oh man godspeed with the spinoff and second season. they changed writers and everyone agrees that the spinoff and especially season 2 noticably dropped in quality compared to the original 😬

yeahhhhh, i’m kinda just listening to pass the time at work while i do the really repetitive nightly stuff, but i am a lot less interested in the spinoff. you’d think something centered around the riddler would be a lot more of. well, a puzzle to solve, and i’m sort of disappointed that it isn’t. if it was really good, it would have both the main obvious clear puzzle that gets resolved earlier than you’d expect and a second secret puzzle that ends up being plot-relevant, but if that’s what they’re doing, then they’re doing a bad job. mystery batman is my favorite batman, generally speaking, and action batman is a lot more fun when there’s pictures to look at or stunts to watch instead of beat-em-up sound effects

#they also changed vas for batman i think i like the new guy less #again i am biased i like a deep voice that’s mostly smooth but not completely #i was on the fence about s2 anyway what i got from glancing at the synopses was that it was a ‘bruce wayne’s plan to fix the city’ type of #affair and i hate those plot lines on principle #mostly bc they’re often like. ‘oh hey billionaire has sponsored a vigilante’ or ‘wayne tech benevolent surveillance state’#and batman has access to like. Literally Whatever The Plot Needs already but the thing is for me that like #i think it’s that batman isn’t real and rich guys who get the local government to do what they want Are #ESPEVIALLY when it’s like bruce wayne funding some. police program. when he knows damn well what the cops actually. Do #so if it actually was that i wasn’t gonna listen #anyway if you have other podcast recs (esp easy to make out over high amounts of bg noise) or batman comic recs (storylines or runs;#preferably mystery but i’m not picky) please share!!!
