#sophies ramblings#i don't think there's anything wrong with the placement per se! it's just....interesting#btwn louvre (royal power) and st germain l'auxerrois (bells were used to signal the start of the massacre) sure is a choice#BUT it is on rue de l'amiral coligny so there is ALSO that#the sign describing the massacre is sort of what you'd expect and glosses over some details (in my biased opinion bc i work on protestants)#i think putting it at the site of coligny's death would be.
