barry syx is fucking hilarious but he keeps making me sad
#he woke up out of bed thinking it was barry ice cream night with all the other clones but realized its noy#and instead of letting himself get sad he just immediately switched tracks to be pumped for sid instead#(psychoanalyzes him from 1.5 episodes)#i think that barry doesn't do a lot of introspection or thinking#he's basically got two well-worn modes and that's happiness and rage.#barbarian moments but like. augh. aughaughauhh.#something so upsetting to me about a character that goes through terrible things but lacks the introspection to conceptualize that#y'know that they've Gone Through terrible things#like he lives in the moment and that's great. but it doesn't give him any time to reflect on his feelings or the past or what he lost#also he's got this innocence. the barry clones weren't created to think. they were supposed to be big dumb supersoldiers.#but they were so happy#there was this camraderie in that they all loved life and the world and what they were made to do#i GOTTA know what made barry nyne different and why he did what he did#i'm sure we'll find out#but oh my god barry
