Iris West Allen Birthday Headcanon

Barry Allen-Her Husband

Barry wakes up at the crack of dawn and always gives makes her the best birthday breakfast ever. He also runs around preparing the area for her when she wakes up.

And when Iris wakes up, it's always to the amazing smell of food and sees her house full of iris's.

Barry tries to stop her from leaving the house, using some *ahem* conventional methods.

(The turtle necks can be unbearable but she'll survive the rest of the day with dignity considering her friends are crazy.)

Team Citizen (Linda, Cynthia and Chester included)

Confetti is poped the moment she walks into the room.

A ton of pictures are taken and put on everyone's insta.

They all sing her happy birthday. No matter how off key it is.

They all make a group effort to make her a cake. She tries not to judge it by its cover and was so happy that she didn't.

Chester makes her a fancy gadget. (Be creative on what it can be cause I honestly don't know.)

Allegra always makes her a nice card, gives her a hug and gives her a cool leather jacket.

Kamilla shows her a scrapbook of all the photos that she's taken of Iris. Some are sexy, some are goofy and and some are cute. She looks good in every single one of them.

Linda let's her use her account for a week to buy as much coffee as she wants. That's probably the greatest gift given, considering how many articles that girl has.

Cynthia alway breaches over and gives her something unique from another earth. (The multiverse exists. Fuck you bitch)

West Family

Her dad always sings her the most unique birthday songs that has everone in tears by the end of it.

Cecile always makes sure to drop in subtle hints about new cases she can work on. (Joe hates it but the look of pure happiness on Iris's face stops him from talking)

Wally gives her an important gem or rune from his travel that symbolises something important. He also squeezes her real tight in a hug to remind himself that it's actually Iris there.

Joe also gives her a huge hug and tells her a story about her mother before the drugs happened. She's always grateful.

Jackie (fuck you she's a West) gives her some pretty clothes and make up that suits her skin tone.

Jenna (although young) gives her a hand drawn card and it's the cutest thing ever.

Team Flash

Oh my Lord, it's humiliating.

Cisco, while amazing, can't sing. It's basically a screach.

Iris just sits there and takes it because he seems so happy.

Well at least until Killer Frost has enough and threatens to throw an icicle at him.

Caitlin gives her a pare of really nice earrings and a nice jacket. She also brings a note with it that says sorry.

Cisco, my boy, gets her 3 different outfits. 1) Work. She needs to look elegant but he adds his own Cisco twist to it. 2) Meta fighting. Even though she doesn't have powers she's a bad ass and he makes sure her outfits are useful to fight. 3)Lounge wear. That boy knows comfy mood and he's got her

Ralph always gives her some new article to work on and they team up for one day any day when Iris wants.

Sue gets her beautiful jewellery .

All the Wells team up to help give a iris her gift. They always either tell her a story, give her beautiful relics or write up a book for her. She's always grateful for them.

Team Arrow

It's madness.

They all like to pretend that they have this in the bag.

But they don't.

They're scared that something would go wrong after Oliver (who's alive) brought her a mirror.

(it was the scariest moment of everyones life when she dropped it and started screaming and crying.)

So after that they always panic and try to get her a perfect gift.

Thea always gets her clothes. She makes sure that they would suit her skin type and limited make up.

Roy, bless his soul, gives her mint chip chocolate and is instantly swarmed with a hug.

(he didn't comment on the small tears.)

Felicity gets her 2 bottles of expensive wines from the Queen cellar along with with chocolate strawberry.

Oliver always gives her an exclusive interview and a really expensive gift.

(he tried to joke that he would show her his abs but when Barry zoomed over and his eyes crackled with lighting he shut his mouth up. Barry's scary when someone else tries to make a move on Iris.)

Laurel gets her purse and a gift bag. In the gift bag there's a small knife and gun along with jewellery.

Diggle and Lyla team up on the gift. They give her a pretty ring that Diggle made (Oliver gave him lessons.) Lyla also makes sure to fill her on in what happens at ARGUS.

The rest all buy her a chocolate cake.

Rogues

Lisa gives her a hug and a golden accessory.

(the gold goes really well with Iris's skin tone and Lisa is always jealous.)

Snart gives her an ice sculpture and teaches her a few words in Russian.

Mick writes her a book. It ranges from writing a list of reasons why people like her to a fantasy story about vampires.

The rest of the rogues make sure not to attack Central City to the week leading up to her birthday to the week after the birthday.

Team Supergirl

Kara gives her a huge hug. No matter what. Iris will always get a hug and a fly around Metropolis.

Alex gets her a gun. She knows it's not exactly normal but she knows it'll protect Iris against aliens that don't take a hint.

Mon-El (fuck you. Him and Kara are amazing) gets her a gift bag full of twizlers.

The rest of the team make a bunch of cupcakes.

Winn makes her some new tech and tries to out make Chester and sometimes Cisco to see who can make the best gift.

Lois gives her a coupon to an amazing spa because she understands the pain of having an idiot husband who's a superhero.

Clark gives her an exclusive for CC Citizen.

Batwoman

Mary makes sure that she gives Iris a shout out on her Insta because she adores her newspaper.

Kate gets her the most expensive gifts and tries to out do Oliver. It's always a competition between those two.

Luke makes her some fancy gadgets and bakes her some cookies.

Everyone teams up to get her a ton of bottles of wine, a dozen boxes of chocolates and a ton of roses.

Legends

Sara gets her artifacts from the different time lines even if it ruins the time line.

Ray gets her a pair of heels

(the first time he does it it was inside joke between him and Iris. After it became a tradition)

John Constantine makes sure to ward her. He places a ton of protective spells around her.

well there were a few reasons:

1). I never used the recolors myself. I like the colors I just never used them 2). I got comments about the colors looking too metalic 3). I had started Patreon around that time and doing recolors for 3 (and sometimes more) hairs every month would have been a lot. Especially bc my DDS was broken so I had to do them a bit more complicated than just saving as DDS. 

I know that some people really liked my recolors, and I am sorry if me stopping caused any issues. There are actions for the hair colors and recoloring hair is really easy to learn and do.

honestly most of the time i do stuff differently. I run the same topaz/sharpening actions every time and then add some shadows and play with curves. Nothing that is super intensive tbh. I wouldn’t even know how to go about doing a tutorial tbh

I really wanted to get all my 2019 CC updated before the end of the year and have it up in a .zip. But I never got around do updating stuff from the start of the year. I need to get back into updating stuff I just am so.. unmotivated recently? Idk hopefully I can get all my stuff updated in the next few months and have some mass downloads for 2017, 2018, and 2019 stuff.

Re: the IRE visit.  It seems very dull to me and lacking in opportunities for good pictures. Dogpatch labs - another visit to a tech/entrepreneur hub.  Why do they do these?  Seems he and Will visit these where ever they go.  Not as if they are going to start a tech hub themselves.  And not good pics either.  The Famine Memorial - a series of haunting statues on the quay but no education about the famine - a 5 minute visit?  Again - what are Harry and Markle going to stand by one of the ghostly emaciated figures and look sad?  The Immigration Museum.  This is a huge tourist attraction and actually is very cool.  Interactive very modern lots of lights and film.  But like the Titanic Museum visit in Belfast not really going to give you good visuals/pics.  And no relationship to Harry/Markle or anything he does in his work.  Croke Park.  Ah now this has a historic meaning - the GAA is a nationalist organization that promoted nationalism, Irish indigenous sports and language.  One of the largest stadiums in Europe.  Irish hurling and football are very fast paced exciting sports but they won’t be watching a game.  It also was the sight of the original Bloody Sunday during the Independence War.  I’d say if Harry got into some sport action you could get worthwhile pics -  but  those playful cute sporty pics W and K do so well won’t happen between Harry and Megs.  Boring and unrelated to anything Harry does in his royal work.

I would have taken him to the military barracks that are now the decorative arts center for the National Museum - they have a excellent display of old British military equipment and the life of a soldier when the barracks were used by the Irish regiments in the British army.  At least that is relevant to Harry.   I’d have him visit the Curragh Camp once the center of the British Army in Ireland and now the IDF’s main base with a rich WWI history and a chance for him to visit the UN Peacekeeping Training Center where Irish and British soldiers train together for Peacekeeping missions.  Pics of the hero soldier Harry with military guys and highlighting the collaborative efforts of the Irish and British armies - unthinkable even a few years ago.  How about the rich theater culture in Dublin as a nod to the alleged actress?  Or pics with kids playing hurling?  Harry is great with kids and again good pics.  How about Mr I am so interested in Conservation going to the first restoration of wilderness  established in Europe?  Or the urban agriculture which supplies Dublin with veggies?  Or the wind farms which have closed three power plants?

Instead we are getting lots of Meghan and Harry standing around talking to people or listening.  Meghan looking bored.  What is the purpose of any of this and how does it relate to anything he is doing?  Complete pr exercise and not even an effective one. Lousy tour.  

Glad I’m not the only one who finds this tour strange. When I first saw the itinerary I thought it looked more like a Trafalgar tourist bus schedule than a royal tour. It’s all touristy sites. 

It looks a lot like Meghan’s “regional tour” stops--one or two big tourist attractions and a cultural reception of some kind. This girl seems to love receptions for some reason. 

I don’t think they realize that these schedules are boringboringboring. They are probably less taxing for them and they get to move from one event to another quickly, checking off the CC appearances as they go, but they are snooze-worthy. It’s just two people standing around looking at stuff. 

They don’t even take the visuals into considerations. The pics of Will and Kate at the Coventry cathedral were amazing. Harry and Meghan have to come up with something like that. The only DoSex event that had good visuals was the Reprezent visit.

The DoSex don’t even look like they are having any fun at these events, and who can blame them given that it’s just a bunch of receptions at different venues. I don’t know what happened to Harry. He used to do fun tours, but ever since he met Meghan it’s been boringboringboring.

One thing that I have seen in shows before when they come back from summer hiatus is, if they ended on a cliffhanger, return to where they left off in the first episode then do the time jump for the next episode. Either that or have a lot more time pass between each episode for the first half of the season. I just really hope they don't skip over everything. Barry and Iris just became instant parents and I'd like to see how they deal with it from the start. Especially if Iris is already pregnant

I sincerely hope they come back to the cliffhanger moment in S5. After all, every other season ended with Barry’s disappearance, so this one is already breaking the mold.

Basically, the way I see it: either Iris is already pregnant and Barry was supposed to die in the finale, or Dawn accidentally changed something before the finale that caused him to die which would have erased her own existence and that’s why she saved him.

so now i think what will happen is a little more obvious. if next season is about family and Barry/Iris learning how to be parents to an adult, then they will be sad when she eventually goes back to her time at the end of the season...only to then find out Iris is pregnant and be thrilled about their new baby. right? i mean, that just seems logical now. then she'll have the baby (or babies) in Season 6 around Christmas or so.

I wonder what Team Arrow’s reaction are during Devoe’s takeover? I mean everyone is reeling from Oliver going to prison and Quentin’s death when all of a suddenly every type of technology isn’t working. I bet Felicity and Curtis was having mini panic attacks during the blackout.

Good question. How long did the event even last, though? Less than an hour, so maybe they were sleeping lmao. JK, I’m sure Felicity tried to contact CC because she they had done it, but couldn’t get through for obvious reasons.

Who do you think will become the next mayor? Some nobody that will be in the background or someone who will become important for the plot?

Hopefully someone important to the plot, because the government of Star City has been a major part of the story these last few seasons.

If Batman ever comes to the Arrowverse then how are the writers going to differentiate him from the Batman-wannabe called Oliver Queen?

I’m been hearing a terrible rumor lately that the writers might make Kate Kane be somehow related to Oliver because he’s their Batman in the Arrowverse.

Nah, they wouldn’t want to admit that. Plus, there are no bats involved in Oliver’s story. There’ll be mentions of Batman just like there was of Superman.

Do you think Ralph will be a series regular, like in every episode, or will he be on an recurring status? Do you think there are too many people on the cast now for everyone to have get a proper storyline?

I’m gonna guess he’ll be the same kind of regular Keiynan was. Maybe miss a few episodes, but otherwise there all the time. Which was pretty much already his status this season, so the only change I expect is for less of the story to revolve around him. 

As for the cast? Flash actually has one of the smaller casts in the Arrowverse, it just feels more cramped because everyone’s at STAR Labs all the time. Todd said they’re changing that next season, not that he can be trusted. Arrow had 9 series regulars this season, and they’re replacing Willa and Paul with others for next season. Legends had 9 as well, and they’re replacing Franz and Victor with Jes and Matt. Supergirl had 8. By contrast, Flash only has 6 series regulars. Even if they add both Hartley and Jessica, that’ll be 8 and even with SG.

Do you think another version of Wells is a little stale at this point? I’m not saying I want Tom C. to leave but I do think they need to do something different with his character, what do you think?

It’s certainly stale to me, but we’ll have to see what Todd and Tom came up with this time around.

Miami Photo Diary

I'm in Miami, Girl...

So unless you've been offline for the past 2 weeks (and if you were, good on you, internet breaks are good for the soul), you may have heard about my little trip to Miami with Space NK and IGK. I know right? D.R.E.A.M.Y!!!!

So last Monday myself, Kate, Lily and CC flew out to meet the teams and celebrate the launch of IGK on Space NK. 

For those who aren't familar with the two brands, Space NK is my FAVOURITE beauty retailer and they scour the globe to bring you the best beauty products of their class. I can safely say the addition of IGK works perfectly in to that statement as they really are one of the best hair care brands I've ever tried. The brand itself is a little edgy (which I loveee) with innovative and really effective products. They also seem to work amazingly on all hair types as everyone I was in Miami with had a different hair type but we were still able to use every single product. Until now they had only been available within the US, and the nature of haircare products made them impossible to ship, so their arrival in the UK has been so exciting for myself and so many other girls who are huge fans of the brand.

The Hotel.

On arriving to Miami (after a 15 minute drive and be playing Will Smith - Miami on repeat much to everyones eye rolls) we checked in to the Mondrian South Beach Hotel. It's totally gorgeous and a sea view room gives you the most stunning bay view. People live in that hotel and I honestly could too! (FYI there's also a modelling agency in house so there's cute boys galore - and a lot of cute dogs too actually!) The gym also faces the bay, and at this time of year I'd recommend getting on the treadmill at around 7am for the most incredible pink sunset. If I was a better blogger I would have been up shooting some outfits in front of it, but clearly my priorities are currently elsewhere!

Fun things.

On our second day we headed to the Arts District for a quick coffee before our blow dries at the IGK salon. We popped in to a little place which I think is called OTL and they do really yummy food as well as a super tasty American style Lemonade (plus good coffees too of course). The cafe is really cute and I would highly recommend popping in if you're ever in the area.

Later on we had a picnic over on the grass at Winwood Walls. This area is AMAZING. Honestly such an awesome part of Miami. Imagine tonnes of walls with the most incredible art on them, and spray paint all over the side walks too! 

IGK Salon.

Our blow dries at the IGK salon were pretty out of this world - my hair actually looked great for days after - and the whole in salon experience was just a dream. It had such a cool aesthetic - think industrial yet feminine. Every little detail was perfect and I could easily have spent another four hours in there soaking up the atmosphere. 

The Products.

After spending so much time with IGK learning about their products this week, I've quickly solidified my absolute favourite and must have products. It's worth noting that they do everything really well, whether you need hydration or texture, they are there for you hun!

Now one of my absolute faves is mentioned below (keep on reading, don't give up on me just yet) but aside from that the Down & Out Dirty Spray is everything I've been dreaming on in a can. It adds grit and texture without being at all drying, immediately giving your fresh clean hair a second - third day feel depending on how much you use. Then you have the Intern Flexible Hairspray which is the most un-hairspray like hairspray I've ever used. No crisp hair, no grit, no heavy alcohol scent that makes you choke. It actually smells beautiful and holds your hair in place all whilst keeping it feeling like your natural hair.

Then we have the Rich Kid Coconut Oil Air-Dry Styler which I use to hydrate the ends of my hair and also through the lengths when air drying. It smells incredible and helps to keep my natural waves frizz free.

The New Launch I'm Loving.

Whilst we were out in Miami the IGK team launched two new dry shampoos in addition to their beloved Jet Lag Dry Shampoo.
