the HUGE irony with the outcry about sabra being included in the next cap movie is that

literally tony stark has been that , canonically, throughout the series

a literal war criminal with thousands of killings connected to his weapon making both before AND AFTER becoming ironman, specifically in the middle east.

yet he is a darling of the mcu (what, because he felt bad once?? doesn't erase all those deaths in any way shape or form???)

same thing with the bad guys being just... people with actual legitimate struggles and concerns being framed as genocidal maniacs, like mysterio in spiderman, like the "anti-patriotic" flag smashers in falcon & tws, like the god killer, etc etc etc.

why are you only caring about disney and marvel being fearmongering war apologists NOW?!?!? just because suddenly the mirror isn't turned back on you, the US, doesn't mean it's anything new that ppl from other countries haven't been complaining about for 15 years now about the mcu

i quite literally have had to turn my brain off to be able to enjoy those movies (i stopped a few years ago so not sure where we are now in their shitty timeline), and am not planning on watching this clusterfuck of a propaganda bs machine anyway, especially now that i've learned about sabra being in it

but it's worth noting, the way this fucking fandom behaves is ridiculous sometimes.
