theyre the lead singer of far ^_^ 90s emo/posthardcore/whatever-you-want-to-label-it-band that was super influential for future bands and like tom mentioned them as an influence in an interview or two. also they were in new end original (with norman brannon), gratitude, and also makes music solo under onelinedrawing. but like when i saw thursday in feb geoff shouted out far (and deftones) bc sacramento and thats why i started listening to far (actually my mutual listened to them first and then i was like holy shit far from geoff).

#but yeah. far and deftone were besties jonahs hopped on stage with em a billion times #and ofc far and thursday were buds like. i mean far broke up before thursday got together #but thursday toured with onelinedrawing a gaggle of times #like in 2002 with cursive iirc #but like you can HEAR the influence like dying in new brunswick is pretty much identical to wear it so well #i think sparta had some far influence in it but i cant pick one off the top of my head
