I really do love the tf2 comics with all my heart as a standalone thing but the fact that the writers tried to pull like a "win for the underdog" type story with this cast of characters is like. insane to me.

like yeah sure the bougie european twat with the borderline-magic james bond gear, the xenophobic republican screaming misogynistic abuse at any man with hair longer than a buzzcut, and the nazis-aren't-funny-but-we-can't-NOT-have-a-creepy-german-scientist-in-a-cold-war-media-parody-like-come-on character are underdogs. why not. nothing means anything anymore. root for them because they're losers like you, booyah
