one day we'll have a conversation about how schizophrenia doesn't make you racist and schizophrenia shouldn't be associated with racism but makes it easy to fall down the rabbit hole of conspiratorial thinking and pick up anti-Semitism and racism along the way with the way these rabbit holes online are designed. unfortunately I know nobody would be normal about said conversation

#i keep seeing that one guy that wrote the scott pilgrim post #and i was going through his blog #obviously i dont have sympathy for him being a massive racist and transphobe #but i think this guy is so far gone that his politics are based off the dark crystal #and while his shit should be mocked when it appears in the wild #there are some posts where he talks about non-racism based delusions that i see people #ripping into #i don't know man i think he's a vile person #but even if he wasnt racist and fascist and a transphobe i think #people would still be egging delusions on #i really dont rhink this is a situation of some guy saying vile shit and then going 'im a victim'#i think rhis is someone who because of a mentally ill brain genuinely believes #he is being tortured #i do not think that sending shit to a mentally ill man is the way to deplatform him i think everyone would be better off ignoring him #because right now all that is being done is that he feels even more founded in his delusions #this doesnt teach him that it's unacceptable to be racist
