i love seeing mark all anxious and protective over oliver but it also makes me sad bc it reminds me that oh yeah. just a few months ago he saw his brother be lifted by his little baby arm and flung around like a ragdoll and he couldn't do anything to stop it huh :(

#i think some ppl don't realize just how fucked up the whole angstrom thing was and how that event is influencing mark's mindset in season 3 #like yes it's also a teenager thing but em. i don't think it's particularly weird for mark to be more aggressive and emotionally volatile #his mom and brother were almost killed and he murdered someone for it. that's... a pretty significant life event #in fact i'm a little disappointed they aren't having debbie act more outwardly affected by it #though i do think her not even letting oliver go outside and /try/ to make friends can definitely be construed as a bad coping mechanism #invincible spoilers #invincible #willow whispers
