fionna & cake is kinda bojack horseman esque. esp the 2nd episode. following the life of a depressed alcoholic middle aged man as he has an absolutley miserable time. i mean. it's also very different, but like. the similarities r there

#except i think simon is a Better and More Symathetic Person #than bojack is #despite. all the kidnapping & stalking and also the killing #but in the adventure time universe those things dont have the same levity as they would in the bjh universe #m. i do think ur also supposed to question the ethics of many of simons actions & not always side w him #similar to bojack. but not AS much #this is much more #bojack horseman spoilers #but also they both have this. dying motif #like? remember how in bjh they CONSTANTLY foreshadowed him drowning to death??#and in fionna & cake they will not stop showing us simons corpse lol #theyve got that in common #ACTUALLY #i think f&c might do a similar thing w that as bjh #cuz bjh (SPOILERS) ended up doing a fakeout where they lead u to beleive that all that foreshadowing #lead to a final ending where bojack drowns & dies & its framed as being scary but also as him finally being released from all his suffering #but then he survives. he goes to prison. he has to face his actions.
