so incredibly unfair that he was marginalized like this. At the end of the day, even if he wasn’t easy to talk to, he was a responsible senpai who wouldn’t hesitate to jump in to help others when needed. With that thought in mind, you quickened your pace and called out to him.
“Okkotsu-senpai! Okkotsu-senpai, please wait!”
He stopped in his track and turned to look at you with a surprised expression.
“Y/n-chan, are you okay?”
You nodded as you caught up with him, impressed that he even bothered to remember your name, and opened your backpack to retrieve the box of chocolates.
“For you senpai, Happy Valentine’s Day!” You gave him the most sincere smile you could muster and handed him the small box. Oh well, better for your cavities you suppose.
With a trembling hand he took the small gift and grinned from ear to ear. “Thank you! I’ll treasure it!” It was just a box of cheap chocolates, you thought, definitely not worth the excitement.
“Urm I’m happy you like them. Anyway, have a good day, see you around!” You practically dashed to your classroom, cheeks red from embarrassment. You didn’t know why you were so nervous or why that silly grin of his made you so flustered.
As you sat down at your desk, you wondered if you did the right thing. You didn’t want him to believe you had feelings for him and you also hoped he didn’t think you did it out of pity. You just thought it was the right thing to do at that time and it was just a small gesture, definitely not worth a second thought.
Or so you hoped until White Day arrived and you found quite a surprising gift on your desk that morning. A large bouquet of roses, there must have been over a hundred. No note though, as if the person that had left them just expected for you to know whom they were from.
You could hear the whispers of your classmates and you shifted uncomfortably. You weren’t really popular, no reasons for someone to give you such an impressive present, so of course rumours began to spread.
As you sat on a bench during lunch break with the bouquet in your lap, you raked up your brain trying to figure out who would offer you flowers.
“Oh no, you don’t like them!”
Yuuta’s voice brought you back to reality and you blinked ever so slowly as you looked at his worried expression. Your eyes dropped to the red roses in your lap and then back to your senpai that was just a few feet away from the bench you were sitting.
“These...these are from you?” Well you did gift him that box of chocolates and this was White Day, technically he was supposed to return the gift. Still, a cheap box of bonbons couldn’t compare to the expensive bouquet that he had gifted back.
“Gojo-sensei said you’re supposed to buy something impressive in order to show your appreciation for the gift you received. I didn’t know what you liked and he suggested roses, he said all girls loved red roses.”
Of course it was Gojo Satoru, it was always Gojo Satoru.
“Senpai, thank you, but this is too much! Those chocolates weren’t really that expensive.”
“No, no, they were pretty good! I ended up eating the whole box! Gojo-sensei tried to steal one away, that didn’t end up well for him.” Good, you thought, he deserved it for unnecessarily complicating things.
“Well if you say so, then I’m happy. I’ve never received flowers before, well my father bought me a bouquet when I graduated middle school but I don’t think that counts.”
“I’ve never received chocolates before, so I guess we’re both at the beginning.” The beginning of what, you wondered, as he offered you a somewhat sly smile.
“I should get these to my room before they wither.”
“Yeah I should probably head to the training ground.” You said your respective farewells before going in opposite directions. This had been awkward to say the least and you were glad it was over.
However, naivety got the best of you. The next morning you were greeted by a large teddy bear that was placed in your seat. Your eyebrow began to twitch as you heard whispers spreading in the classroom.
“Hey is that from Okkotsu? Super creepy!”
“Yeah, poor Y/n-chan.”
“What do you mean by that?” Your patience had reached its limit and with narrowed eyes you turned to look at the girls you heard whispering.
“Don’t you know, Okkotsu curses his lovers!”
“Yeah, he becomes obsessed with them and then they die in mysterious ways!”
“That is literally the most idiotic thing I’ve heard in my life.” Sure, you knew the story of Rika, but from actual reliable sources you also knew that it was a tragic accident that happened when Yuuta was only a child. It was disturbing how they twisted the story just because they were afraid of him.
“If you have this much time to waste on spreading such stupid rumours then I suggest you channel that energy in training. Otherwise you’ll be stuck at grade 4 until the end of days.” As a grade 2 sorcerer yourself, maybe you shouldn’t have looked down on them, but for some reason the way they were acting towards Yuuta was just infuriating and you found yourself becoming quite protective.
You never snapped at them like this before, if anything you were considered quite docile, so the whole class fell silent. You grabbed the giant teddy bear from your seat and stomped towards the door, nearly bumping into Gojo as the later stepped inside the room.
“Where you going Y/n-chan? Class is about the start.”
“I’m going to find Yuuta!” You huffed and walked out of the classroom, knowing full well that you will probably get punished for your actions.
“Y/n-chan is so determined! Everyone, you should have more determination as well!” That was the last thing you heard as Gojo closed the door behind you.
You began your search for Yuuta, trying to ignore the looks that the faculty members you came across were giving you. You must have looked quite ridiculous, carrying that large teddy bear around.
You finally found him near the armoury, and judging from his sweaty appearance you guessed he had just finished training.
“Senpai!”
He looked at you, almost in a panicked way and you quickened your pace so he couldn’t make a run for it.
“Y/n-chan, what-”
“Senpai, this has to stop.” You really didn’t want to tell him your real motives from that day but you also couldn’t let this chain of gifts continue.
“That box of chocolates wasn’t initially for you. I bought it for myself, I only gave it to you because senpai looked so upset. I’m sorry that you misunderstood, it’s not pity or anything, I just thought you deserved it.” You didn’t even stop to breath, you had to let it all out and explain before you lost your nerve. “I’m really happy you liked them but I don’t deserve all these presents in return.”
You looked at him and expected to see anger or disappointment, instead you were greeted with light laughter.
“You’re really cute! Maki-san said not to tease you too much because you’re such a good girl. I guess she didn’t realize how much of a good girl you actually are.” The way he said ‘good girl’ made your heart skip a beat. It sounded almost provocative.
Within a second, he had closed the distance between the two of you and his hand reached to stroke your cheek ever so gentle. Suddenly he was there and you became hyperaware of his powerful presence. You noticed the pretty colour of his eyes, how his hand was just a bit rough and how that small smirk of his made your knees weak and your cheeks burn. You gulped and he seemed to enjoy your reaction.
“I don’t mind that the box of chocolates wasn’t for me. I’m just glad it gave me the opportunity to talk to you.” At this point you felt so bad you hoped the earth beneath you would just crack open and swallow you whole.
“Anyway, you should probably head to class before Gojo-sensei gets upset. Let me get that for you.” He reached for the teddy bear in your arms but you gripped it and pulled back.
“I would like to keep this, it’s a special gift from senpai and I’ll treasure it.” Sure this all began because of a silly box of chocolates but you were also happy that you finally got to see a glimpse of him that not many people got the chance to see. Now that you had a taste of it, you wanted more.
“Well I wasn’t planning on taking it away, just wanted to help you carry it.”
“It’s fine, the whole school saw me already so I might as well parade with it back to class.”
He studied your face for a few moments before his expression turned serious.
“Y/n-chan, do you think we could go-”
“I’d love to go on a date!”
You beat him to it but you wanted to make sure he knew, even before asking, that you really wanted to get to know him better.
“I see, I’m really happy.” His hand reached for yours and gripped it gently. It never failed to surprise you how cool and confident he looked at times and then he did a one hundred eighty and turned into this awkward and adorable mess.
“I must admit this is the first time I’ve asked someone out. I’ll be sure to ask Gojo-sensei-”
“Oh no, please promise me to never ask Gojo-sensei for advice concerning girls.” He was probably laughing like a mad man while giving Yuuta such cringe worthy ideas for your gifts.
“Oh but sensei said girls love swans and-”
“Never!”

I remember a long time ago you said you wrote about darling meeting the child version of the yan boys, are you going to post that?, pls don't make it sad, I just want to give them some hugs.
Oooh let’s play with this a little bit I have some childhood friend au stuff in my drafts that I might finish that touch on more child versions of the yan boys but for now have this
Decided to do my two favorite families
Warning this contains: sprinkles of sadness
“I will explain the rules one more time, you get to go back to meet them, no one else but them can see you so you’ll be stealing the role as their imaginary friend that way they won’t freak out when they see you~ try not to mess around with things back there too much okay?”
You listened to the demon speaking and a nervous feeling bubbles over you, you were absolutely curious and slightly scared.
“Whose past do you want to visit”
You took a deep breath, closed your eyes and chose…
Hikaru:
You looked around, was this a beach? There wasn’t really anyone else there but you soon heard a loud laughing that made you perk up. “Seashells seashells shiny pretty seashells~” you heard happy singing nod followed it seeing a little child putting seashells in a bucket.
“What are you doing there?” You asked softly as you kneeled down, Hikaru looked up at you with a curious gaze before a bright smile appeared on his face and he went back to looking for seashells.
“I’m looking for seashells cause I’m making a seashell necklace!” He cheered out with a happy little humming. “A seashell necklace? Why?” You asked out making him huff “you’re so silly! It’s so I can lure a mermaid and marry her!” He said proudly.
His statement made you laugh as you reached out and poked his chubby cheek “why do you want a mermaid bride huh? What about me? Do I make a pretty bride?” You asked jokingly. He looked at you with a hum before reading into the bucket and seashells, now taking out a shiny one before handing it to you.
“You would make a pretty bride! But you’re not a mermaid..mama said that mermaids have pretty voices! I wanna sing with one!” He cheered out with a grin.
“Hikaru, come on we’re leaving!” A distant voice called for him making him jolt before he started to run off now hugging the bucket close. He stopped before looking back at you “if I can’t find a mermaid I’ll just marry you so don’t get old and gross!” He called out before waving and rushing away.
Yuuji and Yuuta:
You opened your eyes, now sitting on a bed seeing two kids sitting on the floor…why were they in this room alone?
“Yumi and yachi! You aren’t getting what you want by starving yourselves now open this door!” You heard kenji’s voice now moving to the floor with the two boys. “Why are you two doing this?” You asked out and they looked at you before an expression of familiarity covered their faces.
“Papa is being a meanie and doesn’t wanna call us by our new names” Yuuta hissed out. “We won’t leave til we get what we want!” Yuuji snapped out. “Oh? How long has it been?” You asked curiously.
“Two days..” Yuuta said with a whimper “y-Yuuji, d-do you think mommy misses us?” He asked softly with a pouty expression. Yuuta gulped “o-of course! She has to!” He chimed out, you didn’t realize just how hard the boys had to work to get the acceptance they deserved.
“B-but mommy is having the baby s-soon so what if she replaces us c-cause we are bad kids?!” Yuuta said before starting to cry. Yuuji hugged him close “s-she w-wouldn’t do that! She loves us!” Yuuji said firmly.
You reached out pulling both boys in for a tight hug, a shaky sigh escaping you “your parents must really miss you, maybe you should tell them how you feel” you said softly.
“We should tell him how we feel!” Yuuji chimed out with a grin
“Papa..?” Yuuta called out, hearing shuffling “yeah?” Kenji said softly with a soft sniffle..was he crying?
“Me and Yuuji don’t wanna be girls anymore, can we be boys instead..please?” He said softly.
There was a few moments of silence before a soft chuckle escaped kenji “Yuuta..Yuuji, please come out and eat, momma and papa misses their boys”
You watched at Yuuji rushed to the door opening it seeing Kenji was sitting on the ground outside the door. The two nearly tackled the male hugging him tightly.
Kenji hugged them tightly peppering kisses all over their faces “god I was so damn worried, don’t worry me like that..I’m getting old yknow don’t scare your papa like that” he said softly.
Seeing this made you really curious..is this why the twins defended and protected their father so much? You had a lot of questions.
Mateo:
The sounds of loud cheering made you flinch, the sight of kids swimming made you focus. You saw mateo, he was winning. Before you could process your mind you found yourself yelling “you got this baby!” You cheered out before realizing the situation you were in. You were so used to cheering for him during his games that it came natural.
You noticed mateo slowed down, the adrenaline stopping for just a moment before he kept going but it was too late, he ended up getting second place. The sight of him being upset as he stared at the medal, tears blurring his vision.
“You shouldn’t cry, you were so amazing” you said softly as you kneeled down looking at the boy. He sniffles and wipes his tears only for more to fall “I-I got tired, I-I forgot to breathe like I’ve been practicing..I-I forgot..I always forget” mateo sobbed out, his wailing growing louder and louder. “Mama and papa couldn’t even show up, I-i t-tried my best a-and-” you pulled him in for a hug, hands shaking lightly. He was so fragile..it made your heart hurt.
“you did the best you could, you always do your best. Didn’t you have fun?” You said softly as you looked at him, mateo glanced down with a sniffle before nodding slowly. “Y-yeah, s-swimming is always fun” he said softly as he messed with the medal around his neck.
“Then, be proud. You were amazing mateo! You went so fast!” You cheered out, your excited tone made him even more excited “r-really?! Hehe! I was like zoom! Super zoom!” He chimed out.
“Teo!” The sound of Dante’s voice made mateo perk up ah! Dante!” He cheered out, you softly nudged mateo forward “tell him how fast you went” you said softly, watching mateo rush off nearly tipping from utter excitement.
Tiago:
You expected a young tiago to be just like his normal self, gentle and soft maybe even quiet. You definitely weren’t expecting the first sight you saw was a young tiago to be climbing trees and jumping off them. “Wow you’re like Tarzan huh?” You asked out as you watched him with a grin.
“Tarzan got nothing on me!” He cheered out happily, apparently him and his parents were on a cabin vacation to relax his mom before the baby comes. “Oh yeah?” You cooed out with a grin “but Tarzan has a Jane, you don’t have that” you teased making him stop and pause. Tiago sat on a branch and gave a soft hum.
“Okay you’ll be my Jane!” He cheered out before standing ontop of the branch. “That way I’m still better than Tarzan” he chimed out as he held his arms out now walking along the thick branch.
“I dunno if I wanna be Jane.” You said jokingly, Tiago huffs “too late! You’re Jane! I already decided! No take backs!” He said stubbornly. Seeing Tiago like this made you really happy, he is never this carefree and bubbly with you in present time.
“Hmm okay Tarzan, what’s your favorite animal?”
“Ha! That’s easy! Dogs are the best things in the world! They are so loyal and you can sit on their back and use them as horses!” He chimed out, now balancing on one foot as he stood on the branch.
“You shouldn’t actually do that, just ride a horse” you mumbled out making him huff as he looked at you “I never rode a real horse before” he said softly before a cracking noise got your attention. “H-hey you should get down”
“No way! Tarzan would never-” the branch snapped and Tiago came falling down, in a surge of panic you caught him both of you falling down as Tiago sat on your chest now shaking.
“T-that was..so cool! You’re the coolest Jane ever!” He cheered out with a large smile, you on the other hand did not find that cool and glared lightly at tiago..maybe it’s better if he wasn’t this hyper in present times.
“Be careful next time yeah?” You said softly as you sat up now messing with his hair. Tiago looked at you in utter awe before he heard his father calling him.
He got off you before sticking his tongue out at you “blehhh! Bye Jane! Let’s play again okay?” He said happily before running off “papa! papa! I climbed a tree!”
Zeke:
“I don’t think you should be doing this” you said softly to zeke as he placed the Last pot on the ground before grabbing the wooden spoons. “Mama is at work and papa is taking a nap, it’s okay! Plus I wanna play drums” Zeke said before starting to bang the spoon against the pots loudly.
You flinched and winced, the loud noise would definitely get him in huge trouble. You softly grabbed his hands stopping him “how about we do something else instead? You like music yeah? How about we sing?” You said nervously with a smile.
Zeke stared at you before humming and nodding “okay! Let’s sing!” He cheered out happily. You and zeke ended up singing a bunch of different songs before you found yourself humming to zeke as he laid his head in your lap. You ran your fingers through his hair as you started to sing him a lullaby.
“You sound so pretty, like an angel!” Zeke said excitedly before gasping “wait are you an angel?! Can I see your wings?!” He said now sitting up and staring at you. You laughed and glanced away “sorry don’t have wings, if I did you would know” you said softly making him groan as he laid his head back in your lap “boo I wanted to see angel wings, but I guess it’s okay if you aren’t an angel..” he said softly before looking up at you
“Sing me another song!” He cheered out, you simply couldn’t say no to his adorable face so you did just that. You felt his body grow heavier as he slowly fell asleep from you singing.
Dante:
“Why do they say that they are mad? They don’t look angry” dante said as he laid on his stomach reading Alice in wonderland.
“Well mad is another word for crazy” you said softly with a smile, watching him flip the page “why does Alice wanna go home so bad, wonderland is so cool!” He cheered out happily with a smile. “Well she misses her family, wouldn’t you miss your family if you went away somewhere?” You asked him curiously. Dante paused the think before nodding “yeah, I’ll miss Mama and pap and Tiago!” He huffed out as he sat up.
“If i go to wonderland I’ll just take them with me!” He cheered out with a smile, you laughed and sat next to him “I don’t think it works like that” you said softly. He hummed before looking at you “then I’ll bring you! So I won’t be lonely and by myself!” He cheered out with a grin.
He was far too adorable! How was dante this cute as a kid?! “Oh? Okay we’ll go to wonderland one day!” You said excitedly, making the boy stand on his bed “yeah! The morning sun in Tokyo is scorching and much fiery when walking with the busy streets of the city and the crowds filling up the roads on their way to their business as well as the vehicles' beeping noise, and the drivers waiting for the green light to appear on the stoplight on the sidewalks where people passed through the pedestrian lanes. Not too long after, the color changed and the wheels continued to spin on the cement.
However, the heat didn't much affect the Japanese traditional buildings on the side of the city where the well-known Sorcerer resides and is known to be the pillar of Jujutsu for many generations.
Inside the classroom built the same as the mentioned building, four individuals are discussing what are they going to do for their lessons. The breeze accompanied by the sun made the room pleasant and the cool scent of the trees and earth made it more ethereal.
“Sensei! Are we going to exorcise Curses today?” The pink-haired one asked, his right hand raising to catch the white-haired Sorcerer's attention. The said teacher with a blindfold covering half of his face grinned upon hearing his question. Seeing this expression, the trio of the First Years of Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College interpreted this as exorcising Curses again on the fifth day of the first week.
His answer made them surprised.
“Nope!” Gojo crossed his arms against his chest as he leaned on the desk of the teacher’s table. Despite having the dark fabric on his eyes, Gojo can see them perfectly and he can tell that his students are getting impatient and itching to know what they are going to do. The wind outside of their classroom entered and it swayed their hair on the side as Gojo blinked underneath his blindfold.
“Checkups happen every fifth day of the month and our school doctor, Shoko Ieri, is currently not here.” Gojo paused before continuing, “Instead, one of the Third Years is gonna check on you three.”
“I thought the Third Years were suspended?” The dark-haired boy beside the pink one furrowed his eyebrows in confusion at Gojo’s announcement.
“Heh, ask questions to the Third Year herself.”
‘He’s not even bothering to explain’ … the three students thought.
“She just got back from her mission with her teammates. So ask her as much as you want.” Gojo walked in front of them as he led them to the Clinic’s Office not far away from the classroom they were staying earlier.
“And oh, I forgot to add. She finishes her mission from…”
“From...?” Itadori and Kugisaki trailed as they stared at Gojo grinning from ear to ear.
“...South Korea!” Gojo exclaimed.
‘South… Korea!?’ The two are trying to process the bomb that their Sensei said then as if the place warped into the bustling city of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Kugisaki imagined herself on her fashion clothes trying the famous cosmetics product that the mentioned country can offer, the beautiful shades of lipsticks and foundations as well as the Han River and the Seoul Tower she often sees from the K-dramas she watched back from the days. Meanwhile, Itadori was busy in his dreamland with his favorite idols he listens to on his playlist.
“Who’s the Third Year, Sensei? Since it’s a girl, it’s not Hakari-senpai?” Fushiguro, the one who had met the seniors of the school, asked. Remembering the Third Year Male student, Hakari. Gojo craned his neck to glance at Fushiguro.
“The eldest of the Three Espada.” Those words are enough to make Fushiguro halt from walking as his eyes widened in astonishment. He tried to open his mouth to ask but he remained speechless.
“Fushiguro?” Itadori called out to him. Kugisaki also stopped in her tracks to look at the dark-haired student, confused by his sudden behavior.
‘That woman?!’ an image of a black-uniformed girl appeared on his mind. Fushiguro marched his way to the wooden sliding door a few steps away from them and glided it open loudly. His companions watched him storm to the office.
“Have he met her?” Gojo placed his palm to his nape. Kugisaki and Itadori threw him puzzled looks.
“Yugen-senpai!” He yelled as soon as his light green eyes landed on the familiar small figure trying to place a plastic jar on her hand to the third row of the high shelf. His shouting startled the poor girl when the plastic fell from her grasp.
“Eh?” Yugen gaped at Fushiguro.
“Your deduction before you left is right. Thank you for warning me.” Fushiguro bowed at her, still standing in the doorway. Gojo, Itadori, and Kugisaki caught up to him, standing behind the bowing Fushiguro.
“No problem, Megumi.” the mahogany haired girl smiled at him. “Gojo-sensei will try to steal the cupcakes I baked that day, right? It’s a good thing, you immediately hid them or he will eat it.”
“Ack! So you did hide them from me, Megumi!” Gojo looked at Fushiguro in betrayal.
“And you planned to eat the cupcakes without him knowing,” Yugen added as she picked up the jar on the wooden floor. “The plan worked and we exposed Gojo-sensei. When Den and Shina are here, I’ll collect the money they bet.”
“Yu-chan, you sneaky midget.”
“Revenge for forcing me to eat that huge parfait that you had last year!”
“I thought I could buy it for one person only!”
“That was the problem, Sensei. That dessert was meant to be for couples and it was Valentine’s Day!”
“You lived near the area. That’s why I called you.”
“ I have to take the subway and do you know how many medicines I swallowed? It was 3!”
“I paid for your medical expenses!”
“It was not enough to let me forget the pain.” Yugen glared at Gojo who shifted his head away in guilt.
“How come the topic switched from cupcakes to money?” Fushiguro deadpanned.
Kugisaki nudged him. “Is she the one that will check on us? Who is she, by the way?”
“Yugen-senpai... is the eldest out of the Three Espadas. The main reason they were grouped is that they are experts to track intelligent Curses like the Curse you and Itadori fought the other day. Intelligent Curses are annoying. Even though some of them are low Grades, they are still capable of affecting the humans near them.”
“She and Gojo-sensei had a pretty close relationship. She hangs out with him more than the other two Senpais and that’s because her Curse Technique keeps developing and the Principal ordered him to observe her Curse Technique when she is alone on her missions.” Fushiguro added.
“If the two Senpai are with her?” This time, Itadori asked.
“Then they can control her actions.”
“What? Will she go on a rampage if she uses her Curse Technique?” Itadori remembered a manga character that loses his control during his fight with the antagonist on the shounen manga he read during day-offs.
“I can control myself just fine.”
A pair of gloved hands patted Itadori and Kugisaki’s backs as Yugen stood between the two.
“The reason Gojo-sensei observed me is that my Curse Technique is an unknown factor and even I, the User, doesn’t know that much about it.” Yugen gently led the two First Years to the stadiometer beside the bookshelves. “Enough about me! Shall we start measuring your heights?”
“Yugen-senpai, Gojo-sensei said that you just got back from your mission on South Korea.” Itadori watched Yugen jot down something about Fushiguro’s heart exam on a piece of paper on the desk. Their check-up didn't take long as the Third Year only wrote their vital signs, general appearance, and lastly, the heart exam where Yugen has to listen to their heartbeats and write to the paper. “What exactly did you do?”
“Ah.” Yugen blinked. “There were some Special Grade Curses on a killing spree and two of them,” she formed her fingers into the letter ‘V’, “...are in South Korea.”
“Did you exorcise it properly?” Gojo asked, moving to sit on the swivel chair which the school doctor, Shoko Ieri, is originally the one occupying the seat. He raised his other leg to rest on his left thigh as Gojo leaned back on the chair.
“Of course.”
"You think I'll let those monsters go?" the mahogany haired girl sighed in defeat. "Speaking of Curses, why did you ask me about being the Vessel that can locate Curses?"
"Oh! I forgot to tell you?"
Gojo only received a silent stare from Yugen.
"Itadori Yuuji-kun here," The white-haired sorcerer stood up from his seat and placed his hands on the said boy's shoulders. "..ate Sukuna and now, he is the Vessel."
The Third Year hummed in understanding.
"Eh... you must have a superhuman strength to control the King of Curses..."
"You won't believe it, Senpai." Kugisaki scoffed. "The other day, this idiot right here punched a cemented wall like it's nothing!"
Yugen let out a huff in amusement as she smirked. "Did he sustains any injury?"
"Hmmm..." Kugisaki's memory on the first day that she and Itadori fought together flashed on her mind. "...I think he didn't have any."
"Woah! Nice." Yugen turned to Itadori's direction which the said boy is sitting on the vacant bed meant for patients. The pink-haired First-year met her eyes, feeling her gaze boring right into his soul.
"Hey, Yu-chan," Gojo called. "You should be resting, right? Like Shina and Den."
Yugen scrunched her nose. "As soon as I'm done learning Medicine from Shoko-Sensei, the better."
"I'm not talking about that."
"Hm? What are you talking about then?"
"Instead of using the day off to catch up with your family, you directly went here." Gojo's voice lowered into a serious tone that made the First Year turn to him with surprise written on their faces.
Yugen tilted her head to the white-haired Sorcerer's words.
"Why..did you come here?" He asked.
There was a moment of silence as the atmosphere plummeted due to Gojo's sudden serious tone and the certain Third Year remain looking at him in innocence.
'Yugen-senpai didn't even flinch...' Fushiguro thought, light green eyes observing the deafening and silent tension between Gojo and Yugen.
'W-What's happening?' Kugisaki shifting her eyes from side to side where the questioned female is standing.
'Are they gonna fight?' Itadori anticipated.
As if reading his mind, Fushiguro and Kugisaki whipped their heads to him with an intense glare making Itadori feigned ignorance to them.
"I ran away."
Yugen broke the silence.
"Huh?"
"I said I run away from home." Yugen narrowed her eyes to Gojo. "Is that a problem?"
Gojo can't believe that the student he raised half of her life as a Jujutsu Sorcerer and the goody-good shoes little girl image she always shows uttered those words.
'Is she finally on her rebellious phase?!'
"Don't get the wrong idea." Gojo snapped out of his trance as Yugen gazed at him, straight into his concealed eyes. The Third Year dropping the pen on her gloved hand to the table.
"My Godmothers are staying in my family house for weeks and I can't handle their energies." She said in a firm voice. "They are grandmas but they are extremely lively that I can't help go far away from them!"
"Is that it?" Gojo asked. Even though he knows Yugen had a loving family, there was still something fishy when she arrived in Japan.
Yugen only hummed as she turns towards the First Years with an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that."
"It's okay, Senpai..." Megumi answered.
"How about we grab some lunch?" A certain two perked up from her invitation. "I want to have a bonding time with my Kouhai, is that okay?"
"More than okay, Senpai!" Itadori and Kugisaki leaned into her with childish glee on their eyes. The Third Year seemed satisfied with their acceptance as her lips quirked up again. On the side, Fushiguro is watching the scene before unfold with his usual face yet didn't reject the request.
"Are you going with us, Sensei?" Itadori questioned, quietly waiting for Gojo to go with the students. The white-haired Sorcerer grinned.
"I was planning to drop you three-" the First Years felt a vein popped on their temple. "-to Yugen." then they sighed in relief.
Gojo chuckled. "Then, I will go now. I still have a business to take care of. Bye~!"
With that, he disappeared in a flash with no traces left behind where he was standing. Yugen glance at the trio from the corner of her eyes, "Let's go."
"Is it okay not to do missions today?" Itadori steps back when two children suddenly passed to him. Kugisaki on his left with Fushiguro on her side while the tiny one, Yugen, walked in front.
Kugisaki made a noise of complaint. "Oh, leave it. Sensei has been dumping his missions to us these past few days, this is an opportunity to rest!"
Fushiguro, without looking at Itadori's worried eyes, said. "It's a good thing he didn't give us a mission before he left." It's still unsettling, though.
"Ahem!" Yugen cleared her throat, one arm crossed against her chest, and the free hand-formed into a fist like she's holding a mic. This immediately made the First Year shift their attention to her.
"We're here."
Three set pair of eyes gawked at the sight of the place they never thought they will be. It was like everything was a scene out of a romantic as the people around them faded and they can't hear anything but the hunger taking its claim to their stomach.
It's a BBQ Restaurant.
A grumble escaped on a stomach as Kugisaki embarrassedly clutched her stomach. "I-I never thought I will be hungry this much...!"
"You're not the only one.." Itadori wiped the drool on the corner of his mouth.
Fushiguro is still ogling at the restaurant's nameplate.
Yugen let out an amused, loud laugh. "It's my treat that's why I brought you guys here."
"Senpai!!" the two rejoiced. Once again, Yugen cackled as she slid the door opened. A staff approached them and offered a seat suitable for four. The smoky, alluring scent of meat grilling on the fire with sauce in the eating house made them sigh. Taking their seat, the staff escorting them set up the charcoal as another one come over to them to hand the menu.
"Waah! I can't choose!" Itadori read the choice of meats displayed. "They look so good!"
"Yugen-Senpai, are you okay spending your money on this?" Fushiguro furrowed his eyebrows.
"It's fine, it's fine." Yugen insisted. "Megumi, you should pick whatever you want. I don't mind wasting my money on delicious foods! So, choose anything you want 'cause it's on me!"
"Thank you for coming!"
Yugen smiled as she waved at the staff, the trio saying thank you to the staff, following her after. Walking ahead again, Yugen quietly observed the city she didn't see for half a year since she got the mission. I was lucky to know that the restaurant is still there.
"You mean Yugen-senpai is like a teacher's friend?" She hears Itadori muttered. The two hissed at him at his choice of words, afraid that the Third Year will misunderstand.
"Itadori, you idiot!" Kugisaki covered his mouth to prevent Itadori from speaking.
"Being friends with a teacher is quite intimidating." Yugen blurted. "Hmm...I am more like..an errand girl to them."
"Anyways, why am I in your conversation?"
"We were talking about how Yugen-senpai go to errands for the teachers." Fushiguro is the first to explain. Stuffing his hands in his pocket, his eyes locked with Yugen's eyes looking at him. "Itadori thought you are friends with the teachers."
"Senpai, I'm sorry." Itadori apologized as he clasps his hand together.
"At first, people will also think about it like that," Yugen said, turning her head to Itadori's direction as she grinned. "Should I teach you how to observe like a detective?"
"Woahh!!" stars were surrounding Itadori. "Is that what you do when you work?"
"Of course. It's important to become aware of everything near you to know if Curses were lurking around or when fighting against a Curse, note the Curse's weakness and its ability to counter it." Yugen continued. "Megumi has a sharp sense with that skill."
"I never saw Fushiguro writing a plan," Kugisaki stated. Imagining Fushiguro jot down during mission or assignment like what coaches do in a match.
"No, not like that," Yugen says as she had a hunch about what Kugisaki is thinking. "Being calculative and logical in the situation."
"Oh! like the fight, we first met!" Itadori remembering how Fushiguro acted. "He was quick to rescue."
"That's because the Cursed Object, Sukuna's finger, is there. " Fushiguro grunted. "I can't let a Special Grade like that leave it alone."
"See? Megumi is fit to be like the tactician, just like Den." Yugen mused. "By the way, Den is one of my friends. She asks the Auxiliary Managers what kind of Curse we are going to exorcise or if there are any casualties."
"I thought the tactician is Shina-senpai?" Fushiguro murmured as they turn to a street.
"Shina is the support at the same, the tactician. Usually, we divide the work into combat, the brain, and lastly the healer. The brain is us though Shina is the assigned one. Combat is for Den while I am the healer." Yugen explained. "Since you know, I work under Shoko-Sensei. Not to mention, I am also the backup. If Den can't handle it then that's where I will enter."
"Why Three Espada?" Itadori questioned.
"It was the Principal named that. I still don't know why he gave us that name." Yugen shrugged. At last, the route they are taking is empty with no one around but them. The familiar rustling of the leaves above them protected them from the sunray as the wind blew softly. There is still another one they have to saunter, the last route is where the Jujutsu Tech is located.
"Maybe he thought that you are like Knights?" Kugisaki pondered.
"That's a good rea-"
Thorns darted from the middle of the trees as it keeps shooting with no intention of stopping. Thankfully, the four are quick enough to their feet to evade the attacks coming on their way as the thorns relinquished.
On their fighting stances, Fushiguro formed his hands to the preparation for summoning his Divine Dogs while Kugisaki had her weapons in her hands, Nails between her closed fingers with the other holding the Hammer. On the other side, Itadori and Yugen raised their fists in their faces as they are the ones are unarmed.
"Looks like we have to digest the meat..." Yugen joked, glaring at the disfigured Curse advancing towards them. Coming out from its hideout, the Curse has a huge petal-like curve on its head, the body oozing goo.
'Is it a Grade 3 Curse?' Indigo eyes trailing on the Curse.
"Emerge from the darkness, blacker than the darkness. Purify that which is impure." she chanted.
Another two similar to the Curse approach them to their side which made them cornered. Kugisaki's nails dig on her skin, Fushiguro raising his guard as Itadori tightened his fist.
"Counter!"
At the Third Year's command, they charge to the Curses as Kugisaki's Nails floated in front of her with her Cursed Energy flowing; pounding the Nails using her Hammer, it aimed to the Curse's head and blow up into slimy pieces.
Closing her eyes with a pleasing smile. 'Flawless.'
Meanwhile, Fushiguro let the White Divine Dog lunge on the Curse from jumping above as the Black Divine Dog distracted it from the bottom which made the Curse focused on the Black one; not noticing the two jumping figures above it, Fushiguro elbowed the Curse's petal as the White one began to pluck its eyeballs.
'The rest of its body is liquid, it's best to mess it to the solid part...which is the petal.' The Divine Dogs chew the rest of the Curse's remain.
Launching a heavy blow on a Curse's body from each side, Itadori pummeled the Curse's head with a punch as Yugen strike on its left. The impact vibrates throughout the whole body; just like what happened to Kugisaki and Fushiguro's Curse, it also blew up.
"Did it died?" Itadori murmured. 'Yugen-Senpai's moves are graceful. Is she good in martial arts?'
"Guess not," Yugen replied, catching the slimy pieces trembling and gathering to one spot.
"I thought we exorcised it?" Kugisaki asked.
"Hmm..." Yugen keenly eyeing the Curse transforming into a large body, even bigger than before as the slimes rapidly circling the Curse.
"The Curse needs to be cut into small pieces." She concludes as the First Years listened to her. "I don't care what kind of method it is; dice, cube, or mince. Just make sure it's small so that it's recovery time will be lowered."
"Now, let's exorcise it."
Cursed Energy from Kugisaki continued to flow into the Nails as she draws out more nails from her light colored belt and aiming it at the Transformed Curse on the shoulder's blade; Fushiguro used the Curse' immobility for the Divine Dogs to pounce on the Curse's torso and limbs as Fushiguro leap to the Curse with a fast speed, his fist slamming to the head which Yugen and Itadori landed both kicks and jabs on the Curse's limbs and torso as they resume to slice the Curse into a lump.
Yugen swiftly grabs highway rails on the side, tossing it to Itadori who didn't expect the weapon. Nonetheless, they use the rails to slash it to the Curse; as Fushiguro pulls off one of the huge petals to Kugisaki.
Linking the Curse's petal part on the ground, Kugisaki hammered the Nails into the straw doll on top of the petal, shouting; "Straw Doll Technique: Resonance!"
To wrap it all up, the Curse didn't explode but burned.
"Yey!" Itadori and Yugen high-fived each other as the Third Year also do it with Fushiguro and Kugisaki.
Kugisaki sighed in relief. "It was a good thing I didn't leave my belt."
"Alright, good work, everyone!" Yugen clapped, letting go of the highway-rail.
"Senpai, where did you get that?" Fushiguro seeing the highway-rail that he didn't notice she is holding,
"There." Not too far away from them, the highway-rail that is supposed to protect the passing vehicles is missing. "Don't worry, I know someone that can repair that,"
"For now..." Yugen paused. "..to Jujutsu Tech!"
