#digital art#genshin impact#genshin diluc#part 2 of ?? in my genshin in armour series#for diluc i wanted to balance a bunch of ideas#1. he doesn’t seem like the type to custom order a suit of armour for his personal use#he’s from a wealthy family so there might be suits of armour from knights and nobles in previous generations of the family#but he wouldn’t have anything really personal.#2. he is the darknight hero#i imagine he could wear this armour when he’s batman-ing it up#in that case it needs to both hide his identity and be recognizable in its own right#i think this is different enough from diluc’s regular wear that with some superhero logic would hide his identity#and the red faceplate on a black helmet is recognizable enough to generate an urban legend i think#(i was this close to putting batman ears on the helmet)#oh yeah 3. diluc is not extravagant#he’s rich and lives in a mansion and runs a tavern but that’s all mostly inherited#he isn’t trying to get a spotlight in any part of his life least of all when he’s vigilante-ing#so the armour has no embellishments or ornamentation
