WELL… I JUST HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE…

So I scrolled through Elodevi’s channel on YouTube to see if there were clips of interviews I haven’t seen before and I… find something similar that is actually a conference—

This, my friends, blew my mind. In the beginning, I hear Jeff and then Bev, and one guy I assume is the interviewer(?) (I know I said this was a conference and not exactly like a stereotypical interview I just don’t know what to call him lol 😭) AND THEN? I HEAR KELLY SPEAKING AT SOME PARTS!!! AND THEN WHAT??? I HEAR HUGH!!! YES, HUGH MCDOWELL HIMSELF, SPEAKING BASICALLY MOST OF THE CONFERENCE! AND THEN, YOU ASK, IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE???

YES, THERE IS!!!

MELVYN GALE ALSO SPOKE DURING THIS CONFERENCE!!!

He spoke a lot, more than Kelly but possibly less than Hugh.

I AM ACTUALLY HAPPY!

I am excited—hyper—absolutely overjoyed, even.

The entire time I was listening to it I was so calm yet so excited at the same time. They all sounded so reserved yet friendly and I just loved it. So sophisticated and humble at the same time. It’s just-I loved this video. I love it so much.

#electric light orchestra #hugh mcdowell #melvyn gale #jeff lynne #bev bevan #kelly groucutt #for some reason I never heard Mik or Richard #okay richard and bev do sound alike so it’s possible richard spoke like once but I can’t bet on it #Richard is very much known for being very quiet and introverted as mik is as well so im not too sure #I have developed the ability to distinguish his voice and Bev’s voice but even to this day I still struggle #i think richard might be slightly higher pitched and more nasally and less flat sounding?#ugghhjrkekfksafjfj #anyways #i love how confident melvyn was #the man is a talker #a motormouth #a chatterbox if you will #and i like that i still do #i was so pleasantly surprised to hear the smooth high pitched nasally London accent of Hughie as well #he did so great in the conference i just loved his parts so much #he stole the show #he sounded pleasant and fun to be around as well #im on top of the world right now #I hope there’s more out there #a fan can only hope #wow #im so thankful for this #i really am #im so glad this band exists and they did these things together #i also would like to know more about them in general but it was nice to hear how their shows went and what they thought of other music
