I feel like SM is letting Aespa experiment with their b sides (which I understand since they’re a newer group) while RV’s new album gave us similar songs we already heard in their discography before 😭

nothing short of leo promising to let me hit it AFTER we go on a fancy 5 course meal date on HIS dime could get me to listen to aespa bsides so ill have to trust your judgment but that sounds about right. 😭😭😭😭 something my friend noticed a few years before me is that sm will experiment with an artist and if they last long enough they'll find a niche that sm will basically rehash over and over. not every artist will hit this point (think fx you could never expect what they would release) but once they do the songs will without fail all start to sound the same. its not BAD per se but you get the sense that you've heard it all before and red velvet and taemin have it the worst for whatever reason like theyre so deep in a niche. and its like if this is your first or second rv comeback i could see ppl loving this album down but i got put on in 2015!!!!!!!!! these roads ye i have travelled before!
