For people who don't have tiktok and don't want it lol basically the gist is

A lady made a pink colored sauce and it went viral. From what I gather it's ranch-like and it's pink cause pitaya (or dragon fruit) is one of the ingredients. this wouldn't be a problem but she started selling them.

if u sell food you made in your kitchen you have to be aware of the laws and guidelines, get health safety certificates, make sure your nutrition labels are correct etc. you're also supposed to ship anything perishable a certain way (with dry ice, special types of packaging, I get them cause I order a lot of Asian groceries online). she didn't do any of that

she packed it in cardboard boxes and since the sauce contains milk, and it's summer in the US, a lot of people recieved spoiled sauces cause some of them took about 2 weeks to arrive. there's videos of people opening them and the sauce is spilled all over and it's rotten

the other problem is that her nutrition label isn't accurate. this could have legal repercussions because of fda guidelines. it also does not have an expiration date. also from the different videos she has, the hue of the pink wildly differs between batches so ppl speculated there's no measuring and quality control

what I think happened is that it went viral and she wanted to ride that wave, but she went too fast and went in it without doing research and fully understanding how you're supposed to correctly sell food

the response from her was lackluster and ppl weren't happy w how she responded. there are ppl there that genuinely wanna inform and help her tho

it's just wild lmao. it's v reminiscent of shit that went down on this blue site, it's why I fell into the rabbit hole jfjdjd
